“This place serves truly authentic Sichuan-style skewers — the flavors are rich, spicy, and exactly how they should be. All the ingredients are incredibly fresh and well-prepared. My personal favorites are the beef tongue, pork brain, chicken heart, beef tripe, and the tender beef slices — each one cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The service is exceptionally warm and attentive, making the whole dining experience very enjoyable and memorable.”
“Haley made our visit to Lulu Island Winery a wonderful experience. He was so welcoming and was extremely clear in communicating the details of each wine. I would definitely recommend making a stop to try their ice wine. His demonstrations and responses to our questions were fantastic!
Ps. Avoid the older female Caucasian staff member with glasses. She gave us a look that made us feel unwelcome.”
“First time hot potting. The waiter was so helpful and the food was delicious!!! We will definitely be back again!”
“Wonderful food! the chicken and waffles are amazing! You Gotta eat here!”
“"Baan Lao took me on a remarkable culinary journey, featuring Chef Nutcha's, "A Taste of Baan Lao." Each course left me captivated, anticipating the next tantalizing offering. The wine pairings flawlessly complemented the flavours, enhancing the taste adventure. The attentive service staff provided a first-class experience, ensuring every detail was covered. The fusion of Thai and Canadian flavours showcased culinary perfection. Each plate presented an exquisite masterpiece, meticulously crafted as a work of art both in taste and presentation. It was impossible to choose a favourite, as every course was a delight for both the eyes and the taste buds. I wholeheartedly recommend Baan Lao as a must-visit destination. With its inviting atmosphere, exceptional dining experience, and unforgettable flavours, Baan Lao promises to create lasting memories for any food enthusiast. My compliments to the Chef and her team for the exquisite evening and the unique journey that I am eager to revisit! Thank you."”

“I really like the soup. Lots of options to put in the hotpot, and the beef is super cheap at night. The spicy beef tallow broth hit the right spot for me, which is great because I don’t find most spicy options satisfying. I also like the fried buns.
If I could ask for one thing though, I would like if there were more option for single people. The prices were definitely made with groups in mind but I would love to go here alone. Otherwise I’m very satisfied.
P.S: I like Jiabao’s style”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Moxies..Our server (Chantelle) was very personable and efficient. The entire staff was friendly and appeared to enjoy their job..Food great also!”

“The food and service were outstanding. After a long day of travel, the restaurant was a welcome rest. We sampled the prime rib, chicken wings, and wedge salad, all of which were tender and delicious. The staff were accommodating and attentive. We will definitely return on our next visit.”
“I recently visited Good Nine Korean BBQ, and everything was totally worth it . All the meats I tried were super juicy and fresh. I went there for the pork belly, but I enjoyed the galbi more. Non-marinated galbi was incredibly tender, and the beef tongue was perfect with just lemon and salt. Eating the pork belly with wasabi was another twist.
The staff were very friendly, their grilling skills were excellent. If you’re looking for great Korean BBQ with a pleasant atmosphere, I highly recommend this place. And don’t forget to try their naengmyeon—it’s a must!”
“We had our anniversary dinner here. Food is on the pricy side but well worth it. Been a fan of Gordon Ramsay and ordered the popular ones and they didn't disappoint. The beef and scallop were tender and well seasoned. We really enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding. The drinks were alright though. The staff were so nice, knowledgeable and even congratulated us everytime they brought food out which made us feel special. The restaurant is very open though and we were seated near the entrance so whenever the door opens, we can smell the cigarette smoke coming in but other than that, we had a pleasant time.”
“Top drinks: Peach oat latte and coconut latte. High quality and premium taste.
The store is very small and cozy so there is usually no seats during weekends. Parking for this square is pretty hard too but their coffee is really amazing so it's worth the hassle”
“I really wanted to thank this establishment as it provided my family of 4 the best meal since arriving in canada on holiday from uk. We generally eat Persian food in the UK and was delighted to find this place, food, atmosphere and price was excellent. We will be visiting 1 or 2 more times before heading back to the UK.”
“Great place! We tried the tteokbokki and corn cheese. The portions are very generous, and were more than enough for two people. The prices were also very affordable, and food was delicious.”
“The best Indian food in BC, complemented with amazing service! The Owner and Chef is culinary master! A must visit!”

“Jaspreet is wonderful to deal with. She served us many times and she stands out. She builds our sandwiches generously and is very chill to talk to. Wouldn't go to any other subways now knowing that she works at this one. The area and environment is also always very clean. Many thanks Jaspreet! You deserve a promotion.”
“stop by this Tim Hortons drive-thru every morning on my way to work, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Piyush! He’s hands down one of the most friendly and consistent people I’ve met. No matter how busy the line is or how early it is in the morning, he always greets me with a smile and a great attitude.
He remembers my order, is super quick and efficient, and genuinely makes my mornings better. It’s the little things that count, he brings positive energy to every interaction and you can tell he cares about doing a great job.”
“I had such a great experience at this Subway today! The place was clean, everything looked fresh, and my order was made exactly how I liked it. The customer service here is amazing.
A special shoutout to Karam — she was super friendly, patient, and made my sandwich with so much care. You can really tell she enjoys what she does. Thank you, Karam, for the great service! I’ll definitely be coming back.”
“We absolutely love this Subway location and have been happy repeat customers for a long time! The staff here are always so friendly and welcoming, and Jashan truly goes above and beyond—she’s incredibly kind, attentive, and makes every visit feel special. Even when the Subway app isn’t working and we have to call in, Jashan remembers all our special requests perfectly, making ordering a breeze. My toddler’s face lights up the moment I tell her we’re going to Subway—it’s become one of her favourite treats! Thank you to Jashan and the whole team for your outstanding service, warm hospitality, and consistently delicious food. We’ll be back again and again! :)”
“Easily and quite possibly the most beautiful and classic McDonald’s that I have ever been it! The clerk said that it was recently renovated, and it most certainly shows! They have a TV/screen that shows the history of McDonald’s in Canada, while you wait, and everything. Excellent service, too!”
“A few days ago, I ordered visited the burger king in this location and my experience was really good and everything was fresh, hot, and so delicious! The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the mozzarella fries were cheesy and satisfying. Service was quick and friendly, and the food came just the way I expected. Definitely one of my best Burger King visits - will be coming back again soon.. thank you so much 😇”
“Had a wonderful experience at this Church’s Chicken location today. The food was hot, fresh, and full of flavor, but the service is what truly stood out. The team was warm, attentive, and made the whole visit feel welcoming. The managers were especially impressive—professional, kind, and making sure every customer was taken care of.”
“I’ve eaten here a few times. When they first opened to the public I was so happy that Soup Curry had finally arrived to Vancouver. The soup was hot and everything cooked to perfection.
I came here recently greeted with lovely staff but the food just wasn’t quite right. The carrot was hard and soup was lukewarm. Reading the reviews, it looks like I wasn’t alone in this experience. The meat was tender though and I enjoyed the flavour profile. One thing I would ask especially since now fall and winter are arriving is that you serve your soup curry hot 🙏🏼 I hope to return next time seeing this change.”

“I had an amazing experience at this brunch spot! The breakfast was absolutely delicious: everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The croissant was greatly made and served with thought.
What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. They were quick to offer recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
Highly recommend this place if you're looking to grab a quick bite and for outstanding service!”
“The mango mochi was so good! First time having freshly made mochi. It’s just different from the frozen ones.
I enjoyed the milk with papaya as well: the sweetness is subtle but right on.
The coconut pudding was ok: I guess I was expecting a coconut jelly, but this one is more mushy.”

“I’ve been to this location before and it’s a frequent highlight of my trips down to Burnaby. I just stopped in after a rough day and they made me a very custom salad poke bowl and miso soup. They are the absolute sweetest here and I am so excited for my dinner and so excited to have been able to come back it was the first place I got lunch when I flew into Canada from the states a year ago and it’s still just as lovely.”
“A few friends and I went for the first time and were blown away with the quality of the meal, service, and ambiance- definitely a place to return to and I just saw they do ‘brunch’. worth visiting!”

“Uncle faiths pizza in Richmond is located on a bus only street... after typing their location in our GPS to pickup the ordered pizza, it led us to an abandoned parking lot. Called Uncle Faiths pizza to get the address to pickup the pizza, and typed it into our GPS. there was no mention about the street being a bus only street by my GPS or the pizza establishment. I turn down the street and am met by a police officer and a $124 ticket for turning down the street. no parking on the cross street before either, so assuming you need to park a few blocks away? Honest question, is uncle faiths working with VPD to ticket people? Entrapment?”
“This food stall is located in Yaohan Center and saw a youtuber eat here so came to try it. Ordered their pork spareribs (they called it pork chop?) and chicken claypot rice. It takes around 15-20 mins to make as they do this fresh so it comes out piping hot even if you wait for it to cool down after 1/2 hour. You also get to choose level of spicyness which I thought was interesting (we ordered mild).
They give you the claypot with soup, soy sauce and pickled veggies. Everything was good and especially the scorched rice at the bottom of the inside pot. My only minor complaint was the pork spareribs had a lot of cartilage and were smaller pieces so a lot of chewing was required. Will come back again to try their noodle dishes.”
“We had an amazing experience at this restaurant tonight!
The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared.
A special shout-out to Asieh, our server, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. She truly made our night even better.
I will definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!”
“Since hubby misses Japan (the food especially) immensely, I decided to bring Japan to him for his birthday! It was more than we could've hoped for from the gracious hosts, Chef Ray and wife Christine, to the gorgeous presentation of each course, the preparations of each item, the texture, the taste and the cosy atmosphere. We savoured each bite, while enjoying the friendly banter between the hosts and a couple of their regulars at the bar seating. Highly recommend! side note: I was impressed by just how meticulous and thoughtful they are when I saw they even put a little decor under the washroom sink.”
“I dined here for lunch a few days ago with some friends. We ordered different pasta dishes to share and we all ate the matcha tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Noodles were cooked perfectly, and all the sauces had the right amount of seasoning (nothing was lacking or overpowering the dish). The dessert was very tasty and not super sugary as other desserts can be.
Since this was during the lunch time rush, the restaurant was fully seated with people waiting for a table. The service was quick and attentive. Our water was refilled and the server made sure to check on us and how our meal was. We did not feel rushed nor ignored.
I feel the owner and the staff have corrected a lot of the concerns it seems people have had with negative reviews. This is now one of my favourite restaurants in Richmond and I will be coming back many more times.”
“The atmosphere is cozy, relaxing, and beautifully designed — perfect for studying, catching up with friends, or just enjoying some quiet “me time.” Their drinks are top-tier (especially the matcha and lattes), and the desserts are not only delicious but also picture-perfect. The staff are super friendly and make you feel genuinely welcome. It’s one of those places you visit once and instantly want to come back to.”
“Just finished work this morning and went straight here just for this. I was so curious about it. I need to go here every weekend since their cream puffs are only available on that day. I bought some for my husband for breakfast, and thank God there’s a matcha one for me too. I’ll update about the taste. I bet it’s delicious! Thank you!”
“Meilleur déjeuner que j'ai mangé! Wow! Le toast au procuitto et burrata, wow! 😍❤️ Le service est très rapide. Par contre, c'est très bruyant même pour un mardi midi.”

Fine Dining
“Haven't been to Yuu for a while and we went back last week. Price didn't go up much despite the inflation. Kids order some special drink and the staff even gave them a small ice-cream cone to top it off. Great gesture. Would definitely be going back more often.”

“Didn't take any picture cuz my friends and I literally finished our meal once we got them. We ordered 肉夹馍,油泼面,and 红油凉皮,way over expectation, as authentic as what I usually had in my birth city, Xi'an.
Being honest with you, this reminded me of my grandma and my hometown.
The only lackness here is the atmosphere cuz it's inside a mall which means not much seats for dining, yet the take-out package is tight and clean.”
“I was passing Vancouver in transit on 20th July ,stayed overnight and went to the restaurant for having and taking away some chicken pieces for Saint John. NB as there was no P in Saint John. The girl at the counter was so courteous and very customer friendly .The service was very fast. The chicken was very tasty and crispy and prefect .I enjoyed very much and brought pieces to Saint John for my family. All were happy to eat them. I thank the whole team and wish you prosper .”
“A order a sandwich platter. They are very good for the price point. Not too greasy and not bland. Very nice balance of flavour as it is not covered in sauces and juicy. The bread is just the right amount of crispy. Definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in the neighbourhood.”
“If you love Lobster rolls, Oyster burgers , cod burgers, wild salmon burgers and good old classic beef cheese burgers all filled with fresh vegetables , this is a hidden gem in Steveston . The oyster burger is fresh and a fair size. The lobster roll is to die for. All of her ingredients are fresh. The cheese beef burger is huge . Amy , who took over this long time business Serves up some amazing burgers , fish tacos , onion rings, hot dogs . Tried her organic Mango milkshake which was very natural as she only uses honey, 2 % milk and mangoes . We go once every 2 weeks . have gotten to know Amy. She works alone, so on busy days, she will take longer to prepare your order. Talk a walk around the boardwalk or wharf , take in the gorgoeus water view.. It is well worth the wait. You will not be disappointed.”
“I tried this place for the first time yesterday. I had the special cheeseburger with egg . The patty was a good size and fresh meat not frozen, I will definitely go back ! I checked out the other menu items and I am looking forward to trying many of them , the prices are great !”

“Great self-serve bar and menu. The squid is simply amazing, and the chicken doesn't disappoint. Solid atmosphere too. A perfect place for a night out with friends.”
“Spicy Pro Hot Pot 8542 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6P 4Z7 Spicy Pro Hot Pot brings a unique and thoroughly enjoyable new dining experience to our neighborhood of Marpole. The aroma of the soup bases wafting from the modest storefront will stop you in your tracks and draw you inside. After choosing from a wide array of ingredients to add to one of three delicious soup bases, you can relax and enjoy the fun and cozy ambiance while the kitchen prepares your dish. When it arrives at your table in a generously large and elegant serving bowl you will immediately notice the care with which it has been assembled. Presentation is not lacking here and the money is being spent in the right place: the kitchen! I and my partner are not light eaters, and we come away stuffed and blissed-out for less than $50. The staff provide patient and thoughtful assistance to new customers choosing their ingredients and spice level for the first time. We love spicy food and usually order things hot, but the mild level is just right for us here.”
“Friendly service, great food and an amazing setting on the water. Beautiful location! We were there for a birthday and we felt very well taken care of! Staff is so enthusiastic! Thanks Milltown!”
“Always great food consistency. Been eating there since they were in Vancouver. Definitely a favourite with our family.”
“This place is so good 10/10 recommend
Our server Nick was a G, was super thoughtful and helpful, brought our little dogs some water and gave the best food recommendations.
My favorite thing was T3. Beef Rib Bánh Hỏi
Karaoke inside looked hype”
“Hong Phat is hands down one of the best spots for Vietnamese food in Richmond! Their hu tieu (#S1) and shaken beef (#F3) are packed with amazing flavor. It’s become my weekly go-to since I moved here. Ohhh their salted cream coffee are addicting!”
“First time at this restaurant, as we're from Toronto. Didn't take any pictures but the food was delicious & the service was amazing! The restaurant was busy but the staff came around often to fill the teapot with water. Busy but staff was attentative!”
“The food was delicious! The broth, you can request if you want spicy or not, I had the spicy one and definitely a must try one, If you like spicy. Very clean place, very aesthetic!
And especially the service was great, they will help you out if it’s your first time eating here. 😄😄😄 I will definitely come back here!”
“A few days ago, I went sea fishing and ended up at this restaurant. We asked them to prepare our seafood. The lady boss's impeccable service was the epitome of quality service! It was the first time I'd experienced genuinely friendly service in Canada! On our third day back in Winnipeg, I still couldn't forget the first three pickles: the crispy, sweet and sour cucumber, the shredded potatoes fragrant with chili oil, and the radish. The subtle salty and sweet flavors, combined with the slightly spicy and refreshing aroma, were simply perfect!
Both methods of preparing Dungeness crab are perfect, bringing out different flavors while retaining the sweetness of the crab meat. It's really great!!! As a food lover, I really hope there is a restaurant like this in Winnipeg!”
“Great place to eat, service was so friendly and the vibe was fun. Loved how the owner Spencer came to do quality check to make sure if we didnt like anything, he wanted to know and make it right.
Highly recommend!”
“A hidden gem in Steveston where there are several sushi joints to choose from. This one feels like you might actually be tucked away in a suburban area in Japan. High quality ingredients and skilled preparation.”
“This food is insanely delicious! Just the thought of their duck burger and my mouth starts watering. Everything on the menu is amazing- even something simple like onion rings! They should warn you before your first visit because it won’t be your last - highly addictive deliciousness!”
“The food tastes very good and everyone is so friendly and provide the high quality service”
“Was out in a chilly ride, stopped in for chips, gravy and a coffee.”
“recommended restaurant ever and food are so delicious and fantastic and excellent experience and ambiance. Will come back here this is one of my favorite ever”
“Nice if you were open till 2 am like The Buck on Friday and Saturday nights, you'd get more business, people wanna party late! Otherwise nice place, family has been coming here since the 1960s.”
“Wow the food is fantastic. It was very difficult to decide on what to try. I ended up with the “hot & sour dumpling soup” and the “beef slice in Chinese pancake.” Both are a must try.”
“Beautiful setting, the best staff, great wine and delightful entertainment on weekends.”
“Outstanding friendly service from the enthusiastic and attentive staff❣️Above & beyond food especially the lunch bento❣️”
“Really enjoyed this Japanese spot!
The mentaiko udon was definitely my favorite – super rich and flavorful, and the little pops of roe in every bite were so satisfying. The noodles were chewy and cooked just right.
The chawanmushi (steamed egg) was amazing too – silky smooth with shrimp and salmon roe on top, which added a nice depth of flavor. So comforting when it’s warm!
The agedashi tofu had a great texture – they used firm tofu with a crispy outside and soft center, and the savory sauce brought everything together.
We also had the eel sushi roll, which was perfectly balanced – not too sweet, and the eel had a nice charred flavor.
And big shout-out to the staff – super kind and attentive. The whole dining experience felt cozy and welcoming. Definitely coming back!”
“The best Japanese sushi you can get in Richmond. The service is a bit rushed because bookings are only for 1.5hr but if you come as two it'll feel a little less rushed. They're only open for dinner on a select few days so make sure you plan and book ahead”
“I’d give a 4.5. We didn’t realize this was a $50-60 per person type of place 😅 but the food is reliably good. Other than pricing, the other negative is the hand rolls had smaller and lower quality pieces of fish than the nigiri. They were also out of uni yet charge the same price for all uni dishes”
“What an amazing addition to the community. They have a great selection of their own beer, amazing cocktails (highly recommend the smashed apple) and a really great assortment of food! My new favourite place! I can’t wait to spend spring and summer days in the huge park area out front!”
“We made a reservation for dinner on Apr 22nd because we went the weekend before and it was 1 1/2 hour wait. The food was really good but small portions. We booked for 5:30pm and left at 8pm and not by choice. We took our 7 year old. His food came within about 20-30 minutes. While we got our miso, edamame and salad one at a time, It took over an hour to get our BBQ meat, and longer to get our bowls of rice. 2 1/2 hours to get our bill (with me stopping someone to ask for the bill). Our son was super excited to cook meat but was getting upset with all the waiting. Quite honestly, the 2 adults with him were too. But I would give it a try again because the food was good”
“I just had a lunch with my friends. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. I especially liked that it also had non spicy foods available although it is famous for its spicy good. I enjoyed the food there.”
“Great food, the lamb shank and the rice are so tender and tasty. Clean and great service”
“The price for dinner combos is really affordable. I came with two other friends to have the 3-4 person combo. We got several plates of meat, assorted veggies, noodles, and sauces.
The quality of meat and veggies are fresh. The atmosphere is nice and the place is clean.
Highly recommend it and I look forward to trying their lunch combo.”
“Food with an original Italian test, pomodoro, Basil, garlic, Santa Cristina’s wine available!!!!! It is like a trattoria italiana”
“Went here for their opening! Shaved ice is amazing!! Got the shrimp meal n that’s great too!! Good vibe! Good staff!!”
“Great food and very good service, better than lots of Chinese restaurant out there”
“The staff are very kind. We have the all you can eat beef and lamb. The soup with mushroon was a good choice. Perfect blend with the meat. Have to book ahead online so that you won't have to wait so long. Best to have groups.”
“What a find Little Karp was. Such creative seafood and the service was outstanding. The Black cod was cooked to perfection as was the spicy squid appetizer and the octopus appetizer. They obviously use high quality fresh seafood. We cant wait to return! Highly recommended!”
“Food is really good! You have your privacy too, 100% would recommend this restaurant”
“First time in and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food in Steveston! The Jalapeño Margaritas is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.”
“Really enjoyed lunch with the curry tendon on rice. Staff was friendly and had a very nice atmosphere. Pleasant Japanese music was playing in the background. Each table had a small traditional dish of pickled daikon. Yummy. Street side parking just outside”
“Been twice now and both times the food has been amazing and very consistent the atmosphere is awesome highly recommend it’s very unique and different style of going out for dinner and well worth the experience”
“The logo looks like a deli/meat store but it’s actually part of a chain. I haven’t tried the others (all a bit different) but this one came highly recommended by our foodie friends. Food: 5/5 - They have 12 must-order dishes including a fried eggplant 🍆 which was SO GOOD. A blast of flavour including spicy, savoury, sweet, and herb-y🌿? It was lightly fried and not too oily. Basically I loved it. Our second dish was not from the must-try only because I’m a huge sucker for sour-spicy clear noodles of any type. Although it was not as good as my favourite version of this dish from the Aberdeen food court (Sichuan style) HOWEVER Richie could actually eat this one because it wasn’t as spicy haha🔥. Essentially a “lighter” version but still packed with flavour. It came on a hard-to-reach, raised bowl but I think that’s easy enough to tweak. The restaurant is still new and feeling things out. Our last dish was an omu-rice mapo tofu (lol) and Richie loved it, “It hits the right flavour in every way - not too salty, not too spicy, great tangy-ness, a little oily but immensely appetizing.” The manager said that they make the chili oil and spices from scratch. Prior to our visit we also tried their “sauce duck” or 酱鸭 which is a “thick” soy sauce, sweet duck (think Cantonese/HK roasted duck but sweet) which might not be for everyone but it’s interesting and worth trying if you like food that’s both sweet and salty. There’s also a Nanjing salted duck that we’ll try next time😊. Service: 4/5 - There was only one server aside from the manager today but both were wonderful at checking in and very quick to react to our needs. It’s also the first weekend of “dining-in” again so I wouldn’t hold it against them. Price: $$ - They have a good mix of affordable and fancy choices alike. Ambiance: 3.5/5 - My only complaint is that it’s a too bright inside (I think mood is very important) and I’m not sure what they want to be. It’s not exactly fine dining nor is it casual, nor fun/hip. But the food is good enough that it doesn’t matter. I think we will enjoying coming here and slowing trying everything. #richmondeats #vancityeats”
“Had a great lunch experience here, the lady who was helping us was very kind and attentive. 2 for $39.99 combo was perfect for two. Overall would recommend visiting if you’re looking to try shabu shabu”
“We wait for one hour and half, but this restaurant was definitely deserved! We ordered crabs which reminded me of my hometown, all the servers were so nice and sweet even though they were crazy busy. Everything is above and beyond here!”
“The food was beautifully presented, but the flavours were pretty mid.
I liked the steak out of everything I had. The hamburger steak was bland. I felt like the sauces couldn’t bring out the flavours of the meat.
Service was nice and I liked the unlimited rice and miso bar. Overall, it was an OK experience, but not a place I would frequent.”
“My wife and I have eaten here frequently over the last 8 years or so. Despite likely changes in ownership the food has remained very good overall. Fish quality seems quite high and fresh. Their rolls are creative and there is an exhaustive menu of choices. Udon is comforting and their bentos are pretty good value with big portions. I often get the steveston Bento and it is ALOT of food but always very satiating. The last visit we had to the Richmond location was in early November 2025 and it was still very good. Will continue going here on our trips to the west coast.”
“LOVE this place! The service is excellent and so is the food - always consistent since they opened. It’s perfect if you want a night out watching sports and having some drinks, or a nice dinner with the family (my kids’ first choice for their birthday dinners).”
“We have been coming here for awhile, even on our anniversary way back! The owners are so sweet and the servers are amazing!! Thanks for serving us for the years we've been coming 😁”
“First time here. The stir fry noodle is too sweet for me. I like the flavor, but maybe is not my type. And the other dish is good, but the spice makes me cough. Maybe is caused by the green pepper. I caughed a lot lol. Good service, but my girlfriend told me it's quite cold inside even they had turn on the heat fan. Hope you guys can get better!”
“Today was our 3rd visit to NamSan . On our first visit we didn't know what to order so my husband asked Jef. Normally we go to places we have been to before and usually order the same items all the time.
Visit 1: Jef suggested # 13 the Sweet BBQ soup with hot pot and #21 the Ox bone soup. I'm low sodium and both dishes were so good. The ox bone soup recipe is Jef's grandmother's, with the broth simmering for hours. The other items are his dad's recipes.
On our second visit on October 1st, Jef suggested #15 Seafood noodle soup and #18 sizzling stone bulgogi on rice. The Seafood soup had a lot of stuff in it and the bulgogi was delicious.
Our visit today, #20 kimchi fried rice with an egg and #21 Ox bone soup which comes with a bowl of rice. I love this soup, it's so good and flavorful with vermicelli, garlic, mochi and sliced meat. It hits the spot on a cold day. We really enjoyed the kimchi rice.
This is a father and son family restaurant with amazing food. Going forward it'll probably be ox bone soup and another dish.”
“Fresh sushi and great presentation! The rolls were delicious, portions generous, and the place had a nice calm vibe. Definitely one of the better sushi spots around Richmond.”
“I went to check out the restaurant. Parking was challenging in the area. My stomach was okay after eating but the oyster motoyaki was a little greasy for me. Food was good otherwise.”
“If you love seafood, this place is fantastic. Been there plenty of times and my personal favourite is oysters, dumplings and hand cut noodles. They gave really good marinated items as well like duck and salmon. Oysters are always fresh. This is one place i ate seafood where I haven't had an upset tummy.
Happy hour items are really good price as well.
Amazing service, the staff is friendly and quick.”
“Had a late dinner of Pork bone soup, it was very good and my wife had the dumpling soup which was also excellent. Service was fast and friendly. We were offered extra kimchi and other garnish for our food a couple of times. The kimchi was excellent! There is the Korean BBQ option if you have the time to cook your own meal.”
“Great little place at #2Rd and Blundell. We got there around 6:30 on a Saturday and got a table immediately, but it was full within 30 min. Tiny place ..maybe only 6 tables for 4. They seemed to be doing a booming takeout business.”
“I found this is the best Chinese restaurant in Vancouver 👍👍👍”
“Seafood platter and large clam chowder was delicious 😋 👍everything else is great, the place, fast service as usual. Kendra is the best, 👍👍”
“What a delightful gem! I had a delicious avocado rosti for lunch, which was absolutely delicious. The team was welcoming and thoughtful from start to finish, and I’m excited for my next visit.”

“The chicken, fires, and gravy are all Excellent! KFC style but so much better! So much better! Chicken is so tasty and not greasy. Fries are fairly thick cut, perfect for dipping in the slightly peppery gravy. I've only tried one of the salads once and it was better than the 2 national brands you can get in the grocery store. This is pretty much a walk-up/take out restaurant (especially since covid--no eat-in anymore). I've only seen the same two people working there all these years. Brother/sister or husband/wife, I assume? They are hard workers putting in long hours 7 days a week. No money has been spent on the "dining room" or menu boards. LOL. They take cash and debit (credit??). Their debit machine has no tap function and is dial up so you need your PIN and a bit of patience. That is also way phone calls don't go through. I have never tried to pre-order by phone. Usually only takes about 10 min to get your order anyway. Can't recommend them enough. When family/friends come into town, I try to make sure we get LA Chicken for them while they are here.”
“This is my favourite restaurant. Dim sum is excellent with loads of variety. The dinner menu also has wonderful dishes. The beef with wasabi is a particular favourite of mine. Food aside, the staff is very attentive and ever so friendly. The owner is very nice as is Sandi who will greet you at the door, so are Eddie, Gary & Ian to name but a few.”
“The best price for high quality food in Richmond,Loved the decorations of the restaurant.lots of free parking places. Very friendly staff provided a decent service. My wife and I were enjoying being there for lunch at least 4 times per week since 2020. We rated 5 stars and 2 thumbs up..”
“Ate at the Buffet at River Rock and enjoyed my meal just fine. Not sure bout the past comments. Perhaps things have changed. Chinese food was good, deep fried squid was great. Lots of seafood and sushi. The beef carving is not prime rib but for beef its fine. No crab anymore but has anyone seen the price of crab? No wonder. So overall good. Lots of salads and desserts plus nice soft ice cream. They said it was new mix! Overall ?”
“Good food, friendly and helpful staffs. Thank you for your excellent customer service this morning when we bought food especially the lady in the cash register with a big smile who gave balloons to my kids and my friend’s children, and the other lady( Ganan) who helped us with our order, provided bag and even arranged our food inside the bag. I highly recommend this place.”

“Fresher ingredients used on average than competing East Indian lunch buffet restaurant in Langley city. Fresh tandoori chicken, fish and goat curries, fresh naan, hot chai tea, large selection of (pasta) salads, layers of flavour in gulabjamun, moist brownies, very friendly service, free parking and cool air conditioning. Shah-bash from my group of 3 for lunch. Will be back.”
“The Fish Man in Richmond has become one of my favorite restaurants in Vancouver. The vibe is lively and packed with local Asian diners, which always gives me confidence in the food. The lighting is warm and bright, and even though the space gets busy, the high ceilings make it easy to have a conversation. The dining area is clean, but the restroom could use improvement.
We ordered the Lingcod with sour cabbage flavor, salted egg yolk lobster, oysters, and a variety of BBQ skewers. Portions are very generous and everything tasted fresh, especially the seafood. The sour cabbage Lingcod is the dish that made me fall in love with this place. I keep coming back hoping to relive that first bite, and it never disappoints.
Service can be hard to flag down when it’s busy, but the staff is friendly and quick once they reach you. The space is large and family friendly.
I’ve visited four times now and always leave happy. I will definitely return every time I’m in Vancouver.”

“I ordered a medium spice chicken livers but unfortunately it was not as spicy as I would have liked. They give you sachets of sauce instead of cooking the chicken livers in medium sauce. I would have liked my peri peri chicken livers cooked that way. The portion was quite small for the price $11.30. My fiance got the vegetarian sandwich which he enjoyed. The staff was friendly. We feel that when we ordered that they should list what sides they have to make more sales. We said that we didn't want sides. But when we got home we thought we should have got sides and landed up going to the 711 for potato wedges $8 for 20 potato wedges.”

“Ok this place is actually really good!! I got the mango pomelo sago and it taste so fresh, not too sweet and perfect tartness from the pomelo to balance out the sweet mango and toppings. I wanna try the others next time. I also love that they use real ingredients, 0 additives, local produce and low in sugar and calories!!”
“I recently tried this viet stall in the public market and I’m really impressed. The whole menu is under $20 with most of the dishes costing around $16. I tried the daily combo ($12) which is eat in only and for the price it’s a really great deal. The springs rolls are fantastic - really crispy and not oily.
The lady who runs the stall is so nice and has the sweetest smile. I’m itching to come back to try some of their other menu items.”
“We’re very grateful to Shawarma2Go for their continued support of the Richmond Masjid through our Friday food sales. The food is always fresh, delicious, and generously portioned. Delivery has always been on time and reliable, which we truly appreciate. The owners are polite, welcoming, and a pleasure to work with. Their professionalism and kindness make every interaction easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended!”
“Loved this coffee shop! The staff was super friendly and my drink came out perfect. The place has a really chill vibe—comfortable seating, good music, and just an overall cozy feel. It’s the kind of spot where you can hang out, get some work done, or just relax with a really good cup of coffee. Definitely coming back!”
“The xiao long bao is very good. Nice and big, very juicy and nicely seasoned and not porky tasting. This small food court stall is making some of the best dumplings around. The pan fried dumplings were also tasty and juicy and the won ton soup was packed with wonton. Service is sooo friendly and welcoming. Worth trying to find this place upstairs in this food court near rice world. They sell out of the pan fried buns so don't go too late!”
“went here in oct. their hk lemon tea was delicious (really accurate to the drink)! i just wish the hojicha was a bit less gritty. i could barely taste the taro and it was all at the bottom with taro pieces. was still a nice warm drink :) will definitely come back for their taiyaki!”
“Another good find if you're interested in Shanghai cuisine. The place is small and parking is limited. But the food is worth the visit. Every dish bursts with flavour especially the Shanghai-style braised pork belly, rich and tender, perfectly paired with the fried rice.
• Black Truffle Steam Dumplings
• Pan Fried Pork Bun
• Shanghai Boiled Chicken
• Shanghai Style Braised Pork Belly
• Shanghai Fried Rice
• Kaofu Gluten Salad
• Purple Potato Rice Cake with Black Sesame.”
“We were here on a rainy Monday afternoon, and it was great that we didn’t need to wait to be seated. There is complimentary fruit dices and sunflower seeds while we were waiting. We ordered rabbit and chicken offals, and both of them were super numbing and spicy, and of course, tasty. The waiter was super attentive, get clean plates and add water before we even asked. Sadly we drove all the way from Calgary here and we can’t come and eat often, but definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes authentic Szechuan food!”
