Once I realized, I was fine to leave them be to close up because I know it can be inconvenient to have customers walk in as you’re closing. The staff insisted they were happy to make our order as long as it was to go. We ordered two meals and they said “it’ll be ready in 5min” and they were not lying! Less than 4min later, we had our food and were out the door. It was delicious!! Dynasty gets 5 stars for the service alone, plus the food is delicious. Glad to have a great Chinese restaurant on the east side🙏 will be back!”

Was expecting a different pie from the online menu I checked before arriving but they had the Beetaroni instead. Delicious and filling. Toppings were layered properly and everything was balanced. They have a vegan salad on the menu as well as an appetizer. Great drink options for all as well. Beer and NA options. Convivial atmosphere, was packed when I was there but got a nice spot at the communal table.”

“California in general is a reasonably easy place to find vegan food, but it often comes with a hefty price and either options that are extremely esoteric or copied from the menu of the last page you visited.
While not gourmet by any means, Pretty Good Advice was a perfect merger of almost healthy fare and comfort food, and it didn't break the wallet to eat there.
The seating is pretty limited, and half of the bar-style stools have you looking at a wall close-up, but the atmosphere was just quirky enough to not be pretentious. Although they were reasonably busy, the cooks gave off the impression that they actually might not hate their jobs. The bathroom had arty stickers that meant I stayed in there probably a little longer than the person waiting outside would have wanted me to.
Looking for a quick and no-nonsense tasty vegan meal? I can offer some pretty good advice on a place to try.”

“Gilman Brewing in Santa Cruz is absolutely amazing 🤩. The new menu is fire. I had the brussel sprouts which were delicious and farmhouse salad with steak. The salad was so good and adding the steak just made it the best meal.

“We had a really nice date night at After Hours! It's a neat place, part coffee shop/ cocktail bar/dumpling house/chicken joint. Their official names are: 11th Hour, After Hours, Full Steam Dumpling, and Chubbs Chicken Sandwiches. I definitely want to come back and try the dumplings (they weren't there that night)--and more cocktails! The cocktails were solid. Better than I've had in awhile. The vibe was chill and Allen, the bar manager, was really friendly, passionate about what he does, and gave us some good, local recs for food and drink.
I got two cocktails:
- Chanel Vintage: Sencha Vodka, Matcha Venus Aquavit, Lemon, Blackberry, Blueberry, Housemade Mochi (not too sweet at all and the housemade mochi was fun)
- Limerence: Citadelle Gin, Kina L'Aero D'or, Passion fruit, Lemon Vanilla Sherbert, Side of Prosecco (I've been wanting to try a Porn Star for awhile and this is their version of it. I'm a fan. I also automatically love anything with a side of prosecco.)
Allen also gave us housemade lemon shortbread and chocolate to try. Fun stuff. I am all for this baked goods + cocktails combo. Super inventive.

Also, the harsh lighting was way too bright throughout the restaurant. I wanted my sunglasses on. Please read the room & tone down the lighting & warm the place up, then we’ll be back. Mahalo”

The store appeared clean, and there is a bench nearby where you can sit. However, tables are located further away and may be difficult to find during busy times.

The atmosphere is chill and fun, she made us feel completely welcome and we met some of the regulars. She turned the whole place into a Karaoke party and the whole bar got into the vibe. We ended up staying until the next shift came on and late into the night. These guys and gals really know how to show you a good time. The cocktails were great and the prices were really decent. “My wife and I went there on Saturday for our date night. For appetizers we had the broccolini and the wagyu carpaccio. Both were absolutely amazing. Very flavorful and inspired taste.
For our main we had the pork skirt and the lamb. Perfectly cooked and so tasty.
We shared the creme brulee for dessert and it was one of the best I have had in the last few years.
I would say the price is fair for the portions and amazing for the food experience.
My wife and I agree that this is one of the best restaurant in Santa Cruz county.
If you are looking for a large burger and fries this is not the place but if you want good, well thought out food, then give this restaurant a try and you will not be disappointed.”

When I had tasted the Oreo flavor , i was able to distinguish the exact taste that Michoacana , the streets, vendor ice cream that I have tasted as a child only . I knew instantly I had to get myself some . Only saddens my heart to say that I’ll only be able to enjoy that exact flavor only when I visit Santa Cruz but most definitely will stop by here every time before leaving . I am writing this review after my birthday & I still can’t stop thinking about that rich flavor that brought a little bit of home from Mexico to my mouth . The gentleman was very nice and very sweet.
