My fish and chicken was cooked well done how I like it (didn't even have to ask) they give you nice sized portions, and the food is seasoned to the Gods! “I ate there for a team building event with my coworkers. The location was not crowded upon arrival. Our party was seated fairly quickly. We placed our drink orders shortly after we were seated. There were a lot of menu options. We ordered a variety of appetizers, drinks, and food. The food portions were a very good size. We dined sufficiently and everyone enjoyed their food. We were full and did not have any room to eat desserts. I would eat at the location again.“

“This seems to be a meeting place for friends. I saw several tables of 2 or more gentlemen enjoying coffee & breakfast together. There was another table of several family members. I noted the staff was familiar with what some of the patrons ordered on a regular basis & stopped & chatted for a bit. The food was good (the biscuits were soft all around, not hard on the bottom like some). I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns & a biscuit & gravy. The dining room appeared clean. Prices are reasonable. Would recommend.“

“Love there pancakes, the potatoes-no seasoning the best for me. Always get the Two by four. Eggs are mostly cooked right. Everytime I go the eggs are never cooked to fast where they have a golden ring around them. HAPPY FOR THAT! Bacon/this time ham is always cook well. I already mentioned the pancakes. “We celebrated my husbands birthday at Jellicos. It was great, a hidden gem for sure. The poblano white bean dip was amazing! The filet mignon was delicious and tender. We had one little problem with the meats, I asked for the filet mignon to be medium well, and my husband wanted his T Bone to be medium, and they mixed those terms, the T bone also needed a bit more flavor but everything else was delicious. The servers and everyone were great, but Hala made the night special. What a sweet soul! She made sure my husband got a birthday cake and sang the song even when no one else joined! The curve lounge was packed, but it looked like fun, and prices were surprisingly low, we would come back and try the lounge too !“

“I like was surprised by how good the food is here.We had rosemary chicken and it was so scrumptious, it just fell right off the bone. We also tried chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and the cornbread —sweeeet!The rice was okay, but not our favorite.But guys, the sweet potatoes? Lord have mercy. These are divine.The dining room is under construction, so there’s no way to eat there now, but I’m sure the atmosphere will be lovely when they’re done. They only had 1 high chair and it was already promised to another family when we got there so my 16 month old had to sit in in our laps/regular chair. Also there is no changing table or space in the bathrooms. I would totally go there again but probably wouldn’t bring my little one!“

“Arrived at an off hour 4pm on a weekend. They have lots of beer but for some reason, I got the wine tasting. It was ok. Brussel sprouts appetizer was great and my black and blue burger was fantastic! The added jalapeños were just the right heat! Onion rings were amazing! The vegan blackbean burger was a little disappointing. It didn't have a lot of flavor and just fell apart, needed more binder to keep things together. That said, still a solid 4 out of 5 and we'll be back if only for that black and blue burger. Wednesday its half off!!!“

“The food is great! The only downfall is joining the list. When you join the list as they require you may find that you end up move as more people join. When we arrive there two group join (my family and couple) shortly after no less then 5 minutes people started to come in and join and we moved down to the 10 spot. This had me in a hold. I asked the host and she states the app does the placement. So be sure to join before you go or be patience.We waited for 20 minute before be seated, it was worth the wait. We had a AMAZING server name Brice. The guy was on point!!! Kudos to guy, he was serving several tables didn’t seem to miss a beat. Thank you all for wonderful service!!!“

“We came in for lunch on Sunday April 7th and was seated by the friendly young hostess. She then told us our server would be: Ryan. When he arrived at the table he seemed to not want to be there and seemed rude. We get our drinks about 15 minutes after ordering them and then had to flag down the manager at the 30 minute mark. We got our drinks and no bread.The manager Julio was very friendly and mentioned something about they don't bring bread anymore until you get your food, UNLESS, you get an appetizer. We also mentioned that Ryan seemed to have somewhat of an attitude and didn't seem to want to be there. He quickly got the bread and came back and told us that: He was upset because he doesn't want to work on Sundays. Fair enough!We'll return to this location as the food is always good and worth what you pay for. However, I WILL MAKE IT A POINT NOT TO EVER GET RYAN AGAIN! Second time, same verse.“

“The food has always been great here, but today the GM Kailey really went above and beyond with customer service. I called before the store even opened this morning, needing help with a really small (I mean tiny!) order for the Easter meal. First of all, she answered the phone before official hours; and second, she went out of her way to help me even though she was working to get a ton of orders ready. She didn’t have to do that but she chose to, and it was the one thing that went right during a frustrating morning. Any restaurant can have good or great food, but when the GM goes out of her way to help when it’s not convenient…you know it’s a place that deserves your money and loyalty. “We recently stopped in for a late lunch at Cotton Patch Café in Watauga. Service was fast and friendly. The chicken fried steak and sides were the best I’ve had anywhere in quite some time! Definitely worth going back to Watagua for another visit . Our servers, Matt and Brandon, made it a thoroughly pleasant experience. They recommended the large size meal, and we enjoyed the leftovers tonight… almost as much as being there.“

The strips here have a way better flavor than the 55-ingredient chicken seasoning Chick-Fil-A has (yes it has 55-ingredients!) The chicken is always HOT and made fresh to order. “Cracker Barrel has been a great restaurant and country store in the past but it’s declined in the last couple of years because of the pandemic, so many of the previous employees ( kitchen and wait staff) who were delivering top quality and good service moved on during the pandemic shutdown and now have new employees who are having issues living up to Cracker Barrel standards of pre-pandemic years. If the corporate leadership will be proactive and bring back the previous years quality of service and improve the food preparation to the previous standards, then I will patronize the restaurant at the same level as I have in the past.“

For instance I order pan cakes eggs bacon, sausage etc all of it was room temperature; the butter didn’t spread over the “freshly “ make pancake. You don’t want to send it back cause that more drama.
