“This place is amazing! Shea is the best, the heart and soul of Rosella. Shea guides your dining experience so you have the best meal. The avocado roll, sashimi, ceviche, all the big rolls are just amazing! You really can order anything and can expect perfection and perfect flavor combinations. “I’ve been thinking about visiting here and I finally did it days ago. It didn’t meet my expectations, also slightly pricy, but some nice things.Ramen was good but average. One a slice of bamboo and a slice of pork, and over $20.Good part for me: the pork was well seasoned and cooked! Definitely the highlight of the whole bowl. And surprisingly, soup is clean, not oily. But overall, the taste was kinda dull, no layers for me.Soft serve was delicious, barley with beautiful honey taste. But it was a little bit watery and too soft, melted really fast.“

“Delicious and reasonably priced food. We went on Saturday at 6pm. You have to scan a code to be put on a wait list. This is very convenient because once scanned, you can see your progress in line. Initially, we were told we had a 20 minute wait, but we were seated only after 10 minutes. Service was quick and efficient. I think someone posted that the food came out a little too quickly. However, that worked for us because we had an 8pm show to get to anyways. We never felt rushed at all. For $100, we enjoyed 2 orders of pork soup dumplings, 1 order of pan fried pork dumplings, the sautéed bok choy, vegetable spring rolls, shumai, beef udon noodles, 2 beers, and 2 soft drinks. The food was fresh and very tasty. We will be back!“

“A great spot in the UES for Thai. They have lots of great options - I got the Khao Soi today. The chicken is super tender and rich. The broth is creamy and bursting with flavor. I got Thai spicy level which wasn’t really that spicy to me… I love spicy food though!Decent portion size for the price for the khao soi. I think the other portion sizes are a bit smaller for the price point in my opinion.Good spot for a date or casual dinner“

“Delicious food and great atmosphere! After a long day of running around it was so nice to sit down and have a great meal where everyone around you is having a fun time! We started out with the Scallion Pancake and Vegetable Dumplings. I don't eat Scallion Pancakes very often because most places don't make it very well. Joe's Pancake was perfection! Cooked just right with layers of flavors. The Dumplings were light and fresh. For our main course we had Chicken with Broccoli and Sauteed Crystal Shrimp. Both were delicious and very generous portions. It was the first time I had had the Crystal Shrimp and I couldn't stop eating them. The Staff was very nice and we felt very well attended to but not overly so. We are really looking forward to returning so we can try some dishes that we have never had before.“

“Came here for a birthday dinner and absolutely loved it! Because we had a large group we did the pre-fixe menu and it comes with a tonnnn of food, all amazing! I wish I had taken more pictures but standouts include the cold sesame noodles, popcorn chicken, and lettuce wraps among others. The service was excellent and their drink selection is quite good! I wish I had tried some of the cocktails but I was also perfectly content with my glasses of orange wine. I would love to come back again and try out other items on the menu!“

“Yum yum yummm. As a Taiwanese person, I loveeee the basil mayo sauce with the large popcorn chicken. It’s a total delight after a long workout at the climbing gym too. I also reccomend the ru rou fan (marinated pork) on a bed of rice a with half an egg and scallions“

“Hi all! Yesterday we ordered three lagmans to take with us and were absolutely delighted!!! I've definitely never tried this before! It was truly amazing!!! The portions are large and I thought about not eating it all at once, but I couldn’t stop myself? Very nice service. We were treated to tea, and they also close at 9, but they waited for us for half an hour, thank you very much for that!? I’ll definitely be back ?“

“Super hole in the wall spot I stumbled upon randomly - I sat at the counter right up against the kitchen, which offered a nice view of the prepping process. Ordered the chili garlic noodles, which were pretty spicy as advertised! Don't come here expecting a super authentic taste, but the influence is certainly there. Didn't blow my mind, but I thought it was a fair value for the large portion of fresh veggies, and everything was cooked very nicely! Service was super friendly, and it's honestly quite amazing the amount of dishes they churn out with such a tiny kitchen and three-persons-staff. I will say the vibes were a little confusing with the predominantly southeastern Asian menu, anime on the tv, and Kpop music playing lol. Also, the place could use better ventilation - was left with my clothes smelling heavily of food.“

“Went here last weekend to have lunch with our daughter who goes to St. Johns. Parked right on the corner (Metered ) no parking lot for those wanting to know. Mostly college crowd. “The food was delicious!!!! A friend told me that it would be very spicy, but I didn’t find it to be so. (Definitely had a zip to it but not too extreme) Service was attentive and pleasant. “Extremely authentic Cantonese noodle shop. The noodles were very fresh and almost crunchy. Soup base was good, and the shrimp dumplings were huge and tender. “This was my first time here and absolutely loved it. It’s got a nice casual atmosphere, friendly servers, and large portions of great food. I started with the crispy spring rolls which were decent but it was the pho that really did it for me. These are some large bowls so you’re definitely getting value here. But they don’t sacrifice quality - the broth was super flavorful with perfectly cooked noodles and lots of tender meat. I usually get the pho my first time at a Vietnamese place but really want to come back to try their banh xeo which is pretty rare to find in NYC.“

This time it was served hot, which I didn't like as much. Recommend ordering with standard rice noodle btw (not vermicelli as shown in photo). Also tried my friend's pork blood broth noodle soup which I didn't like much, but might be an acquired taste, and really enjoyed the pork meatball skewer!Keeping 5-stars for excellent food and service!“

“Got the mushroom udo noodles! I liked that the noodles were hand pulled, and the seasonings were pretty solid. It was good food but I feel like could be better, especially for the price they charge. “Bangklyn is without a doubt one of the tastiest and most unique restaurants in the city. The food is amazing and fresh, especially the fried chicken. “The quality of broth is great, and always consistent but lately the Chachu pork slices have been getting smaller and smaller . This time I realize it wasn’t only smaller in size but thinner and fattier .. the fat was almost 50% of both pieces . This is unacceptable and disappointing.“

“As you walk in the Restaurant, you immediately get a homey atmosphere in this place! The food was served very quickly. The Authentic Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup is excellent as the broth is very thick and flavorful. The beef that they use is half tendon half meat, which is the best combo that a merchant can use when preparing this dish! Overall, the food is excellent! I would definitely come back again!As a bonus, their pickled cabbage and peanuts side dish are excellent too!“

“Fantastic small Vietnamese restaurant, with great food, even better service and ok seating. For a small location, they made good use of their limited space and they communicate regularly if the food will be delayed. My only small complaint would be probably due to the kitchen being so close and the ventilation not being great, our clothes had the food smell afterwards but I won't take a star off since it wasn't too bad. I know their prices will go up eventually but their current price for their food quality is hard to beat.“

“We came here with Mommy a while back. It was lunchtime. They had a line to enter the restaurant. Wow, that must be good. We ordered a whole Peking duck, pan-fried noodle seafood, sauteed pea leaves in garlic sauce, and fish filet with mushroom. I enjoyed the fish filet and sauteed pea leaves, which were the best dishes. Peking Duck was not bad and the seafood pan-fried noodle was so-so. However, Peking Duck was less crisp than the place I had in Chinatown. In short, everything was delightful! If we return, I really want to get that pea leaves again. This vegetable rock! Fish filets differed from what I had expected. One thing about Peking Duck is that they gave unlimited buns to eat with, but there wasn't much meat left because they filet the duck without leaving the bones for the customers. It's better to order a few filets of Peking duck rather than a whole duck. The place is a huge, two-floor restaurant. We had a table downstairs, which was pretty spacious from one table to the other. We'll return to try some other dishes and vegetables. Nice!“

“My partner and I have been coming to Susuru, more or less once a week, for about a year now. It’s « our spot » we love it. We get the same order every time, miso ramen and spicy tuna poke. I usually get a lucky cup sake as well. We love the takoyaki as well, but all their apps are great. The atmosphere is incredible. We love the going on a quiet, rainy day around lunch time.“

Customer space includes a limited number of tables, tables rather thin, compressed, best fit for only two seated diners; crowded with dishes. Only two other diners are present this afternoon, seated nearby, one wearing friendly NYU labeled pants. Diners hunger for presence of more diners! Ambience: too quiet, not much happening. Other than nice plants it's rather bland, confined. The interior surroundings, the waitpersons, and to some extent the food have moderate unique vibe. Sofun, try to find a balance of these aspects. We experienced the tasty combo of the chilled rice noodles with carrots, cucumber, peanuts and bean sprouts; century egg salad with grilled pepper and eggplant; inviting historical Durian puff pastry dessert; and black salted egg custard bun. 'These look beautiful and have pleasant smells. A peaceful, not noisy, aura emerges, unusual because no loud music splashes one's ears and no unique waitpersons, often present in eateries, run up and down the space. After passing so many "loud," demanding noisy signs, businesses, etc. via Manhattan on the way to Sofun, the mini restaurant is a quiet contrast to the screaming business advertisements on the streets from competitive, demanding midtown Manhattan island endroits. Experience the quasi delicate repose at Sofun albeit also the accompanying empty feeling. Hope that Sofun doesn't become even one bit more tiny.“

Decided to give this place a try vs my usual spot (Ten Seconds Noodle) and it did not disappoint. In comparison, the broth felt more healthy and nutrient at Deng Ji Yun Nan with the added herbs. The menu is quite large but well presented with plenty of photos for reference. I liked how spacious the interior was with all the light wooden accents.“
