Decided to try the key lime pie for dessert and it was incredible. The entire experience from beginning to end was great. This was the University location.”

The food was very good cooked perfectly! the service was perfect as well very polite and checked in frequently to be sure everything was good and we had everything we needed. I will be back and recommend to all my friends! If I had 1 complaint I guess I'd say the prices but in reality you get what you pay for all around here. It's worth it to me! I do not recommend this as a restaurant for kids. ☆☆☆☆☆”

“Food was absolutely delicious! I got the Chicken Curry at mild heat and my fiancé got the Tikki Masala, mild heat as well! We both LOVED our dishes! Tased very good and authentic! Wait staff was very kind! They also do a good job wiping things down, being sanitary, wearing gloves, and then instead of reusable cups, they give you a water bottle! Would highly recommend and we cannot wait to go back!”

My wife had a gyro wrap that she said was “ok” which ran around $11.Still getting 4 stars as I will reccomend it over the Mo’s restaurant that is nearby on 60th and Ashworth (that place is a ripoff on portion sizes/price) but the bar is low for halal options in the area.”

I grew up in NY where freedom as a kid meant having $1 and being old enough to walk to the corner pizzaria on your own - or having $2 so you could bribe an older sibling to go with you if you weren't old enough to go alone. Plenty of places call themselves NY pizza, but don't come close. The pizza and pasta at TONY is authentic NY. The garlic knots and zepoles are perfect. It's our first stop whenever we're in Des Moines.”

“OPA Italian & Greek for the win tonight! After being on vacation for Christmas and new years this is a great welcome home!!! Jon Ochoa and the staff were very welcoming! The place was packed! It was fun to get the suburban in the parking spot! The only thing I dislike here! I went out on a limb and got the Mediterranean steak over a bed of vegetables. I’m gonna try this fad diet again it’s the new year rite! The wife got our normal the chicken parmigiana Diablo! Gosh I love that dish but doing this low carb thing!! The atmosphere was great, the service was fast and attentive, and the food....we had the Mama's meatballs and Margherita pizza, and OMG they were both fantastic. We were there for happy hour and our food was half price with a decent selection of other half price items. I may have to get an order of those meatballs to go before next week when I head back to MD.Highly recommend this restaurant!!!!Lol, yes I took a bit of the meatballs before I took the picture. And my friend really enjoyed the house wine, said it was very good. She had the house red.”

“Went with my niece before an appointment. Showed up a little before 9 and Zuella was the cashier. She was very personable and polite. She had a warm feeling about her. We dined in and my niece and I both got the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. Both sandwiches were fresh and Zuella came out and checked on us. She was very hospitable. Restaurant was clean. What I did appreciate was there was a table of staff all sitting together eating behind us. Whether it was them on break or about to start/ended shift, it was nice to see they were given that time and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Great experience.”

“I was looking for a unique place with a plant based option in the Des Moines area. They had a really delicious vegan sausage pizza and hummus. The dough they make has a really nice chew to it, and it is cooked to perfection. Along with the really tasty food, they also have 100 beers to choose from. There are lots of local beer choices from all around Iowa. They also have crowlers that they will fill and cap for you at that moment. If you're in the area, give them a try.”

“I’m addicted to hyper! The staff is always so friendly. The hyper infused energy is delicious and doesn’t leave me shaky, like traditional energy drinks. I typically go to West Des Moines location and they are fast and efficient. Even with long lines, I spend 5 min max in line there. I sometimes go to the Urbandale location and the staff is also friendly, but a lot less efficient. Even with 3-4 car line, I’m waiting in line up to 10 minutes. Whatever West Des Moines is doing should be implemented at Urbandale.”

We still found parking easily for the large vehicle. There was plenty of overflow parking around the restaurant if it had all been taken.”

“Decided to stop by for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by how amazing the food, service and atmosphere was!We were promptly greeted and sat at a table where the waitress asked what we would like to drink and if we wanted any queso with our chips and salsa. Of course we did and by the time she came back with all three, we were ready to order. I ordered the steak quesadilla with rice and beans, a steak taco on a corn tortilla and my husband got a beef chimichanga.Everything was full of flavor, from the Smokey salsa served with our chips to the steak quesadilla and the rice! Will definitely be going back as the service was impeccable, the restaurant was very clean and tidy and the food was a hit! 10/10 would come back to eat here again!”
“Absolutely loved this breakfast place. My grandmother was so excited they offered a senior menu. The kids menu was perfect. All the food was delicious and the staff were super friendly. We really enjoyed dining here and will absolutely be back the next time we want breakfast.The offerings are very similar to IHOP but local. Prices were very reasonable. Have no complaints at all. “Went tonight for dinner and had a great time. There was a little bit of a wait, so we decided to sit at the bar. Our bartender was the best part of the night. Her name was Alliane and she was awesome. Not only did she do great waiting on us, she was constantly helping the new employees and giving them tips on how to be the best server. She also introduced some new drinks to us that were delicious. (not sure what it was called but tasted like a dum-dum sucker.) And of course food was phenomenal! Can't wait to come back.”
“Went twice during my visit to WDM. The seaweed salad was fantastic. The spicy chicken ramen was good, but the toppings were the best part. I found the pork soup base to be a bit on the bland side, but overall a pretty good dish, and the portion size was huge. I got the spicy crunch crab roll and mountain roll on my second visit, and they were both delicious. The pickled ginger was very fresh as well. I will definitely be stopping by the next time I'm in the area.”

“Fun place to take kids! 2 things I'd complain about is there were a few times we went to one of the bars to get a drink and had to wait at least 5 mins for someone to come help us and they are pretty much cashless at all the bars. The lady was kind enough to pay with her card and take our cash though.”

My last order for to go was paid for with a gift card from corporate on Dec 7th, and yet another (premium) side was missing, and the rice had a hair in it (Definitely not one of ours). Eat in experience may be different, but to go is horrible.”
“Cool place with chill atmosphere and friendly staff. The deep dish pizzas were delicious and, even as a glutton for pizzas, quickly filling. Not to mention that the tiramisu was pretty good. Went here with some friends and we all had a great time.”

I received my bill and the waiter had not done what he said he would. Long story short I had to complain to get the $6 taken off of my bill. I was going to give a $10 tip but I took the $6 off and cut it in half for trying to overcharge me.”
“Went with my niece before an appointment. Showed up a little before 9 and Zuella was the cashier. She was very personable and polite. She had a warm feeling about her. We dined in and my niece and I both got the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. Both sandwiches were fresh and Zuella came out and checked on us. She was very hospitable. Restaurant was clean. What I did appreciate was there was a table of staff all sitting together eating behind us. Whether it was them on break or about to start/ended shift, it was nice to see they were given that time and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Great experience.”
“I went through the drive thru around 1pm on Sunday 3/24 and the service was excellent!! They were extremely patient in the drive thru! We did have a pricing issue with our order but when I went in to get it resolved I left a very happy customer. Top tier customer service skills. Definitely not an easy job but they do it very well!”

Not limited to typical bar food. We had a Reuben, Kimchi flat bread, and brussel sprouts. It was so much food, but so good we couldn't stop eating.”

Wait staff was very kind! They also do a good job wiping things down, being sanitary, wearing gloves, and then instead of reusable cups, they give you a water bottle! Would highly recommend and we cannot wait to go back!”
