This spot has become our favorite destination for a relaxing wine night, whether it's a casual evening with friends or a date night. The cozy atmosphere is consistently a hit with everyone we introduce to the place.
What really sets it apart are the owners, Nici and Ty. They are incredibly friendly and offer great recommendations. It was a pleasant surprise that they recognized us months after our first visit and even remembered my girlfriend's preferred wine! We also love their flexible flight concept, which allows you to sample any of the wines available for a single set price.
It's also an excellent choice if you're looking for a laid-back wine bar before heading over to a Sharks game!”

I love the new variety of flavors every week and how they’re so unique and different than the generic cookies you buy in the grocery store. The price isn’t too bad either! For a box of 6 cookies it’s $22 but the cookies are HUGE. I can never finish one by myself so I leave them to the rest of my family. Also pro tip download the crumble app so you can earn free rewards. 100 points equals to $10 you can use towards the cookies.”

Their menu is somewhat minimal and limited, so entered with few expectations or hopes that I could order anything more than a salad. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The owner came to our table and was most accommodating. I ordered a succulent nopales salad, street corn and some delicious blue corn sopes de calabasita (zucchini and flower). It was all quite tasty and I was even more surprised when she brought out some vegan mayo AND vegan cheese to top off my food with more flavor. The atmosphere is very modern and simply styled, mirroring their “chic” food menu. I found the food delicious though a bit on the bland side, but was grateful that they came through for me and my vegan diet. I left sated and happy that I could fully participate in the meal alongside my meat-eating friends. The owner was very thoughtful and really went out of her way to make sure I had plenty of choices to order. Although it was a bit pricey, I will definitely go back again. The modern ambiance, the attentive service and the fancy yet rustic food combined to make a lovely evening meal.”

In fact, my son, who had the maple pecan waffles and chicken, finished off my wife’s fish, along with the cornbread muffin and fries. The food was so delicious that my wife came back to the downtown location the next night with her friends before they went to see “ And Juliet” at Broadway San Jose! We definitely will be back to the downtown location before our next Broadway SJ show,and plan to go to the other location on Monday!”

The building is old but it stands alone which is cool. More and more rare nowadays. The parking lot is huge. I saw a kids okay area which is also rare, though I can’t vouch it’s open for use.
Took about 10 minutes to get food with no one in line in front of me. Which tells me they probably don’t have many workers and also they don’t have stuff ready and waiting which I guess that’s good in a way. Fresher food.
I for the California Classic Double Cheeseburger and it was pretty good! And according to the menu only 420 calories. Also had a grilled chicken sandwich. Also pretty good. I’m gonna say this is a pretty good restaurant.

Luckily a person working there offered me complimentary food which made my day as I was a lot hungry (after coming back from a long road trip including swimming and traveling). This was the only halal place I found open late.”

“I reached out to Avani, the owner of Butter Cheeni, for a milestone birthday cake. I wanted a simple, elegant cake with minimal artificial colors or fondants, at the same time fancy enough for a milestone event. She heard my requirements and came back with a few suggestions not just for the flavor, but also the shape of the cake, the kind of frosting etc. We decided to go with a rectangular 2-layered Dubai chocolate cake. Once we decided on the order, she shared her terms and conditions. On the day of the event, the cake was ready on time, as promised. All of the dishes were incredible and very fresh, with generous serving sizes and quick delivery. My favorite was the tamarind shrimp but all tasted great. The conch salad was super refreshing on such a warm sunny day, and the shrimp in tamarind sauce were just perfectly tangy and tender.
When I’m home in San Jose, I want good authentic Vietnamese food that you can’t get anywhere else beyond the Bay Area and Vietnam, I don’t want to waste my time with gentrified and overly Americanized food.

The owner came to our table and was most accommodating. I ordered a succulent nopales salad, street corn and some delicious blue corn sopes de calabasita (zucchini and flower). It was all quite tasty and I was even more surprised when she brought out some vegan mayo AND vegan cheese to top off my food with more flavor. The atmosphere is very modern and simply styled, mirroring their “chic” food menu. I found the food delicious though a bit on the bland side, but was grateful that they came through for me and my vegan diet. I left sated and happy that I could fully participate in the meal alongside my meat-eating friends. The owner was very thoughtful and really went out of her way to make sure I had plenty of choices to order. Although it was a bit pricey, I will definitely go back again. “I walked to a spot for a quick little treat,
And found me a place that was simple and neat.
The parking was perfect, no chaos, no mess,
The vibe was laid-back — I could not have guessed.
I ordered a burger, just two ninety-nine,
It came out all steamy, and wow — it was fine!
The fries were four ninety-nine, crispy and hot,
With onions and sauce — they delivered a lot!
The burger was simple, no truffle, no fluff,
But juicy and cheesy and savory stuff.
The fries had a crunch and the sauce had a zing,
Together they made my taste buds want to sing!
The tables were wooden, all benchy and bare,
A little bit dusty — some crumbs here and there.
But hey, I’m not picky, and truth be well told,
That’s not why I’m here — I’m not five years old.
The bathrooms were tidy, the service was fast,
This meal hit the spot — it was built to last.
For seven bucks total, I give it a cheer,
The best deal in town, and I’ll sure reappear!”

“Great place for fusion Mexican Mediterranean cuisine. They have happy hour with some interesting combinations and beer and sangria pitchers. Check out the food pictures. The serving staff are not so efficient but the place is quieter than Aquis with good distance between tables. The servers don't state that but extra humus is $3”

“Tōno is a pretty cool little spot to grab a coffee. Not a huge selection of stuff, but given that it’s kind of a popup situation, that’s to be expected. What they do have is quite nice, however. The latte was delicious, and the PB&J rice crispy treat was quite good as well.
Definitely recommend checking this place out. Do check their IG for hours, though. Google seems to be showing this place as being temporarily closed, but as of writing this, they aren’t.”

“Goku Sushi is a real gem!! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was attentive. We ordered a variety of rolls, and each one was a delight. The Mango roll was outstanding. The presentation of the food was also beautiful. We'll definitely be back! By the way, we came to the one on Blossom Hill !!”

“The food was the bomb! The mac and cheese was off the hook delicious. I couldn’t stop eating it! My hot link was cooked perfectly. My wife had the fried fish with the yams and fries, and loved it. In fact, my son, who had the maple pecan waffles and chicken, finished off my wife’s fish, along with the cornbread muffin and fries. The food was so delicious that my wife came back to the downtown location the next night with her friends before they went to see “ And Juliet” at Broadway San Jose! We definitely will be back to the downtown location before our next Broadway SJ show,and plan to go to the other location on Monday!”

“I stopped by and met Luis, Maria, Orlando, and Won , they were so warm and welcoming, and you could tell they take real pride in what they serve. The food was absolutely worth it : the Cuban sandwich was perfectly toasted, flavorful, and packed with the right balance of ingredients. On top of that, the conversation made the whole experience even better. It’s not just great food , it’s genuine people and good vibes. Definitely coming back!”

“Ate here for the first time and the food was absolutely amazing. The Biryani was extremely flavorful and they give a HUGE portion. The chicken curry was delicious and the Paratha was flaky and satisfying.”

“Paris Avenue is a delightful bakery with a cozy French atmosphere. We stopped by and tried the veggie quiche, which was flavorful and perfectly baked, along with a pastry that was light and delicious. The service was quick, making for a pleasant experience. I’d love to come again to try their cakes, which looked tempting. A great spot for a quick bite or a sweet treat!”
