“Why this place isn't 4 or 5 stars is a shame. I would probably drive past this place 1000 times if I didn't used to live 3 mins away. Anyways I moved 20 mins away and still drive back here for this. The boneless bbq spare ribs is the best. No overly sweet fake red sauce here on top... just perfectly seasoned juicy not dry. Everything else is good. Crab rangoon filling is just right... wings daym good. What else do you want?“
“I was just there last week with a friend. It was packed and busy as always. Our server Andy was super friendly and the food was AMAZING! We ordered pork soup dumplings, pork and crab meat soup dumplings, sautéed string beans, and general tso chicken. They were sooooooooo good!!! Make sure to eat your soup dumplings with the chilli pepper oil sauce that's on the table.“
“This location is hands-down a high-quality place. I'm currently in grad school, and this place has never failed me when I order something to go. I've tried most of the main dishes and they are all great. The food has lots of flavor and is always served hot. When I order delivery, the order is always delivered quickly and the customer service is great. I highly recommend everyone in the neighborhood give this place a try.“
“We had the BEST time at brunch! Mega shoutout to our server, Bobby, who not only showed incredible hospitality but was also very knowledgeable and accommodating re:the food restrictions & allergies within our party. We could not recommend more highly!! Thank you to Bobby and the Goosefeather team! ✨“
“Best vegan food in NJ. Extensive Chinese menu and also other Asian cuisines. Just very well done, clean food. The restaurant itself is just very clean and simple nothing fancy. Food is outstanding.Vegetarian options: All vegan Chinese food and other Asian cuisine offerings.Dietary restrictions: All vegan“
“Overall, mild-taste Chinese food suitable for people who prefer lightly taste-Chinese food. Not as spicy and salty comparing to the authentic style. I enjoyed the Mapo tofu and the Dumplings but not the sweet-sour chicken (too sweet and too much batter)“
“Love this place. I’m only a few minutes away from them, and they have never been disappointed. The lady that takes the orders is super sweet. She always calls me sweetheart lol as someone who was not raised with much affection, that always makes me smile lol. good food and good people. You can never go wrong with that. The chicken and broccoli, fried chicken, rib tips, chicken fried rice, and steamed/fried dumplings are usually my go to. Haven’t had a complaint yet“
“It’s Chipotle prices for food that’s flavor and quantity wise- at least $5 more.F- any other bowl place. Why, when this spot exists ? The bespoke options are exceptional. The quality is superior. The quantity is robust. If you need flavor in your life, skip the Karen spots. Life is too short for bland food. Especially when we are all an AC unit away from falling on our heads and sending us to Elysium. Don’t walk here, run.“
“Here on a business trip from Florida. I ordered wings, Happy Family and ribs tip. When I look for chinese restaurants while traveling I look for quantity and flavor. This place has it all!! Big portions and full of flavor. The staff are very nice and helpful. I'll be returning here again before heading back to Florida.“
“Saw the spot on seamless forever, was walking by a decided to drop in for a meal. The place is clean with interesting decoration, old photographs adorn the walls. Server was friendly and quick. The steam dumplings were large but bland, needs seasoning in the filling, dipping sauce only helped a little. Beef chili noodle soup was flavorful, tender beef, peppers and noodle in a delicious light broth.“
“This place is amazing! I had the chili wontons and omg! The wonton is so juicy and the chili sauce is so tasty! Also had the fried chicken rice bowl Which was really good. The service is a bit slow because they're so busy. The ambiance is ok. No one actually sitting and eating. Luved it and can't wait to go back!“
“Great food and cute dining area, our server with the tattoos was sweet and attentive. When my friend didn’t like a certain dish they had no problem swapping it out with another noodle dish they recomendad and it was DELICIOUS. Great place and would recommend to all my vegan friends and family <3“
“This BBQ restaurant offers good flavors, though it's not spicy enough for those who prefer their food with a kick. The overall taste leans towards a sweet and spicy blend typical of Korean BBQ. It's a suitable choice for those who aren't fond of spicy food. This BBQ restaurant tastes good but not spicy enough for those who like spicy food. The overall taste tends towards the sweet and spicy taste of Korean barbecue.“
“Without question the best Chinese food in Westchester County. Everything is fresh and delicious. O'Mandarin used to be my go to until Szechuan City opened...a much better value I might add. My favorite dish is the pork with hot pepper. The sautéd pea shoots are also incredible. Give it a try, you won't be sorry.“
“Best Chinese food restaurant around! I've tried several Chinese food restaurants around the Bronx area, Manhattan "Heights", hands down this is the freshest and tastiest! They have the science to the perfect fried tostones, crispy deliciousness. Come and try and let me know what's up!“
“Never had Chinese Peruvian food before so was very intrigued. Came on a weekday night and was surprised that the store was packed. Was able to get seated quickly and they allowed us (2 people) to sit at a 4 person table which was very nice of them. - Complimentary Bread - I don't know what they put in this bread, but I was a huge fan. The bread was so soft and hot... and with the butter, it was just perfection. I also loved the crust as it was very flaky and crisp. I could just eat this as a whole meal and be happy. - Lomo Saltado (Beef) - I was not a big fan of the fried rice on the side but this was one of the best Lomo Saltado I've had in the city. The tomatoes and onions were cooked to perfection as they were very soft and packed with flavor. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The beef was also very tender but crispy at the same time. - Chinese Style Squid Fried Rice - Not a big fan. Feel like there was a strong oily after-taste like the fried rice in the Lomo Saltado. I did appreciate how many ingredients there were, but it didn't feel very appetizing. Overall, would just recommend the bread and the Lomo Saltado if you do come here. Also, I have to say that it's refreshing to watch all the servers play around, it made me very happy to know that they all are great friends with one another.“
“Love the Food & the person who Takes the orders is Pleasant, I live on Gunhill& been here a few times just for the food.. I had ~ Wings,General Tso chicken ,fried pork Dumplings ,egg fried rice in all the orders. EVERYTHING WAS GOOD!! I will return for sure.Parking: There’s a parking lot front in front. Also street parkingKid-friendliness: There’s space to sit & eatWheelchair accessibility: No steps. Which is great!“
“This place is really good. The lunch specials have a generous amount of meat.. probably around 10 shrimp for fried rice whereas other places give 5! I’ve enjoyed the lavender milk tea, black fungus, and hot and sour soup. Staple Chinese food.“
“We met with friends at this place for lunch. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. we were warmly welcomed by the staff members and we felt good. The meal was fresh and delicious. We loved this spot very much and we shall absolutely come back again. Keep it up.“
“Food 9/10Absolute FIRE. We ordered a lot of food, including the cumin lamb hand-pulled noodles, some dumplings, and overall it was an extremely filling meal. One portion lasted me multiple meals. The noodles were perfectly bouncy and QQ, the amount of meat they put in each bowl was way more than I had expected. Even though it was delivery, it still tasted very fresh. Bursting with flavor and texture. I would definitely recommend, can’t want to reorder from them again.Atmosphere and Service: N/A“
“Been going to this restaurant for over 30 years! Love everything about this place even the outdated decor and bathroom.Kid-friendliness: Kids do not bother them and they are really cool about bringing extra plates for sharing. I’ve never had an issue.“
“Our waiter, Christian, was so attentive and polite. I inquired about using my birthday rewards, and he made sure to remind me, so I could get my free dessert. We went during lunch, so you can’t go wrong with the $13 lunch and $2 add ons. The staff was very pleasant and made my dining experience enjoyable!“
“Merryland Buffet has delicious foods and a variety of choices. It is a quaint space with numerous tables and chairs. Choose your own seat. Not a great deal if customer service needed. The atmosphere is comfortable enough if you are a New Yorker who has frequented or grew up in the Bronx. Eorth stopping in for a meal, reasonablyvpriced for a Buffet.“
“This place may look somewhat run down, but don't be fooled. The food is good and the service is friendly. It's worth a visit for some nice takeout.Parking: Street parking can be sparse, depending on the time of the day/week. But the (metered) municipal parking lot at the corner of Lockwood Ave. is very close.“
“Wow I have been missing out! This is going to be our new go to soup dumpling place in fort Lee!! We got the pork soup dumplings, sesame chicken and the fried rice!! Also the scallion pancakes!! We're talking about going back tomorrow for more. So good! Also service is quick and efficient! Will be back!“
“Food was really good, I ordered ahead and it was ready when I arrived. Parking was located in the back however.Vegetarian options: Decent variety of food optionsParking: Parking is located in the rear of the building and road parking is located on is a one way side street“
“My husband and I come here all the time, great customer service, cleanliness and food is superb, my husband always order the steamed beef and broccoli, I normally order the steamed vegetables with white rice and garlic sauce on the side. They never disappoint, will continue to come here.“
“As a New Yorker when someone suggests going out for Chinese you would normally assume, and rightfully so, that you'll end up ordering from a "hole in wall" fast food spot.Kai isn't that. It's a sit down place where you just enjoy your food in a peaceful atmosphere. The pricing was ok, but it was NYC so it was to be expected. The food however is worth the cost. Consider it something like take-out plus, Chinese food with a twist. And it is not just "Chinese" food, under the category of "Asian fusion" their menus are a little bit from the many color cultures of the East. Come for sushi, get some hot sake alongside it, with some wings and soup.It was a great place, relaxing, the music was tame and not in your face, and the staff seemed to have grown on us as time went by.Bring your family, or friends, or maybe just by yourself and have yourself some of that classic food we New York's associate as Asian.“
“Food is always so good. I travel a hour just to come here and have a GREAT DELICIOUS MEAL. Their chicken wings are big and nice and flavorful. Their house special rice is to die for. Egg food young Soooo good…. Their rib tips are FIRE ? OMGOSH THE LIST GOES ON The staff are always so welcoming. I love this place definitely 10/10 recommend“
“Been coming here for atleast 30 years. But since the young lady left, which has been here for atleast 25 years. Not how it used to be. The only chinese food i eat is from them. Best to call and place order. They are always crowdedParking: Very narrow street. Always have to double park“
“The sliders may be the wrong kind of simplicity, not fulfilling an obvious niche when everything from White Castle to Ye Olde Gentrified Microbrew's $32 truffle burger offers more adornments to their beef. But the butter noodles seem more valuable if you're just in the mood for sauce; the Thai curry was a decently spicy coconut-based concoction. The wings were enjoyable. As an occasionally overloud advocate of chicken with bones, I applaud the option to get wings with a general Tso's sauce. Other options including Buffalo and teriyaki.“
“Arguably the best prices around, especially the lunch special. Very accommodating and very polite up front. Food is delicious and the portions are excellent. Cannot recommend this place enough.Vegetarian options: General Tso’s Tofu is a great vegetarian option.“
“Great place for two or the fam and even a party of 20! First time my family and I came to this place. We waited like 15 min instead of the 30 the waiter said we would wait and then we were seated. Like any other food buffet, we ate and we ate and we ate! Wow the food was so good! It was fresh and tasty! The waiters always make sure everything is clean and the food is hot. The ambiance is nice with the colored lights and beautiful painted ceilings. The bathroom is a big one for me but surprisingly it was super clean! So good job!!! The variety of food is crazy! There is so much to choose from. Basically something for literally everyone. It’s my daughter’s birthday and I let the waiter know and she was so nice to get her a cupcake with a candle that she was able to blow out , take a pic and feel special. I will most def go back here with my mom and friends. Did I mention all 3 of us ate and only spent 70$! On a Sunday! The buffet i usually go to called the queens buffet which is ok we pay way more! Highly highly recommend this place! Waiting is not long, service and prices are great!“
“My husband and I had the green pepper steak with yellow rice and an avocado salad and he had a a nutty punch (I ? that's what is called) and I had a coconut mojito. My son had crispy shrimp (10) with yellow rice. My daughter had French fries and fruit punch. It was a flawless meal for everyone! Everything was flavorful, the sauce in the pepper steak is the best in the city (flornde mayo standard). This new location was spacious and comfortable, not as tight as at 101 (the og location) even though it's is smaller. The gentleman that makes the drinks and waited on us was wonderful (I forgot his name bc of his drinks ?) he was attentive and made some good drinks. one drink was all I needed to fail a straight line test to the restroom, not drunk but definitely tipsy. My husband had another lol.Tip** Don't forget to order the spicy sauce that comes with the half a chicken, its amazing!Overall we had a great dinner, kids were happy and we were happy. We will go this spot more often it's closer to home and the food is still amazing.Oh and when you order the kids a fruit punch, it's real juice mixed together (used for the sangria I believe).Kid-friendliness: One of the hostesses was amazing to my 2 kids age 3 and 11. She was very thoughtful and was so kind, she even went to the store and brought them candy! I mean not 2, a bag full with two of everything, one in pink, one in blue. From kinder to gummies, ring pops and sour straws. So, she is either is really sweet or hates parents ? but seriously I was in awe out of 40yrs in NYC I have never received such consideration and such a genuinely nice gesture/and such above and beyond customer service.“
“My first time ordering from this location was a sesame combo and a spare ribs combo before the new year. The food was so delicious I forgot to take a picture of my food before eating. I will definitely be back. The restaurant is clean, the staff were very nice and the food was absolutely delicious and hot upon pick-up. You also don't have to worry about parking, infinite parking at this location.“
“I visted Tasty House on 9/30/23. I purchased a sesame chicken with brown rice combination plate as well as a pint of broccoli in garlic sauce! I also had chicken wings, which were plump and juicy. The food was delicious and their staff is always friendly, no matter how busy they might be.“
“I think it's a pretty good place. The fifth star is off because delivery options through the restaurant are spotty. The website is incredibly easy to use for ordering. The staff is extremely friendly. We will continue to order from them at least once a month.“
“so good! They have a ton of jjajang options, and their sweet and sour pork is perfectly balanced. Our usual spot was closed early so we ended up at HBJ, which we ended up liking more!Kid-friendliness: There were kids when we were here, and the place is for all ages as long as you like food :)“
“Crispy Bamboo Village has always been one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. It is a great option when you need your lunch or dinner to take out. Delivery is also an option using any of the apps available but being so close to my home, I prefer to pick up the food. The service is fast if you consider the large number of orders that they receive by phone, which you can listen to ringing while waiting for your dishes. The quality of the dishes and their prices are not comparable with any fast food if customers take into account the time of preparation, the balance of the ingredients offered (including vegetables and meats), and the flavors that, different from a burger or hot dog , results difficult to replicate at home. Remember, the restaurant is only to take out.Crispy Bamboo Village has always been one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. It's a great option when you need to bring your lunch or dinner. “In 2024, it feels like a Chinese food war has broken out in the food alley of Palpac Koreatown. Invincible Jjambbong is a new company, but both the taste and service were good. For those who like Jjajang with a lot of seasoning and a lot of oil and stir-fried onions, the Gan Jjajang here may have different tastes as it pursues the original taste of Gan Jjajang a little more.“
“This was my first time going here . The chicken wings were good and so is the chicken and broccoli . Their bbq sauce is flavorful. Food was tasty , fresh and service was great . Establishment was very clean as well . Not the norm in this area but they went above and beyond . I will go back a second time . :)“
“I used to come here years ago when I lived in the area... Went back after about 8 years and man was the food still delicious. Still got stickey rip tips with bbq, the chicharron de pollo with the black garlic sauce is just great! Not to mention the pork fried rice and general tso's chicken was also very delicious.Thank you foohing for the great food.“
“I stopped here to get something quick for dinner. I walked in and was greeted by the woman behind the counter. I took a few minutes to decide on what to order. I placed my order and paid for it. She said it would be about ten minutes but I don't even think it took that long. Shortly after sitting down she told me my order was ready and I was on my way. The food I had was good and I will order from here again. I highly recommend this place.“
“I am a harsh critic and I must say, the food here is 10/10! No frills Chinese restaurant with quick and friendly service. You can tell they really care about their customers and never got frustrated when we kept asking different questions about the menu/ sauce options. Wish we had a great spot like this in the city, authentic and very inexpensive! We got: - Orange Chicken: Delicious chicken, whole meal came out piping hot. This dish comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll. True orange flavors 9/10 - Beef and Broccoli (my fav): Crunchy broccoli that's not over cooked. Perfect beef and broccoli sauce. Comes with a side of white rice 10/10 - Hot and Sour Soup: On the more mild side of hot and sour soup, actually no kick at all, could use more white pepper but was refreshing when paired with the fried rice. Gets the job done but could use more flavoring 7/10 Will def stop by whenever in the area for inexpensive, quick, authentic eats!“
“Nice service and we love the food here. We got pot stickers (fried dumplings with pork), stir fried noodles (house special), Peking duck (the pancake was the only thing we didn’t like - they used tortilla instead of the paper thin pancakes for traditional Peking duck), and moo shu pork (also comes with pancakes). Service was great and the view was fantastic! We will try going here in the summer and try their patio facing the beautiful New York skylines. “Lin's might be my new local go-to for pan-Asian cuisine in North Bronx! My takeout order was ready for pick up within minutes, the staff was friendly, and everything was packaged perfectly. The inside was clean and spacious when I stepped in with a nice, casual atmosphere when I stepped in.As for the food, everything tasted fresh, delicious, and perfectly satisfying! I had the chicken fried rice, the spicy crunch salmon roll, the pepper tuna avocado roll, and the shrimp tempura roll. All of the rolls tasted great-- the best one being the pepper tuna for me-- and the preparation and quality really allowed the flavors to shine. However, my favorite item turned out to be the chicken fried rice. The chicken tasted just a bit caramelized for a savory, umami-rich dish that was not at all greasy. I would definitely come back just for this fried rice!Overall, Lin's was definitely worth it with the reasonable prices justifying the portion sizes and quality of the food!“
“Been eating here for almost 21 years. Have fed many families with their great food.New Golden Dragon prepares Chinese food I grew up on, in the San Francisco, CA/Bay Area.New Golden Dragon is surrounded by other restaurants. Yet, a few weekends ago, they had people - inside and out - waiting to get in - due to c19 - and the other restaurants were scarily empty. If actions speak louder than words, what does that tell ya? The other restaurants have good food too, but when you combine: price, quality, and quantity, you can't beat New Golden Dragon standards, at all!A few us consider New Golden Dragon family, since we've patronized them for so long. Enjoy!“
“Lantern to the rescue !! After nine months of living in Oradell, we had all but given up on finding a go-to spot for Chinese takeout. We gave Lantern a shot today and WE LOVED IT !!! The was tasty, clean, and the portion was hearty. It was on point. We will deff be returning - thank you !“
“I can’t say enough about this place. We have been ordering from them for 25 years. Never ever had a problem. Food is always great. We usually pick it up but get delivery every so often. The food comes so fast it’s unbelievable! And they are great about diet restrictions too!Dietary restrictions: I am on a very low sodium diet. They always accommodate me!“
“The ambiance is awesome! I highly recommend Hanami Restaurant in Cresskill. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! Special thanks to Apple, Danny, Jeff, and Bing ( sushi chefs ) . Never been disappointed as we come and dine three times a week.“
