“This was better than I thought it would be. The food must be kept stored (frozen possibly) inside. Once ordered and paid at the touchscreen, the food is then delivered to the heating area and warmed. It seems clear to me that this heating process is much like a coffee pod. The lid is made of a lightweight cardboard with a thin plastic seal below. Both were intentionally punctured, presumably with steam, I ordered rice, or water, my wife had noodles. Once to temp. The door at the right will illuminate and you can then remove your food. The food in self is very tasty, I can't remember what rice dish I had, but my wife had Black sesame pork with noodles, and it was pretty good. We came here at 10:00 PM and they were open no troubles“

Wait was only a few minutes at lunchtime and easy with the yelp app.Green bean appetizer - perfectly cooked and crispy with great pepper garnishes and flavor.Scallion pancake - solid appetizer, crispy and great scallion flavor.Juicy pork dumplings - a favorite! So tasty and flavorful, someone mentioned they were too sweet but I didn’t get that at all. Love the juiciness.Chicken scallion - ooh these tasted so good. I was afraid chicken might be dry but these were our second favorite dumpling!Mongolian beef boiled - meh, saw another reviewer say these were their favorite but I felt they were pretty bland. Like a 4/10 for us.Next time I’d love to try the steamed dumplings. We were just so stuffed!“

“I recently visited Basecamp (Nepalese restaurant) and had a delightful experience. The vegetable Momos and kale chaat were particularly outstanding, with their flavors and textures blending perfectly. They were definitely the highlights of the meal. I also tried the vegetable tofu chowmein, which was decent but didn't quite match the excellence of the Momos and kale chaat. However, the restaurant offers a wide variety of vegetarian options, which is impressive. Compared to other Nepalese restaurants I've been to, this one stands out for its flavorful and tasteful dishes. I would highly recommend trying their vegetable Momos and kale chaat for a delicious culinary experience and other dishes as well.“

“Go now for brunch before it blows up!!!Omg not only are their brunch items so aesthetically beautiful they are DELISH!!!We had the fluffy cakes, the Benedict Sando, and the 1398 Rancheros. The Benedict Sando was deconstructed- sandwich and then a dish of delicious poached eggs in mustardy hollandaise sauce. Wow!! The bulgogi on the rancheros was delicious and sooo flavorful, and spiced very mildly- not too spicy at all. The fluffy cakes stole the show. I even used a few of the dry cakes to sop up my Benedict sauce. Yum yum yum!!!!Also service was great, not slow at all, and super attentive. They ran out of the Thai iced tea and replaced it immediately with another beverage. Very thoughtful.“

“We came here on New Years Day and they were packed as you would expect. They were very kind and accommodated our 6 person table as quickly as they could. For such a casual eatery the food is immaculate. Nothing I've eaten here as disappointed on portion or flavor. Their Tom yum noodles with crispy chicken are something I craze frequently. Their Garlic Noodles are so flavorful! I have been back and will continue coming back here!“

“Such a beautiful and special experience in a gorgeous setting. Azalina and her team create innovative menus that you can't get anywhere else in the city with fresh produce that all comes from the area. The sauces, curries and meats are to die for and the portions are so much larger than a tasting menu should entail. The staff and owners are so thoughtful and make you feel so welcome. The interior of the restaurant is also gorgeous and transports you far from the bustle of the city. “The soup dumplings were delicious. Another in the group ordered the Bao and really enjoyed it as well. The staff might be some of the best in all of California. They were insightful when it came to ordering and the food came out extremely fast. Absolutely fantastic!“

“i got the bbq lovers chicken rice plate for 15 bucks, and they flew past all expectations for both flavor and portions. the chicken was cooked well and had a nice grilled flavor. it came with fresh chopped vegetables and rice. definitely a repeater for me!“

“Brought parental units here for a weekday late lunch. The environment is chill, food was good, service was warm and friendly. | Ambiance | There's ~8 table here, with benches for seating; each table can comfortably seat 4-6, possibly more with kids. The restaurant is bright and delightfully decorated. | Food | Given this was our first time here, we ordered two #1 Original: one with shrimp, one with beef. The meat/bone broth has been cooked for hours and has a delicious depth to it. We had regular noodles (imported from Yuana) in one and kale noodles in the other. Both were delicious. The bridge of toppings that come with each order of noodles, albeit gimmicky, was fun and added texture to the dish; atop the bridge were corn, preserve vegetables, yuba, goji berries, ham slices, a shrimp, wood ear strips, chives, and a quail egg. The protein ( slices of beef and shrimp) came out raw, along with noodles on the side, and piping hot broth for us to cook everything in. All in all, a very satisfying meal. We also got the tofu + ground pork cold dry noodles and a wood ear appetizer. The dry noodles were unique and I liked the tofu flavors in them, though I still preferred the version with broth. The wood ear appetizer was good - vinegary and had a little kick. | Service | The manager/owner (?), having learned that this was our first visit, welcomed us and shared her recommendations. It was clear she's passionate about the food and takes pride in their offerings. She and the other waitress were both great in ensuring we were well taken care of; service was quick. Despite this being a restaurant that has been opened for only 5 months, everything is operating smoothly. When the bill came, I opted to pay with a credit card. These days, the tip portion of the credit card workflow at restaurants can get quite confusing, often ranging anywhere from 15-25% or more. Unlike other restaurants that default tip to 18% or 20%, I appreciated Oodle defaulting theirs to 15%. For that, and for the delightful service, I was happy to increase the tip to the next tier up at 18%. They earned it!“

“Parking can be challenging to find in this area. Went on Saturday around 8.45pm. The freshest dumplings I have ever had. They have an an open kitchen and one can look through the glass window of them preparing the dumplings. Service is fast Ordered a bunch of items. Sichuan XLB: best XLB I have had. Period. The filling has mala spice in it that lifts the entire XLB experience Shanghai XLB: very tasty and fresh Steamed bbq pork bao: very fresh, the bun was the perfect texture and wasn't too thick and doughy at all. The filling was tasty Pan fried shrimp and chives dumpling : came in a triangular shape. Freshly made and plenty of filling Fried curry taro puff: very flaky and came in a swan shape. Filling could have been more Friend spring rolls: very fresh and tasty and crispy Chicken fried rice: standard chicken fried rice Mama egg plant and tofu: very tasty. The sauce was sweet and spicy Mountain rose tea: comes per person. Also it's a tea bag. Nothing great“

“Super quick and delicious meal! My friend and I walked in on a Friday after early cocktails nearby and were immediately greeted & seated! We ordered the chicken dumplings, wagyu dumplings, chicken chow mein and stir fried string beans. The green beans were the star of the show! They were amazing. We also really enjoyed the chow mein. Next time I'd like to get a different type of dumpling, as the chicken dumplings were just okay.“

“If you are craving Burmese food, which if you are unfamiliar is the best of Indian, Chinese and Thai cuisines, B-star is a reliable workhorse. This is part of the same chain as Burma Superstar in SF and East Bay, i.e. same menu.Tea leaf salad is the must-have go-to dish at any Burmese restaurant. And B-star does not disappoint. For vegetarians, you can skip the fish sauce if you let your server know. “Staff were super attentive and helpful. We were told to order mild level of spicy and were greatful for the suggestion, as that was plenty spicy for our group. Also their vegan mushroom broth was so flavorful we took some home! Quality was really fresh and I would reccomend this place to my friends as well as plan on coming back!Vegetarian options: Their mushroom stock is super flavorful and an excellent option for everyone!“

“The space was much larger than I anticipated so plenty of room to spread out. Love the Friday hours where they don't close after lunch so I don't have to hurry to get there. Staff was attentive and super friendly and we really enjoyed the food. If, like us, you just want them to bring the food - order at once and they bring everything when it is ready. Since some of the items come to the table super hot this allows some time to cool down. If you want things more in courses, stagger your order. We enjoyed a Foggy Day IPA, the Xiao Long Bao (probably my fav), Pan-fried Pork Buns (wait, this might be my fav), and Chicken with Shiitake Mushroom Dumpling. So fun to share and can't wait to go back and try more. I would like to know who thought Country and Western was the right choice of tunes to set the stage.“

“This is an interesting place. Have some Japanese dishes on the menu like gyoza and udon.... And contest style skewers .... And Thai ice tea? The Thai ice tea is cute though because they use the teddy bear shaped ice.Skewers are good. The servers bring them out without plates and put them on a hot plate on your table. That's pretty clever. The sets come on its own hot plate.Udon was decent.Decor is a bit weird? It's cool when you first walk in and see the flowers and lanterns and umbrellas hanging from the ceiling but there are a lot of other elements that don't seem to fit together...“

“I love this place. Every time I come here they are so friendly. And their food is truly the best. A fusion of Thai, and Chinese cuisine. My favorite dish is the butter garlic crab with french fries. If you order it with a side of garlic noodles it's truly amazing. Their spicy Fried rice has chicken and shrimp in it and is actually very original in taste. Stephanie and Allie have always treated me well. This place is a gathering point of this particular community and most importantly, it's open very late. When everyone else is closed, this is the place you go to for gourmet food when you don't want to have a slice of pizza or fast food. I have met so many good acquaintances here. And this is where I bring guests that are flying in from out of town first. They are right next to the airport......“

“This is just as bomb as it was years ago when I lived here. Get the garlic edamame. I admit I am biased. I prefer Asian food to all other food. I lived in Asia.. The banh mi sandwich is on point. The noodles are all delicious . Tim is a great server. I’m a little high maintenance. By little I mean a lot. He was super patient with me and accommodating. Thanks Tim!“

“Been coming since they first open and I know and read it’s hit or miss on service depends on the day and person working but for my years of experience I’ve always enjoyed it. As long they get the usual food I order right and on time, on top of that food and dessert is good than this place is a four star for me. They don’t need to check on us or serve us like kings or queens because it’s a Hong Kong dessert house people. It’s not Gary danko with a $$$$ sign. The price is good. I usually get the egg puff which is better than all egg puff location even eggette. The HK milk tea is good but not as good as honk kong, fried garlic chicken wings, soy sauce wings,ham egg sandwich and mix fruits. Oh their green tea ice cream is a no no but vanilla is fine. They use the same batter for the waffle as the egg puff which is so yummy! Moving on that’s my usual order which has kept me going here for years. Wish they open earlier but I know they cater to the late people.“

“One of my favorite places in the city. Everything but the roasted chicken/fried rice is outstanding (they don’t have a big menu). The roasted chicken and fried rice are average. Their price has increased by 20-30 percent compared to about two years ago. So sad that inflation got to this little neighborhood restaurant too. Highly recommend their spicy chili sauce, it makes everything better. For this particular location, there’s probably not a good ventilation system so you might walk out smell like the smoke from cooking. Their other location on clement st has better air. Will still come back in the future.“

“Truly amazing food and service. We went on an evening where there was a show nearby so the restaurant was busy and the bar was slow. However our waiter brought each of us a glass of prosecco while we waited. Our food came out rather fast and together and everything was spectacular. We ordered the Platha, which was hot and perfectly flaky, the Green Curry Noodles, yum!, Tea Leaf Salad, a classic, and the Branzino.Can we stop and talk about the Branzino!!!!!! Absolute perfection. It was fresh, perfectly cooked, and the sauce that went along with it was beyond flavorful with an amazing kick to it. I will go back just for this dish. Hats off to the Chef; who we had a chance to meet and share with them how much we loved this dish.With all four of us having a cocktail and sharing dessert, the cost per person was $64, including 20% gratuity.Dietary restrictions: This restaurant can be challenging for this with nut allergies.“

“Such a tasty treat! We went for dinner and had the Samusa, Tea Leaf Salad, and some veggies. Everything was so delicious. The server was very friendly. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming. Definitely will go back. It’s also affordable.“

“I really enjoy their spicy tofu noodles. It's the right balance of spicy and flavorful. Taking off a star the following reason:This is a truck, the food is to take away (yes I understand it's usually parked at spark social) and yet they serve it in an open bowl with a foil cover on it. This isn't a great solution for anyone trying to take it home or back to the office. Bags are $0.27 cents.. If they packaged it in a proper container, I wouldn't need a bag.“

“My husband and I love stopping by here whenever we are in the neighbourhood. We always judge the quality of Sichuanese style restaurants by their Couple'd Delight. This place by far has my favourite in the entire city. I soak up every last drop of the sauce with rice if I can manage it. It's so buttery and delicious. We always leave happy and full. The service is great. The ladies that wait the tables are very sweet and talkative. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for solid Sichuanese style cuisine.“

We had the mini pan fried xiao long baos (mini soup dumplings), the jiang biang (Chinese breakfast wrap they’re calling a Chinese burrito), the tofu Shanghai style, and tan tan noodles.Everything was a hit except the noodles— wasn’t the type of noodle one typically has and it made the flavors a bit bland. Everything else: great.“

“Went to Matsuyama for a late Valentines dinner this weekend and everything about the experience was wonderful!!! My girl and I each got the AYCE A5 wagyu menu and this is one of the few times in my life where a $100 meal felt like a bargain. The menu was filled with so many unique items and everything was top quality! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a fancy and fun date night experience!!!“

“Ordered hot and spicy pork noodles - delicious, tasty but not at all spicy. Despite no heat, taste was very good - noodles were perfectly cooked, veggies were bursting with crunch and taste and pork was done well too and did I mention not spicy!! I also ordered the shrimp pork dumplings- spectacularly fresh! The place was packed on the night I dined in - indicative of its popularity! Only regret is that I didn’t have a bigger crowd with me to sample more of the menu!“

“The restaurant is simple and clean. We ordered a lot of dishes. They were all good. For me, the best dish was Suan Cai Yu . It was a resplendent dish full of delicious tender fish slices, delicately pickled mustard greens, and crunchy sprouts, all immersed in a most tangy savory soup. This dish stimulated our appetite. It was perfect to eat with rice.Both of us were very satisfied with the food and the reasonable prices, and we had to get takeout boxes because there was so much food. I‘ll return again.“

“Ordered the jjamppong (#3), a dish I'd never had, and loved it. It's described as "spicy" so I was nervous, but it was not too spicy at all and I'm a wimp. So, if you're hoping for heat, this wouldn't do it for you. The soup is described as having pork but I only found like 2 tiny tiny slivers of pork in the bowl, which were scrumptious and while I would have loved more, the lack of pork didn't detract from the dish. The portion suits the price - it's very generous, but bear in mind that it's mostly broth, cabbage and noodles, so I think the price is spot on. Excited to go back and try other things!!“

“Delicious noodles; I think this is the tastiest chow mein I have ever had with perfect texture noodles, yummy sauce, and fresh veggies. Other dishes we tried and really liked include Mongolian beef and string bean chicken. The Shezjuan tofu had so many rave reviews we decided to try it too; amazing sauce but the tofu itself is thickly breaded then deep fried...too heavy/greasy for us.“

“Stunning meal, a restaurant that really suited the whole family and left us with leftovers for tomorrow's dinner to feed the family as well! Moreover, the service once we were seated was incredibly quick, it did take a while for our order to be taken, however, once put through the food arrived surprisingly quickly. The restaurant was very busy the day we went, showing the popularity among locals (and ourselves!). Recommend if you are in the area and have a hankering for asian cuisine.Kid-friendliness: Lots of children at the restaurant with families and they had high chairs available.
