“Really enjoyed my honey chicken with kale salad. Sides of grits & sweet potatoes were well cooked and hot bugs comfort food spot. Biscuits with butter and honey are mouthwatering perfect. Bananas Foster crème brûlée was enjoy. Not a huge pecan pie fan as it lacks a bit of flavor depth especially for a southern based restaurant. Overall, was a delicious experience. Service was accurate and courteous. Ambience was romantic.“

“I’m familiar with this place from one of their previous locations in Nashville well over 10 years ago, i was excited to see it here in DFW, it had been over 10 years since i got to taste it again, and it didn’t disappoint. It tasted exactly like I remembered from Nashville, The chicken is uniquely fried, blended with a great mix of spices for great flavors and a little heat. This is a good definition of southern comfort food. Their sweet tea, and Cole slaw are great! Worth a visit, it was a great mom and pop atmosphere, and the service is very friendly.“
“Michael's is the place to go on Tuesday nights for their famous Prime Rib. We'd heard a lot about it and finally got our chance to enjoy a wonderful evening here. The service was great. Our server knew all about the menu and was very helpful in answering questions. I asked for an end cut of prime rib. I really like the crispy outside, and although its usually a little more toward the medium well side, it was delicious. My hubby ordered a 12 ounce portion, medium to medium rare. It arrived perfectlycooked and nestled on a bed of the best mashed potatoes around. The gravy was hot and flavorful as well.We'll be back soon to try more of the menu items. “I have lived in the deep south and have been in search of great catfish for years, look no further Belzoni's not only delivers they exceeded all expectations. The catfish is moist, battered perfectly, not greasy, and delivered hot. The sides especially the turnip greens have such an amazing flavor and prepared without any bacon fat. This is a must place to dine.“
“Not sure what's going on with the hours of operation but, the website is showing business is open. Drove all the way from Saginaw, TX. Pulled in the VACANT parking lot just to see a small hand written note stating business will be closed until January 23rd. I visited the restaurant just before Christmas and the hostess told me and other customers they would be back in full operation on January 16th. Keep in mind if you decide to eat here and you don't have any issues burning your gas driving, you may want to call ahead and that's only if they answer the phone. Food quality is very good. I will give them that.Parking: Parking lot is only big enough for 3-4 cars max . very dangerous parking out on the curbside.“

“Love going to chicken salad chick when I want something light and chill. I have had a bunch of their different flavors and don't think I've had a bad one yet! Whether you get a scoop, sandwich, or soup with your combo you can't go wrong! My only complaint is I wish they were better at getting the cracker ratio just right lol“
“Affordable place to get some food and drinks in downtown Fort Worth. Wings are phenomenal, the drink pours for old fashioneds were larger than other places and the service was friendly. Also had football on so we could watch the MNF game while there.“

My go-to has been the BLT on toasted wheat with a scoop of the kicking kay lynne and a side of soup or Mac and cheese.We also grabbed the pre-packed chicken salad as meal prep through the week as well and tried other flavors that, of course, were delicious.Go and try them out, you won't regret it.“

Never once have I had a bad experience at ANY location, but especially at this location because all of the employees go above and beyond. One time I placed an order for the Chicken Fried Chicken, and the chicken was smaller than a playing card. I called the location; they took down my address and express mailed me 2 gift cards to cover the cost of the CFC meal.“

We chatted briefly about looking at license plates and forming a word or deciphering an acronym from license plates, lol. The small, light conversation we shared really changed my mood from one of stress and gloom to a joyous one. She had no clue, but she literally made my evening!
