“Ordered some takeout. Definitely call ahead, can take some time depending on your order. Ended up ordering the app sampler platter (with plantains, fried fish balls, meat pocket and wings), jerk chicken plate, and ox tail stew.We came by to check on our order and they told us they were actually out of wings. Oh well, overall the food was pretty good. I doooo love my oxtail. The jerk chicken was moist and flavorful!!! Pricing was a little more than expected, bur next time I'd skip the app platter and just order 2 entree plates. The food was pretty good, would eat again!“

“We have been trying to get in for months, maybe even years. Yesterday my friend got a notice (from being on the waitlist) there was a table and she was able to get one. And we were thrilled. We got there early, and since we have never been the 4 only bar seats actually aren’t for a bar. So we were turned away to just have a drink. But this was completely on us, and it fully say bar is first come first serve and they we’re very nice about it. We just didn’t know how strict that was. So we went next door for a drink and came back promptly for our reservation.Well let me say this place is worth the wait. Easily one of the best restaurant in St Louis. Our server Mike was amazing. He gave great drink recs and sold every dish with his descriptions. Everything was more than perfect. The food, the staff, the ambience. It all makes perfect sense why this place is jammed. I only hope we can get on the list sooner than later, but we will be trying. 10 out of 10!! Keep it up Wright’s Tavern!!Parking: Easy to find free street parking after 5, but could see how busier days may be more limited.“

“This is a GREAT neighborhood restaurant! Great ambiance in the front room! Very good wine list; we thoroughly enjoyed the Manzone Gramolere Barolo. The food was excellent, and the portions quite large on the Chicken Marsala. One of the specials was Divers Scallops on a bed of risotto, and the scallops were perfectly done. Service after the entree could have been more attentive.“

“Our server Josh (yes, coincidence) nailed it. Attentive but not overbearing. The cocktails were a hit too, and I'd recommend the Apple Bottom Jeans and the Violet Mojito.My wife and I stuck to small plates as we weren't in the mood for large plates. The lobster roll was out of this world, and while it looks small, they manage to pack so much delectable lobster into it. The pork belly was also incredible though it was light on the amount of pork belly in it. The spam fried rice was really good. The chili flakes elevate the entire plate, but if you don't like spicy food, I might suggest you get something else. Finally, the cheddar biscuits...they weren't very good. They were a bit tough, not fluffy, and were portioned in a way that made them awkward to eat (too tall). I would not recommend the biscuits. But overall, great experience, 4.5/5.“

“We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.“

“Can be a little loud when they are busy. Food is good and you get lots, won't leave hungry.Parking: Depending on how busy they are, sometimes parking is not great. Restaurant shares parking with a convenience type store/sandwich shop, and I believe a laundromat around the corner.“

“I had the shrimp boil and the Brussel sprouts and potatoes that were crispy were fantastic. The sausage was a Great blend of flavor and heat. The shrimp were terrific. The lemon and wet towel was a superb ending I received much joy having clean hands at the table.the catfish was excellent I tried it.Loved the atmosphere and decor. “Beautiful restaurant. First time here, my boyfriend and I were on a date night for our anniversary. Dale was our server, very lively and energetic! He was wonderful, gave us an amazing experience. Food was amazing. I ordered the 12oz bacon wrapped filet, med rare, and it was cooked perfectly. Boyfriend ordered the crab legs, which were okay. The seared tuna appetizer was nice. Drinks were great, ambiance was wonderful. Will come again!“

“My partner and I enjoyed the to-die-for veal lasagna and scrumptious braised beef ravioli with octopus to start. I cannot recommend the food more highly, and the cocktails are competitively tasting! “Meals are nourishing, deeeelicious, well made at the highest level. The veggie combo came with a refreshing and savory beet salad. My family loves Ethiopian food and this is simply some of the tastiest, clean, and freshest you'll have on the planet. My kids loved the fresh fries and njera bread. The hot wings were on point too! We went two days in a row and plan to come as often as possible. The menu has everything you can imagine, even pizza, both veggie, pepperoni, and lamb, if you like. Fresh carrot juice is available, as well as Ethiopia's legendary coffee, and spiced teas... We are grateful!“

It was a fried pork cutlet, I believe. It came with two sides. I was delicious. I just can't believe that I came here and didn't get fried chicken. The place has been renovated. Enjoy !“

“Called ahead to have someone to come out to get my take order to go. I need assistance in getting out of car. They came out to take my order at the curb ( told me the whole menu) then told me to park in the back and they brought me my order to go. IOrder the steak sandwich . It was delicious really full of meat ( asked to cut in 3rd,) it came with chips and I also ordered of the 1/2 lb potato salad ( it was excellent ) I got two meals . Out of that order. Yummm.“

“This restaurant has such a nice ambiance and peace about it. I loved the atmosphere and the waitresses and waiters were phenomenal. However, for me the food was presented well, but a bit bland for my liking thus the 3 stars. Overall a nice place to try.Parking: There is plenty of free parking on the lot. It also sits on a joining lot with a hotel. Also a nice amount of handicap parking in front of the entrance.“

“Diamond in the rough for sure! I'm not gonna lie, I was not sure about this place at first. The name and not the location per se but when I went to pick up my order the neon sign was off, almost looked closed? Hmmm.... The place was small, takeout only clearly, the floor could have used a mopping, some lights and like even the most basic decor/a poster/big menu board would have made it more inviting. All that said? I dont care now. This place is FANTASTIC! I was skeptical, lets be clear this isn't Sado lol, but if you want some just really decent quality but not bougie straightforward takeout sushi this place has you covered and at a great price and with easy convenient fast takeout. This place reminds me of what Ai Sushi downtown USED to be like, or similar to Cafe Mochi but at a much cheaper price, honestly better menu options too, and better quality by far than the last few times I ordered from either of those places. Don't judge a book by its cover, please let's make this place successful I don't want it to go away!!“

“Non-descript corner bakery that serves authentic Chinese bakery items along with roast meats and a smattering of dimsum dishes. Gets busy on weekends around late morning. Has other branch on S. Grand but that location has a smaller assortment of items.“

“Food was very delicious and flavorful. I really enjoy authentic Mexican food, and hit the nail on this one. The corn they give you on the side was delicious and sweet and very moist. The drinks were deli's as well. The service was amazing. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations. The inside was very clean,spacious and dim lit.
