“Food was great! Soul food is deluxe, try it all. My friend said best chili he ever had. Generous portions, crispy not greasy, wonderful customer service, thanks Dubs!”
“Six Test Kitchen - A Culinary and Oenological Gem!
My experiences at Six Test Kitchen are truly exceptional, especially thanks to the remarkable Christian Davy, the Wine Director. It's clear that Christian brings not just expertise, but a genuine passion for wine to the table.
He came on board at Six Test Kitchen thanks to Chef Ricky Odbert, & he's been instrumental in crafting an incredible wine program. I was particularly impressed with the thought put into the two distinct wine pairing options: a standard pairing and a reserve list. This offers fantastic flexibility depending on your preference and budget.
Christian's ability to perfectly complement Chef Odbert's innovative nine-course menu is outstanding. His commitment to finding such rare gems ensures a memorable and exclusive experience. Christian Davy elevates the dining experience at Six Test Kitchen to an art form. His selections are not just pairings; they are integral to the culinary journey, enhancing every bite. Highly recommend!”
“Beautiful wine in a rustic welcoming setting. This is a must see💕”
“We visited Sculpterra yesterday for a tasting. Our hotel recommended them due to their gardens and good wines. We had such an enjoyable visit with Kat. Kat was the most fun person we have run across in ages. Thanks to Kat for a great tasting!
The wines are all so delicious. It was hard to decide which we liked best because they were all so tasty! I especially love a Grenache and theirs is absolutely fantastic! We will keep ordering from Sculpterra!”

“Delicious and creative plant-based food combining great flavor with heart. I love the spicy Buffalo Chicken sandwich, the black bean taquitos, the Avalon burger with arugula and vegan Gouda cheese (!), and the avocado taco! Want to try everything on the menu! 5-stars for flavor, creativity, service, and location! Love Ziggy’s!!”
“Janis could not have been more hospitable to our group. We not only came away with great wine but we also learned a lot about farming grapes, making wine and our own tastebuds.”

“A wonderful spot for traditional Japanese. The sushi bar is fresh fresh fresh w-delicacies that aren’t always easy to find, the cooked foods were delicious and savory. Service was perfect and the price was fair. Run by a woman who took it over from her father. What more is there to say!? Go!!!”
“We had a truly memorable anniversary dinner at The Restaurant at Justin. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The food was exquisite—highlights included the halibut crudo, lamb, pasta, and a series of creative and delicious amuse-bouche selections. The kitchen was also incredibly thoughtful and accommodating of our dietary needs.Dessert was equally impressive, providing a perfect finale. What truly elevated the evening, though, was the wine pairing—easily the best I’ve ever experienced. Each selection was thoughtfully chosen and complemented the dishes with precision and elegance. The service was just as outstanding as the food. The servers were warm, attentive, and deeply knowledgeable. They introduced each course with care, explained the ingredients and preparation beautifully, and ensured perfect timing throughout the meal. Their genuine hospitality made us feel truly welcomed.
Chef Rachel’s artistry with fresh ingredients shone through in every dish, and truly justifies the Michelin star. The harmony of flavors and presentation reflected a high level of craft and creativity. A phenomenal experience from beginning to end—highly recommended, and can not wait to go back!”
“The Crimson Cue is a wonderful billiards club that not only offers large, well lighted tables with felt that is like new, they also polish the balls regularly. They also offer darts and shuffleboard, and they have several chess sets and a few regulars who might just play you!
The owners, Erik and Abbi, have put so much thought, energy and care into making Crimson Cue a welcoming place for everyone who walks through the door. I went a few times with my son, but neither of us knew much about pool when we started. Erik has helped us learn the fundamentals and several other regulars have offered us ongoing tips so we can both improve our games. It truly feels like a home away from home. They are always friendly and helpful.
It doesn’t matter if you are a local or only in town for the weekend - there is a place for you for here! Just want to have a good time on a date night during a vacation weekend in Paso? Try this out! You will not regret it. Or are you a local looking to learn pool and find a fun community of people who are really into it? Then you can’t miss Crimson Cue. They make it really affordable and always a happy, relaxed vibe.
I can’t recommend them enough! ❤️🎱”
“Great Irish ☘️ bar, perfect location, right on the square downtown Paso. After a day of wine tasting, we walked in & relaxed with their pretzel bites, which had a creamy dipping sauce(yum). We ordered a burger and their Mac n cheese. Both top-notch.”
“Dining at Somm’s Kitchen is so much more than just a meal, it’s a unique, interactive experience that lingers in your memory long after the last course. From start to finish, everything about the evening was exceptional.
Ian, the mastermind behind the concept, is an incredible host. He welcomes you with the warmth and enthusiasm that makes you feel like you’ve just stepped into his home. His deep knowledge, storytelling, and ability to connect each wine and dish to a personal journey made the night not only delicious, but also engaging and fun.
Each course was thoughtfully curated and expertly paired, highlighting ingredients and wines in ways that were both surprising and delightful.
We’d go back in a heartbeat and can’t recommend Somm’s Kitchen enough to anyone looking for a dining experience that’s intimate, elevated, and thoroughly enjoyable.”

“My spouse and I visited Calcareous in mid-March for a Cabernet tasting that was out of this world. We tasted a variety of wines from different vintages that were all outstanding. Each was beautifully made and are a great value for their price point. Our host, Nate, explained the wine characteristics, production details, and winery history. He expertly answered endless questions about the local wine community and other wine trivia. The whole experience was just great.”
“Just had an amazing experience at Eberle. Kirk, our tasting guide, possessed a wealth of knowledge about the vineyard and its history. He could not have been more entertaining, informative, and just generous with his time and tasting! Thoroughly enjoyed all the wines- all the reds have elegance and depth- but are less in your face than some California reds, but so smooth, lovely and enjoyable. We will be back!! In the day and age when everywhere is reservations only and super pricey, Eberle is a breath of fresh air- with years of quality to back up their stellar reputation.”
“Although the day began with clouds, the weather was pleasant and ideal for our group of four to start our Camp Cass adventure. Our tour guide was “Chase” and he met us at the main Tasting Room to start the day’s activities. We visited the restrooms and admired the expansive vistas of the entire Cass Winery estate from the highest point in the vineyard. The views are absolutely stunning. We then traveled together in a convoy of personal vehicles to the location where Cass Winery offers axe throwing and archery ranges with wine tasting for enjoyment. Eight of us had a great time doing archery and sharing a bottle of 2023 VIOGNIER Cass white wine. The white wine undergoes a cold fermentation process in stainless steel, resulting in a delightful combination of scents like honeysuckle, apricot, and Asian pear. The flavor of pear is prominent and continues on the palate, accompanied by a subtle note of banana custard that lingers into a satisfying grapefruit finish. Following our successful and expertly taken family photos at the shooting range, we made our way to the charming cafe tasting room on the east side of the wine estate. Beautiful Rhone vines, towering oak trees, and a picturesque Chef’s Garden surrounded the tasting room. We relished in a delightful lunch, accompanied by two glasses of exquisite red wine. The first being the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon, which is deep ruby red and has lovely fruit forward fragrances of lingonberry jam, black cherry, cassis, and cranberry. The second being our favorite 2021 ROCKIN’ ONE RED. 40% Mourvèdre, 27% Syrah, 26% Grenache, 7% Petite Sirah. The lovely red garnet color offers instant aromas of raspberry cordial, red cherry, and raisins. The taste buds detect notes of raspberry, vanilla, earth, and almond. We had a delightful wine tasting experience with a selection of dishes, including the Cass estate bread flight served with estate-grown olive oil, chef’s marmalades, spreads, and olives. Alice Cass’ crab cakes, a Caesar salad, blackened chicken mac and cheese, and a Monte Cristo panini with smoked ham, mortadella, bacon, and sweet lemon raspberry preserves. 😍😉”
“Cute little winery! Staff is very friendly. Did two wine flights that paired AMAZINGLY WELL with the salmon! The salmon was by the far our favorite!! Seasoned so well, paired so well with wines and incredibly delicious!!!”
“A girls weekend in Paso started with a patio tasting at Lone Madrone. Our server Mary walked us through some history and info on their dry farming and organic practices behind their wines. We tasted five wines and their English Bristols cider. My favs were the 2022 Estate Zinfandel and the 2022 Old Hat. I loved the fact that the winemaker's son designed the gorgeous label for the Zin, featuring a wreath of the cover crop they use in their organic vineyards. I got a bottle and once it's empty, I have plans to put some twinkly lights in it.
It was disappointing that although the winery confirmed with our organizer that they had lunch available at the time of our Friday visit (we did have a reserved tasting reservation), it turned out that they were not serving lunch that day! But it ended up working out - we drove down the road and had an outstanding lunch with great cocktails at Barton's Kitchen.”
“Really enjoyable tasting experience on a Saturday morning!
We were a group of 4 looked after by Carly for a tasting. The tasting room is new and luxurious, with thoughtful spacing amongst groups and nice views over the vineyards. Importantly, the wines are a treat to try, with the progression through varietals well done. another highlight was the service, which was warm and fun!
We were lucky to get a tour of the underground cave with Tyler, which includes a tasting room and barrel storage. It’s an amazing space and Tyler was a lot of fun
Thanks to the whole team for a lovely day out!”
“We had such an amazing time at Alpha Omega’s tasting room in Paso Robles! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome, but what really stood out was our host, Justin. He guided us through a side-by-side tasting that wasn’t just about sipping wine, but about understanding it. He explained the differences across vineyard sites, walked us through the nuances in the wines, and made the whole experience both educational and enjoyable.
What made it unforgettable, though, was Justin himself—professional, charismatic, and genuinely engaging. He had that rare ability to make the wines shine even brighter with his knowledge and energy. And honestly, being very easy on the eyes didn’t hurt either—the wine somehow tasted even better! If you’re in Paso, Alpha Omega should definitely be on your list, and if Justin is your guide, you’re in for something truly special.”

“i was really wanting hash browns from jack in the box so i went to the one off santa rosa in atown and sat in their drivethru talking to myself before driving all the way to this one on creston and i’m so glad i did! I hope management sees this because the employee named Alex I was helped by this morning totally turned my morning around and also made me the best vanilla coffee i’ve gotten at a drivethru. He deserves a raise, he delivered such excellent customer service to me that I had to right my first google review.”
“Great tasting experience with Stan. Exotic wines and incredible ports.”

“Libby and her team did my desserts for my wedding and they knocked it out of the park! My now hubby has the biggest sweet tooth so this one was a decision he was apart of! We did a sample tasting where I went and purchased all the cookie and cupcake options and went home and taste. 10/10 recommend that! It was a fun date night we had our friends apart of! The day of the wedding they delivered all my goodies and set things up beautifully! I’m so thankful for Libby and her team at the bakery for being apart of our big day! 💕”
“Food was decent, but the value for breakfast is not good. Coffee is SEVEN dollars, a bottle of beer here is 6 for comparison. Only 1 piece of toast with my omelet? The place was ok, but I felt like I was being nickled and dimed. I was able to walk down the street and get Amazing coffee for $3”
“We wanted a place in Paso Robles near the freeway that we could stop and have pizza on the way home from seeing Hearst Castle with our family. Well not only did we find a pizza place, we found a really good one and from the amount of business they where doing on a Wednesday evening I would say many people agree! It is locally owned and operated by friendly, helpful people who know how to make great food. Now if only they would open one in the Fresno/Clovis area.”
“what a great experience. They allow dogs, super friendly staff and great beer. We had such a grand time. If you’re in the area, Go!”

“It’s one of the best wine bars in San Luis Obispo county offering a wide array of domestic and international wines by the bottle or by the glass. I find the prices to be competitive and the bartenders very knowledgeable with their craft. I highly recommend this lace to anyone who wants to sample local Paso Robles and international wines. Don’t take my word for it, come and visit soon.”
“Friendly staff, a pup to greet you and reasonably priced for a flight. I’m a sweet cider fan and all they have is dry but the slushy (watermelon flavor) was fantastic! I’d personally like smaller tastes and more to taste than bigger tastes with fewer to select. More like 6-2 ounce than 4-3 ounce. Just my personal preference!”
“First time coming here the other night . I have to say the service was top notched and our waiter was great . I had the lasagna it was delicious . My mother had the eggplant Parmesan and she said it was really good and my dad had the special something with sausage and that was really good as well . If you like Italian food you must come try them they are in tin city Paso .definitely will be back”
“Love the food and the people are extremely friendly. It's worth every penny! The service is great!
Just stopped by again and enjoyed an excellent meal. The food and the service combined with genuine hospitality is a business model that can't fail. I love this place!!!”

“This is my wife's and my second time dining here and the food was great as the first time. Our young server during today's visit was very impersonal. From bringing our food to the last time she came to our table was to bring our check. The older waitress who seated us was very pleasant. Hoping this was just an off day for our younger server. Thank you La Mexicana”
“Made a pit stop at Paso Robles, and I thought, some hot noodle soup sound good for a cold weather. I was kinda skeptic 🤨 thinking it’s a Thai restaurant and not Vietnamese. But it did not disappoint. The broth alone was tasty. A single serving can feed two. And I like how they served on the side, generous amount of basil, Mung bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeño (for added kick).”

“What a great place for seafood. Had the seafood pasta and was not disappointed. Big flavor, ample sauce, and serving. The wait staff was attentive and helpful. If you like great service & good seafood food, this is your next stop!”

“This is our first Winery Tour ever, and Austin Hope was the first winery of our day, so we didn't really know what to expect. Upon arrival, were warmly greeted with a glass of white wine, then escorted to a corner cabana with the backdrop of the vineyard! At first, I was a bit hesitant seating outside because it was March and this year has been unusually cold, but the hostess assured me that they had heat lamps and blankets. Sure enough, with the beautiful flame heat lamp and the soft warm blanket, we were comfortable and cozy, and settled into a wonderful experience. I forgot who was our server, but she was very knowledgeable about the wines, and also personable and caring. She make sure that we were comfortable, and our young daughter had sparkling water in her wine glass so she could (kind of) participate with us. I highly recommend their Charcuterie tray, which has a great assortment of wine, meats and nuts. I love how our server explained the wine at each pour, then leave us ample time to enjoy the glass and talk. She also brought us handwarmers to keep our hands warm. There were so many small caring touches that truly made our first winery tasting experience so wonderful. I'm not much of a wine person, but I ended up loving their wine too. After our tasting at Austin Hope, the other wineries just couldn't compare. Thank you very much for a first winery experience that I will never forget. I will definitely be back!”
“We've been coming here so often that they started remembering what we liked to order. The stout is good and not heavy so I can drink a whole pint and not be dizzy in the slightest. The cheese curds are awesome with the ranch sauce they make. I usually get the wagu burger and add bacon/avocado to the burger. They cook it medium rare and it melts in your mouth. The chicken strips are well seasoned. We love the tacos. The establishment has only been open for a short while and I really already like coming here. We usually get a couple krowlers to go of the stout which they can do with any of their beers on tap.”

“The food is unique. They have options of getting small servings of dishes in groups of trios and quartets so you can taste a larger variety. The salads and brussel sprouts we ate were too good. The carrot soup was super yum. The aioli served with the fries was to die for.”
“We stopped here for lunch and loved it. We had the watermelon mint and regular margarita and we both agreed that while both were tasty, the watermelon was the winner (they use fresh juice and agave and you can tell these are very well made). For the tacos, the fish tacos with mango fell short for us, so we ordered extra of the short rib tacos which were divine - so juicy and tender. We will definitely return in the future to try some of their other choices. Shoutout to our waitress Kylie who was super sweet from the very beginning!”

“Finca in Paso Robles is a really great spot with a fun, laid-back vibe. It's the kind of place you go when you want to enjoy some good food and a cool atmosphere without it feeling too formal.
The food is honestly what keeps you coming back. While they have a lot of awesome dishes, their vegetarian options are seriously good. The mushroom tacos and bowls are a great choice, they're flavorful, filling, and a perfect example of how they make every dish count. You won't miss the meat at all.
The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which just adds to the whole experience. They're helpful with the menu and make you feel right at home.
Overall, Finca is a fantastic place to hang out and get some delicious food. If you're looking for a chill spot with awesome tacos and bowls, this is it. I'd definitely recommend it.”

“Amazing cocktails. Wonderful staff and amazing atmosphere. Would advise to anyone looking for unique drinks with informative staff. Staff is always more than happy to share how and what is in the cocktails if you are like me a cocktail enthusiast. 5 out 5 from me.”
“Every time we visit Justin Winery, downtown, Jose goes above and beyond to make our experience truly meaningful. He is delightful. From the moment we arrive, he treats us like royalty, always greeting us with the warmest smile and genuine hospitality. Jose has an incredible way of making you feel welcomed and valued. He takes the time softly to explain each wine, sharing the details behind every pour,, which makes tasting experience so much more meaningful and enjoyable.”
“My husband and I were visiting the area on our honeymoon in Paso. We came across this gem! I had a grilled chicken salad with purple cauliflower and Farro. No joke, that was the best salad I've ever had!!! our honeymoon was 5 months ago, and I still think about this salad almost daily... I'm extremely impressed by this restaurant by wowing me the first go round. If I was local, I'd eat there a few times a week.”
“A most wonderful experience. The food was unforgettable!”
