“Excellent service! I have a disability and a major at the winery and Deborah followed up with me with kind words and offered a voucher for 4 people. Tiffany was amazing and was very thorough. She was very accommodating and asked how she could maximize my experience to the winery. All the staff were amazing!”
“Great decor, bright and clean. Friendly staff. Food was amazing and the dipping sauce was fantastic. We will be going back for sure. We tried regular and spicy broth. Wow spicy was too spicy for us. But the favour was nice. Note. Next we will get regular both, very tasty.”
“First time hot potting. The waiter was so helpful and the food was delicious!!! We will definitely be back again!”
“Spacious seating, yummy food and good value. My son loves this place!”
“I really like the soup. Lots of options to put in the hotpot, and the beef is super cheap at night. The spicy beef tallow broth hit the right spot for me, which is great because I don’t find most spicy options satisfying. I also like the fried buns.
If I could ask for one thing though, I would like if there were more option for single people. The prices were definitely made with groups in mind but I would love to go here alone. Otherwise I’m very satisfied.
P.S: I like Jiabao’s style”

“"Baan Lao took me on a remarkable culinary journey, featuring Chef Nutcha's, "A Taste of Baan Lao." Each course left me captivated, anticipating the next tantalizing offering. The wine pairings flawlessly complemented the flavours, enhancing the taste adventure. The attentive service staff provided a first-class experience, ensuring every detail was covered. The fusion of Thai and Canadian flavours showcased culinary perfection. Each plate presented an exquisite masterpiece, meticulously crafted as a work of art both in taste and presentation. It was impossible to choose a favourite, as every course was a delight for both the eyes and the taste buds. I wholeheartedly recommend Baan Lao as a must-visit destination. With its inviting atmosphere, exceptional dining experience, and unforgettable flavours, Baan Lao promises to create lasting memories for any food enthusiast. My compliments to the Chef and her team for the exquisite evening and the unique journey that I am eager to revisit! Thank you."”

“I’ve been coming here for the past year and it’s always been amazing. Today I got a Hawaiian slice and a Honey Basil Pepperoni.
Normally I am not a pepperoni but I was certain Moncton Pizzeria would change my mind. They knock it out of the park with every slice that comes out of the wood burning oven.
I can’t wait till I have time to pop by next time.”

“Great food , great friendly service and staff . This is the only Indian restaurant I will eat at in Steveston. Very clean too.”

“I had lunch here with friends and it was such a great experience. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavor😆👍
The service really stood out—they made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every bite. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Korean BBQ!”
“This is a hidden gem for coffee enthusiasts who appreciate the finer things in life. It’s not just about the coffee; it’s about experiencing the dedication to quality, the skill involved and the importance of supporting such a place. I’m so happy to have discovered a specialty coffee cafe in metro vancouver”
“The food and service were outstanding. After a long day of travel, the restaurant was a welcome rest. We sampled the prime rib, chicken wings, and wedge salad, all of which were tender and delicious. The staff were accommodating and attentive. We will definitely return on our next visit.”
“Food = 5 Star 👏
Wait after food ordering = 5 mins only 👍
Parking = Nightmare 👎
Owners are great with Customer service.. but the employees rush you to eat fast and vacate the place.. Emps have an attitude, but all the 3 owners are awesome and have great smiling customer service. 👏”
“My friends and I were craving Szechuan food and found this gem. Every dish was a flavour bomb with the perfect amount of spice. Friendly service and homey vibes. Staff were helpful in recommending dishes and catering to our dietary restrictions. 10/10 would eat again!”
“Great place! We tried the tteokbokki and corn cheese. The portions are very generous, and were more than enough for two people. The prices were also very affordable, and food was delicious.”

“This particular location is a hidden gem with lovely crews on board! Special thanks to Harpreet & Amrit who served me the donuts in the counter and another staff who assisted me (apologies i forgot to ask your name) in the app scanning. Lots of thanks for going above and beyond to satisfy customers like ME!👍👍👍👍👍”
“I had such a great experience at this Subway today! The place was clean, everything looked fresh, and my order was made exactly how I liked it. The customer service here is amazing.
A special shoutout to Karam — she was super friendly, patient, and made my sandwich with so much care. You can really tell she enjoys what she does. Thank you, Karam, for the great service! I’ll definitely be coming back.”
“hi there, i would like to say im from uruguay so english is not my first language. within this text, i will be using a translator (google translate) to just explain the service i have gotten. today, at feburary 24th, around 2:30 pm. i went to this mcdonalds. at first i was lost, i left the bus at 403, going to richmond centre and found myself lost. i was trying to find the nearest washroom for my kids and i to use the washroom. when we found the mcdonalds after asking a nice bystander and he pointed towards the mcdonalds i was truly happy. i entered the mcdonalds. at first i noticed the establishment was pretty clean. the children working there were very nice, did their work, and cleaned the same table at least 5 times upon inspection, but i digress. afterwards my child of 8 years said i need to use the washroom. i said sure. we went the washroom and upon inspection, we saw the toilet and oh my god. it was disgusting. so much poop was splattered within the water which made me and my child super uncomfortable. we did what was best and instead of using the washroom, we asked the manager and the worker what was happening in the environment. we explained how super uncomfortable we were and notifed the team to ensure to put a sign to tell workers to flush. the flushing needs to be mandatory upon use because things like this are very disgusting and unpleasant for customers and children like me to use. after notifying the team, i told them i will never come back, but the ordered a mccoffee. and oh wow. the coffee was amazing. the coffee tasted like caffine, and was hot. i was very pleasant about the coffee, but would like to advise the managing team to do something about toilets. it is gross.
will be going to another establishment in hopes of a clean and flushed toilet, but keep on working with the coffee as it is great.
thank you”
“A very, very good airport coffee shop, with a chill area next to it to relax.
Espresso drinks are well made, and the staff are friendly, even for Canadians.
A macchiato is less than $4, and my butter croissant was on sale for 50% off. The prices for other coffee drinks are about $1 higher than in my local coffee shop, which is amazing for airport pricing.
I'm glad I stopped here.”
“I got a large order for 6 people at this location on a Sunday morning including burgers during breakfast time and they got the food out so fast! The food tasted great too and I haven’t been inside for the last while, they renovated with new tables and chairs so it looks pretty cozy. Will eat in with my family next time!”
“This branch offered a really good experience. The burgers were fresh, well-made, and nicely balanced, with soft buns and good-quality ingredients. The order was prepared quickly, and the staff were polite and professional. The place was clean and well organized, and compared to other branches of this brand, this one clearly stands out. I would definitely order from this location again.”
“Had a wonderful experience at this Church’s Chicken location today. The food was hot, fresh, and full of flavor, but the service is what truly stood out. The team was warm, attentive, and made the whole visit feel welcoming. The managers were especially impressive—professional, kind, and making sure every customer was taken care of.”
“I’ve eaten here a few times. When they first opened to the public I was so happy that Soup Curry had finally arrived to Vancouver. The soup was hot and everything cooked to perfection.
I came here recently greeted with lovely staff but the food just wasn’t quite right. The carrot was hard and soup was lukewarm. Reading the reviews, it looks like I wasn’t alone in this experience. The meat was tender though and I enjoyed the flavour profile. One thing I would ask especially since now fall and winter are arriving is that you serve your soup curry hot 🙏🏼 I hope to return next time seeing this change.”

“One of the best restaurant in Richmond !
I’ve been going to Valmont cafe for over a year and always have Amazing dishes . The atmosphere is warm, professional, and incredibly clean. Jenny does the best Vietnamese sub , noodles soup is one of my favourite . Specially that the restaurant has Robot services , brings foods to each table 😃”
“Lovely croissant, great coffee 👍🏻”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Been at all their locations, sometimes as part of a 10-person foodie group, trying to "test" this chain versus the "cannot be beaten" Fire Pizza before the owners became absentees. Generally, Uncle's pizza has better ingredients than others, e.g. Freshslice which is just about on every other block. The one on Broadway has consistently better ingredients. Other locations vary in ingredients. The Uncle's at Richmond skytrain has no nearby parking on a strip mall, but it had the best Qi according to a digital fengshui e-compass. This location is popular with Asian clientele despite the Asian eateries next door. The staff in Richmond is very hospitable and the layout is Feng Shui positive. Good job!”
“This food stall is located in Yaohan Center and saw a youtuber eat here so came to try it. Ordered their pork spareribs (they called it pork chop?) and chicken claypot rice. It takes around 15-20 mins to make as they do this fresh so it comes out piping hot even if you wait for it to cool down after 1/2 hour. You also get to choose level of spicyness which I thought was interesting (we ordered mild).
They give you the claypot with soup, soy sauce and pickled veggies. Everything was good and especially the scorched rice at the bottom of the inside pot. My only minor complaint was the pork spareribs had a lot of cartilage and were smaller pieces so a lot of chewing was required. Will come back again to try their noodle dishes.”
“This place is inside a food court. They had Taiwanese bento that was totally authentic! The popcorn chicken was fresh and crispy, and the portions were huge, it was so much that my friend and I only managed to eat half! The side dishes were pretty great too. I honestly enjoyed all of them! The vegetables were served cold, which was a nice contrast to the deep-fried main dish.
Highly recommend!”
“We ordered two pork roujiamo, spicy cold liangpi, handmade youpo noodles, and chicken wonton soup. Everything was so good. The roujiamo was packed with meat and really satisfying. The liangpi and youpo noodles tasted very authentic too. Definitely recommend if you’re craving real Chinese street food 👍”
“Since hubby misses Japan (the food especially) immensely, I decided to bring Japan to him for his birthday! It was more than we could've hoped for from the gracious hosts, Chef Ray and wife Christine, to the gorgeous presentation of each course, the preparations of each item, the texture, the taste and the cosy atmosphere. We savoured each bite, while enjoying the friendly banter between the hosts and a couple of their regulars at the bar seating. Highly recommend! side note: I was impressed by just how meticulous and thoughtful they are when I saw they even put a little decor under the washroom sink.”
“I dined here for lunch a few days ago with some friends. We ordered different pasta dishes to share and we all ate the matcha tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Noodles were cooked perfectly, and all the sauces had the right amount of seasoning (nothing was lacking or overpowering the dish). The dessert was very tasty and not super sugary as other desserts can be.
Since this was during the lunch time rush, the restaurant was fully seated with people waiting for a table. The service was quick and attentive. Our water was refilled and the server made sure to check on us and how our meal was. We did not feel rushed nor ignored.
I feel the owner and the staff have corrected a lot of the concerns it seems people have had with negative reviews. This is now one of my favourite restaurants in Richmond and I will be coming back many more times.”
“Meilleur déjeuner que j'ai mangé! Wow! Le toast au procuitto et burrata, wow! 😍❤️ Le service est très rapide. Par contre, c'est très bruyant même pour un mardi midi.”
“My friends and I were craving Szechuan food and found this gem. Every dish was a flavour bomb with the perfect amount of spice. Friendly service and homey vibes. Staff were helpful in recommending dishes and catering to our dietary restrictions. 10/10 would eat again!”
Fine Dining
“We went there for the first time, and we had a great time. Unfortunately we had to make a lot of last minute changes to our reservation, but the staff was so great about it. Jenny did my booking and was so helpful and informative. I really appreciated how accommodating she was. When we got there, our room was still being used, and the general manager, Vicky, was graciousness enough to offer us a larger room for the price of the small one. We will definitely be coming back here again”
“This place is ‘private kitchen’ 私房菜。 No menus, you can tell the chef your preferences. We had a vegetarian feast with 11 people.
They have a few private rooms that can sit 12 + people, a few open tables for 4 to 10. Possibly rooms upstairs (didn’t confirm).
We had 20 different dishes served to us including one soup and one dessert.
All the dishes were nicely plated.
They have the biggest lazy susan I’ve ever seen
The service was excellent. Definitely recommend.”
“The restaurant has moved to a new location, search Lavash Seaside Grill on google map for their newest location, right by the fisherman's wharf.
their new menu has a variety of options. I enjoyed Kebab and dessert.”
“Haven't been to Yuu for a while and we went back last week. Price didn't go up much despite the inflation. Kids order some special drink and the staff even gave them a small ice-cream cone to top it off. Great gesture. Would definitely be going back more often.”
Cheap Eats
“Just finished work this morning and went straight here just for this. I was so curious about it. I need to go here every weekend since their cream puffs are only available on that day. I bought some for my husband for breakfast, and thank God there’s a matcha one for me too. I’ll update about the taste. I bet it’s delicious! Thank you!”
“**Edit : I had a do over with the previous sandwiches and they were fresh and delicious.
I also followed up by ordering some extra wings that were just as good as the sandwiches. The taste and the reason I like to frequent this establishment.**
Used to be really good when it just opened.
Tray wasn't even cleaned properly. Was greasy when I went to pick it up.
Luckily I asked for fresh fries or would have gotten stale fries like my chicken.
Chicken sandwich was lukewarm and wasn't crispy.
Food is good when fresh. But when it isn't it's really bad.”
“I was passing Vancouver in transit on 20th July ,stayed overnight and went to the restaurant for having and taking away some chicken pieces for Saint John. NB as there was no P in Saint John. The girl at the counter was so courteous and very customer friendly .The service was very fast. The chicken was very tasty and crispy and prefect .I enjoyed very much and brought pieces to Saint John for my family. All were happy to eat them. I thank the whole team and wish you prosper .”
“Great cheap fast eat option at Steveston village. Staff is always pleasant and fast. Lot of options with single slides purchase.
Hidden gem since it's tucked away in corner spot.
Always a hit with the kids since they give out free balloon for the little ones.
Great discount for students too!”

“A hole-in-the-wall restaurant that serves really delicious Shanghainese food! We really enjoyed the eggplant, braised pork belly, preserved veggie noodle soup, pan-fried pork bun, and spicy noodle. The cinnamon fermented milk tea is also very fragrant and I haven't seen it anywhere else. It was such a pleasant surprise to see a restaurant have their take on certain traditional dishes! I've come back 3x now and will be back for sure. Expect a busy crowd on the weeknights!”
“Great choices of food. Acceptable service. A little on the pricier side almost $20 a dish but great portions. They have a late night menu where some food is made into combos and is a bit cheaper
Downside:
1 person per washroom. Men and women
A little expensive”
“Overall, the food was great. The authentic Taiwanese minced pork rice was a highlight, absolutely loved it. The beef tendon noodles were also delicious, with tender, soft beef. Their deep fried chicken nuggets were especially impressive juicy and flavourful. However, the $9 deep fried fish cake was unexpectedly small, just a few pieces, which was quite disappointing. Service was good.””
“Spicy Pro Hot Pot 8542 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6P 4Z7 Spicy Pro Hot Pot brings a unique and thoroughly enjoyable new dining experience to our neighborhood of Marpole. The aroma of the soup bases wafting from the modest storefront will stop you in your tracks and draw you inside. After choosing from a wide array of ingredients to add to one of three delicious soup bases, you can relax and enjoy the fun and cozy ambiance while the kitchen prepares your dish. When it arrives at your table in a generously large and elegant serving bowl you will immediately notice the care with which it has been assembled. Presentation is not lacking here and the money is being spent in the right place: the kitchen! I and my partner are not light eaters, and we come away stuffed and blissed-out for less than $50. The staff provide patient and thoughtful assistance to new customers choosing their ingredients and spice level for the first time. We love spicy food and usually order things hot, but the mild level is just right for us here.”
“I’ve been to the location in Vancouver and I wanted to see if the new Richmond location was just as good…and it was even better IMO. The seating is more spacious and the interior is more welcoming with nicer decor and ambiance! The service was attentive and the food is just as amazing! My ultimate fav is the Phnom Penh noodle soup, which they are most known for! The soup broth hits the spot, and you def need to order it if it’s your first time visiting! The appetizer platter is also a great option to try it all and they have a large drink menu to choose from, which my kids really enjoyed. This is a wonderful family restaurant and I highly recommend a visit.”
“Always great food consistency. Been eating there since they were in Vancouver. Definitely a favourite with our family.”
“Our go-to spot for Vietnamese food! We absolutely love the butter beef, pho, spring rolls, and chicken wings — everything is always so fresh and flavorful. We’ve been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!
The food is honestly so good that we usually devour it before we even remember to take photos 😅”
“Friendly service, great food and an amazing setting on the water. Beautiful location! We were there for a birthday and we felt very well taken care of! Staff is so enthusiastic! Thanks Milltown!”
“We loved our experience there. Food was delicious, staff were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this place for a good hot pot! PS we didn't get anything for a review lol, I wish tho! I'm posting this just because I truly enjoyed this place.”
“One of the few Chinese restaurant that still have dim sum cart going around instead of placing your order. Main advantage of dim sum cart is you can see how it looks like instead of just a dish on the menu. And you can have your favorite food right away.
Since their food is very reasonably priced so parking is challenging and you may have to wait over half hour during weekends lunch time. Waiting on Sunday started as early as 11am and still a line when we left before 2pm.”
“The food tastes very good and everyone is so friendly and provide the high quality service”
“Was out in a chilly ride, stopped in for chips, gravy and a coffee.”
“Such a great atmosphere and food, I love a warm cozy and welcoming Izakaya with good food !
Tons of anime decor, and apparently one of the chefs did all of the paintings all over the walls !”
“Outstanding friendly service from the enthusiastic and attentive staff❣️Above & beyond food especially the lunch bento❣️”
“First time here.. so clean and staff so friendly.. they have 12 different soups to choose.. I need to try few more times😋from March15 to April 15, if u order over $19.9 will get a free draw.. I win a deep fry snacks..”
“Wow the food is fantastic. It was very difficult to decide on what to try. I ended up with the “hot & sour dumpling soup” and the “beef slice in Chinese pancake.” Both are a must try.”
“Mushroom soup is so tasty highly recomended serving large portion happy tummy will go back and dine here again when we go back to richmond.”
“We had a wonderful dining experience at this sushi bar. The food was exceptional, with incredibly fresh seafood that truly melts in your mouth. We ordered the sushi platter that came with an assortment of sushi and Chawammushi. The Chawanmushi was rich and comforting, and the uni was wonderfully fresh and delicate. The tempura was cooked to perfection—crispy yet light, not too greasy. Order the uni bombs to get the fresh uni in that light crispy tempura batter.
One standout dish was the slow-cooked braised beef, which was so tender it fell right off the bone. To finish the meal, the matcha crème brûlée was the perfect dessert—balanced, creamy, and not overly sweet.
Service was professional throughout the evening. One small note: cell service inside the restaurant is limited, so be sure to ask for the Wi-Fi password upon arrival.
Overall, this is a place we would happily return to and highly recommend for an elevated and memorable dining experience.”
“Nice if you were open till 2 am like The Buck on Friday and Saturday nights, you'd get more business, people wanna party late! Otherwise nice place, family has been coming here since the 1960s.”
“Really enjoyed this Japanese spot!
The mentaiko udon was definitely my favorite – super rich and flavorful, and the little pops of roe in every bite were so satisfying. The noodles were chewy and cooked just right.
The chawanmushi (steamed egg) was amazing too – silky smooth with shrimp and salmon roe on top, which added a nice depth of flavor. So comforting when it’s warm!
The agedashi tofu had a great texture – they used firm tofu with a crispy outside and soft center, and the savory sauce brought everything together.
We also had the eel sushi roll, which was perfectly balanced – not too sweet, and the eel had a nice charred flavor.
And big shout-out to the staff – super kind and attentive. The whole dining experience felt cozy and welcoming. Definitely coming back!”
“Beautiful setting, the best staff, great wine and delightful entertainment on weekends.”
“Edomae sushi at a reasonable price. Popular sushi joint. Clean minimalist decor. 6pm reservation. My wife really enjoys coming here. I feel that they can better improve on their rice preparation as it's a bit gummy and mashed. It ought to be distinct, plump and glossy. The 90 minutes time limit is a bit tight but we happily oblige because we want to see this kind and hospitable husband and wife team succeed and serve more waiting customers.”
“What an amazing addition to the community. They have a great selection of their own beer, amazing cocktails (highly recommend the smashed apple) and a really great assortment of food! My new favourite place! I can’t wait to spend spring and summer days in the huge park area out front!”
“We made a reservation for dinner on Apr 22nd because we went the weekend before and it was 1 1/2 hour wait. The food was really good but small portions. We booked for 5:30pm and left at 8pm and not by choice. We took our 7 year old. His food came within about 20-30 minutes. While we got our miso, edamame and salad one at a time, It took over an hour to get our BBQ meat, and longer to get our bowls of rice. 2 1/2 hours to get our bill (with me stopping someone to ask for the bill). Our son was super excited to cook meat but was getting upset with all the waiting. Quite honestly, the 2 adults with him were too. But I would give it a try again because the food was good”
“Great food, the lamb shank and the rice are so tender and tasty. Clean and great service”
“I know this is a big name for Sichuan style cuisines, especially in fish. So we order a family set for 4 ppl. We were both satisfied with the portions and the taste. Overall it was very delicious. Not too salty, ingredients were fresh and good environment.”
“Food is really good! You have your privacy too, 100% would recommend this restaurant”
“The logo looks like a deli/meat store but it’s actually part of a chain. I haven’t tried the others (all a bit different) but this one came highly recommended by our foodie friends. Food: 5/5 - They have 12 must-order dishes including a fried eggplant 🍆 which was SO GOOD. A blast of flavour including spicy, savoury, sweet, and herb-y🌿? It was lightly fried and not too oily. Basically I loved it. Our second dish was not from the must-try only because I’m a huge sucker for sour-spicy clear noodles of any type. Although it was not as good as my favourite version of this dish from the Aberdeen food court (Sichuan style) HOWEVER Richie could actually eat this one because it wasn’t as spicy haha🔥. Essentially a “lighter” version but still packed with flavour. It came on a hard-to-reach, raised bowl but I think that’s easy enough to tweak. The restaurant is still new and feeling things out. Our last dish was an omu-rice mapo tofu (lol) and Richie loved it, “It hits the right flavour in every way - not too salty, not too spicy, great tangy-ness, a little oily but immensely appetizing.” The manager said that they make the chili oil and spices from scratch. Prior to our visit we also tried their “sauce duck” or 酱鸭 which is a “thick” soy sauce, sweet duck (think Cantonese/HK roasted duck but sweet) which might not be for everyone but it’s interesting and worth trying if you like food that’s both sweet and salty. There’s also a Nanjing salted duck that we’ll try next time😊. Service: 4/5 - There was only one server aside from the manager today but both were wonderful at checking in and very quick to react to our needs. It’s also the first weekend of “dining-in” again so I wouldn’t hold it against them. Price: $$ - They have a good mix of affordable and fancy choices alike. Ambiance: 3.5/5 - My only complaint is that it’s a too bright inside (I think mood is very important) and I’m not sure what they want to be. It’s not exactly fine dining nor is it casual, nor fun/hip. But the food is good enough that it doesn’t matter. I think we will enjoying coming here and slowing trying everything. #richmondeats #vancityeats”
“This food is insanely delicious! Just the thought of their duck burger and my mouth starts watering. Everything on the menu is amazing- even something simple like onion rings! They should warn you before your first visit because it won’t be your last - highly addictive deliciousness!”
“Went here for their opening! Shaved ice is amazing!! Got the shrimp meal n that’s great too!! Good vibe! Good staff!!”
“Food with an original Italian test, pomodoro, Basil, garlic, Santa Cristina’s wine available!!!!! It is like a trattoria italiana”
“The food was great but the service was slow and the food didn't come out at the same time. We waited for a long time to get our check. We liked the environment and location. More attention to details would go a long way !”
“Great food and very good service, better than lots of Chinese restaurant out there”
“My family and I always get the hirekatsu set with a side order of menchikatsu and ebi.
We go to Japan often and we know the difference in taste, quality and service. Saku is the best choice and reminds me of the quality and taste to my favourite place in Tokyo Japan.”
“First time in and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food in Steveston! The Jalapeño Margaritas is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.”
“Oretachi Curry is easily one of the better spots in Richmond when you’re craving Japanese curry. The curry is rich, smooth, and packed with deep savoury flavour without being overly heavy. The katsu was crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the rice-to-sauce ratio was spot on. Portions are satisfying and everything tastes freshly made. If you’re into Japanese comfort food, this place absolutely delivers.”
“Seafood platter and large clam chowder was delicious 😋 👍everything else is great, the place, fast service as usual. Kendra is the best, 👍👍”
“Piping Hot is such a great spot for deep fried food and hotpot! Everything was good and tasty, fresh ingredients, lots of variety to choose from and pay by weight so you can try a bit of everything. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving something flavourful and comforting!”
“If you're looking for a truly authentic shabu-shabu meal, Gokudo is a great choice. They carefully select and serve fresh, delicious seafood and meat ingredients, using wooden, non-plastic tableware. Today is New Year's Eve, and I was impressed by Julie, a staff member, who was incredibly efficient and dedicated in serving customers. My suggestion is that customers could help themselves to the scallions, garlic, and satay sauce. Given the current situation, as long as there's no waste, it would be more convenient for both the restaurant and the customers. Thank you!”
“Pretty decent and authentic Korean restaurant in North Richmond. We tried the 6 person combo and there was a lot of food! It's cooked in the kitchen instead of BBQ'ing yourself, which is fine for us.
We ordered a little extra just in case and we probably didn't need to as the portions are fairly generous.
Lots of tables and parking, but we went during lunch, so it's hard to say if reservation is needed.”
“We went to celebrate anniversary with my wife and kids, great food great service and great dessert”
“Excellent skewers! Good tofu soup. Friendly service. We came in just before the Friday night rush, so the place and the parking lot were not busy yet. But by the time we were leaving, it was much busier.”
“I really enjoyed the smoked salmon wrap and the couscous salad. I definitely recommend this restaurant at YVR.”
“NamSan is a local family owned business with great service and amazing food. The sundae gukbap soup transported me back to Seoul. Definitely one of my favourite Korean restaurants in BC! Highly recommend.”
“My wife and I have eaten here frequently over the last 8 years or so. Despite likely changes in ownership the food has remained very good overall. Fish quality seems quite high and fresh. Their rolls are creative and there is an exhaustive menu of choices. Udon is comforting and their bentos are pretty good value with big portions. I often get the steveston Bento and it is ALOT of food but always very satiating. The last visit we had to the Richmond location was in early November 2025 and it was still very good. Will continue going here on our trips to the west coast.”
“getting takeout and the staff is very sweet ! my best friend and i love coming here whenever we're together.
thai box fried rice with chicken is always my go to”
“LOVE this place! The service is excellent and so is the food - always consistent since they opened. It’s perfect if you want a night out watching sports and having some drinks, or a nice dinner with the family (my kids’ first choice for their birthday dinners).”
“We have been coming here for awhile, even on our anniversary way back! The owners are so sweet and the servers are amazing!! Thanks for serving us for the years we've been coming 😁”
“Hot Pot restaurant. Very small and humble place. You pick up your own food choices including your choice of broth and you pay by the weight. Incredible selection to choose from - meet, sea food , fish , vegetables and sauces. The kitchen at the back has cocked it for us and brought it to our table.Everything was delicious ; myself and my friend were very impressed with the quality and the level of freshness . The place is very clean and the staff were very friendly. The cost of our lunch was very reasonable and by the end we have got ice cream for dessert.I will definitely come back to this place.”
“Fantastic flavour and very generous portion size. Also very kid friendly. I noticed they played happy birthday on the speaker system for a family birthday celebration. What a nice touch!”
“Tried Gami Sushi for the first time and it did not disappoint. The rolls were fresh and well made, and the sashimi melted in my mouth. Service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was calm and comfortable. Highly recommend if you’re craving good quality sushi.”
“Yep, still my favorite lamb restaurant. This was my fourth or more visit over the past 5 years, and they've been very consistently delicious. All the lamb we've ever had has been deliciously tender. The cold marinated daikon carrots, the flatbreads, the wok-fried cauliflower, and the hand pulled noodle lamb soup are my favorites. The lamb soup is nice and rich and flavorful. Other good things include the lamb ribs and the lamb fried rice (no cumin, so a lighter flavor than I'm used to, and nicely smoky from the high heat in the wok. Pretty rich, but very delicious). They're very popular, especially on weekends, so be prepared for a wait (I was lucky this time). Generally, food is on the rich side, so come prepared to drink the automatically offered (mild) Chinese black tea.”
“If you love seafood, this place is fantastic. Been there plenty of times and my personal favourite is oysters, dumplings and hand cut noodles. They gave really good marinated items as well like duck and salmon. Oysters are always fresh. This is one place i ate seafood where I haven't had an upset tummy.
Happy hour items are really good price as well.
Amazing service, the staff is friendly and quick.”
“Food was good! Well worth the price, because of the quality of the meat. We were worried about portion wise, but it was good enough. Unlimited refills of self-serve soups: miso and a specialty soup, and there's option for toppings to add to the soup. Note the soup is very hot! Parking is ok.”

“The chicken, fires, and gravy are all Excellent! KFC style but so much better! So much better! Chicken is so tasty and not greasy. Fries are fairly thick cut, perfect for dipping in the slightly peppery gravy. I've only tried one of the salads once and it was better than the 2 national brands you can get in the grocery store. This is pretty much a walk-up/take out restaurant (especially since covid--no eat-in anymore). I've only seen the same two people working there all these years. Brother/sister or husband/wife, I assume? They are hard workers putting in long hours 7 days a week. No money has been spent on the "dining room" or menu boards. LOL. They take cash and debit (credit??). Their debit machine has no tap function and is dial up so you need your PIN and a bit of patience. That is also way phone calls don't go through. I have never tried to pre-order by phone. Usually only takes about 10 min to get your order anyway. Can't recommend them enough. When family/friends come into town, I try to make sure we get LA Chicken for them while they are here.”
“The best price for high quality food in Richmond,Loved the decorations of the restaurant.lots of free parking places. Very friendly staff provided a decent service. My wife and I were enjoying being there for lunch at least 4 times per week since 2020. We rated 5 stars and 2 thumbs up..”
“Good food, friendly and helpful staffs. Thank you for your excellent customer service this morning when we bought food especially the lady in the cash register with a big smile who gave balloons to my kids and my friend’s children, and the other lady( Ganan) who helped us with our order, provided bag and even arranged our food inside the bag. I highly recommend this place.”
“HEALTHY, super tasting food choices . Fresh vegetables and meats . All prepped infront of their customers ! Basha counter staff pay close attention as well to their customers food allergies 👍. Try Basha at Richmond Centre Food Terrace and you’ll keep coming back !!! I promise 😊”

“Fresher ingredients used on average than competing East Indian lunch buffet restaurant in Langley city. Fresh tandoori chicken, fish and goat curries, fresh naan, hot chai tea, large selection of (pasta) salads, layers of flavour in gulabjamun, moist brownies, very friendly service, free parking and cool air conditioning. Shah-bash from my group of 3 for lunch. Will be back.”
“If you're about food and aren't concerned with ambience and that sort of thing, definitely worth checking out. It's pretty rough around the edges: It's a crowded dining room, my water kind of tasted like 7up, The crab wasn't really cracked and no tools to do so. The food is definitely above average though. Portions are pretty generous, better with a group, not a great date spot.
We came here to eat and I'd come back for that reason”
“I was passing Vancouver in transit on 20th July ,stayed overnight and went to the restaurant for having and taking away some chicken pieces for Saint John. NB as there was no P in Saint John. The girl at the counter was so courteous and very customer friendly .The service was very fast. The chicken was very tasty and crispy and prefect .I enjoyed very much and brought pieces to Saint John for my family. All were happy to eat them. I thank the whole team and wish you prosper .”
“Ate at the Buffet at River Rock and enjoyed my meal just fine. Not sure bout the past comments. Perhaps things have changed. Chinese food was good, deep fried squid was great. Lots of seafood and sushi. The beef carving is not prime rib but for beef its fine. No crab anymore but has anyone seen the price of crab? No wonder. So overall good. Lots of salads and desserts plus nice soft ice cream. They said it was new mix! Overall ?”
“In this miserable, wet weather, I ordered a hot coffee and a donut on the app. But I messed up and sent it to the wrong location, and only realized it after I walked in. The girl at the counter was so nice and sweet though-she made me the coffee anyway and jokingly reminded me to get a refund from the other location in Alberta.
Her kindness and the smile warmed me up more than the hot coffee did.”

“Fluffle Cafe officially opened end of August last year, and yes, the hype is real. Come for the bingsoo, especially the Mango Bingsoo, basically every table had one! The mangoes themselves are sweet and juicy, though fair warning: they drizzle an extra sweet mango syrup on top. As for the drinks, let’s just say stick to the desserts. The Strawberry Latte is basically milk with strawberry jam, and the Red Bean Latte has the flavour, but all the ground red beans settle at the bottom, so you might need a serious stir. Go big on the bingsoo, go light on the drinks, and enjoy the cozy vibes!”
“Had an amazing experience at Nukad! Their momos are honestly some of the best Indian-style momos I’ve had. They were super tasty, juicy, and full of flavor. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you love good momos!”
“The xiao long bao is very good. Nice and big, very juicy and nicely seasoned and not porky tasting. This small food court stall is making some of the best dumplings around. The pan fried dumplings were also tasty and juicy and the won ton soup was packed with wonton. Service is sooo friendly and welcoming. Worth trying to find this place upstairs in this food court near rice world. They sell out of the pan fried buns so don't go too late!”
“Great dessert place. You must try the soft serve with the taiyaki. The taiyaki by itself is good, but much much much better with the soft serve. Soft, crunchy, and hot mix with not too sweet but good soft serve ice cream. Awesome match. Setting is ok. Ordering is ok too. Speed is fine for so many people. Worth a try and worth the money.”
“A cozy place to have some really yummy Korean food, super nostalgic flavours! The owner Jessie is amazing, super sweet and inviting. I tried their strawberry croffle, the croffle is crispy and the fruits are fresh. The bubble tea was good too, the pearls are just right. I also tried the fish shape waffles, crunchy yet flavourful. Will come back again!”
