“I had a large catering order for a construction meeting in DC. They asked for something new. Since I love Julep's, I brought some for my customers. Emily was great from start to finish and helped me make a good menu. I asked for the order to be ready by 1030am and they made it happen. Everyone loved the food. You don't win friends with salad. “I wanted a good steak for my birthday and I immediately jumped on google.. I came across Lewnes Steakhouse and read the reviews. We dined there yesterday for my birthday. From the time we walked in until the time we left everything was great! The food was very delicious and our steaks were cooked to perfection as requested. The waiter was very attentive and checked on us multiple times. The complimentary brownie with fudge and Ice-cream was mouthwatering. We will be returning soon.”

“I had a rehearsal dinner for 97 people including 11 children and a welcome party after for about 100 people. The food was outstanding and the service was exceptional! The children loved the pizza! Taylor, the event coordinator, made this a five star event in every category including STRESS FREE for me being I live in New York! My son and now daughter in law said it couldn’t have been better! Their wedding was on Gibson Island the next day so it was a great start to the weekend!”

“I am getting to know the owner Rhema and she is a beautiful person inside and out! She is so hospitable. It's as if she is welcoming you into her home. Just an absolutely lovely lady. I have tried their pizza on 3 occasions. First I was treated to a veggie slice that was very good and then I got a slice of cheese pizza at my next visit and it was Rhema's husband who waited on me and was so kind and gracious as well. That piece was also delicious. The crust tasted like garlic bread, which i loved. The 3rd visit i got a piece of Margherita pizza which was yummy as well, and that visit I was waited on by Rhema's son Abe. Also a kind and gracious young man. It obviously runs in the family!!! All in all I would highly recommend this pizza place for the delicious pizza and wonderful owners. You can't go wrong!!

Follow up review. I just had to encourage anyone looking for awesome Pizza in the Annapolis area should visit the Westfield Annapolis Mall food court and The Right Slice Pizza. Me and both of my adult children had lunch there today and their cheese pizza is spot on. It's like eating a wonderful cheese pizza but also garlic bread at the same time. You cannot go wrong if you visit The Right Slice you will not be disappointed ! We also once again got extraordinary service from Rhema and would not hesitate to go there very soon again!”

“Went on a Sunday afternoon. Not busy at all. Wife and I decided to do an early Valentine’s Day date. The food was phenomenal. We decided to do the whole experience. The open buffet was great. A lot of options and all tasted great. The plantains and one of the pastas they had was very good. Great service from all the people going around with the meats. One that stood out was Robert he was very friendly and very attentive to the guest and what we wanted. We told him how we wanted the meat cooked and which one and he was on it! The server was awesome too always coming around the check on us. The desserts was very delicious. We are definitely coming back”

The lady who greeted us was kind and moved swiftly when we asked if we could sit outside with a fire pit. they got the table set up and brought us extra blankets to make sure we were super comfortable (it was about 50 degrees outside). Between the heated lamp above head and fire pit at the table, we were surprised at how warm we actually felt. Rory was our server and he was so nice, knew the menu and specials, and helped us narrow down what to order. he regularly checked on us in between brining out food. Speaking of food.., the STAR OF THE SHOW. crab dip was 10/10. brussel sprouts were 10/10. fried lobster tails were 10/10. salmon salad was 10/10. bread pudding was 10/10. i kept waiting for an average item to be brought out and it never happened !!! i just went last night and already have it on my calendar to go with family in 2 weeks!”

“What a beautiful inn! Located right in the center of everything with plenty of excellent dining choices. Room was comfortable but a tad small as I had ordered a standard double. My friend had a king which was superb. We used valet service at the Governor Calvert Inn which is also where you check in. I would definitely stay here again. Such a wonderful stay!”

But I did not appreciate the way an older lady treated our young server. Either she owns the place or she's the manager. She definitely needs to work on her interpersonal skills. Other than that, Nam's Pho is an excellent place to have delicious Asian food.”

“My friend and I went to dinner to the Galway Bay Irish Restaurant and Pub tonight. It was cozy and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. I'd love to go back during one of the live music evenings.

We had the minted peas and corned beef appetizers- delicious! Next came our Shepherds Pies, which were also wonderful. We definitely enjoyed the food.

So now the bad part- our waitress (petite, long dark hair, no name tag) was terrible. She took our order and disappeared. Our appetizers finally showed up (brought by someone else) and we flagged down a different waitress for glasses of water because our bar drinks still hadn't come. Yet another person brought our entrees and we asked him about our drinks. Our waitress finally showed with our drinks... we literally hadn't seen her for half an hour. This bad service was during a non-crowded evening. What is the service like when it's busy?”

Tony and all the employees went above and beyond since the second we walked in the door from explaining the menu to making sure the kid menus had tattoos and then the mission behind the name. Definitely stop in and check them out. Food was great and the service and mission are better.”

“I go to toastique a couple times a week and today when I placed my order, I did it incorrectly. But, because staff recognized my name and knows my order they were able to catch the mistake.... they actually called me and made sure I wanted my usual despite what my mobile order said. I was absolutely shocked and so pleased they decided to check with me... I have a dairy allergy and mixing up the milk could cause me major issues. Luckily, because of their attention to detail and knowing my name and order, they caught it. If that's not AH-MAZ-ING customer service, I dont know what is! Great job!!! And thank you again!”

“I have been a patron at McGarvey's for years. I love your food and service. However, first time I have a complaint. I was anxious to try the crab balls, as pictured in your menu. Although they weren't horrible, they looked nothing like the picture on your menu, very disappointed. I expected pieces of white crab meat and we got very crusted, fried little round balls. I bragged to my grandson about the picture on your menu and it was certainly not what we got. I must say, it is the first thing I have been disappointed with. Either change the picture or take them off your menu.”

My boyfriend got the ribeye steak and he said it was one of the most tender steaks he ever had. Have no complaints. If we come into town again we will definitely be eating here again.”

There were only a few indoor seating options which was fine but I think the person trying to work was annoyed at the amount of people. So great place to come and enjoy but maybe not the quiet work space if you’re looking for that.”

“Love CPK when I'm in Annapolis. Went last Wednesday night and it was VERY Disappointing. I usually get the Waldorf chicken salad with Shrimp on top. I explained to the waitress , who must of been new, what I wanted. My sister and I get the Full Waldorf salad and split it. Two dishes come with the salad, one for each of us. This girl brought the salad and 2 very small plates. Never offered us any cracked pepper and never asked us if we wanted refills for our drinks, we had to ask. The salad had too much dressing so that it was drenched, the salad was wilting. Also they used the wrong dressing and the ingredients were few. We saw that she was shorthanded because she seemed rattled. Not very good all around. Hope this doesn't happen again. I sometimes take 3-4 people their at a time and don't want a repeat of this.”

“I would like to share how lovely last night's private chef meal experience was with The Bell House Catering on 03/16/24. A dear friend arranged a small gathering of some of my closest friends & family for a going away dinner. My husband & I are moving out of state after living in Maryland for 40 years. This dear friend Nancy arranged for a "My Favorite Things" dinner to wish us farewell. We had the best beef tenderloin & salmon, accompanied by roasted mushrooms & various colored peppers & onions w/ Bearnaise sauce; served with a beet salad & goat cheese; green salad with avocado, walnuts, cucumber & Violet petals. We finished the meal with an amazing chocolate cake with espresso buttercream frosting. There were other accompaniments with the dessert ~ 2 different wafer cookies and a Petit fours. Each dish was announced & served on gold plates by Chef Kelly herself, along with chef Michael. I felt like I was in heaven. Thank you to the Brien Family for such a gesture of love, and for my friends that made time to be there. It was a beautiful evening. We love you and are grateful for you. “Level is our favorite spot in Annapolis! It’s perfect for a romantic date night or for a casual dinner, you can truly dress up or down and fit in here. The food is always amazing, even our family (who can be tough critics) were very happy with their food choices. The menu rotates a little seasonally and it’s always fun to try the new items and revisit the permanent items. The cocktails are super creative and you can’t really go wrong with any of them! Some of our current favorites: Harvest Mule, Agave Please for drinks and for food… house fries, tuna poke, ribs, brussel sprouts, and the oysters! Crab Mac and cheese is a must if it’s on the menu! Oh and don’t forget to leave room for dessert, we love all the choices but banana bread pudding is our favorite! 11/10 love coming here.”

The building is beautifully decorated with various Hawaiian plants and flowers, offering a safe and comforting environment for customers to enjoy. “I had the taco special for the day. Three tacos for $10 that came with a side of red sauce and a side of green sauce. I got one al pastor, one chicken y one steak. The steak was good but definitely had a couple chewy pieces but would still eat about 10 of them if I could. The chicken was also good but the al pastor was sensational. It had a lot of flavor and richness cut by the sweetness of the pineapple. The two sauces were good, although I couldn't tell you which one was hot because I dumped them on and ate everything so quickly, my mouth got hot before I could identify what made it hot lol The tacos were each made with two flour tortillas that looked like they were partially pan fried. So they had a little crispiness but still maintained chewiness so they had a little. The service was friendly and very fast. I rated the atmosphere a three because it's a parking lot of gas station. I'm not sure how to do that justice. Anyways, I will be returning. Very good at that price point.”
