“The vibe here was amazing! Loved the music and atmosphere. Plenty of seating, friendly servers, unique food. Loved the empanadas and cheesy bread. The crispy chicken taco was also amazing. I had one of the best mojitos I've ever had here. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Would absolutely recommend!“
“This is the second time that we have eaten at this gem near the theater district. We were there for lunch. We each had sangria, I had the seafood paella and my wife had a shrimp burrito. Great food, friendly service and very reasonable pricing“
“best tapas outside of spain, and fair prices for the quality and taste, freshness too.used to be on 19st pre pandemic this location is beautiful. staff very friendly. we’ve been all over, to thousands of restaurants in the city and this is one of our favorites.Kid-friendliness: lots of families and lots of space“
“I recently dined at Vinateriá and I must say, the food and service were absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The menu offered a variety of authentic Italian dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The service was attentive, friendly, and truly made our dining experience exceptional. I would definitely return to this restaurant in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic Italian meal. 5/5 stars.“
“Siento de Corazón que el dueño haya fallecido en un incidente de verdad era una gran persona y trabajo muchísimo para dejar su legado ? La comida es 5 estrellas servicio lo único es que debe decirle a los clientes que la propina está incluida a veces falta de comunicación pero el lugar es increíble el picante la comida es súper increíble“
“Such a beautiful space, delicious tapas, warm staff, great wine selection, clean and the prices a great! Great space fir meetings, lunch, dinner, … Did I mention they have a nice Happy Hour!? Yes they do! I have recommended it and will definitely revisit“
“The closest you will get to Dominican food without being in Dominican Republic. The sangria is also extremely strong, which is an amazing thing. Absolutely love this place, strongly recommend everything on the menu especially the rotisserie chicken, best chicken ever, my go-to spot every time I cross the GWB. 5/5“
“Comida Buenisima... Lo único tienes que pedir los platos iguales como estan en la carta... Eramos 4 y nos cobraron 5 platos... Deberian de cambiar esto no todas las personas pueden comer el plato exacto como lo tienen... ppr un mofongo aparte nos cobraron el plato del mofongo completo...“
“Went here for dinner midweek. Food was excellent. Great apps including empanadas. The beef one was exceptional. Also had a salmon crudo app which was on special. Many specials at this place. Fish is a specialty I went with halibut which came with an awesome leek based sauce. My friend had a steak and it came with an awesome sauce too. Desert was a banana bread pudding in a sugary sauce again. This place has sauce!! Service nice and friendly quite attentive. Place is big with a nice seating area downstairs as well as a private room highly recommended go check it out.“
“There is not much variety of food, the atmosphere is good but there is no place to give celebration surprises, I didn't like that. I went to celebrate my first year anniversary and I couldn't give the surprise because they didn't do that there. That's what I liked. I'm quite disappointed.“
“Unexpected authetic Spanish Market in the City that you can't miss if you love food from Spain and you want to feel like being in Spain! The tortilla de patatas is amazing and so is the rest of the food such as Pulpo a la gallega and Jamon Iberico! A little bit pricey but worth the money given the location and the quality of the food. Will return to try Paella, empanada gallegas, croquetas and patatas bravas! Strongly recommended for a real Spanish experience in NYC!“
“Everything about this restaurant is just lovely--the food, the atmosphere, the service, and the drinks! If you're looking for excellent Spanish seafood in a lively atmosphere with moody lighting, highly recommend Casa Dani. I took a couple clients to dinner and could navigate the food menu just fine but I know almost nothing about Spanish wine. The tall (and handsome) sommelier was so knowledgeable and attentive, it really made the experience a memorable one. Will definitely return!“
“Excellent food! The service was great. We went twice during our trip to NY and the place was packed on both occasions. We were given champagne on the house for being repeat customers, it was a nice suprise. Wonderful atmosphere, highly recommend a visit.“
“Uncle Peter’s was a wonderful dining experience! The service was great. Our entrees included the grilled skirt steak and pesto gnocchi. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the pesto gnocchi was very delicious— a great vegetarian option. The crème brûlée was fantastic, and delicious cocktails as well. Everything was top notch quality and there is nothing better than that ✨ would 100% come back and recommend to others ?“
“Yes Mama is one of the best discoveries of Astoria this year!Jessica runs the business all by herself and does a damn good job of it! Not only did she cook homemade Puerto Rican recipes, but she hires entertainment along with having a great selection of wine.I had the Carne Guisada (beef stew with white rice) and it felt like I was eating a mother’s cooking. Paired it with a couple glasses of Rosasera and a lovely Latin jazz band playing in the background and it was heaven. There were even some board games for us the play with while we waited on our food.Topped off the night by splitting a plate of the coquito flan served with the most adorable heart shaped spoons. It was so rich and decadent. If you live in or venture out to Astoria, please please please pay this place a visit! You’ll be so happy you did!“
“Always have such a good experience when I dine here. The food is incredible. Drinks are tasty and fun. The staff is always so welcoming and lovely. Definitely recommend for a date night or a night out with friends! Oh and the churros are out of this world!“
“Delicious and authentic Puerto Rican food. The yellow rice is soft and tasty; it is very well made. The pernil is also very well cooked but does lack a bit of seasoning, it still taste good but I think they cook can add a bit more seasoning to it and it will be PERFECT! I always feel like I am back at home whenever I order from Mis Raices.“
“Had a cute date here with my partner after wanting to try this place for a long time. I’m from spain and I thought the food was great actually! We got the setas, pulpo, and paella de mariscos. All of the seafood was tasty and cooked really well. Definitely will return.“
“Pil Pil gives the complete dining experience! Tapas style allows you to explore a bunch of different dishes and flavors, and they know how to combine flavors! SUCH a cozy atmosphere too, feels like you’re dining in a vineyard. The service is warm and welcoming. The Pan con Tomate was a great starter — perfectly toasted with fresh tomatoes on top. These guys do chorizo right ?? Empanadillas de Puerco y Chorizo and the Spanish chorizo were some of my favorite dishes. Highly recommend trying the chorizo! Mac & Cheese croquetas were bomb! Worth getting for the table. Carne Adobada and fries were delightful — tender, savory skirt steak and I LOVED the seasoned fries and sauce duo. If you’re into coffee, end the meal with the espresso ice cream. It’s the right amount of bitter and creamy.Highly recommend this place for quality food, new flavors, calming atmosphere, and friendly service.“
“Found this place on a whim while waiting for Movies with Lin Manuel Miranda at United Palace. Pleasantly surprised by the delicious tapas- garlic shrimp, goat stuffed peppers, sangria and little seafood burrito- and service. Will be back for more!“
“This is probably the prettiest Noches de Colombia I've been to. Very big restaurant with bar & bakery- Nice music Friendly Staff, Delicious food & drinks. Their Pan de Bono's are THE BEST!!!!! Not even in Colombia I've had pan de Bono's like this. Highly recommend!!! Their Staff is always super professional.“
“Easy 5 stars, even with a long wait for the bar… b/c they were fully booked and we came in on a Saturday evening with no reservation at the last minute, so that was COMPLETELY understandable. I’m only mentioning it b/c i recommend getting a reservation and so that if you go, and it’s busy, be prepared to wait, but it is worth worth it! They even brought out two tapas to thank us for waiting it out. The octopus (seared perfectly), and mushroom croquettes were his favorite, while the shishito peppers, and camarones de ajillo were my strong favorites (I needed more bread for the amazing hot garlic olive oil at the bottom). I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you have any interest in Spanish tapa style of food. The potatoes bravas were good, I like mine super crispy so I would ask for that the next time. I had cava this time, but they have some amazing sangria and cocktails.“
“Check this place if you in Downtown Garfield...Stop in for a snack and drink ...I got an arepa a few chicken empanada ? that meal was delicious ......ask about the natural fuit juice .They even have espresso and real Colombian coffee ....wake u rite up ...lol .....“
“This has got to be one of the best restaurants in New Jersey. I am not exaggerating when I say they have the most tender and delicious octopus I've ever had. All the food was amazing here. Duck empanadas, Spanish octopus and the squid ink paella - WOW! Everyone working here is super nice and has a passion for the great food they are serving up. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“
“Each time I’ve visited, I’ve had a lovely experience. The servers are attentive, hospitable, and knowledgeable. That’s what keeps me coming back. We tried a few different wines - most interestingly a Xarelo! We had an exceptional experience with the server, Mario last week!“
“We could not be happier with how our evening turned out at Olar Noso.A pretty place located right off of Tappan road, there’s ample parking and not a long wait time around 20:00 to be comfortably seated. The restaurant is spacious, lively but not noisy, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Liv, our server, was on point with giving explanations and suggestions on the entrees. We absolutely loved the Salad: I think it consisted of: shredded ricotta salata, pear, pomegranate, arugula, walnuts, and farro (wheat berries), yum, a perfect symphony of flavors which has become one of my favorite dishes. The three of us ordered to share, we commenced with the Gnocchetti "Little pillows" of goat cheese and ricotta with hand-crushed organic tomato, caramelized eggplant, basil, ricotta salata, we found it to be a perfect combination of flavors with every bite. Next were the pizzas; Soppressata pizza topped withtomato, mozzarella, Soppressata, chili oil and honey (the added honey complimented the chili oil). Next, I was outvoted to try the pistachio pizza.. I’ve never had this in my life and asked Liv (as a fellow foodie) for guidance… with mixed reviews, it was decidedly my least favorite, however, it would be interesting to try it with pistachio nuts in a 60/40 blend (in a Vitamix) with ricotta as a spreadable topping (similar to the way a Nutella pizza is prepared). The food was amazing, you can tell their heart is in courtship with creativity by their constant pursuit to invent new and well balanced entrees (with lots to choose from). It’s great to see the way the restaurant blends locally sourced and seasonal ingredients into new creations bringing the farm to table experience for their patrons to enjoy. I would absolutely recommend this place and look forward to visiting again.“
“The food was excellent, and the service was great. Sangria was really superb, even though the portions of the food were not so big. The ambiance is so nice and cozy.I'm definitely going back soon!!!!!Parking: Finding a parking spot close to the entrance of the restaurant can be difficult, especially on busy hours like dinner time.“
“Pretty decent spot, not too far away from 46 which is good. Handicap accessible as the whole establishment is on one floor I had the sweet Thai chili wings extra crispy, and Lord were they amazing!! I was obsessed and so sad that I was done eating them Lol. The Bartender and Bar were super attentive and helpful. Love the service!Parking: Probably more than 20 parking spotsWheelchair accessibility: No steps all on ground level/one floor.“
“Juan was a consummate professional. This is proper old school Spanish food. Like going back in time but not stale in any way. Menu is extensive and classic in the sense the dish titles say it all - no flowery ingredient descriptions needed. Perfect temperature and seasoning of classic dishes.“
“Top-notch food choices. We had the snapper for2 ($85), which was delicious. Came with a gem salad, but nothing else. Roasted artichokes ($18) were also fabulous. Dessert was their own cheesecake ($12), which was out of this world yummy. More like creme brulee, but fabulous. Tomato bread ($11) I'd skip next time. My only complaint was prices were about 30% higher than they should have been. Waiter asked us what was the special occasion. Now I know why.“
“Unfortunately I am attempting to finish this review in 2024, long after visiting this establishment so I do not recall my visit here besides giving it 5/5 stars. So in my very trusted book of ratings, I absolutely enjoyed this spot and the food was amazing. So I'll be back and do a better job reviewing next time.“
“On a very rainy night Comfortable seat at the bar. Having one of the 3 special on their menu Very professional old school set up great staff of 2 that are always very friendly Mussel fresh and plenty the sole delicious with either a side of rice or broccoli I had the rice. And flan was the dessert It's a go to for a single person dinner romantic one with someone special or larger party's the place is very inviting once inside. Don't let the old outside fool you.“
“Good food! Excellent service! The waitress was very nice and attentive and the food was delicious. I had the special of the day. It was soup with potatoes and meat. Not 100% sure what I ate exactly, but it hit the spot. It was perfect for the weather and was incredibly filling. And for just $12!“
“My husband and I went to Zona De Cuba for our 25th wedding anniversary ❤️ Everyone was wonderful! From the door man to the restaurant worker's ❤️ We enjoyed ourselves So much! A little expensive, but when Everything is good Vibes it can't be matched! The waiter even made a surprise dessert for us? I would love to go again ❤️ #LoveZonaDeCuba ?“
“I came in here with my mom and we ordered a bunch of empanadas. The service was really fast, even though we ordered about 15 or so. Without us even asking, they organized everything so that we knew which empanadas were which. The empanadas are pretty good. My favorite was the Thai chili chicken, it was the most flavorful and delicious!!“
“This is by far, and I mean BY FAR the cleaniest Dominican restaurant i been in. Pastelitos on point, that's hard to find. Most importantly Fresh, Good vibes plus excellent service, We all know that's hard to find now in days. Im really happy with this spot. After pandemic restaurant and service not same anymore, and more expensive. Definitely go back.“
“This restaurant does seafood right. The paella was perfect, as were the soccer shrimp. The appetizers consisting of fried calamari and shrimp in garlic sauce were excellent. The unsung hero of the meal was the fresh baked bread that allowed the delicious sauce to be sopped up like sponge. The only real downside is the dining room that lacks any real character or vibe.“
“Beautiful restaurant and very professional staff and they checked off the Open Table reservation.. Brunch has some creative dishes at very reasonable prices. Valet parking leaves you steps from the entrance. Looking forward to coming back for Dinner.“
“Space is limited, if possible I recommend buying to go. However, we were a group of 6 and the ladies kindly helped us accommodate two tables. The food was delicious, and the portion was more than enough. Perfect to get out of the fast food routine to eat something more homemade. I would definitely go again“
“Very good if your looking for a quick eat. My favorite order is BBQ chicken thighs with sweet potato fries. I highly suggest trying their chinola pineapple drink super good. When I want my order two last me for about 2-3 days I get a whole chicken with a side of BBQ sauce which is hands down a 10/10. Chicken ranch is great, quick service, and tasty eating for an affordable reasonable price.“
“It was nice to find a Halal place where I could sit down and eat. My only takeback was that I was hoping to find the usual chicken over rice or chicken Gyro, but they serve chicken, biryani, and other Indian base Halal foods. That was not an issue as what I ordered tasted very good. I had grilled chicken over salad and my friend had chicken tacos. There was a variety of food choices, so you will definitely find what you like and the food is tasty.“
“Fantastic food! The grilled calamari was the star dish - beautifully cooked with some great flavors! As was the octopus, patatas brava and the paella valencia. Also the sangria was delicious - fruity and boozy - and went down really well with the food. Good service too. Will definitely head back for more tapas and sangria soon.“
“I loved it. I was pleased with the attention and the welcome of the people who work and serve there. They tell me that at night they have a great atmosphere. It was not very crowded, which made me feel comfortable. The food was fabulous. They have parking and very lively music. I went from the Bronx and I would gladly return. The portions of food are good. I ordered churrasco with fried yucca and for my son, churrasco with shrimp. We also ordered the Paisa tray. Everything was delicious and the pina colada is delicious. fantastic we enjoyed everythingParking: They have valet parking“
“The atmosphere was great, loved all the lights and the overall layout of the place. The music was way too loud though. Had to text my date to communicate we couldn't hear each other lol. The food was bangin tho. I had the empanadas, my date had the lobster with steak. Our waitress was excellent too, took our orders very accurately and swiftly despite how noisy it was. She was knockout too very pretty. The music itself was awesome too, a few decibels down would've been golden. Great experience overall, Shoutout to the staff!“
“We ordered three tapas plates without realizing they had a prix fixe group menu, which included all three of the tapas we originally ordered. I asked if we could get the group menu ( 5 tapas and two paellas) and just get two more of the tapas choices and continue from there. The server said they could do that. Instead they brought five more tapas , including once again the three tapas we originally ordered, and two new ones, then the two paellas. We were charged for the original three tapas and then the group menu as well. It was way too much food and too much money, and ruined my dining experience.“
“I recently visited Sofrito in Harlem with friends for a delightful dinner and drinks experience. The ambiance, with views overlooking Riverside Drive and the water, was truly breathtaking. Plus, their valet parking for only $20 was a convenient perk given the area's parking challenges. Now, onto the main event – the food! I opted for the whole pernil with rice, beans, and sweet plantains, priced at $40. The portion size was generous and utterly satisfying. We also indulged in their chicken, beef, and Cuban empanadas, all bursting with flavor. Personally, I couldn't get enough of the beef and Cuban varieties. The Chuletas De Cerdo were juicy and impeccably seasoned, while the chicharrón de pollo and carne frita were equally enjoyable. The atmosphere, enhanced by a DJ spinning classic and current hits, made for a memorable experience. While the service was quick, we felt a bit rushed out by our server(s), which was slightly disappointing. Additionally, some dishes were a touch too salty for my taste, and the tables near the windows felt a bit cramped. However, despite these minor drawbacks, I would still highly recommend Sofrito for a fantastic dining experience in Harlem.Parking: $20 for valet“
“Just had a perfectly cooked Rib Eye in a very comfortable atmosphere. Meson is the Absolute standard in the area for a traditional Spanish steakhouse. Been coming here for years. The restaurant is run like a clock, HQ fish and meat and the staff is highly professional. Well run establishment.“
“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant around me. I love the horchata they make it so good and everything else aswell me n my family tried the entire menu I really recommend it mostly if you want a good horchata This is the placeKid-friendliness: Every time I call for delivery they answer me with kindness and that’s what we love“
“There were lots of cars outside which I knew was a good sign! It's a very casual Dominican takeout spot near La Guardia Airport and a friend and I were looking for a quick breakfast. They had pre-made food at a hot bar behind the counter. Staff was friendly and we were served quickly. Food was hot and delicious!“
“Excellent food, although the portions could be larger. We had sangria, fried calamari, Arroz Pescador. The service was truly out of the scale. Flaco even sang “Happy Anniversary” to us with a complimentary flan and candle. He was funny (dropped by our table on purpose just to say a joke or two). Really lovely person.Parking: Easy“
