“The food was great as usual and our waitress Nehir was very friendly and attentive.”
“Thank You so much for an amazing evening November 09, 2024 at Old Avenue. The food is amazing, The Service is so attentive and quick. The Atmosphere is welcoming and you can feel the love and care from the owner the chef and the serving young people. Defiantly will go again and again to try more interesting things on the menu.”
“Loved it! Huge portions, fast and friendly service. 100% would recommend!”
“The appetizers (guacamole and chips) and tacos were phenomenal. The top sirloin tacos is a must. I look forward to coming back in the summer and sitting on the patio with friends. The other diners were Mexican, and so you know it's legit. The service was great! Thanks Jonny”

“I really liked that there were alternatives to pork which is often hard to find in Ramen spots. My Spicy Tan Tan was delicious and service was fast and friendly. Really cute decor.”
“A very pleasant dining experience. The staff was attentive and genuinely helpful in guiding us toward the right menu choices. The soup was excellent, both in flavour and portion size, and clearly prepared with care. Overall, this is an excellent option for cost-effective, delicious Chinese food. I would happily recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.”

“I just love how sweet and friendly the community is, and being able to enjoy a drink while surrounded by such a warm, welcoming Asian crowd felt so comforting and cute 💗✨”
“Sandra’s Italian Kitchen had some AMAZING options on their menu. We got the Fettuccine Alfredo Pasta and Pizza. Both were delicious and the pasta was extremely flavourful, one of the best I've had so far. The staff were very friendly and their service was efficient and excellent! Portions were filling and they were generous with tissue and cutlery as well. All their meat (Beef, Chicken and Pepperoni) is halal which is also great.”
“Great food, service and ambiance. Whenever we visit Lara's Restaurant we feel very much at home hence the reason we go back frequently and hold all our events at the restaurant. Highly recommended Seta”
“I ordered the wedding soup take out. $7.99 but the paper cup they give you is minuscule. Should be at least double the size for the price they charge. What a rip off. Too bad because I like there food overall”
“I recently had an absolutely incredible meal at sushi one and the star of the show was undoubtedly the Jjamppong! If you're a fan of spicy, flavorful seafood noodles, you need to try this place.”
“Coming back after 3 years:
The quality is top-notch. The portion is huge (even bigger than other Persian restaurants that are usually larger than the norm). Price vs portion vs quality is super competitive. I will definitely be back. The tables are limited. Reservation is recommended. Special Lamb Neck is my recommendation here.
Old comment:
Much better than what I expected. Great Kababs and better than those are their stews. I normally never order stew when we have Kabab in the menu. But, their Gheimeh stew with eggplants was one of the best I have ever had in a while. The portion size is really huge as we want to see it in a Persian restaurant. Kind and welcoming staff. I will definitely come back.”

“Was there today with my trini friend and we got doubles, veggie dhal puri, aloo pie and curry potato and channa and dhal puri. It was so good. The lady made us feel like we were back home and the food is amazing. I'll be coming back for sure. It's the Guyanese and trini ladies with the little girl that kept dropping her wallet. Lol. Thank you for the wonderful service and great food.”
“In a restaurant world dressed up with disingenuous marketing JOEY Yorkdale offers you a magnificent spot outside downtown Toronto that delivers what it promises on their home page, “Our guests, new or old, are not treated just as guests, but as if they are a good friend we are catching up with.” And this was the experience for me and my two close chums who selected this spot primarily because it was the midpoint between our diverse locations. From first arriving, the hostess took the time to offer a complimentary champagne glass and inquire if our visit that day was for a special occasion. It was a reunion and she graciously followed up with pleasant comments establishing a charming mood. When the waitress came to greet us, she also took the time to find out more about the nature of our reunion and only then flawlessly delved into the menu. I understand this is common practice at luxury restaurants; however, I would contend that, although there are dining establishments that treat patrons similarly, it is not simply about what you do but, rather, how well you do it. And this is the reason I am taking the time to write this review: JOEY does it very well. Having frequented several luxury restaurants in downtown Toronto I can anecdotally share with you that there have been far too many occasions when the host and/or server left a poor impression. Whether it is conceited complacency in their brand or even our own bigotry of unrealistic expectations, there seldom is a meeting point of both food, service, and overall impression. The treatment at JOEY was so genuine that it left an indelible impression. Each interaction with the server and hostess throughout complemented our dining experience. We were then surprised with dessert on the house presented on an expansive serving plate with the words “Happy Reunion!” written in caramel. Delicious, delicious caramel. Mmmm, but I digress… Over the years I have written to restaurants far more complaints than compliments and, in retrospect, this is unfair. It takes a team and a culture to create this magic and it can be quite challenging to get it right. When it comes together as well as it did on our visit, it is the sort of joy that can accompany you throughout your day. At JOEY they seem to have captured the right formula and I look forward to returning and catching up with “good friends” that understand that going out to eat today is about so much more.”

“Taste good but a bit too much seasoning that you feel thirsty after.”
“The restaurant, service and food at this restaurant was good. However the only downside is that the customers are literally asked to pay a tip. During this difficult period of the pandemic, it is hard to leave a tip. It should be optional but if you do not tip, you are sort of asked "why no tip". This becomes odd and the customer should be given the discretion to tip. This is the reason, I am giving 4 stars to this restaurant.”
“On September 21, 2025 my husband and i hosted a party for our 85-year-old friend. We were greeted with Happy Birthday Greetings. Our waters were never empty. Our food came on time, was delicious and hot. and all 8 of us enjoyed every chopstick full of such tasty food. Thank you to the staff that took care of every want, even a dish of ice cream dolled up for the birthday girl. Very nice treat. Thank you. Every time the service has been exceptional and caring a bit more today made it memorable for everyone Thank you.”
“We went for dinner here yesterday and it was one of the best service ever. They greeted us and served us with a smile and enthusiasm throughout. We ordered noodles and they were good. We also ordered schezuan
chicken which was very dry to our liking and when mentioned, chef made a complementary gravy for us :) Their veg fried rice also had a lot of flavour and was really good
Hidden gem - must visit”
“Found my new go-to Italian spot! Sorento Italian Kitchen nails the trifecta: big portions, high-quality food, and prices that won't break the bank. We tried the Gnocchi Alla Vodka, Tuscan pizza, arancini, and platters and the portions were massive. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and the service was friendly and fast. It’s hard to find a place these days where you actually feel like you got more than your money's worth, but this is it.”
“Joey is our go-to place for special occasions in our family. The food is always amazing no matter the location, the servings are generous, and the staff and servers are friendly without being intrusive. I really liked their high chair for little babies. It was the type that attaches to the table — it was perfect for our 10 month old!”
“Wonderful lunch experience with @Katsuya.ca definitely must try! Great food awesome staff. Thanks for a great experience”
“The food here was really good. If you've ever been to one of their other locations you know you're getting a big, tasty plate of fried chicken and it will be good. My one comaint with this location is that they don't seem to believe in heating their location! It was so cold inside.”

“I rarely put 5 star reviews for any fast food restaurants because in my experience and personal opinion they don’t often live upto 5 star expectations.
However this time around I was pleasantly surprised with this specific A&W location just west of dufferin and finch. I personally don’t love A&W but this location hit it out of the park!
When I arrived I was greeted by a staff member by the name of Charrie. Charrie made this A&W location feel kind of like home. She was incredibly helpful, caring, respectful, well spoken and kind. It was truly refreshing and amazing to be greeted and taken care of by someone like her! Not to mention all the staff working at this location presented the same time of hospitality and care like she did. 10/10 customer service and hospitality.
Now The food was freshly made to every order that went out. The staff was organised, operational and worked as a team. 10/10 food and service.
This location has no drive thru and is walk in only. No order is rushed and quality is immense.
Also 24hr open. Amazing.
Hats off to Charrie and her team!! Absolutely outstanding.”
“Take left on Clayson Road coming from wilson avenue. Drive for 5min you’ll see Upper Crust board on your left. Park your truck where it says (Don’t enter) truck and trailer are allowed though. Once you park there, walk to shipping office. Take reefer temp picture along with you. They’ll tell you your dock no. Fast loading. Enough space for back up.”
“I had an amazing experience, The meatballs and panzo were absolutely awesome, full of flavor.it's clear that a lot of care goes into their dishes.
What really made my visit special, though was the service.the new ladies working there were incredibly humble and polite.”
“The new location is excellent and the food was amazing!! The service was also top notch.”

“Amazing experience The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The service was impressively fast, and the portions were huge definitely great value for money. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. Highly recommend this doner restaurant, I’ll definitely be coming back”
“I had a great experience at Pizza Pizza on Wilson Avenue! The staff was friendly, fast, and made sure my order was perfect. The pizza was hot, fresh, and had just the right amount of cheese and toppings. I really appreciated how clean the store was and how quickly they handled everything, even during a busy time. Definitely one of the better Pizza Pizza locations in the area — I’ll be coming back for sure!”
“I got take out last night, rushing to eat before work (salad and chicken shawarma sandwich). It tasted odd... shortly after,, I called the location to tell them, something was off with the ingredients. I wasn't sure of it was the onions, turnips etc. something was left out too long perhaps... and today I am sick as a dog. I've eaten here before. I think they need better quality control on the food... especially being safely stored.. perhaps temperatures..etc”

“Bao House absolutely exceeded expectations. The deep-fried tofu is some of the best I’ve ever had perfectly light, airy, and crispy on the outside while staying soft inside. It’s not greasy at all, just beautifully cooked and incredibly satisfying.
The pan-fried dumplings were equally impressive: crisp on the bottom, tender on top, and packed with flavour. Every bite was comforting and well-balanced. And the soup dumplings deserve special mention rich, juicy, and full of depth, with delicate wrappers that held together perfectly.
You can really tell care goes into both the food and execution here. Everything we tried was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and genuinely delicious. Bao House is the kind of place that makes you want to come back and order the same dishes again and then branch out to try more. Highly recommend.”
“If you’re on the hunt for an exceptional dining experience, look no further than Noodle Legend in North York. This charming restaurant stands out for its commitment to quality and authenticity, making it a must-visit for noodle enthusiasts.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the food. The soups I sampled boasted an incredible depth of flavor, with a rich broth crafted from high-quality ingredients that truly elevate the dish. Each spoonful was a testament to the chef’s dedication to culinary excellence.
Equally noteworthy was the atmosphere. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between casual dining and refined elegance. What truly stood out, however, was the service. The staff exuded a level of professionalism that one might expect in a five-star establishment, treating each guest with genuine care and attention.
While the seating could be a touch more comfortable, this minor detail is easily overshadowed by the swift service, delicious food, and inviting environment. Noodle Legend is a hidden gem that promises a memorable dining experience, and I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a taste of quality noodles in North York.”
“We ordered birria tacos and a bbq steak burrito bowl. The tacos were warm, very juicy, and definitely not lacking with their quantity of meat. The beef was easy to eat as well, very tender. For the bowl, the sauces were good, very balanced and with the rice and other toppings. The meat was great as well. The seating area is a little limited, and it is warm, unless the doors open for incoming customers. It is a little expensive but fair for the quality and quantity of food.”
“They specialize in chicken and do it incredibly well. Ordered a whole chicken and it was delicious, came with a red sauce and garlic sauce. The fries were perfect for this meal. Loved their soup (chicken noodle AND lentil) and their cucumber/tomato salad was so fresh. Was having a bad week/month and the young lady at the counter was incredibly thoughtful. There are good people in this world!! The place inside was spotless (including the washroom). Will be back with friends. Thank you!!”
“Love visit this spot, we come here often and love it every time. The only minor criticism I have is that sometimes the staff have a bit of a language barrier so it can be hard to ask questions about ingredients or substitutions. Strongly encourage others to try this spot and recommend the brown sugar dalgona creme latte, it’s consistently a 10/10”
“Tried Simbas and overall had a good experience. For $21, I got two sandwiches (one Nashville hot chicken, one beef patty with jalapeño pickle), fries, their signature sauce, and a drink, which is a solid combo.
The fries were perfect—very similar to Costco-style fries, which is what you’d expect from a shawarma-style spot, and they didn’t disappoint. The Nashville chicken tender was juicy, well-seasoned, and paired really nicely with the coleslaw. The beef patty sandwich was also satisfying.
The place is located in a food court–style plaza, so seating feels more like a canteen. There’s plenty of free parking, which is a big plus. However, the washroom could use improvement—only one sink was working during my visit. We waited 15 minutes for the food which is pretty good pace.
Food-wise, I really enjoyed it, but pricing feels a bit high. Personally, this meal would make more sense around $15 rather than $21.
Overall, great food and solid portions, just room for improvement on pricing and facilities.”
“Stopped by The Halal Stop for lunch after visiting the Aga Khan Museum and had a great experience. The staff at the counter was polite and patient, and the place was clean, spacious, and quiet — perfect for catching up with a friend.
We ordered the Philly beef cheesesteak burger, chicken and rice, and a beef burger combo with fries. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the value for money was excellent. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. “Meet Me at The Halal Stop” is right — we’ll definitely be back!”

“Not truly wheelchair accessible. I was very much looking forward to dining here. After reading some of the other comments in the question section, we called to confirm the extent to which they are wheelchair accessible. Utterly disappointed to find out that although they have a ramp, the only accessible dining areas are if you're with one of the large groups. Meaning that as an individual with accessibility needs, I was excluded from dining at this restaurant. My accessibility needs are temporary, however you can guarantee I won't be dining at this restaurant even when I'm able to walk again, until they rectify this situation. Inexcusable to exclude people with mobility needs in this day and age.”
“I hosted my 65th birthday dinner party on Monday evening at Prime on Avenue. As a perfectionist, I am thrilled to say that the evening was flawless. The food in Arthur's fixed menu was absolutely scrumptious. He, Steve and their staff took such wonderful care of me and my guests. Having a private room with lots of natural light was wonderful. My friends and family told me afterwards that it was the best birthday party they had been to in a long time.”
“Excellent customer service. The owner, Vera, responds quickly to calls & messages and has been very acomodating for my special event. The food is exquisite, the decor, music & atmosphere is outstanding. Vera and her team has provided great customers service and will be happy to return in the future.”
“The service was very attentive. The server was kind and let us know what we were getting and what was spicy or not. Not everyone could eat spicy so they adjusted the dishes for us. The food was fresh and flavourful.”
“Great atmosphere and good food. Service ppl were courteous. They don't take reservations so be prepared for a good lineup on weekends. Highly recommend the grilled chicken cartilage!”
“Highly recommended Korean restaurant👍
Comfortable tables and chair, spacious patio area.
Great dining experience overlooking Yonge street, busy but lovely street.
Good food
Good price
Friendly and supportive servers
Should make a Google review with a photo, show the server to get free dumplings/French fries/a pop 👍”

“Passed by Downsview and found this Caribbean restaurant. We ordered the oxtail dish and a mango-carrot drink. The oxtail was flavourful with a generous portion, and the drink was refreshing. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Simple interior, but comfortable atmosphere. We’ll come back when we’re in the area.”
“I had a really lovely experience at Cozy Cafe. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax or spend time with friends. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend Cozy Cafe to anyone looking for a comfortable place with great coffee and a peaceful vibe. I’ll be coming back for sure!”
“10/10 drive-thru experience. Wish I remembered to grab the name of the wonderful lady, she was funny, in good spirits, and easily understanding of everything requested. Will be back and asking for the name of the lady to ensure she gets the recognition as the iconic figure she is”
“I was going to this store very frequently and there is a turban guy name karam and that girl name pardeep doing the amazing job and helped me many time for finding me correct food according to my taste and i am pure veg and they always make sure that every thing is veg and they both are fantastic and they even do fast work even though they are short staffed”
“Stopped by with my husband to grab some takeout, and wow—what an experience from the moment we walked in to the very last bite. Dennis, you were an absolute delight! So kind, so friendly. And letting us sample all your signature drinks before ordering? You’re spoiling us!
We went with the al pastor and carnitas tacos plus a couple gorditos… and I think I’ve finally found the authentic Mexican food I’ve been searching for. Dennis, you’re in trouble—I’m officially a regular now.
Thank you for your patience, warmth, and incredible service. Those tacos have been living rent-free in my head ever since. Can’t wait to come back—very soon!”
“Excellent Chinese restaurant, great atmosphere and delicious food, especially Lanzhou beef noodles. My girlfriend and I often lunch her, and because of the pandemic, we are now ordering delivery. Very fast, tasty and not expensive. ps. You should definitely try fried noodles, chunks of lamb, and barbecue skewers.”
“Pizza Pizza is a solid choice when you want something quick, affordable, and satisfying. The menu has a wide variety of options, from classic pepperoni pizzas to wings, fries, and even plant-based choices, so there’s something for everyone. The ordering process is simple, whether you go in-store, online, or through their app, and the service is usually fast.
The pizza itself is consistent—freshly made with a good balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings. While it may not be gourmet, it delivers exactly what you expect from a reliable chain: hot, tasty food at a reasonable price. Their dipping sauces are also a standout feature and add extra flavor to every bite.
Overall, Pizza Pizza is a dependable option for a quick meal, especially when you’re on a budget or need something convenient. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done well.”
“Today Jan 3, 2025 was my first time here. Beautifully decorated, Clean, generous size delicious baked on the premises blueberry scones, good coffee, friendly helpful staff and owner. I spent a long time working on the crossword puzzle sipping my two cups of coffee. I wasn’t rushed. Felt very comfortable. I wish them well, and I shall return for sure.”

“It’s better then KFC Cheese stick OMG🤤best I’ve ever had The spicy 🌶️ pastas ou 😋 So I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Its a wonderful place to enjoy a hearty and authentic meal. I visited with friends, and we were impressed by the fresh ingredients and rich flavors in every dish. The staff was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. I’ll definitely be coming back for more”

“Absolutely delicious food and really friendly employees. We enjoyed corned beef and pastrami sandwiches. Probably the best we’ve ever eaten. We also bought latkes, matzo ball soup and a fantastic split pea soup. Well worth the drive.”
“The best authentic Japanese sushi experience! The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. Every dish is presented like a piece of art, with rich and deep flavors that truly stand out.
Chef Teddy’s creations are always exceptional — consistently impressive every single time. This is a place I keep coming back to, and it never disappoints. Highly recommended! 🍣✨”
“The staff was lovely, the food was good!! Would def eat her again!”
“Joey is our go-to place for special occasions in our family. “Great place and staff at Barrie. Food excellent crown burger and grilled salmon with vegetables”
“It’s yummy, good service, clean and place is better than old place”
“This is our second time here, and it’s consistent! We got the Tomato cheese ramen - the cheese was torched over the chasu and it tasted so smoky and savoury. We also got the curry udon noodles that were thick and chewy, SO bombbbbb. I had a wonderful meal at this small business that’s cutely
decorated. The food and presentation was 10/10, the owner was so wonderful, sweet, and welcoming, I’ll definitely be back!”
“I just love how sweet and friendly the community is, and being able to enjoy a drink while surrounded by such a warm, welcoming Asian crowd felt so comforting and cute 💗✨”
“Highly recommend: The Knafeh. It’s my favorite Middle Eastern dessert, and I love that they serve it on a hot cast iron plate to keep it warm. Although the texture of the phyllo pastry was a bit too thin, so it became soggy quite quickly as the ice cream melted, which was a bit of a letdown.
Overall: It’s a very cute cafe with a nice atmosphere, and a great option if you’re looking for a spot that stays open late!”
“Great food, great vibes, great staff. They accept all kinds. Try to bring cash for payment. Dven though I’m Caucasian they gave me chop sticks. Felt like I fit in.”
“Very good experience! Had a fantastic waitress and food was excellent”

“Mina was fantastic, very friendly and enthusiastic, she walked me through the menu and was extremely attentive and so helpful. Everything was fantastic, from the hot freshly made pita bread, to the delicious hummus and the tawuk (chicken breast) which was tender and juicy. The rice was flavourful and the crispy onions added to how unique and delicious it all was.”
“Tried Korean pizza for the first time. It tasted pretty good. I love how they have a huge variety of flavours to choose from, including adding toppings into the crust. However it is a bit more pricey than others. We also enjoyed the grilled chicken.”
“Loved this place, came with my family and the service was amazing . The food was to die for. And they honestly were really amazing with my kids. I know it’s hard to take your family out sometimes and sometimes you share what you all have. But how they treated us so amazing with sharing the meal with my family of 4, and we only ordered 2 meals. And the waitress was so amazing because my kids really wanted tot try the ice cream but it wasn’t in the budget… but she saw how bad they wanted it and gave it to them on the house. I’m telling you now I will be coming here a lot more.”
“One of my favourite places in my neighbourhood. I frequent here a lot, and the woman who works there always remembers my order! It's nice to be remembered. Favourites would have to be the Agedashi Tofu, Crazy Boy roll and the Black Buster roll. ❤️”
“very nice place for rice rolls and congee. everything was very delicious and very authentic. I highly recommend this place”
“Amazing food with great selection. Food always come fresh and tastes delicious!”
“Thank you, Chef Piotr Przykaza and your wife for phenomenal dinner and Tristian for an amazing service 😊🍷 Very highly recommend it 👍”
“The best middle eastern restaurant in toronto, and I’ve been to many. Excellent customer service.”
“Great friendly service, was served food pretty fast. The best fried calamari I have had yet. The chicken Slovakia dinner was so yummy. I can’t wait to try some of the other dishes they have. I Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys some real tasty Greek food.”
“We had a family event last night at their restaurant. I can't stress how great the value is here, and the food quality was top shelf. I have eaten food cooked by some of the best chefs in the world and this was every bit as good. the staff were attentive but not at all intrusive. very accommodating for our large group of 15 people. Their shrimp and calamari platter was cooked perfectly, not at all rubbery, with a divine sauce to dip. Pasta nicely al denté. Calabrese antipasto, nice bread spread. Perfect, and I do mean PERFECTLY, cooked steak, chicken, and sausages. Their pizza is simple but lovely balanced between crisp and chewy. Not too thick, not too thin. Arancini were great. I highly recommend them for your next family event, or just a quiet night out for the family! Thank you to all the staff and the chef for making our family event a success, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!”
“I had a great experience dining here. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of without being overbearing.”
“I had the pleasure of eating at Goa a few days ago. The lady who seated us and helped with menu selection (Mary) was very welcoming and helpful. The menu is very interesting and diverse. I had the branzino and basmati rice. The portions were plentiful, flavourful and excellent. I will certainly return to try another dish in the future.”
“food trip mode and first time dine-in here at Sampaguita. staff were very friendly and nice ambiance. chef manny & owner were very accomodating & considerate to prepare another menu especially made for me, Kare Kare with Lechon Kawali on top. it was so delicious, very authentic filipino cuisine. 100% i'll be back here. thanks a lot to all staff who assisted me👍 keep up the good work👏👏👏”
“Really loves this place. The food is great. The employees are friendly. Would recommend it to everyone!”
“Ubereats Order
Got the koryo samgyetang and it was perfection, i liked the fact that the broth comes entirely unseasoned yet full of flavor, they give you salt and paper mixture to add as you wish. The hen comes stuffed with rice as well. First time trying this dish and ienjoyed it very much, would definitely order again <3”
“I had lunch here with my family and i like the atmosphere, child friendly and good food.”
“Would like to tell you ne er to come to this tiny gem you might miss before descending into Hog's Hollow but locals know this to be a truly amazing culinary experience worthy of a long drive.”
“Cute Korean restaurant about 3-5 min walk from Finch Subway station. Tip: exit through the passenger pickup area of Finch station if you're walking, that's the closest exit to the restaurant. I came here specifically to try their Ganjang Gejang (raw blue crab marinated in soy sauce), it seems that they might be the only restaurant that serves this dish in Toronto, that I could find and know of. There is a very slight fishy smell when I sniffed it, which is expected since it's raw crab, but when I was eating it, I didn't find it fishy at all, it was really delicious. The crab roe was soft and rich, the meat was smooth and fresh, everything went really well with the rice. I can see why this dish is called a rice thief now. I was really tempted to order another bowl of rice but on account of my diet I stopped myself. I would definitely try this dish again. I also ordered the kimchi stew and my friend got a spicy beef soup. Although it was not as outstanding as the Ganjang Gejang, Both were delicious and portions were good. The side dishes were good as well. Not sure if there's free refills or not since we didn't ask for any. The service was good, it's a smaller shop, seems like it's family owned. People were doing multi jobs so if you wanted more tea or something you have to ask them, they do really try to check up you though and would walk around once in awhile to refill your tea and see how you're doing. Overall a good dining experience, I would come back to try their raw crab. However if I was just going out for Korean food then I may not specifically go out of my way to come here since although the other dishes were good, it's not super outstanding. Aside from indoor dining they also have outdoor dining, there's a big white tent outside, they provides pretty good shelter, there's also hanging lights out there, really cute set up. We dined inside though since it was windy.”
“First time here and found a right place for authentic Korean bbq with my favourite kimchi stew so yummy ! Will surely come back again even needed to queue... 😋😋😋”
“Great food and a nice atmosphere. We’ve been coming to this restaurant many times over the past 20 years, and the food quality is still great. Rozhan gave us excellent service—she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely keep coming back!”
“Best tasting pho I’ve tried. Bun cha was also very flavourful.”
“Once every few weeks I order a party tray here for a pickup. Price is reasonable and the quality has been absolutely amazing every single time. Staff is very friendly.”
“Enjoyed an amazing dinner on the patio Will definitely be back”
“Im a new yorker & I gotta say The chicken nest is, and always has been, my favorite restaurant since I went to boarding school up in Toronto from 1998-2000. I still visit Canada from time to time, and when I do, I always make sure to visit the chicken nest for some great food.”
“Great food, service and ambiance. Whenever we visit Lara's Restaurant we feel very much at home hence the reason we go back frequently and hold all our events at the restaurant. Highly recommended Seta”
“The food is terrific - unpretentious classics, obviously passed down through generations. Ask if Albert will be there when you make reservations; trust me, he makes the entire evening just that much better.”
“The food was absolutely amazing. My 3 daughters and I went there for dinner during Summerlicious 2022. We didn't have reaervations and the options were a 1 hour wait to sit inside or be seated right away on the patio. We chose the patio. We were served our drinks and appetizers within 1/2 hour but our main course came about an hour after but it was worth the wait. We will definitely return🍾🎉”
“Return visit since leaving Toronto in 2023, treated friends who are moving to Saskatoon to a fabulous lunch on a gorgeous sunny February day. My friend loved his sopa and tacos while his wife, whos vevetarian, fell in love with the huge meal she had in a conch like dough shell. Me I went for tacos, enchiladas, quesadilas and salad with a Dos XX to wash it down. Fantastic tasty home away from home made treats by the mamasitas in the kitchen. I will return but hope that my friends will be able to find something as tasty and great in their new home town. Muchissimas gracias a las cocineras. Bravo.”
“Just dined again at this hidden gem, as we were craving peking duck, and this time decided to try their signature chicken (white-cut) dish, along with Cantonese chowmein and everything was on point from taste, to presentation and service. And we had lots of food to take home (generous servings). Our hostess Shen-Li was very pleasant and offered us complimentary dessert (mango, green tea pudding) which was a nice touch. She also recommended that we try their dim sum next time, a popular favourite, so that will be on our tasting menu next time!
Just note that parking is limited to 3 spots in front, so it’s probably best to park adjacent or across the street.”
“This was our first time dining in at Meat Point and it left a really good impression. The staff were polite and attentive, the ambiance was cozy, and the food arrived fresh and flavorful. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and filling. Great value for money and a place worth returning to.”
“I dont have enough words to praise the food. Exact indian homestyle food and authentic taste like mother's cook.
I am happy to share my views about delicious food served.
Quantity is also great, and value for money.

“The environment is great, food is 10/10 one of the best caribbean restaurant so far 👌 the service could have been better but it was a big group so they didn't serve according to the order even though the kids order was taken first they got serve like half hr after the adults who order the same thing but everything was perfect. Would definitely go bk n invite other ppl there”
“Everyone here is very friendly and hospitable. I felt like I stepped one foot into japan when I came here. The food is also top quality and well worth the price.”
“Very nice, generous lunch in the elegant and, on a hoiday-weekend Sunday, very quiet room. Tip: the za'tar fries are really really good! more than enough for sharing, too.”
“I come here for a second time around. The food, Ambiance and staff are superb, this is highly recommended. Especially SACO our Server, he is so Funny and very approachable, always takes good care of his Table to make sure everything was fine.”
“This is a grab and go takeout spot but honestly the quality surprised me in a good way. I got the Salmon Avocado Plus and the rice to topping ratio was perfect. Everything tasted fresh and super satisfying.
The location is right in front of TD Bank which makes it really easy to stop by and for the price the quality is amazing. I went near the end of the day and it was still fresh and delicious which I did not expect.
The staff and the owners were incredibly nice and welcoming and were smiling the whole time. You can tell they actually care.
I will definitely be coming back and would recommend this place!”

“Hidden gems that I truly don’t want to tell. Great amount of food! Taste is fantastic! Love gamjatang (a bit spicy but very flavourful!) No, everything was tasty! Old style place which I love it! Please don’t change anything the way it looks and tastes. Small restaurant so of course take a bit time but I can be patient. Tight space so better go when not busy time. Highly recommend :)”
“Had a wonderful dinner at Otto Trattoria. The food was phenomenal... the wood-fired pizza smelled incredible, and my risotto was absolutely delicious. Our server was amazing and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy, intimate, and lively. Also, surprisingly well priced for the quality. Would definitely go back!”
“Great first date spot!
Walked in to grab a beer, it was served ice cold. Impressive service as it was fast & cold.
We took a seat to enjoy our cold beers & as we approached the end our drinks, 2 unopened crisp cold brewski’s arrived. Cracked open in front of our eyes and the bartender said, “it’s on the house.” We were ecstatic.
Oh, don’t forget the amazing music. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and vibes.
10/10 would recommend.”
