“One of the best dumplings I've tried! The line on weekends lunch wasn't too bad, it was about 30min ish. Everything was just on point! I was shocked to see the XLB to be see through but yet it wouldn't break. My favorite was the mala spicy XLB, the soup was delicious with just a little bit of a kick of the numbing spicy flavor! The spicy red chili dumpling was filled with the nutty flavor of peanut with just a dap of chili oil for the fragrance. Hands down one of the best dumpling places that I wouldn't mind waiting in line for~“
“Mensho Tokyo SF offers a unique experience in the heart of San Francisco, elevating the classic ramen to an exquisite level. Upon entering, guests are welcomed into a minimalist yet warm space, where the focus is clearly on the culinary art of ramen making. The star of the menu is undoubtedly the Tori Paitan ramen. The broth is rich and creamy, a result of meticulous simmering that draws out the deep flavors of chicken bones. It’s silky yet intensely flavorful, serving as the perfect base for the perfectly cooked, springy noodles.Mensho also excels in its vegetarian offerings, particularly the Tomato ramen, which presents a novel twist on traditional flavors with a broth that’s both tangy and savory, topped with a generous slice of cheese that melts into the hot soup. The attention to detail extends to their service, which is both efficient and courteous, making the dining experience seamless from start to finish. In conclusion, Mensho Tokyo SF is a must-visit for both ramen enthusiasts and novices alike, offering a thoughtful blend of traditional techniques and innovative flavors that push the boundaries of this beloved dish.“
“I get the hype - food is delicious. We had a galbi bibimbap and the braised beef rib / oxtail kalbijjim. So flavorful and meat very tender. We were 4 people and probably would have been full with just the large kalbijjim, as we had trouble finishing everything. Servers were really friendly and kept the banchan plentiful. Also, the kimchi was one of the better kimchi’s I’ve had. Great meal, I will be back!Parking: Large public parking lot across the street“
“Incredible food, everything on the menu was delicious and unique. I could eat the prawns all day and the crab fried rice was next level. My coworker ordered a little bit of everything and there wasn't a single thing that we had that I didn't love. I don't often give places 5 star reviews but this one is worth it, the only downside is maybe it's a little pricey but come here with a big group and split a bunch of plates and you will walk away full and for less than a fancy tasting menu. Also, apparently the $90 tasting menu is really good, so I'll be back again to try that :)“
“I grew up in a Chinese restaurant so my bar for any kind of Chinese food is very high. There are rarely ever any Chinese restaurants that I'd return to, never mind feel confident in bringing other people with me... this is one of those rare gems. Not only is the food fantastic, but the service has been really nice. I love this place and would recommend a visit to try any of their items. My favorites are the pan fried pork juicy bao, braised beef noodle soup, green beans, and pig ears. All of their recipes are super authentic.“
“By their own standards, this place is doing a good job. I found it a little overbearing, but I'll admit, part of what comforts me about Vietnamese restaurants is being left alone. I was not. I was even given instructions about how to order next time! One person working there seemed concerned I ate only half my bun bo hue, but I truly ate all I could and then some, it was just a lot for me. I think $20 is a lot for pho, but I was fine with that, as I was expecting it. I do wish the bun bo hue came with a pork hock, but the broth and the beef were so refined, that is not a complaint. More pork blood would be nice... but, I think they have perfected what it is that they do, which is all I ever want, personally.Would go back. They seem to foster loyalty; I can see why. They're very welcoming, and the food is comforting, as someone who grew up on SFV phoGot bun bo hue because it looked like everyone else did. Was happy with that choice. All the food looked pretty good.“
“came for happy hour, if you’re looking for don or ramen they have a lot to choose from. we were looking at smaller plates, everything was super delicious and fresh. calamari wasn’t overcooked, the scallops were so well dressed with a vinaigrette and fresh micro greens, pesto udon was a bit strong and greasy so i’d skip next time, and the kabocha croquette was sweet and battered fried.“
“Alright here me out, the food here is great. Super flavorful and it is worth it. However, shall we talk about the service? It was wrong in so many level it is almost a joke. However, as many people said, if you were treated poorly by the servers, you knew the food is legit. I would be back again for the food, and strictly for the food.“
“We didn't realize this place was cash only until we arrived, so as a workaround, we ordered online and checked out using square payments. Fortunately, we were still able to dine in, and the hostess checked in with us and brought us water. The food was solid, not the best I've ever had but nothing wrong with it. It’s a good place to share a meal with friends or family; just don’t forget to bring cash!“
“I would give this way more than 5 stars if I could! The wait is well worth it for their original dry fried wings. You can also ask for it to be spicier and they will definitely have a good kick to them. I've been multiple times and the wings never disappoint, and are my favorite wings in the city for sure. Not many vegetarian options, but I would definitely recommend the Vegetarian chow mein, it has good flavor and tons of veggies, and I always get it when I go. The green beans are a great starter as well, and vegetarian! They bring the food out fast after ordering too which is great. One of my favorite restaurants in the city!!“
“Went here when we were desperately craving ramen!! Cute spot. We loved the calamari, it was great. Was a bit difficult to get water and ramen was not amazing. Expected to be blown away for the price. Spent $80 (2 peopl) with no beverages besides water and one app.“
“The dumplings with beef, lamb, and fish inside are a tasty mix that you won't want to miss.Their special beef noodle soup is not only yummy but also comes with lots of beef in a big bowl. The broth is full of flavor, making it a great choice.Try the shredded pig ear in chili oil for an appetizer—it's delicious and has a tangy flavor that makes it unique.Lots of people like the cucumber salad here, whether they're eating in or taking it to go. I'll be sure to give it a try next time!“
“Food was delicious. Little pricy but still good. Service was okay . I had to flag them down to take my order. They were busy so understood. I will come back for Singapore style noodle. I used to eat this a lot when I lived in alameda. I was lucky to find parking . Thank god .“
“Pho 2000 is a cute restaurant with two floors with kind and efficient service. I ordered pho dac biet (#1) small size and Thai iced tea. They also provide with hot tea when you first sit. The pho was okay. Everything was fine except that the broth wasn’t as strong as I wanted it to be. It was very mild which made it kind of hard to taste. I had to mix a bit of hoisin sauce into the broth to be able to taste it. The noodles were kind of overcooked and there wasn’t as much meat as I thought there would be. The Thai tea was delicious! Strong, sweet, and refreshing just how I like it. I had received both items in less than 10 minutes. This restaurant is a great lunch spot!“
“Must try!! I love this restaurant! Amazing food, lovely ambience, great service and staff :) every time I come here I always have a good time. Thank you to Sung and everyone at Kothai for a great birthday dinner!! Bonus - its right on the N haha ❤️Dietary restrictions: They offer vegan and vegetarian options“
“Loved our dinner at Nute’s! The gyoza appetizer was incredible, and all the noodle dishes were delicious. The waiter was fast, attentive, and honestly impressive to watch given he was the only waiter. We felt like we were back in Japan with the small tables, paper lanterns, and cozy vibe. Only thing to know is the wait was quite long due to the limited seating- next time we’ll put our name on their list (paper, not yelp) and then get a drink somewhere. Can’t wait to come back and try some of the other noodles!“
“The place makes me feel like I’m back home in Shanghai and maybe better As someone who used to live near Guyi Garden in Shanghai, I can say the soup dumplings are exactly how I like them. The dough isn’t too skin or too soft and has a delightful little chewiness. The pork and crab filling is tender, juicy, and not greasy. There can be a bit more crab yolk but i didn’t expect much across the ocean.I adore the small yellow fish in rice wine sauce. It has become a rare find even in Shanghai comparing with the more common smoked fish. The balance of rice wine and sweet flavor is just right.Pea shoots are perfectly cooked.Pork belly with tofu skin knots tastes good too. Not too salty.Love the atmosphere. So glad to hear Shanghainese!! The aunties are very friendly and welcoming. The food isn’t cheap but it definitely worth it.Hope I have time to visit again for other dishes I crave before leaving for England…“
“i got the bbq lovers chicken rice plate for 15 bucks, and they flew past all expectations for both flavor and portions. the chicken was cooked well and had a nice grilled flavor. it came with fresh chopped vegetables and rice. definitely a repeater for me!“
“I've tried the Daeho in japantown SF and I've had the Daeho in San Jose...but I feel like this Daeho tastes the best??? I'm not sure if it's the meat quality, portion sizes, flavor or what but this is my favorite location out of all the Bay Area locations.Daeho specializes in galbi-jjim, which is Korean braised beef short ribs in the most delicious sauce. You MUST get the cheese on top because they torch it at your table and it makes for a great IG story haha. I also like to get rice cakes in it. The large size can feed a table of four. The spice level is kind of inconsistent among the chains or even on certain days. I usually get spicy and I thought it wasn't spicy, during my most recent trip. (Maybe my spice tolerance went up? Maybe the chef just made it less spicy?) If you're unsure what spice level you are, I would err on the side of less spicy because you can always add spicy to it later.Aside from the beautiful galbi-jjim, I think everything else on the menu is pretty good. I like to pair my galbi-jjim order with a cold noodle to offset the heat. I think the soups here are so good. Their galbi-tang (short rib soup) is perfect on a cold day.“
“It's quite busy here. The service is fast but you can order online in advance.Lemongrass chicken vermicelli (bun ga xa) was flavorful with sweet fish sauce.Turmeric catfish (cha ca la vong) was ok, not a lot of fish. It normally comes with fermented shrimp paste, which I believe is smelly so I ordered it with fish sauce instead.“
“It’s a little on the pricey side but the soba is made with care and you can taste it and feel the excellent texture. The broth is also very good with a rich and satisfying flavor. I had the tempura soba combo and it was about $22. Also got the sashimi for $26 which was very good even though it was also expensive! All in all a great place to return to when I feel like splurging on a nice bowl of noodles.“
“Best Thai food in the Bay Area. The Khao Soi soup is an explosion of flavor and so delicious. The way they package it to go, your soup and chicken stay hot and your crispy bits stay crispy it's magical. Every time family visits me here, I order from here. The staff is also incredible. I will continue to frequent this place regularly until I leave the Bay.“
“The atmosphere is extremely elegant, the fish is high quality and well prepared and presented. I have been to over 30 sushi restaurants in the city of SF and Otoro Sushi is literally the best quality sushi experience you can get for the price. The service is always pleasant. I cannot compliment this restaurant enough.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are on par in quality and artisanal skill with the fish dishes. One of the only places where the vegetarian rolls feel like a real consideration rather than an afterthought. I take all my vegetarian friends here. The futomaki and the pickles are a highlight. I genuinely get the futomaki over fish rolls sometimes.“
“Brought parental units here for a weekday late lunch. The environment is chill, food was good, service was warm and friendly. | Ambiance | There's ~8 table here, with benches for seating; each table can comfortably seat 4-6, possibly more with kids. The restaurant is bright and delightfully decorated. | Food | Given this was our first time here, we ordered two #1 Original: one with shrimp, one with beef. The meat/bone broth has been cooked for hours and has a delicious depth to it. We had regular noodles (imported from Yuana) in one and kale noodles in the other. Both were delicious. The bridge of toppings that come with each order of noodles, albeit gimmicky, was fun and added texture to the dish; atop the bridge were corn, preserve vegetables, yuba, goji berries, ham slices, a shrimp, wood ear strips, chives, and a quail egg. The protein ( slices of beef and shrimp) came out raw, along with noodles on the side, and piping hot broth for us to cook everything in. All in all, a very satisfying meal. We also got the tofu + ground pork cold dry noodles and a wood ear appetizer. The dry noodles were unique and I liked the tofu flavors in them, though I still preferred the version with broth. The wood ear appetizer was good - vinegary and had a little kick. | Service | The manager/owner (?), having learned that this was our first visit, welcomed us and shared her recommendations. It was clear she's passionate about the food and takes pride in their offerings. She and the other waitress were both great in ensuring we were well taken care of; service was quick. Despite this being a restaurant that has been opened for only 5 months, everything is operating smoothly. When the bill came, I opted to pay with a credit card. These days, the tip portion of the credit card workflow at restaurants can get quite confusing, often ranging anywhere from 15-25% or more. Unlike other restaurants that default tip to 18% or 20%, I appreciated Oodle defaulting theirs to 15%. For that, and for the delightful service, I was happy to increase the tip to the next tier up at 18%. They earned it!“
“I had the red garlic tonkatsu. It was delicious, with a decent amount of spice. The gyoza was fried, with a crisp bottom and a soft top. Also pretty much as good as you can ask for.My girlfriend had the tonkatsu and described it as, “very tasty”.Overall 5/5 for the price.“
“Adorable breakfast brunch spot, delicious savory and sweet dishes. I always want to lick the plate after I'm done its so good. Tried the ube pancakes on the weekend special menu and the fluffy buttery texture was perfect. Had the Thai omelet over rice with pork and it was so savory and yummy I didn't know eggs could taste so “
“delish. I had the Chongqing street noodles and they ruled. also had the cucumber, which was delicious (I'm not even a huge cucumber fan but the sauce was *awesome*). spice level is good if u are like me and like spicy stuff.service was exactly what I wanted it to be: stuff was brought promptly and the ppl were nice. u pay just after ordering so u don't have to call over wait staff after eating, which was actually really nice.“
“This spot is the definition of hospitality. There are lots of great Vietnamese and Asian options nearby and I'm so glad I stopped by.The restaurant has lots of signs saying they're vegan friendly, and the menu posted on the window confirms it. Not busy on a Friday lunch hour, but a couple of regulars were also dining and I quickly found out why they're so loved. The server gave the regular menu and the vegan one with photos by default. Got the vegan bun hue spicy noodle soup because the server said it was popular. I pointed to the vegan section, but didn't explicitly say I wanted the veg version. The dish quickly came out, but it had brisket. I dug around the bowl to confirm, told the older gentleman, whom I assume is the owner. He quickly removed it and my used chopsticks, which was thoughtful.? The vegan version came out and it was delish! There was fried tofu, konjac shrimp, konjac squid, seitan 'beef' slices, and plenty of veggies (broccoli, carrots, bok choy). The noodles were perfectly done so they had a great chew, but unfortunately not very splurpable as I had to chew carefully. The bok choy was overcooked, but all the other veggies were ?. I can't believe they took the time to remove the ends from the bean sprouts ? That's next level attention. My first time having bun hue and I wish Chicago had as many veg Viet options.? The two owners and server stopped by to keep my glass of water filled, and say hello to all diners without being overbearing. Very attentive.“
“In a nutshell; despite how busy it was, line rather went by quickly, food is top tier, it is cafeteria style eatery but the upon and tempura is worth it.Busy Saturday lunch hour, but I'd say it took about 8-15 mins of being in line before we got to give our order. Food was prepped. as you move along down the line and just grab a few tempura of various food that you fancy, head at the end of the line and just Pay as your food will be good to go. Had to sit outside and see how long the line has gotten. Few birds may surround you and it seemed that the couple on the next table had the unfortunate incident of a bird do a doo-doo on their clothing but seemed like a rare occurrence as it didn't seem to be common as we just enjoyed our meal outside for quite some time with no incident, so I guess just a word of caution. The udon is great regardless of which one you pick and the tempura's crispy crunchy delicious. Overall if you happen to swing by the mall and want good affordable Japanese udon/tempura then this is a place to visit.“
“I went there for Friday night dinner. It was not I like how they decorate the restaurant. Ek give me a feeling like I’m in a massage spa.The service was good too. I went to the toilet they sanitize and clean the restroom well. I had how special with sorted meats. the noodles was amazing. the taste was not spicy at all. the sauces for noodles are going well with meat too.“
“I wanted to go to Haiji Noodle House with my parents during the Spring Festival.Helpless shopkeepers take a breakWent to this place instead.Tastes as delicious as everWe ordered the signature powder and Vietnamese coffeevery satisfiedRice noodle soup is piping hot and deliciousThe rice noodles are not ordinary rice noodlesVery soft and waxy but with a bit of toughnessThe beef offal is cooked very lazily and is also suitable for the elderlyThe coffee is classic black coffee with coconut milk“
“Fantastic dumplings. We had Dan Dan Noodles, Mission Chicken Pot Stickers (which were yummy!), Tempura Mushrooms, Sichuan Mala Pork Soup Dumplings XLB, Sichuan Dumplings in red oil, Five Spice Tempura Silken Tofu. I usually don't like spicy food but the spice level was manageable.“
“This place is one of the best noodle place in San Francisco. I usually order #7 thin or thick with separate soup. The hot soya milk is very good. The service is fast and the owner is very friendly. I eat here for almost 15 years.Parking: Very hard to find a parking.“
“my all time favorite pho place. oh my god. there might be a brief wait but it’s worth it. the space is usually very full but not loud enough where you can’t hear the people with you. good for friends/dates/family, honestly whoever. the service is very quick and efficient - don’t be offended if there’s not much fanfare. my boyfriend always gets a meat plate and it’s delicious. i’ve only ever tried the pho and will always come back for more.“
“We've eaten here a few years back, but this is the first time leaving a review. We wanted something a little different and not just pho, so we opted for this spot. We got there around noon and there were a a bunch of empty tables. Most of the booth tables were taken though. Just so you know, they give complimentary soy milk served hot or cold, but you have to ask for it. I think only old timers/regulars know about this. My bf got a hot soy milk and I chose hot tea. We both ordered noodle soup. #3. NG HIEP KY WONTON HO FUN SOUP: Flavorful soup with seafood, liver and wonton dumplings with medium flat rice noodles. The noodles are not the typical Chinese ho fun that is really wide. It's like linguini sized rice noodles. They give an average amount, but good enough to fill you. I don't care for liver, so I didn't eat it. But everything else was good! They also have a shrimp on top that's been fried with batter. I grabbed that first since I'd rather have it crispy than soggy. 4/5 #12. BRAISED DUCK LEG HO FUN AND EGG NOODLE SOUP: BF had this and enjoyed it. Tasty duck and having both kinds of noodles bring an interesting taste and texture. Not many places have this dish or in this area of SF. 4/5 All around a decent spot for a quick lunch!“
“Highly recommend for delicious, well made, Thai food in a cozy no frills spot in the Richmond. Formerly King of Thai Noodle, the chef is the same as before the name change and the menu has a good variety of noodles, curries, soups, rice dishes and appetizers you’d expect (satay, papaya salad) Came here with my mom who loves their sweet and sour prawns-this is an amazing dish, the prawns are coated in a super light crunch that makes the whole dish come together. Sauce was perfectly balanced. I had the Tom yum soup with tofu and it was the perfect sour/hot combo. The bowl was huge. Pad Thai noodles were al dente and dry (a good thing, not too saucy). Service was fast, attentive and friendly. It’s a small space that can fill up quickly but tables turnover relatively fast and this place is totally worth the wait. So glad to have rediscovered this place and happy to have another option for great Thai food“
“This Sichuan restaurant is a gem! The dry pot shredded cabbage is incredibly tasty, and the spicy hot pot with fresh fish slices is simply outstanding. The texture of the fresh fish fillets is so amazing. If you're a fan of Sichuan cuisine, this place is a must-try!“
“HELLO. Quit sleeping on CHIC N' TIME!!! Hands down the best chicken wings and popcorn chicken that I have ever had. If I had to choose a last meal - it'd be the peppercorn chicken wing plate and a side of 16oz chicken broth. If I had an Olympic-size swimming pool, I'd drain it and fill it with the Chic n' Time chicken broth and swim in it daily!!! Real talk - this place is amazing. Also - the owners(?)/employees are the sweetest. I can't say enough good things about this place. 10/10 recommend to everyone. Thank you for coming to my Chicken Talk™“
“Hands down. This is worth all the good reviews.I recently moved to the Bay Area and was looking for a new Thai place to call my favorite. I'm super glad I came to this one!I had the spicy fried rice, and they were all coated well with seasoning. For those who like spice, although this dish is categorized as spicy, it isn't. It's more like a 3 out of 10 for me.All good. Just ask for chili sauce! My partner and I had the mango sticky rice as well.Portion is small but really good if you aren't trying to roll out of a restaurant!I loved that they fried and salted the mung beans on top of the sweet rice. Together with the semi sour mango, the flavor profile is great!Definitely recommend giving it a try.Price is fair for the portion, and the flavors are well done!10/10! Will be back.“
“Located in busy downtown San Mateo, this is an outstanding Japanese restaurant! Traditional preparation and high quality seafood. Be sure to try call in for a reservation, as this place is very popular. In fact, we had a 5:00 pm reservation and learned that the fresh oysters were already sold out(fortunately, they spared one order for us). Highly recommend their 8 piece sushi omakase. Loved their agadeshi tofu: fried tofu in warm broth. Their chawan mushi is another great starter, steam egg with chicken, fish cake.“
“Glad we caught this place by accident just walking by. Food was superb. Flavourful, delicious beef noodle soup. Also had chicken teriyaki, some dim sum options and spring rolls. Everything was fantastic.Service was attentive, as we were the only ones there. Prices were very reasonable for the area.“
“Another one of our go-to places in the neighborhood! We come here whenever we're craving some good hot and sour soup and mapo tofu. The portions are large and the pricing is reasonable; we always have leftovers to take home. My husband always likes to get the 酸菜肉絲麵 (pickled mustard greens and pork noodle soup), and I order a slew of vegetarian dishes for us to share: mapo tofu, hot and sour soup, the chongqing spicy noodles (no dandan noodles because they have chicken broth), and the spicy stir-fried cabbage. The mapo tofu is always perfectly done -- tofu is never broken, still really silky and tender, and the mala chili oil sauce is always this beautiful, bright red. I'm not ashamed to say that I can literally eat almost the whole plate by myself. Hot and sour soup is probably one of the best I've had in the city. A lot of restaurants are lazy and just throw a ton of corn starch to thicken the broth and make it look good, and don't give you anything more than a few slices of tofu (or pork) and maybe some shiitake slices. Sichuan Tasty's hot and sour is done with care; there's woodear slices, shiitake, bamboo shoot (typically too expensive or time-consuming for most restaurants to care to add), and thinly-sliced tofu. The size of each of the cut ingredients is consistent and even, which shows that the chefs have great knifework. The broth is always the right amount of acidic from the black vinegar, and spicy from white pepper like it should be. The chongqing spicy noodles are always very satisfying too -- the noodles are always QQ and the longer they sit, the more of the tasty sauce they soak up. Sometimes I like to throw the mapo tofu on the noodles instead of eating it over rice and it's so good. Cabbage is always crunchy, fresh, and smoky from the wok-hei. Service is always great: we've always felt welcome and taken care of here. The food also comes out SUPER fast. We've rarely had to wait more than 5 minutes for the first dish to come out. I remember sitting at the table listening to the sounds of the kitchen -- the turning on of the flames, the clanging of spatulas, the sizzle of the woks, and the sound of the burner being turned off and food being plated. This all happens within the span of 1-2 minutes at most, which is exactly what you'd expect for good Chinese.“
“Go there!! Best restaurant for noodlesoup Ive ever been! Amazing homemade iceatea with just the perfect amount of sugar and lemon. Im travelling a lot and thats one of the most authentic and best restaurants Ive ever visited. So much enjoyed, also kids, because you can spice up yourself... 6 stars!!!!“
“This place had a upscale vibe with great music and attentive staff. Everyone was very friendly and I had the bbq pork buns and Pork Sheng Jian Bao and everything was SOOO AMAZING! I wish I lived closer I would be broke from eating here everyday of my life! The bbq pork buns were so fluffy with a hint of sweetness and a savory inside of bbq pork. The soup dumplings had a crunchier pan fried bottom with flavorful soup and meat on the inside. The Oolong tea was very good as well I didn't need sugar at all it was just good quality tea. They even brought a dessert sesame ball for free at the end of my meal and i left so full and satisfied! If you read to the bottom of this, hesitate no further and just do yourself a favor and check this place out, you WONT regret it.“
“Tiny restaurant but the meals are packed full of flavour. My husband and I LOVE Thai food and always try to get it wherever we go. We can confirm that the Thai food here is reaaaalllll gooooooooooodddd!!! So delicious that we came back twice during our 1 week trip.It was also a sure fire way to get a solid serving of vegetables in which is always hard when travelling and staying in hotels.Definitely recommended.“
“Tu Lan has been our favorite SF food since I first came here in 1995. Same family runs things, works hard and produces consistently delicious food all these years. It is definitely a "special" place, and you have to be OK with the local flavor as you approach the restaurant. But you will be rewarded with authentic Viet fast delicious food. Totally worth eating here!“
“I've been in DT Oakland for the past decade or so for a conference every year, and my friend recommended this spot. I'm glad to finally check this out. AMBIANCE: Parking: Street parking, usually metered parking. Seating: Great for groups. Room for about 70 people with good groups for 5 or more. Vibes: Welcome to Downtown Oakland. You're close to a lot of other good eatery spots, historical monuments, and other pleasant sightseeing places. The place itself is nothing too flashy. It's a grit and grind area, but they are unapologetically proud of their social recognitions. There's nice pop music in the background. Great place for a food adventure or family/groups. FOOD: Deluxe Combination Chow Mein (Recommend) This is a wonderful medley of beef, bok choy, bean sprouts, onions and chicken with their hand-cut signature noodles. The noodles were truly one of a kind, from their appearance to their soft/chewy texture and nutty flavor. The sauce was reasonably mixed around, which made it pretty savory. Be sure to ask for some hot sauce! CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! Ordered for pick up and they were prepared! TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars. Fantastic! Good food, reasonable prices, and a calming experience. Yes there are lot of food choices here but their noodles really do stand out. I appreciate the delicious food and their hard work. Wishing the best to Charles Hung, family, and team on their business! TIPS: * Too many choices! Bring a friend or two to mix and match * Top 25 noodle places in San Diego!“
“Totally empty on a Tuesday afternoon at lunch time, but that is not a bad thing. The food is pretty average fare, again not a bad thing. The curry with chicken and rice is pretty good. If you stop by, be sure to also stop on at the cable car museum a block over.“
“Amazing little Chinese food restaurant run by a husband/wife combo - some of the hardest working folks around! Lily always works the front and is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet.Everything I’ve ever had here has been delicious and fresh, but the Mongolian chicken is one of my favs. You can’t beat the prices here either! It’s a special place, go see for yourself!“
“MoBowL stands out as my ultimate favorite food truck in the SF/Bay Area. Every dish they craft bursts with flavor, and their presentation is undeniably Instagram-worthy. Kevin and Will consistently deliver exceptional service, going above and beyond even during peak hours. This food truck embodies the epitome of customer service and culinary excellence, making it a true hidden gem in the SF/Bay Area culinary scene. I've frequented MoBowL numerous times, from their pre Covid days in FiDi, to indulging in their dinner specials during the pandemic, and even enjoying their offerings at Bare Bottle on weekends. We've also entrusted them with catering for various bday parties, and each time, the experience has been nothing short of superb, with consistently fantastic food quality. On top of all that, their prices are incredibly reasonable, making it a mystery how they sustain their business with such low charges--make sure to show appreciation by tipping generously! Among their offerings, some of my personal favorites include the flavorful galbijim, the delectable seafood pan roast, the hearty cioppino, Kevin's mouthwatering fried chicken, and the irresistible combination of fries and pulled pork. These days, MoBowL primarily operates from their Brisbane location, offering takeout for fortunate locals, and they're a staple at Bare Bottle during weekends. Their Instagram feed hints at occasional dinner specials, including my beloved galbijim, which rivals even the famed Daeho at half the cost. For those unwilling to venture to ssf, you can arrange food delivery across the Bay Area for larger orders or family meals, just call or text them for options and pricing--definitely worth exploring! The level of passion and professionalism displayed by MoBowL is evident not only in their flavorful creations but also in their business conduct. I wholeheartedly endorse them and can't recommend them enough. Whether you're seeking a quick lunch or catering for a special event, MoBowL consistently delivers a memorable dining experience that exceeds expectations.“
