“The food is great. Really really great. The service is impeccable. (Shout out to Letty and Robert) You should go, and spend money, and tip well. These people are killing it. This should continue to be a treasured Ft. Worth Institution. Please take my money, and maybe please put the crawfish etouffee back on the menu?“
“On my trip from California I was looking for a great place to eat and relax. I'm SO glad I found this place! The perfectly seasoned burger and fries and the kind demeanor of Kat, my waitress, really made eating here special. Highly reccomend.“
“What can I say about this place? The food was so good I wanted to slap some body. The people or nice. I'm not from Fort Worth but if I was this would be a weekly spot for me to eat. And you might think the price is high but you will not finish your meal In one sitting. So I ate some at lunch and took the rest back to the hotel for dinner later and I still didn't finish it. Go by and check this place out it is really good.Parking: It's a parking lot with lots of spaces what more can I say.Kid-friendliness: I walked in and young kids were sitting enjoying their turkey legs.“
“Delicious biscuits!!! A must as a starter, come with butter, honey, and jam! The deviled eggs are silky smooth and full of flavor. Hushpuppies coated in well seasoned batter. The seafood dip was full of meat, I would have enjoyed toast instead of crackers. The desserts.. .great goodness. Pecan pie with biscuit crust and a chocolate lovers cake, both with house-made ice cream - perfect bites to end with!Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite, and 1 small town at a time.Explore everything!“
“This place is the best. I've tried plenty of hot chicken all over the place. At some places the seasoning isn't the best, some places the chicken isn't the best, and some places the sauce isn't the best. Not here. It is great across the board. Never had a bad experience when dining here.“
“Oh My Smothering Biscuits, this place is amazing! The chicken salad is the best you’ll ever have, the fries and potatoes are perfect, the Bangin’ Burrito is on point, the desserts are delicious, and I’m sure anything else I haven’t tried is phenomenal as well! Chef Katrina is the best!“
“OMG! I love this place! Amanda is the greatest, she just makes everyone feel welcome! And all the staff are super friendly. The food is phenomenal and I didn't l like chicken salad before trying it here! I literally haven't tried anything here that I didn't like! ?“
“The food was wonderful, the margaritas were tasty, but the service by Evan was outstanding. He had excellent recommendations, was very knowledgeable about the food (specially the Trout Dip - 10/10 recommend!!) and was so friendly. If we could take Evan on the road with us this whole trip through Fort Worth to be our server we would. I can’t wait to come back soon!“
“I’m familiar with this place from one of their previous locations in Nashville well over 10 years ago, i was excited to see it here in DFW, it had been over 10 years since i got to taste it again, and it didn’t disappoint. It tasted exactly like I remembered from Nashville, The chicken is uniquely fried, blended with a great mix of spices for great flavors and a little heat. This is a good definition of southern comfort food. Their sweet tea, and Cole slaw are great! Worth a visit, it was a great mom and pop atmosphere, and the service is very friendly.“
“Michael's is the place to go on Tuesday nights for their famous Prime Rib. We'd heard a lot about it and finally got our chance to enjoy a wonderful evening here. The service was great. Our server knew all about the menu and was very helpful in answering questions. I asked for an end cut of prime rib. I really like the crispy outside, and although its usually a little more toward the medium well side, it was delicious. My hubby ordered a 12 ounce portion, medium to medium rare. It arrived perfectlycooked and nestled on a bed of the best mashed potatoes around. The gravy was hot and flavorful as well. We'll be back soon to try more of the menu items. I know we can't go wrong!“
“I like was surprised by how good the food is here.We had rosemary chicken and it was so scrumptious, it just fell right off the bone. We also tried chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and the cornbread —sweeeet! The rice was okay, but not our favorite. But guys, the sweet potatoes? Lord have mercy. These are divine. The dining room is under construction, so there’s no way to eat there now, but I’m sure the atmosphere will be lovely when they’re done. We walked in an ordered from a table in the front, and they brought it out to our car 15 minutes later.“
“Not sure what's going on with the hours of operation but, the website is showing business is open. Drove all the way from Saginaw, TX. Pulled in the VACANT parking lot just to see a small hand written note stating business will be closed until January 23rd. I visited the restaurant just before Christmas and the hostess told me and other customers they would be back in full operation on January 16th. Keep in mind if you decide to eat here and you don't have any issues burning your gas driving, you may want to call ahead and that's only if they answer the phone. Food quality is very good. I will give them that.Parking: Parking lot is only big enough for 3-4 cars max . very dangerous parking out on the curbside.“
“I didn't get any pics bc we drove from midland and were absolutely starving by the time we got our food! We just left the doctor and used yelp to find something close by. It was such a good suggestion! The menu is on a tablet on the other side of the counter by the restrooms but it's easy to use! The manager was so awesome and helpful! I got the double chicken sandwich and it was fresh and so delicious! The Mac and cheese was amazing and the pickles are soo good! The cucumber jalapeño lemonade was the perfect addition to it. For dessert we got the banana pudding and that was the perfect sweetness to finish the meal! I would definitely recommend coming here again! Fresh food and great service!“
“Love going to chicken salad chick when I want something light and chill. I have had a bunch of their different flavors and don't think I've had a bad one yet! Whether you get a scoop, sandwich, or soup with your combo you can't go wrong! My only complaint is I wish they were better at getting the cracker ratio just right lol“
“Lots of chicken in the half chicken platter. Chicken is hot when received and seasoned well. Mac and cheese was fine. Okra was solid. Banana pudding was okay but a little heavy. Looking forward to trying out the sandwiches next time.Parking: Parking lot is shared with multiple businesses.“
“Shoutout to the staff who helped me book my birthday party here last minute on 3/30. The patio with the fountain was such a great atmosphere and perfect for pictures! Our server was great. Helped us with the birthday cake etc. Thanks 97 West!Vegetarian options: Fried green tomatoes and salad offerings available.“
“Affordable place to get some food and drinks in downtown Fort Worth. Wings are phenomenal, the drink pours for old fashioneds were larger than other places and the service was friendly. Also had football on so we could watch the MNF game while there.“
“I don't know why it took us so long to try Chicken Salad Chick. There are so many selections and so much seating available that it's perfect for a lunch location. My go-to has been the BLT on toasted wheat with a scoop of the kicking kay lynne and a side of soup or Mac and cheese. We also grabbed the pre-packed chicken salad as meal prep through the week as well and tried other flavors that, of course, were delicious.Go and try them out, you won't regret it.“
“This was our 2nd business meeting at Cast Iron for breakfast. Amber and her team are very welcoming and attentive. This was absolutely a wonderful place and everything from the service to the food was exemplary. Thank you everyone at Cast Iron!“
“The day our BFF got her new ring we stopped here to eat and it was really good. Upon ordering different meals and veggies it was delicious seasoned almost to perfection. The bread was great and it's addictive so watch out not to eat too much before the main meal or you will be packing some home which is okay“
“Was in there to celebrate my sister's birthday and was blessed by Chris and his amazing and above and beyond perfect service with a smile and our food was cooked to absolute perfection truly loved the steaks apps and those cold and refreshing flavored teas I had the strawberry tea I highly recommend this amazing place to everyone keep up the amazing work everyone.Parking: Handicap spots are amazingly close to the main entrance and quite plentiful.Kid-friendliness: I observed the staff being very respectful and helpful to both children and their parents with compassion and understandingWheelchair accessibility: As a disabled person it was very easy to enter through the main entrance and navigate the restaurant in it's entirety and bathrooms accommodate wheelchairs walkers and canes quite well“
“I wish I would have gotten the name of the lady that brought my food out, but unfortunately I didn’t. She was an older caucasian lady with such a pleasant demeanor. We chatted briefly about looking at license plates and forming a word or deciphering an acronym from license plates, lol. The small, light conversation we shared really changed my mood from one of stress and gloom to a joyous one. She had no clue, but she literally made my evening! Oh, and the food ……. was super delicious!!“
“Went there shortly after it opened. It was a saturday so there were tons of people. We put our name on the waiting list so we did not have to wait that long after arriving. Our server was so friendly and took her time to explain things on the menu, even though she had a lot of tables to serve. We did have to wait a little bit for the food to come out, but that is totally normal when the place is packed. The food was delicious as always and I just love the shop in the front. Will definitely come back!“
“Very pleased. The food is the best in this area. Great flavor. Had the meat pies, chicken wings with fried shrimp, crawfish ettoufe (I can't spell) and French bread. We didn't have a daquari due to our own preference but next time. Definitely will try Family Game night next time.“
