“Tiffany gave a wonderful wine tasting tour, and was very knowledgeable about the wine and the farm itself. The wine was delicious as well! Loved the 2022 Muscat and 2020 Merlot. Will definitely be back for more 🍷🍷🍷”
“Great decor, bright and clean. Friendly staff. Food was amazing and the dipping sauce was fantastic. We will be going back for sure. We tried regular and spicy broth. Wow spicy was too spicy for us. But the favour was nice. Note. Next we will get regular both, very tasty.”
“First time hot potting. The waiter was so helpful and the food was delicious!!! We will definitely be back again!”
“Spacious seating, yummy food and good value. My son loves this place!”
“I really wanted to try this place during our trip to Canada. We had an excellent time here, the food was delicious and the staff was terrific! Our waiter, Jamie, was so kind and helpful and really made our experience enjoyable! We are pretty new to hotpot, and he helped us find a good combo, as well as helping choose our soup bases, which were delicious. He even made our sauce for us and it tasted really great! Thank you Jamie for your help and care!!! You’re the best!”

“I’ve been coming here for the past year and it’s always been amazing. Today I got a Hawaiian slice and a Honey Basil Pepperoni.
Normally I am not a pepperoni but I was certain Moncton Pizzeria would change my mind. They knock it out of the park with every slice that comes out of the wood burning oven.
I can’t wait till I have time to pop by next time.”

“Great food , great friendly service and staff . This is the only Indian restaurant I will eat at in Steveston. Very clean too.”
“The food was decent. I'm not sure if their posted business hours are accurate, they supposedly don't close until 11:00 PM, but when I was dining there around 8:00 PM, the staff were already sweeping the floors.”

“I had lunch here with friends and it was such a great experience. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavor😆👍
The service really stood out—they made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every bite. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Korean BBQ!”
“"Baan Lao took me on a remarkable culinary journey, featuring Chef Nutcha's, "A Taste of Baan Lao." Each course left me captivated, anticipating the next tantalizing offering. The wine pairings flawlessly complemented the flavours, enhancing the taste adventure. The attentive service staff provided a first-class experience, ensuring every detail was covered. The fusion of Thai and Canadian flavours showcased culinary perfection. Each plate presented an exquisite masterpiece, meticulously crafted as a work of art both in taste and presentation. It was impossible to choose a favourite, as every course was a delight for both the eyes and the taste buds. I wholeheartedly recommend Baan Lao as a must-visit destination. With its inviting atmosphere, exceptional dining experience, and unforgettable flavours, Baan Lao promises to create lasting memories for any food enthusiast. My compliments to the Chef and her team for the exquisite evening and the unique journey that I am eager to revisit! Thank you."”
“The food and service were outstanding. After a long day of travel, the restaurant was a welcome rest. We sampled the prime rib, chicken wings, and wedge salad, all of which were tender and delicious. The staff were accommodating and attentive. We will definitely return on our next visit.”
“We’ve been coming here for years, and the Crispy Eggplant (风味茄子) is still the reason we keep returning. It’s hands down the best crispy eggplant I’ve had in Metro Vancouver—perfectly crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor.
This visit, the Guai Wei Fish (怪味鱼) was a pleasant surprise and ended up being one of our favorite dishes. The Sheng Jiao Fish Fillet, dumplings, and chili oil wontons were all very good as well.
What makes this place special is the combination of delicious food, generous portions, and excellent value. We were sad to hear they may be closing at the end of the month. Restaurants with this level of quality and affordability are getting harder to find.
Hopefully they stay open—I’d hate to lose my favorite crispy eggplant in Vancouver! 🍆❤️”
“Came to Daddy's Grill for Persian food and left with trust issues... because now every other restaurant has to live up to this.
The koobideh was juicy, the rice was perfect, and everything tasted like someone's Persian grandma was personally supervising the kitchen.
Honestly, the food was bomb.com. Daddy can be my daddy anytime.
11/10. Would happily develop a completely unreasonable emotional attachment to this restaurant.”

“This particular location is a hidden gem with lovely crews on board! Special thanks to Harpreet & Amrit who served me the donuts in the counter and another staff who assisted me (apologies i forgot to ask your name) in the app scanning. Lots of thanks for going above and beyond to satisfy customers like ME!👍👍👍👍👍”
“I had such a great experience at this Subway today! The place was clean, everything looked fresh, and my order was made exactly how I liked it. The customer service here is amazing.
A special shoutout to Karam — she was super friendly, patient, and made my sandwich with so much care. You can really tell she enjoys what she does. Thank you, Karam, for the great service! I’ll definitely be coming back.”
“A very, very good airport coffee shop, with a chill area next to it to relax.
Espresso drinks are well made, and the staff are friendly, even for Canadians.
A macchiato is less than $4, and my butter croissant was on sale for 50% off. The prices for other coffee drinks are about $1 higher than in my local coffee shop, which is amazing for airport pricing.
I'm glad I stopped here.”
“This branch offered a really good experience. The burgers were fresh, well-made, and nicely balanced, with soft buns and good-quality ingredients. The order was prepared quickly, and the staff were polite and professional. The place was clean and well organized, and compared to other branches of this brand, this one clearly stands out. I would definitely order from this location again.”
“much, actually waaaaaaay better than the other shop in Richmond. sooooo much difference. Although this shop does not have a perfect environment, pretty dark, but their chicken wings are juicy, and tasty. while the other one on 9100 blundell's chicken wings are so dry!”

Takeout Restaurants
“We went to Car's Dessert and tried all four flavours of their mochi — Aromatic Durian Mochi, Fresh Mango with Cream Mochi, Hawaiian Purple Yam Mochi, and Rich Chestnut Mochi. I would say my favourite is their Durian Mochi with plenty of filling in a thin, soft mochi encasing the durian. I appreciate how they used real chestnut for the Chestnut Mochi. Please take note, they only accept cash unless it's over $20, then they accept debit.”
“I ordered pizza from Uber Eats for pickup and didn’t even realize this location existed—I usually go to another one that’s much farther from my place. I’m so glad I tried this one because the pizza did not disappoint! We got a half-and-half (cheese and veggie) and a butter chicken pizza, and both were absolutely amazing. They were very generous with the toppings—no skimping at all. I’ll definitely be coming back again!”
“Lovely croissant, great coffee 👍🏻”
“I’ve eaten here a few times. When they first opened to the public I was so happy that Soup Curry had finally arrived to Vancouver. The soup was hot and everything cooked to perfection.
I came here recently greeted with lovely staff but the food just wasn’t quite right. The carrot was hard and soup was lukewarm. Reading the reviews, it looks like I wasn’t alone in this experience. The meat was tender though and I enjoyed the flavour profile. One thing I would ask especially since now fall and winter are arriving is that you serve your soup curry hot 🙏🏼 I hope to return next time seeing this change.”

“Very upbeat and yet relaxed and chill place with nice friendly service. Good food and location! Got to watch Loons do their thing too.”

“Been at all their locations, sometimes as part of a 10-person foodie group, trying to "test" this chain versus the "cannot be beaten" Fire Pizza before the owners became absentees. Generally, Uncle's pizza has better ingredients than others, e.g. Freshslice which is just about on every other block. The one on Broadway has consistently better ingredients. Other locations vary in ingredients. The Uncle's at Richmond skytrain has no nearby parking on a strip mall, but it had the best Qi according to a digital fengshui e-compass. This location is popular with Asian clientele despite the Asian eateries next door. The staff in Richmond is very hospitable and the layout is Feng Shui positive. Good job!”
“I love this place! I tried the spicy soup and the spicy+sour soup and both are really delicious. I got the large spicy (one level below the spiciest level) and it is comparable to buldak. If you are a fan of spicy food, definitely try this place! It's in a food court in a old plaza mall so it's not the nicest but I am always able to find a seat without much wait and the lady working at the counter is kind and patient.”
“This place has a non-stop line of people ordering and you can tell why. Their speciality is the Taiwanese style fried chicken leg (boneless) or their Taiwanese salty fried chicken nuggets combo with rice and 3 sides they give you. Before I get into their deliciousness of the chicken, their sides are killer too. They give you a handful of veggies of the day, a thick piece of matinated tofu patty, and soya sauce marinated egg. Protein heaven already. Their chicken is so freshly deep fried, just the right amount of spices, hot, juicy and tender on the inside. Sprinkle some of their red powder on the side if you want more heat. Their portion is huge! They don't skimp out at all! I normally eat 3/4 and pack the rest home. All for $15! Bring cash as with all Richmond vendors!”
“We ordered two pork roujiamo, spicy cold liangpi, handmade youpo noodles, and chicken wonton soup. Everything was so good. The roujiamo was packed with meat and really satisfying. The liangpi and youpo noodles tasted very authentic too. Definitely recommend if you’re craving real Chinese street food 👍”
“The most authentic Viet street food I have tasted so far in Canada! The food and the decoration of the restaurant made me feel like I'd been back to Vietnam. The staff is super attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!”

“Since hubby misses Japan (the food especially) immensely, I decided to bring Japan to him for his birthday! It was more than we could've hoped for from the gracious hosts, Chef Ray and wife Christine, to the gorgeous presentation of each course, the preparations of each item, the texture, the taste and the cosy atmosphere. We savoured each bite, while enjoying the friendly banter between the hosts and a couple of their regulars at the bar seating. Highly recommend! side note: I was impressed by just how meticulous and thoughtful they are when I saw they even put a little decor under the washroom sink.”
“Beautiful omakase spot in Richmond with excellent decor and a very elegant atmosphere. The space is thoughtfully designed and feels refined and comfortable. The food was okay overall, but the presentation was nice and the experience was pleasant. A good spot if you appreciate the ambiance and design.”
“Im from Alberta here for work, this is the 1st club I have been too and let me tell you! We came on a Bollywood night and... It's top notch 👌 The energy, the hospitality, the DANCING! This is the best time I have had ever!!! 10 out of 10 will DEFINITELY be coming here again! If you haven't been here before, do yourself a favor and visit. It will NOT disappoint! FYI, its 20 for cover but, %100 worth it!!! Make sure you come early because it fills up QUICK”

“Sanjida provides truly wonderful customer service. She is friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a positive attitude. Her professionalism and dedication make every interaction smooth and enjoyable. She goes above and beyond to ensure customers feel valued and satisfied. Highly appreciated”
“I was passing Vancouver in transit on 20th July ,stayed overnight and went to the restaurant for having and taking away some chicken pieces for Saint John. NB as there was no P in Saint John. The girl at the counter was so courteous and very customer friendly .The service was very fast. The chicken was very tasty and crispy and prefect .I enjoyed very much and brought pieces to Saint John for my family. All were happy to eat them. I thank the whole team and wish you prosper .”
“The xiao long bao is very good. Nice and big, very juicy and nicely seasoned and not porky tasting. This small food court stall is making some of the best dumplings around. The pan fried dumplings were also tasty and juicy and the won ton soup was packed with wonton. Service is sooo friendly and welcoming. Worth trying to find this place upstairs in this food court near rice world. They sell out of the pan fried buns so don't go too late!”
“I tried this place for the first time yesterday. I had the special cheeseburger with egg . The patty was a good size and fresh meat not frozen, I will definitely go back ! I checked out the other menu items and I am looking forward to trying many of them , the prices are great !”
“MANJEET was Excellent 10 out of 10. She made a very good sub bun and adhered to all my special requests. She also honored the deal on the app even though I was not able to access the app.
Her Excellent customer service is what wilbe the reason I return to the restaurant.”
“By far the best tasting ice cream ever. My favourite is the black sesame - super rich flavour, lots of black sesame in each scoop. The biscoff flavour was also delicious, each bite authentically biscoff. I had the roasted (hojicha?) flavor in the past and it was like eating tea. Definitely good roasted tea flavour. Can’t wait to try the other flavours!! Totally worth it.”
“HEALTHY, super tasting food choices . Fresh vegetables and meats . All prepped infront of their customers ! Basha counter staff pay close attention as well to their customers food allergies 👍. Try Basha at Richmond Centre Food Terrace and you’ll keep coming back !!! I promise 😊”
“Was out in a chilly ride, stopped in for chips, gravy and a coffee.”
“Haven't been to Yuu for a while and we went back last week. Price didn't go up much despite the inflation. Kids order some special drink and the staff even gave them a small ice-cream cone to top it off. Great gesture. Would definitely be going back more often.”
“Mr. Bro has been one of our favorite restaurants for years, and we continue to come back again and again. As regular customers, we've had the opportunity to try many dishes, but the spicy soft tofu stew remains our absolute favorite. It's consistently delicious, comforting, and one of the best we've had.
What truly sets this restaurant apart, however, is the level of care they show their customers. We recently experienced a minor issue during one of our visits, and the follow-up customer service was exceptional. The owner handled the situation with honesty, professionalism, and genuine integrity. It was clear that doing the right thing and ensuring customer satisfaction were important to him.
Anyone can provide good food, but how a business responds when something doesn't go perfectly says a lot about its character. The way this situation was handled only reinforced why we enjoy supporting this restaurant.
We've always loved eating here, and this experience has only strengthened our appreciation for Mr. Bro. Great food, great people, and ownership that genuinely cares about its customers. Highly recommended.”
“First time coming to this place. I admit it's a tricky place to find but it is worth it! I ordered the scallop uni fettuccine and the mentaiko carbonara. Both excellent portions and very tasty! When I come back to Vancouver I'll definitely return to try the other items!”
“Always great food consistency. Been eating there since they were in Vancouver. Definitely a favourite with our family.”
“A hole-in-the-wall restaurant that serves really delicious Shanghainese food! We really enjoyed the eggplant, braised pork belly, preserved veggie noodle soup, pan-fried pork bun, and spicy noodle. The cinnamon fermented milk tea is also very fragrant and I haven't seen it anywhere else. It was such a pleasant surprise to see a restaurant have their take on certain traditional dishes! I've come back 3x now and will be back for sure. Expect a busy crowd on the weeknights!”
“Authentic Vietnamese dishes, tasty foods, good portions. 👍🏻 Salad rolls included special herbs (rau thom & he). 😋 Clean restaurant and nice services. 😍”
“Overall, the food was great. The authentic Taiwanese minced pork rice was a highlight, absolutely loved it. The beef tendon noodles were also delicious, with tender, soft beef. Their deep fried chicken nuggets were especially impressive juicy and flavourful. However, the $9 deep fried fish cake was unexpectedly small, just a few pieces, which was quite disappointing. Service was good.””
“Beautiful setting, the best staff, great wine and delightful entertainment on weekends.”
“I was here for lunch. The persian food and location is awesome. Its right on Stevestons village with beautiful ocean view.
The ambience and service is awesome. People are friendly and helped me to understand the authentic persian food.
We had appies cauliflower dish and eggplant dish with soft persian bread. The eggplant spread with bread is the killer. Must try. Loved it.
The main course lamb shark, prawn biryani and other chicken dish are good. Liked the saffron flavoured rice and well cooked lamb shank. The biryani is also good however it is different from
How Biryani cooked in India food. At the end we had Baclava dessert with persian Chai. I never had such authentic flavourful baclava. It has almost sprinkled on top and inside it is having cardamom flavour. Woow it was mouthful of flavour. Chai is also very tasty.
I would say, eggplant spread with bread as well Baclava dessert is must try at this place.”
“Friendly staff and I love all the foods , margarita Pizza is the best.👌😋”
“The food tastes very good and everyone is so friendly and provide the high quality service”
“A hidden Gem 💎
Went there with 3 friends, the detail of the artwork on the walls is matched by the flavor and attention to detail of the food. This is our new go to sushi spot!”
“I got the best service you can ever get from a Chinese restaurant thanks to Joe! He was amazing server, constantly checked if we needed more water or anything else. Made the first visit worth it. Thank you Joe”

“Wow the food is fantastic. It was very difficult to decide on what to try. I ended up with the “hot & sour dumpling soup” and the “beef slice in Chinese pancake.” Both are a must try.”
“Mushroom soup is so tasty highly recomended serving large portion happy tummy will go back and dine here again when we go back to richmond.”
“I went to this (kind of) hidden gem in Richmond for some quality Japanese food and it DID NOT disappoint. I got the Unagi Set, the Sashimi Set, and the Sushi Set, and the Matcha Gelato.
The place is so well designed with a Japanese style interior!! It was nice and mostly quiet. Service is a bit slow - We tried calling our server over but it took quite a while for them to take our order…
Food was amazing. The tempura which came with the set had a crispy batter and crunch, the udon was perfectly chewy, and they had very nice tea (which is quite surprising.) Fish tasted fresh, unagi sauce was amazing. We ended off with the matcha ice cream, and there was a very strong earthy flavour to it. Only thing I would nitpick on for perfection is their wasabi and their ice cream could be creamier, hence being a gelato.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience here. Reasonable prices, good food, and great staff. Definitely coming again!”
“First time here.. so clean and staff so friendly.. they have 12 different soups to choose.. I need to try few more times😋from March15 to April 15, if u order over $19.9 will get a free draw.. I win a deep fry snacks..”
“The food was absolutely incredible. Every dish came out beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The sushi tasted extremely fresh, and the grilled skewers were perfectly cooked with great seasoning. You can really tell the kitchen puts care into every item on the menu. The portions were also generous for the quality and price.”
“The most authentic little sushi place in Richmond run by a Japanese couple, at a very reasonable price with nice ambiance and tasteful background music. Need to make reservations most of the time though.”
“Nice if you were open till 2 am like The Buck on Friday and Saturday nights, you'd get more business, people wanna party late! Otherwise nice place, family has been coming here since the 1960s.”
“We made a reservation for dinner on Apr 22nd because we went the weekend before and it was 1 1/2 hour wait. The food was really good but small portions. We booked for 5:30pm and left at 8pm and not by choice. We took our 7 year old. His food came within about 20-30 minutes. While we got our miso, edamame and salad one at a time, It took over an hour to get our BBQ meat, and longer to get our bowls of rice. 2 1/2 hours to get our bill (with me stopping someone to ask for the bill). Our son was super excited to cook meat but was getting upset with all the waiting. Quite honestly, the 2 adults with him were too. But I would give it a try again because the food was good”
“Great food, the lamb shank and the rice are so tender and tasty. Clean and great service”
“Fresher ingredients used on average than competing East Indian lunch buffet restaurant in Langley city. Fresh tandoori chicken, fish and goat curries, fresh naan, hot chai tea, large selection of (pasta) salads, layers of flavour in gulabjamun, moist brownies, very friendly service, free parking and cool air conditioning. Shah-bash from my group of 3 for lunch. Will be back.”
“A total hidden gem. The seasoning in every dish was remarkable, and the flavors really blew me away. This is easily a new favorite place! Definitely coming back! Portion size was really good, ordered a combo meal for 2 can definitely feed more than 2 people.”
“Food is really good! You have your privacy too, 100% would recommend this restaurant”
“The fish and chips are of excellent value compared with many seafood restaurants I have visited in the UK and Australia. Excellent value also with a relaxing outdoor atmosphere in Steventon. I would strongly this restaurant😀 to all my friends and anyone new to Vancouver.”
“The logo looks like a deli/meat store but it’s actually part of a chain. I haven’t tried the others (all a bit different) but this one came highly recommended by our foodie friends. Food: 5/5 - They have 12 must-order dishes including a fried eggplant 🍆 which was SO GOOD. A blast of flavour including spicy, savoury, sweet, and herb-y🌿? It was lightly fried and not too oily. Basically I loved it. Our second dish was not from the must-try only because I’m a huge sucker for sour-spicy clear noodles of any type. Although it was not as good as my favourite version of this dish from the Aberdeen food court (Sichuan style) HOWEVER Richie could actually eat this one because it wasn’t as spicy haha🔥. Essentially a “lighter” version but still packed with flavour. It came on a hard-to-reach, raised bowl but I think that’s easy enough to tweak. The restaurant is still new and feeling things out. Our last dish was an omu-rice mapo tofu (lol) and Richie loved it, “It hits the right flavour in every way - not too salty, not too spicy, great tangy-ness, a little oily but immensely appetizing.” The manager said that they make the chili oil and spices from scratch. Prior to our visit we also tried their “sauce duck” or 酱鸭 which is a “thick” soy sauce, sweet duck (think Cantonese/HK roasted duck but sweet) which might not be for everyone but it’s interesting and worth trying if you like food that’s both sweet and salty. There’s also a Nanjing salted duck that we’ll try next time😊. Service: 4/5 - There was only one server aside from the manager today but both were wonderful at checking in and very quick to react to our needs. It’s also the first weekend of “dining-in” again so I wouldn’t hold it against them. Price: $$ - They have a good mix of affordable and fancy choices alike. Ambiance: 3.5/5 - My only complaint is that it’s a too bright inside (I think mood is very important) and I’m not sure what they want to be. It’s not exactly fine dining nor is it casual, nor fun/hip. But the food is good enough that it doesn’t matter. I think we will enjoying coming here and slowing trying everything. #richmondeats #vancityeats”
“Food with an original Italian test, pomodoro, Basil, garlic, Santa Cristina’s wine available!!!!! It is like a trattoria italiana”
“Spicy Pro Hot Pot 8542 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6P 4Z7 Spicy Pro Hot Pot brings a unique and thoroughly enjoyable new dining experience to our neighborhood of Marpole. The aroma of the soup bases wafting from the modest storefront will stop you in your tracks and draw you inside. After choosing from a wide array of ingredients to add to one of three delicious soup bases, you can relax and enjoy the fun and cozy ambiance while the kitchen prepares your dish. When it arrives at your table in a generously large and elegant serving bowl you will immediately notice the care with which it has been assembled. Presentation is not lacking here and the money is being spent in the right place: the kitchen! I and my partner are not light eaters, and we come away stuffed and blissed-out for less than $50. The staff provide patient and thoughtful assistance to new customers choosing their ingredients and spice level for the first time. We love spicy food and usually order things hot, but the mild level is just right for us here.”
“Went here for their opening! Shaved ice is amazing!! Got the shrimp meal n that’s great too!! Good vibe! Good staff!!”
“Delicious afternoon tea set. Savouries are must try!”
“Hands down the BEST Sushi restaurant in Richmond. Very authentic taste. Great price, great service, they even gave coins for the claw machine for my kids. Definitely worth a try!”
“Great food and very good service, better than lots of Chinese restaurant out there”
“My family and I always get the hirekatsu set with a side order of menchikatsu and ebi.
We go to Japan often and we know the difference in taste, quality and service. Saku is the best choice and reminds me of the quality and taste to my favourite place in Tokyo Japan.”
“Seafood platter and large clam chowder was delicious 😋 👍everything else is great, the place, fast service as usual. Kendra is the best, 👍👍”
“Oretachi Curry is easily one of the better spots in Richmond when you’re craving Japanese curry. The curry is rich, smooth, and packed with deep savoury flavour without being overly heavy. The katsu was crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the rice-to-sauce ratio was spot on. Portions are satisfying and everything tastes freshly made. If you’re into Japanese comfort food, this place absolutely delivers.”
“I was pleasantly surprised by how generous the portions were for the price. The food quality was good, and the unlimited side dishes were a great bonus. A solid spot if you’re looking for good value.”
“This has been my favourite spot for hot pot for the past 5 years that I have lived in BC and Richmond, the ladies that work there are so attentive and kind, they always remember my order and my name which is very sweet, always worth the wait quality of the meat is high as well. Worth the $ always.”
“First time in and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food in Steveston! The Jalapeño Margaritas is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.”
“Piping Hot is such a great spot for deep fried food and hotpot! Everything was good and tasty, fresh ingredients, lots of variety to choose from and pay by weight so you can try a bit of everything. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving something flavourful and comforting!”
“This food is insanely delicious! Just the thought of their duck burger and my mouth starts watering. Everything on the menu is amazing- even something simple like onion rings! They should warn you before your first visit because it won’t be your last - highly addictive deliciousness!”
“10/10.
A little hidden gem in Richmond for Taiwanese-style snacks and breakfast foods. The soup dumplings are especially amazing - definitely a must-try local spot!!!”
“We went to celebrate anniversary with my wife and kids, great food great service and great dessert”
“Exceptional sushi! Beware of limited seating so make reservations or be prepared to wait on weekends! Quality is top notch and portions however are questionable for some dishes. For example Sunomono is high but the portion is ridiculously small. I understand prices are up for everything post covid but rice and noodles are still quite reasonable. Parking can be tough at times so be prepared to walk a bit down the street”
“I really enjoyed the smoked salmon wrap and the couscous salad. I definitely recommend this restaurant at YVR.”
“NamSan is a local family owned business with great service and amazing food. The sundae gukbap soup transported me back to Seoul. Definitely one of my favourite Korean restaurants in BC! Highly recommend.”
“I initially had reservations regarding potential gluten exposure; however, after communicating my celiac condition to the waiter, I was assured that appropriate measures would be taken to prevent cross-contamination. My dining experience was highly satisfactory, and I experienced no adverse health effects, which is a significant positive outcome for individuals managing Celiac Disease. I will definitely be back!”
“I think that I finally found the best calamari ever! Great staff. All the food was amazing. We will be back for sure!”

“My favourite hotpot restaurant :) I love the individual hot pot idea and all the ingredients are very fresh and tasty. Always have an amazing experience here”
“We hesitantly walked in while there wasn’t any other tables at 4:45pm. Come to my surprise; they have a huuuge selection of items to choose from! We ordered their marinated jellyfish, beef sashimi, marinated blue crab, crabmeat wontons and a clam soup that was super flavorful! Their marinated sashimi platter is a must get! Their crawfish is meaty spicy and comes with vermicelli and fish tofu. We wanted to order more but we were super full! Definitely will be back for more!”

“The chicken, fires, and gravy are all Excellent! KFC style but so much better! So much better! Chicken is so tasty and not greasy. Fries are fairly thick cut, perfect for dipping in the slightly peppery gravy. I've only tried one of the salads once and it was better than the 2 national brands you can get in the grocery store. This is pretty much a walk-up/take out restaurant (especially since covid--no eat-in anymore). I've only seen the same two people working there all these years. Brother/sister or husband/wife, I assume? They are hard workers putting in long hours 7 days a week. No money has been spent on the "dining room" or menu boards. LOL. They take cash and debit (credit??). Their debit machine has no tap function and is dial up so you need your PIN and a bit of patience. That is also way phone calls don't go through. I have never tried to pre-order by phone. Usually only takes about 10 min to get your order anyway. Can't recommend them enough. When family/friends come into town, I try to make sure we get LA Chicken for them while they are here.”
“Good food, friendly and helpful staffs. Thank you for your excellent customer service this morning when we bought food especially the lady in the cash register with a big smile who gave balloons to my kids and my friend’s children, and the other lady( Ganan) who helped us with our order, provided bag and even arranged our food inside the bag. I highly recommend this place.”

“I was in Richmond BC with my wife and daughter, so I promised myself that I would treat my wife (who is from the Philippines) to a great Asian fish dinner. We weren't disappointed! The food was delicious and the best Asian seafood that I ever had. The Ling Cod was so tasty and melt-in-your-mouth! The black bean sauce with tofu, mushrooms and cabbage was so tasty. To top it off the huge 3 pound lobster in garlic lobster sauce was wonderful. We are coming back for sure and will share this food with a larger group. We took home leftovers and ate for 2 more days.”
“Overall, a good experience at this Tim Hortons. The staff were friendly, my order was prepared correctly, and the restaurant was reasonably clean. Service was decent, although there is still some room for improvement during busy periods.
Nothing exceptional, but a solid and reliable visit. I would stop by again.

“We spent four days in Vancouver and ended up visiting 銀記腸粉 three times. That alone says a lot about how much we enjoyed this place.
As the name suggests, they specialize in rice noodle rolls (腸粉), and they do them exceptionally well. Their 炸兩 (rice noodle roll wrapped around a fried dough stick) was the best I've had in Canada, and possibly the best I can remember anywhere. The fried dough was crisp on the inside, while the rice noodle wrapper was silky, fresh, and cooked to perfection. If you enjoy 炸兩, this is an absolute must-order.
We also tried the boat congee (艇仔粥), which was among the better versions I've had in Canada. Rich, flavorful, and generously filled, it was a pleasant surprise.
Another highlight was the noodle dishes. I ordered the wonton noodle soup on one visit and the beef brisket noodle soup on another. The noodles had the firm, springy texture that many Cantonese noodle shops strive for but often miss. In fact, the texture was better than what I've experienced at both 黎良記 and 沾仔記.
The wontons themselves were somewhat underwhelming, but the beef brisket was excellent—tender, flavorful, and well worth ordering.
The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We have family members with peanut allergies, and when we informed them, they carefully reviewed the ingredients used in their dishes and clearly explained what was safe to order. Their attention to detail and understanding of food allergies gave us a lot of confidence.
This is the kind of place you visit for great food and quick, attentive service. If you're looking for somewhere to grab a delicious meal before continuing on with your day, it's an easy recommendation. If you're planning a long date night and want to linger over conversation for hours, you may be better off elsewhere. Personally, I hope it stays exactly as it is—I appreciate being able to walk in, enjoy excellent food, and be served promptly.”

“Fluffle Cafe officially opened end of August last year, and yes, the hype is real. Come for the bingsoo, especially the Mango Bingsoo, basically every table had one! The mangoes themselves are sweet and juicy, though fair warning: they drizzle an extra sweet mango syrup on top. As for the drinks, let’s just say stick to the desserts. The Strawberry Latte is basically milk with strawberry jam, and the Red Bean Latte has the flavour, but all the ground red beans settle at the bottom, so you might need a serious stir. Go big on the bingsoo, go light on the drinks, and enjoy the cozy vibes!”
“Had an amazing experience at Nukad! Their momos are honestly some of the best Indian-style momos I’ve had. They were super tasty, juicy, and full of flavor. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you love good momos!”
“Great dessert place. You must try the soft serve with the taiyaki. The taiyaki by itself is good, but much much much better with the soft serve. Soft, crunchy, and hot mix with not too sweet but good soft serve ice cream. Awesome match. Setting is ok. Ordering is ok too. Speed is fine for so many people. Worth a try and worth the money.”
“A cozy place to have some really yummy Korean food, super nostalgic flavours! The owner Jessie is amazing, super sweet and inviting. I tried their strawberry croffle, the croffle is crispy and the fruits are fresh. The bubble tea was good too, the pearls are just right. I also tried the fish shape waffles, crunchy yet flavourful. Will come back again!”
