The dogs were a hit with both of us! They were fresh, and the buns were quality. There were also a few sodas I’d never seen before in the soda chest. The owner was super kind. We will definitely come here again when the kids are craving dogs. Support your local businesses!”

I came here to try the two rolls listed they have listed on line. Instead found that a Japanese Peruvian couple began their own restaurant, Oyuki here, and they have created a number of plant-based roles showcasing deliciousness from both culinary cultures! I had “Vegan Pot Stickers” (you can get them boiled or fried and I tried fried) , “The Warrior Special” roll , and the Peruvian drink made of sweet purple corn, apple, pear and pineapple called “Chicha Morada”. All delicious! I would very happily take a date here—Not necessarily a ‘fancy dress-up’ date, but still a very nice date!  Updated from previous review on 2026-04-25”

“We had a really nice date night at After Hours! It's a neat place, part coffee shop/ cocktail bar/dumpling house/chicken joint. Their official names are: 11th Hour, After Hours, Full Steam Dumpling, and Chubbs Chicken Sandwiches. I definitely want to come back and try the dumplings (they weren't there that night)--and more cocktails! The cocktails were solid. Better than I've had in awhile. The vibe was chill and Allen, the bar manager, was really friendly, passionate about what he does, and gave us some good, local recs for food and drink.
I got two cocktails:
- Chanel Vintage: Sencha Vodka, Matcha Venus Aquavit, Lemon, Blackberry, Blueberry, Housemade Mochi (not too sweet at all and the housemade mochi was fun)
- Limerence: Citadelle Gin, Kina L'Aero D'or, Passion fruit, Lemon Vanilla Sherbert, Side of Prosecco (I've been wanting to try a Porn Star for awhile and this is their version of it. I'm a fan. I also automatically love anything with a side of prosecco.)
Allen also gave us housemade lemon shortbread and chocolate to try. Fun stuff. I am all for this baked goods + cocktails combo. Super inventive.
Will definitely be back for more cocktail talent!”

Both doors, front & back, were wide open during the entire evening show (48 degrees outside). Even the band mentioned how cold it was before beginning their set. All the customers wore jackets. Also, the harsh lighting was way too bright throughout the restaurant. I wanted my sunglasses on. Please read the room & tone down the lighting & warm the place up, then we’ll be back. Mahalo”

“I am doing three stars for the service portion of the review this last Sunday 6/7/26. We were promptly seated and then....nothing for over 20mins. We had to ask to order drinks finally. In total it was 30mins before we got our first drink. There seem to be plenty of staff (at about 6pm the place was about 2/3 full), but their efficiency was poor. There just did not seem to be the scanning of tables to see what was needed at any given moment.

“Nina ROCKS!!! We wandered in on a whim and she did not disappoint! This place is the best little dive/ hip spot but you’d never imagine just walking by. The atmosphere is chill and fun, she made us feel completely welcome and we met some of the regulars. She turned the whole place into a Karaoke party and the whole bar got into the vibe. We ended up staying until the next shift came on and late into the night. These guys and gals really know how to show you a good time. The cocktails were great and the prices were really decent. We will definitely be back!”

When I had tasted the Oreo flavor , i was able to distinguish the exact taste that Michoacana , the streets, vendor ice cream that I have tasted as a child only . I knew instantly I had to get myself some . Only saddens my heart to say that I’ll only be able to enjoy that exact flavor only when I visit Santa Cruz but most definitely will stop by here every time before leaving . I am writing this review after my birthday & I still can’t stop thinking about that rich flavor that brought a little bit of home from Mexico to my mouth . The gentleman was very nice and very sweet.
