To my surprise I was I was charged less than what the price stated on the menu. The chicken and the lamb were both tender and spiced just right. “Ordered food from this place to be delivered for a small special occasion and honestly, the food was pretty good. Got my food in record time and everything was nice and hot.

It was through UberEats and they had some deals. Got 2 orders of wings, chicken fried rice and coke cans each, plus an order of shanghai noodles. The flavours of the wings and fried rice were great, nicely seasoned.
Shanghai noodles were good too, flavour just was slightly different compared to other shanghai noodle dishes in other Chinese places so I wasn't into it personally. Doesn't have that dark soy sauce colour.

The whole process to get my food was 20 minutes, including the actual delivery time, which kind of scared me.

And honestly was scared to order here at first given the past reviews, but I wouldn't shy away from ordering here again. Everything I ordered was overall delicious.”

“Love the build your own platter concept of this place. Basically, Ako allows you to mix and match the sushi, sashimi and maki you're craving and charges based on the number of different items you get. Mega bonus points for this!

After looking over all the options, I chose salmon sashimi, octopus sashimi, and bbq eel sushi. Quality was pretty good, cuts were thick, and the value was insane!

Place is takeout. People are super friendly. Prices are amazing based on the quantity you get. Definitely recommend this place if you want to pick and choose good sushi without breaking the bank.”

“This 50s style diner is clearly a neighbourhood favourite. We came on a weekday for brekkie at 10am and it was busy. We quickly got a table and were pleasantly greeted and immediately brought coffee. Portion size was just enough and prices were reasonable. The turkey bacon was a little over done as were the breakfast potatoes. Maybe just an off day? I won't hold it against them. Not great for street parking as it is close to a busy intersection, but if you are able, park a little south and its much easier to park. Overall, a pleasant experience.”

The interior is nice and the place is always kept clean. The times I've been here, the food is always good. Pho is definitely worth it here.

Critiques I have of this place could be that music could be played or something, or even a radio channel. The place is kept dead silent, so the atmosphere could be very awkward if no one's talking. Or you could very much be able to eavesdrop on another table's conversation. On the off chance, the staff could be playing some Vietnamese news in the background, but that's pretty much it.
Staff could also try to be more on the friendlier side. They aren't rude, more so cold and straightforward.

Despite everything, I'd still come back here just for the food.”

“i am in the area all summer as I go to Kiwanis pool daily. I stopped in one day to get a slice and they offered veggie or pepperoni. I chose veggie and the slice was gigantic and dripping with cheese and profuse toppings! The crust was crispy and excellent and I was amazed at how great it was! I am disabled and need to use a walker and the worker at the front held the door open for me and was extremely accommodating! I have been back several times since then. I am going to try the chicken and the ribs next time. The owner is Sri Lankan and very friendly as well as his children who work there. The prices are also very good, 6.00 for a slice with pop! The restaurant was very clean also.”
