“Salvo’s is a quaint, yet, handsome paninoteca that truly offers Italian panini. They’re not serving seven different meats on one sandwich, but instead you’ll get classics with house made aioli and pestos that you really wouldn’t get unless you’ve been over to the boot itself. The atmosphere is lively but just quiet enough to actually be able to chat with the person next to you. The staff are incredibly kind from front of house to back. We have a new institution that is here to stay for many years. This is what we call home. Forza Juve. Forza Salvo himself.”

“Low key might be your best slice in Bushwick/Ridgewood. It bests Robertas and Ops easily yet doesn't get the hype of either of the latter. They also have better appetizer options like a mint watermelon salad that we devoured before taking a picture. The pizza hits all the marks of a good pie and then goes a step beyond with a similar price point to Robertas. This is a great spot that's out of the was but absolutely worthy of the trip.”

“We've passed this restaurant so many times and always said we've wanted to try. I'm so upset at myself that we didn't try it sooner. Firstly our waitress (sorry didn't get her name) was so friendly and we enjoyed small talk. Ordered fry rice and half chicken. It has to be the best we've ever had. The green sauce that comes with the food is so delicious. We will definitely be back more often and try different things on the menu.”

“The iced Raices here is sublime. The baristas here take their craft seriously and you can really see them enjoying making every drink. Watching them make the drinks, do latte art, decorating the iced drinks, was inspiring. They are masters of their craft. Not to mention how amazing and sweet everyone is plus the wide open yet minimalist space that takes up this cafe. “The food is a 10/10, I love the food here. But the coffee is lacking. The baristas just don't have the best training. Shots come out very watery or bitter. Milk is always over heated which burns the sugars in the milk making it taste bad. This place could be a 10/10 so it makes me really upset to see this one area be weak.”

“Place been here forever. My kids really wanted ice cream while I was passing by I saw they had Gelato in the window so my kids wanted to try it. I wasn't expecting much but it was extremely good. My son said that was the best vanilla he ever had and so flavorful. Now he asks for it everyday. Also reasonably priced. I was very impressed. I got the hazelnut and biscotto it was sooooo good.”

“This cake was fantastic!!! The pic isn’t as pretty because I accidentally knocked off some strawberries in transit (not their fault — it was perfect at first haha), but boy did it taste delicious. We got a tres leches cake with vanilla custard, walnuts, and strawberries. It was a hit.

“I realized I’ve never left a review despite ordering from here for YEARS. E-chiban has some of the best sushi in town for quality and price. It’s one of the few places I get delivery from and the quality and portion size is always great. Their prices have gone up, but I do feel with how much they give you it’s worth it (especially the salmon sashimi dinner)! Their delivery driver (Mok?) is always so kind, remembers my name and order, and is great at his job. It’s nice being a regular here. I’ve tried other places nearby and they don’t come close imo.”

Here is why: Staff - 10 (they were great and very friendly and accommodating to our needs) Security - 10 (professional and approachable and friendly) Space - 8 (great for the baby shower I attended and big enough for anything you could possibly want to do) Parking - 3 (only downside. Folks it's Ridgewood so you already know. But hey get there early and bring walking shoes and you will be fine) to wrap things up this space simply works. Then when you add professional and accommodating people you can't lose. I'll be back in my best terminator voice.”

“Great vibes and ambiance. A very nice change from the Brooklyn dive bars. Drinks are good and bartenders are nice, friendly, and chatty.
Only negative is if you want to play pool with a group of friends you have to win the table from a couple of pool sharks who continually own the table over and over again. So bring someone who is very good at pool or you’ll only be playing the pool sharks. Kind of lame but whatever. House rules I guess.
