Emily was great from start to finish and helped me make a good menu. I asked for the order to be ready by 1030am and they made it happen. Everyone loved the food. You don't win friends with salad. “I wanted a good steak for my birthday and I immediately jumped on google.. I came across Lewnes Steakhouse and read the reviews. We dined there yesterday for my birthday. From the time we walked in until the time we left everything was great! The food was very delicious and our steaks were cooked to perfection as requested. The waiter was very attentive and checked on us multiple times. The complimentary brownie with fudge and Ice-cream was mouthwatering. We will be returning soon.”

“My friend and I went to dinner to the Galway Bay Irish Restaurant and Pub tonight. It was cozy and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. I'd love to go back during one of the live music evenings.

We had the minted peas and corned beef appetizers- delicious! Next came our Shepherds Pies, which were also wonderful. We definitely enjoyed the food.

So now the bad part- our waitress (petite, long dark hair, no name tag) was terrible. She took our order and disappeared. Our appetizers finally showed up (brought by someone else) and we flagged down a different waitress for glasses of water because our bar drinks still hadn't come. Yet another person brought our entrees and we asked him about our drinks. Our waitress finally showed with our drinks... we literally hadn't seen her for half an hour. This bad service was during a non-crowded evening. What is the service like when it's busy?”

“I had a rehearsal dinner for 97 people including 11 children and a welcome party after for about 100 people. The food was outstanding and the service was exceptional! The children loved the pizza! Taylor, the event coordinator, made this a five star event in every category including STRESS FREE for me being I live in New York! My son and now daughter in law said it couldn’t have been better! Their wedding was on Gibson Island the next day so it was a great start to the weekend!”

“I attended the Sip and Paint Night, which was great fun, outside on the patio on a lovely evening. Having done a few of these in other places, this was one of the best I have attended. (I am no artist, trust me). The instructors were awesome, easy going and fun to work with and they had nice quality brushes and paints - which helps immensely. The wine was delicious. Our server graciously worked around the paint, canvases and brushes to deliver a very nice charcuterie board. I recommend for anyone looking for a low stress break in the routine.”

“We went to Stoney River Steakhouse for my husband's birthday with our adult son. The venue has a quiet, rustic elegance and the staff are absolutely wonderful! Our waitress was very helpful, informative, pleasant and professional. We wanted a place to go for an elevated, relaxing celebration and Stoney River more than delivered. The food was absolutely perfect and the atmosphere lent itself to lovely, cozy conversations with it's My guys each had a steak meal and I had the cedar plank salmon and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.”

The lady who greeted us was kind and moved swiftly when we asked if we could sit outside with a fire pit. they got the table set up and brought us extra blankets to make sure we were super comfortable (it was about 50 degrees outside). Between the heated lamp above head and fire pit at the table, we were surprised at how warm we actually felt. Rory was our server and he was so nice, knew the menu and specials, and helped us narrow down what to order. he regularly checked on us in between brining out food. Speaking of food.., the STAR OF THE SHOW. crab dip was 10/10. brussel sprouts were 10/10. fried lobster tails were 10/10. salmon salad was 10/10. bread pudding was 10/10. i kept waiting for an average item to be brought out and it never happened !!! i just went last night and already have it on my calendar to go with family in 2 weeks!”

“What a beautiful inn! Located right in the center of everything with plenty of excellent dining choices. Room was comfortable but a tad small as I had ordered a standard double. My friend had a king which was superb. We used valet service at the Governor Calvert Inn which is also where you check in. I would definitely stay here again. Such a wonderful stay!”

Other than that, Nam's Pho is an excellent place to have delicious Asian food.”

“I go to toastique a couple times a week and today when I placed my order, I did it incorrectly. But, because staff recognized my name and knows my order they were able to catch the mistake.... they actually called me and made sure I wanted my usual despite what my mobile order said. I was absolutely shocked and so pleased they decided to check with me... I have a dairy allergy and mixing up the milk could cause me major issues. Luckily, because of their attention to detail and knowing my name and order, they caught it. If that's not AH-MAZ-ING customer service, I dont know what is! Great job!!! And thank you again!”

Although they weren't horrible, they looked nothing like the picture on your menu, very disappointed. I expected pieces of white crab meat and we got very crusted, fried little round balls. I bragged to my grandson about the picture on your menu and it was certainly not what we got. I must say, it is the first thing I have been disappointed with. Either change the picture or take them off your menu.”

We ate Christmas lunch/dinner at SHIKA sushi &ramen and it was awesome! They really saved the day for us. We are usually 4-6 rolls feasters so thought we’d just start with 3 and go from there. 3 was plenty! The rolls were massive and delicious. The service was great. Poor lady had to fill my water like 10 times. And they sealed the deal with a free piece of cheesecake! Entire meal came in about $50! Highly recommend you go check them out! Cheers!”

“I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Looks like a bookstore from the outside, but guess what?! Well. It kind of is a bookstore. Because it’s IN a bookstore. But that’s part of its charm. The coffee is great, obviously. And they have tea. Just don’t you dare ask for chamomile. Or if you’re feeling playful, you can always get some hot choccy. They’re always playing great music too. A fantastic atmosphere. I go in every single day with my laptop to do some work and I swear, I accomplish more in one hour than a college kid on Adderall cramming at 4am for an 8am final. The real absolute rockstar of the show, though, is Madison. I think she might actually be superhuman. Once I ordered something and she told me no, I don’t want that, and then made me something else. And you know what? She was absolutely right. It’s like she was able to take her hand and reach it into the deep, dark recesses of my soul and somehow know more about me and what I want than I’ve ever known about myself my whole life. I will never question her on anything again. If you’re in Annapolis for even just one day, this place is a must stop. Just don’t come when I’m there, I’m trying to get some work done.”

“Love CPK when I'm in Annapolis. Went last Wednesday night and it was VERY Disappointing. I usually get the Waldorf chicken salad with Shrimp on top. I explained to the waitress , who must of been new, what I wanted. My sister and I get the Full Waldorf salad and split it. Two dishes come with the salad, one for each of us. This girl brought the salad and 2 very small plates. Never offered us any cracked pepper and never asked us if we wanted refills for our drinks, we had to ask. The salad had too much dressing so that it was drenched, the salad was wilting. Also they used the wrong dressing and the ingredients were few. We saw that she was shorthanded because she seemed rattled. Not very good all around. Hope this doesn't happen again. I sometimes take 3-4 people their at a time and don't want a repeat of this.”

“I would like to share how lovely last night's private chef meal experience was with The Bell House Catering on 03/16/24. A dear friend arranged a small gathering of some of my closest friends & family for a going away dinner. My husband & I are moving out of state after living in Maryland for 40 years. This dear friend Nancy arranged for a "My Favorite Things" dinner to wish us farewell. We had the best beef tenderloin & salmon, accompanied by roasted mushrooms & various colored peppers & onions w/ Bearnaise sauce; served with a beet salad & goat cheese; green salad with avocado, walnuts, cucumber & Violet petals. We finished the meal with an amazing chocolate cake with espresso buttercream frosting. There were other accompaniments with the dessert ~ 2 different wafer cookies and a Petit fours. Each dish was announced & served on gold plates by Chef Kelly herself, along with chef Michael. I felt like I was in heaven. Thank you to the Brien Family for such a gesture of love, and for my friends that made time to be there. It was a beautiful evening. We love you and are grateful for you. “It's been a while since I've visited Rams head. I was there this time for a show. I was seated at a high table even though booths were available. Waitress was friendly but a bit slow getting drinks. I ordered the butternut squash risotto with duck. Duck was fatty. Beef marinated in herbs would've been better. A sprinkle of pine nuts on top instead of a flower I couldn't eat. Chocolate torte was a perfect serving.”

They have us a number and then brought the food to our table. The space was also a little cramped and if much busier could have been tough to sit down together. It was myself, my wife and our two kids. But there was a table and the host had great energy and made the experience even better.
The wood fired pizza was amazing and I would highly recommend Timber Pizza.
The pricing was a little steeper than fast food pizza, but it was MUCH better. We had empanadas and three different pies. One of them customized for our youngest.”

“We attended a paint night by Gina Bayne Art, hosted by Blowfish. It's a cute restaurant with a nice atmosphere. I had the furikake chicken. It was freshly cooked and delicious! I also had the Japanese cheesecake. Also super tasty. It was a great venue for our paint night. The staff was very friendly and I'm thankful for them hosting. Definitely worth a stop!”

“I had the taco special for the day. Three tacos for $10 that came with a side of red sauce and a side of green sauce. I got one al pastor, one chicken y one steak. The steak was good but definitely had a couple chewy pieces but would still eat about 10 of them if I could. The chicken was also good but the al pastor was sensational. It had a lot of flavor and richness cut by the sweetness of the pineapple. The two sauces were good, although I couldn't tell you which one was hot because I dumped them on and ate everything so quickly, my mouth got hot before I could identify what made it hot lol The tacos were each made with two flour tortillas that looked like they were partially pan fried. So they had a little crispiness but still maintained chewiness so they had a little. The service was friendly and very fast. I rated the atmosphere a three because it's a parking lot of gas station. I'm not sure how to do that justice. Anyways, I will be returning. Very good at that price point.”
