“The environment is great, the menu is very diverse, and seemingly commonplace dishes manage to be innovative in flavor”
“Amazing! The sushi tasting menu was exceptional and filling! Delicious and whimsical cocktails. Bar in the back, very hip and chic workout being pretentious. Wagyu beef skewers from the bar was one of the best things I’ve ever had. All the skewers were amazing and the fried chicken and other bar snacks are classic bar foods, but way elevated- can not wait for the rest of the space to open!”
“Loved the Chef's Menu - so much variety and flavors! Wine Pairing was reasonable - wines were fine. Great service with detailed descriptions. Gladly handled allergies with substitutions. We could talk and hear each other!”

“Tyvell or twin he said is a outstanding worker his is a real lil funny guy who means a lot when it come to his business, he has good skills and I really appreciate his hospitality.”
“Walking past and dropped in for dinner. Great tasting food in a good serving size. Staff extremely friendly and quick. So good we came back the next night for more. Ww tried different dishes and again simply superb meals.”
“I ate at Los Caballeros during a solo trip to Washington, DC, and this was by far the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. It’s such a quaint little spot tucked away closed to the Capital.
I went around 3 PM, and there was only one other party inside, which made it feel cozy and relaxed. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the seafood enchiladas, which were absolutely fantastic and perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The rice that came with the meal was excellent, and their homemade salsa was on point.
I also ordered two frozen strawberry margaritas, and they were incredible — super slushy rather than icy, just the right consistency. Everything about this meal impressed me. I even recommended Los Caballeros to a friend visiting DC the following week.
If you’re in the area and craving authentic, flavorful Mexican food with great service, this place is a must-try! 🌮🍓🍹”
“I bought the olive and cascara. I haven’t tried the cascara yet. The olive sourdough was pretty good BUT the olive taste is strong, I’m sure it also depends on what you eat with it or alone.”
“If you want great food & excellent service this is the place to go to. The staff is very friendly. Flavourful juicy best tacos 🌮 ever had in the DMV area. Drinks 🍸 🔥 A MUST try spot 💛”
“Went to Mixxed DC for Saturday brunch with a party of six, and overall it was a great experience. First off, love that it's Black-owned and has a dope graffiti-style vibe inside. I was originally supposed to go in August, and they were super accommodating with rescheduling.
We were seated right away and opted for the unlimited mimosa special ($50), which includes one entrée. Just a heads up: everyone at your table has to participate in the special to get it, which was a little frustrating since one of us doesn't drink. Thankfully, they made an exception and let him do unlimited mocktails so we could all still enjoy the deal.
Since we had six people, they gave us three pitchers, and those mimosas were hittin! Highly recommend trying the peach flavor. We definitely left brunch very tipsy lol.
For food, I had the Biscoff pancakes, which were rich and tasty--7/10. Only thing I'd change is how the cookie butter was only on the top pancake; I would've loved it layered throughout. They came with fresh fruit and I added a side of scrambled eggs.
I also got to try the shrimp and grits which was definitely a standout! 9/10. So flavorful!
We added a hookah to our experience (separate from food, around $40), and it was a fun touch. The DJ came in during the middle of our brunch and turned it up with 90s/2000s rap and R&B, had the whole place vibing.
Service was great, staff was friendly and helpful the whole time. I'd absolutely recommend Mixxed for a fun brunch outing with friends. Just make sure your whole crew is ready for bottomless!”
“Fun night for two out of towners! Food was amazing and the staff were incredibly friendly, even though we’re two or three times their ages and not cool at all! ;)”

“Incredible restaurant that puts elevated care, attention to detail, and quality ingredients front and center.
Unpretentious in austere but refined in the approach to your hospitality experience, this gem nestled in the heart of AdMo is a must-see for all hungry foodies in the area.
My experience with Imani and Amina will be the reason I return and tell my friends to go. Their storytelling, command of the menu, and easy approach to creating an elevated dining experience did not go unnoticed.
Meatball and porkchop were a hit in tenderness and flavor, while the cabbage and pudding were a hit in dynamics and design. Major shout out to Amina for bringing over the perfect wine pairing to complement our porkchop—on the house.
These moments create the fine dining experience and make the price point worthwhile.”

“Sushi Taro used to be considered one of the top Japanese restaurants in the city, but it is not surprising they no longer are on the Michelin guide in 2025. The table service was good, but the rest of the service was mediocre. The food itself does feel overpriced for the quality, only a few select items were notable. Really not a destination for sushi or sashimi. Nothing they are doing terribly wrong per se, just nothing to write home about.”
“Amazing dishes. Chive cakes, marigold, Laos wine, the butterfly and hummingbird were delicious. The presentation on the pla tong ma was almost as good as the flavor. Aim helped us choose our dishes and provided excellent service.”

“I've been here 3 times and this place is probably my current favorite bar in the city. The drinks, the food, the vibes, and the service are all impeccable. I keep bringing out of towners and everyone loves it.
I've had pretty much every drink and food item on the menu and they're each unique and worth trying. I particularly like the elevated papusas and michelada feels fancy yet somehow still authentic. However, the Ni de Aqui Ni de Alla drink perfectly summarizes the place and fits well with their current Top 50 Latin playlist in the background. You don't often hear Bad Bunny, Ozuna, and the latest Shakira in high-end cocktail bars. While anyone can feel at home here, it's a particular joy to those who've lived in Latin America.
Note that it's generally reservation only and quite intimate with just a bar area downstairs and about 3 small tables upstairs.”
“Finding a Filipino restaurant isn’t easy. So learning about Purple Patch thru Jo Koy—has ended this search! Literally, Filipino cuisine heaven! The restaurant is uniquely decorated, the staff were friendly, & the food hit that major comfort button for us! Thank you Zahara for being so sweet & a wonderful waitress. We can’t wait to come back for more!”
“As an Iranian-American, I can happily say that Rumi’s gets it ALL correct. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and it’s the best. And the staff are ALL amazing!!! I will always be loyal to this place!”
“We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.”

“RUN, DON'T WALK to Just AJs Veenies. They're at pretty much all the DC farmers markets, and they're absolutely delicious. They are DC's best kept secret, and these shouldn't be a secret. Their food is honestly the best in town, next to Fancy Radish. Vegan or nonvegan, AJs Veenies are a must eat.”
“Subway is always a good option when I want something quick and made the way I like it. The sandwiches are fresh, and I appreciate having so many choices for bread, toppings, and sauces.
Service is usually friendly and fast. It’s not fancy, but it’s exactly what you expect — a good, reliable meal when you’re on the go.”
“literally floored by the customer service. Went here last night needing a pickle pizza and good vibes sooo bad. Dante, Malachi and Jermaine were DOLLS. They were so helpful. I don’t wanna get them stuck in midnights shifts but those men bring the vibes at night. Can’t say enough good things about them. we had a ball.”
“It's very clean and spacious. Lots of tables and seats, excellent for family get together. Orders are prepared very fast, and people here are polite.
Parking: I love The crispy chicken. It's so tasty.
Kid-friendliness: Very friendly store in a nice neighborhood.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's flat. Easy to enter”

“Agora DC made my husband’s surprise birthday dinner party one to remember! From the superior customer service and professionalism of their special events management team, including Tsednia Abay, to the Michelin Star-worthy food and service, no detail was left untouched. Thank you to your entire team!😍”
“My experience at Oyster Oyster was wonderful. Every dish was creative and beautifully executed, and I loved hearing the stories behind where each ingredient came from. Everything we tried was flavorful and unique. The only thing keeping this from being a perfect five was that the main entrée (the eggplant dumplings) didn’t quite deliver the same punch as the earlier courses. It was still good, just not quite the showstopper I expected as the final savory dish. Overall, though, a memorable and thoughtful dining experience.”
“Our son lives in the area and we have been here 4-5 since January ( every time we visit) The owners are wonderful and the staff very attentive The fish taco appetizer is wonderful ( can be enough for an entree if not wanted a big meal) I’ve had many of the entrees and never a bad meal . The chocolate dessert is my go to”
“Every time I’ve been to Albi, we have reserved the Chef’s Table—and it’s absolutely worth every penny. The team goes above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions, making sure every guest has the best possible experience. The food is consistently amazing, thoughtfully prepared, and presented beautifully. By the end of the meal, I was so full and completely satisfied. Truly a special dining experience that I’d recommend to anyone looking for something unique and memorable.”

“5 stars isn't enough!! From the moment we walked in until the end of our night we were satisfied. The decorations, food, and service was amazing! They even offered me a quiet place to pray :). Give this place a try-trust me (portions may seem small, but it was very filling- we ordered the bowl of fries, which came with a delicious sauce, CROQUETTES, fish burger, beef burger, and gnocchi pomodoro. It felt like we were in nyc enjoy :)”
“First visit; I went for Restaurant Week. I ordered the chicken corn chowder, the short rib ravioli and the caramel cheesecake. The chowder was excellent, a great balance of corn and chicken and a goodly amount--but not too much--pepper. I loved it...and a very generous portion! The ravioli was super too--cooked to perfection, stuffed to capacity with cheese, accompanied by a nice hunk of well-seasoned and -cooked short rib. I wasn't able to finish it, so I took some home. I took the cheesecake home too and ate it after a couple of conf calls. Just the right amount of caramel with a couple of strawberries and a creme Anglaise sauce. Scrumptious!! I don't remember many occasions when I've loved all three courses of a meal, but that was certainly the case tonight. I can't wait to go back.”
“The Saga is a great experience from start to finish. When you walk in, the space is beautiful, light-filled, and spacious. You're greeted, seated quickly, and the entire team works together to help ensure you and your party are having a great time. We ordered the tapas tour, which was a whirlwind of delicious and inventive small plates. Some of our favorites were the fried calamari, the Spanish sausage, the bacon-wrapped blue cheese-stuffed dates, and the spicy olive oil marinated shrimp. Incredible!! For dessert, we couldn't resist a small cheese plate and the tropical-flavored dessert. We also got some mango sorbet to top it all off. The only comment I'd make about the tapas tour experience is that I wished the tapas came out at a more paced speed, so that we could savor each dish more individually. But really, I also could have asked for that and I think the team would have accommodated the request! What an amazing time, thank you so much to everyone on the team!”
“I never write reviews but our anniversary dinner yesterday was amazing. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. The pre-fixe menu is worth it, especially for a first time diner. We're planning our next reservation already.”
“We value the seamless service and understated elegance. A trusted venue for business and celebration alike.”
Fine Dining
“Bottom line up front, Cranes is a MUST for DC’s Winter Restaurant Week! From the hostess's accommodation of our late arrival, friendly greeting, and front door coat check to our waiter’s, Elmer, and wait staff’s attentive service throughout our visit, Cranes was superb! The Faux-jito, Squash Hummus, Ramen, and Iberico Pork Fried Rice were fantastic! When there was a problem with our bill, it was quickly resolved. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend!!!”
“We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Mita and had an unforgettable experience. The staff was kind and welcoming, and the space felt deeply connected to both culture and the earth. It’s rare to find plant-based food that’s this healthy and delicious. Every dish was thoughtful and satisfying — perfect for a special date night. Can’t wait to come back!”
“There’s something quietly electric about Pascual, the kind of restaurant that makes you whisper to your dining neighbor, “You must try this… Don’t miss that…” Nestled in D.C.’s Capital Hill, the casual yet contemporary Mexican spot from chefs Isabel Coss and Matt Conroy has doubled its space since opening just a year and a half ago. With the addition of a new outdoor patio, the energy now spills beyond its 30-seat dining space making more room for mezcal-fueled conversation and corn-scented dishes.
Chef Isabel herself is a ray of light. Her warmth is as memorable as the food, and on our visit, staff Emely and Jeremiah kept that energy flowing with the kind of attentiveness that makes you feel like a regular. The menu, which changes weekly, revolves around whichever heirloom corn varieties the kitchen has sourced that week. During our visit, it was Amarillo Bolita from Oaxaca and Azul Cónico from Estado de México.
We kicked things off with Guacamole and Tostadas, then went wild and ordered all the sauces: macha, verde, borracha, habanero, smoked papaya, and shishito escabeche. Each one offered a different kind of fire or funk, transforming the rest of our meal into a choose-your-own-flavor adventure.
The Kampachi Crudo was a stunner bathed in a husk cherry leche de tigre and touched with turmeric, it set a playful yet precise tone. The Bangs Island Mussels Tostada followed, topped with avocado, salsa negra, and epazote aioli that looked more like art than appetizer.
Vegetable dishes here are anything but afterthoughts. The Chayote Salad with sunflower seeds, guajillo oil, and Asian pears brought bright texture and balance, while the Infladita stuffed with squash purée, smoked goat ricotta, and uni mousse hit a deeply savory-sweet note.
The North Carolina Shrimp Tamal was tender and perfumed with huacatay. But it was the Badger Flame Beets that stopped us in our tracks, a colorful composition with hazelnut salsa macha, smoked ricotta, and opal basil. We paired that with Pork Belly Carnitas, rich and crisp with honeycrisp purée, purple shiso, and a hint of habanero.
Dessert continued the theme with a Chocolate Tamal with hoja santa ice cream and masa crumble delivered an earthy satisfaction. But the showstopper? The Nixtamalized Pear with pistachio ice cream, toasted meringue, and key lime—a refreshing reminder that a fruit as a dessert can surprise you.
The bar is just as thoughtful as its kitchen, spotlighting a tight but stellar list of agave spirits that leans into small producers and Mexican terroir. The cocktails riff on familiar classics with twists—think a Huacatay Old Fashioned with plum sake, a Fallin’ Empire with both Mexican Fernet and corn whiskey, and xila amaro, banana and lime. Inventive sips that carry the same earthy, layered flavors found on the plate.
Pascual transported us to Mexico City. The rhythm, the energy, the ever-evolving expression of corn and fire. In a city full of restaurants, this one feels like it’s simply chasing flavor, and that’s exactly what makes it shine.”
“We heard about Rania from social media and since we love Indian food, making a reservation was a no brainer. Reading some of the negative comments prior to dining there had us feeling hesitant but hopeful. I'm happy to say, we had an excellent experience there. Everyone from the hostess to the bus boys and wait staff were attentive, welcoming and polite. The food was top notch and the cocktails were presented in a really fun and creative way. The only negative was the noise level. My husband and I had to raise our voices to hear one another speak. Otherwise, we had an excellent experience at Rania and would love to dine there again.”
“Booked here because of the Michelin star rating but will go back for the service. After a bit of bumpy start, the Manager was quite accommodating and what an excellence recovery. Enjoyed the premium omakase, sake and whiskey. Never felt rushed even though the restaurant filled quickly. We were visiting from Texas but will make this a regular stop next time in town.”
“Superlative tasting menu, top notch wine parings, outstanding service, from a staff that outnumbers the clientele, what’s not to like? Yes it’s small, so leave the soccer team meetup for the pizza place. For Lutece, bring your favorite couple or 1 or 2 very special friends”
“Went to Kitchen +Kocktails for the first time last night. The decor was very nice, and the music was good and not obnoxious. Our server Ally was terrific! I’m not a drinker, so when I asked her if there were any cocktails that didn’t taste like alcohol, I thought she would look at me like I was crazy, but she didn’t! She seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and immediately had a couple of suggestions. I went with the mixed berry lemon drop and it was perfect for me. The crab cake appetizers and shrimp and grits with lobster tail entree were amazing. We had a great time and we’ll be back!”
“Our experience at the Occidental last night was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, every detail was executed with perfection. The menu showcased incredible range and creativity — the twin lobster tails were tender and sweet, the steak tartare was beautifully balanced, and the smoked pheasant under glass was a showstopper both in flavor and presentation. Each dish felt carefully crafted and elevated, yet approachable. The wine list was equally impressive — clearly curated with thought and depth, offering the perfect pairings to complement the meal without ever feeling overwhelming. Service was another highlight. Warm, attentive, and genuinely inviting, the staff struck that rare balance of professionalism without a hint of stuffiness, making us feel truly welcome. Though we couldn’t save room for dessert, it simply gives us the perfect excuse to return soon. The Occidental delivers a dining experience that lingers in memory — refined, flavorful, and utterly satisfying. Highly recommended!”
“The best meal I’ve had in my entire life. It’s a small, intimate environment; I’d recommend the chef’s counter. The wait staff was terrific; explaining every dish and answering questions. (The chef is also happy to talk too.) Every dish in the tasting was terrific, particular highlights were the wagyu two-ways entree, the ravioli with uni butter, and the soup at the end. Of course, it’s a seasonal menu, so you’ll probably be seeing something different—but I’m confident it’ll be excellent. Also, the cocktails were terrific.
We didn’t add the caviar, as it felt kind of like a hat on a hat, but hey… live your best life.
I will also say, with omakase menus, we often worry that we won’t be full at the end. That was not an issue. It was the perfect amount of food for us.”
“INCREDIBLE! You will do a happy dance when you bite into that lobster roll and those hot hush puppies. Everyone was lovely, hilarious, and helpful. Kelly and Naya made this a wonderful eating experience. This is a bit of a hidden gem and worth your time and dollars.”

“Many people have described this place as the best pizza in DC. While it is good and definitely has that classic NYC style, it was not five star pizza. I got the Classic Pepperoni signature pizza with burrata and hot honey - very tasty.
I got it for takeout which may have also contributed to quality of the pie. A really nice touch was that they put the buratta and hot honey on the side, which kept the pizza crispier while I brought it home.
I hope to try a fresh slice at the restaurant someday soon. They have lots of selection between their own creations and the classics. If you are in DC and craving pizza, give them a try!
Parking: Parking here is difficult”
“Hey guys want to give you all a big shout out for taking care of our Vets that are sitting in protesting the national guard and educating them about attacking our own citizens in your city. they said they stopped in to have a drink and the guy went to pay for the round and you covered their bill at least for the first round. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING OUT FOR OUR TRUE VETERANS. and GOD BLESS them and YOUR ESTABLISHMENT.”
“No other bakery like Seylou. We travel in to the city every weekend to eat here. The staff is so kind and feels like an extension of our family. They’ve taken my child behind the scenes and shown him how grains are killed and bread is baked. I could not ask for a better community and diet staple.”
“Not recommended at all! Never ever coming back worst service ever!!”
“Went here last night for the first time and loved it! We got super lucky as walk-ins and managed to snag a table (the chef's counter at that!!), but they were otherwise fully booked, so definitely make a reservation, especially on a weekend night. The place is tiny and super cute. The staff, from the host to the cooks to the bartenders and servers, were all so nice. I kept saying the place had such a relaxed vibe. Even though they were totally full, no one seemed stressed or in a hurry, and it was just really nice. They have a few tables for groups, but I think it’s the perfect spot for a two-person date night. We liked everything we ordered, including the heart of palm salad and the hen. But the real standouts were the tapioca cheese bites, the duck croquettes, and the 10 oz steak. The caipirinhas were great—mine (the original) was nice, and my husband got the passion fruit flavor, which was sweeter and he loved it. The chef was also super kind and offered us complimentary bread and a shrimp dish. Everything was excellent, and I’m already looking forward to returning and trying more of the menu!”
“We have nothing but great dining experiences at Rimtang. It’s our go-to Thai spot in Georgetown and always hits the spot. Our favorite dishes are the crab dumplings, the ka praw with pork (add an egg!), and the pad see ew. Service is always on point, they have a kind and attentive staff. Highly recommend!”
“Lamb chops steak is delicious! The fried potatoes were delicious! Brusselsprouts with fruit jam sweet and appetizing! His family's Pitabread can continue indefinitely”
“A DC classic—delicious food, excellent service, and full of historic charm. Definitely book ahead and sit in the bar or main dining room for the best vibe.”

“We had the best time at KooKoo DC last night. They accommodated a table of 14 for my spouse's birthday and never let us feel like an imposition. The food was so fresh, authentic, and reasonably priced - I did a double take when we got the bill. I even felt like we went all-out with apps, drinks, and desserts! The owner was also so kind - we just felt so cared for the whole time and can't wait to visit again.”
“Delicious fresh food, beautiful presentation. Wonderful attentive staff, highly recommend. We will definitely return to enjoy an evening with music of Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Thank you very much.”
“I love this place! The food is phenomenal! I can’t get over the tempeh burger!!!”

“Bistro Cacao was an outstanding choice to cater lunch for a very important business meeting. The food was AMAZING, from appetizers, salad, main course and dessert! Highly recommend them for your next event, meeting or just a fine place to dine!! Great Service, Great Food, Great Presentation!”
“A cute and cozy bistro with delicious food and fabulous service!”
“A friend recommended this restaurant and the waiter was very helpful in choosing our appetizers and meals, and also provided excellent wine pairings. We even had a little chat with the other guests”

“Had a happy hour reservation. The team at flight club was extremely accommodating and service was awesome. Asia was our server and she didn’t let a single person go more than 10 seconds without a drink in their hand.
Food options were great and there was something for everyone.
We asked management if we could combine our reservation with another big group, and they made the introduction and made it happen for us.
Great experience and highly recommend if not for the games at least to meet Asia!”
“Thank you so much for having my friends Kristina, Alex and I for dinner today. I just want to say that everything we had was great, my favorite being the la calabrese! Meiling took such good care of us, she is a wonderful host and we had some great conversations with her. We’ll def be back in the future to try some of the other pizzas. Your decor and ambience is fantastic as well, I really felt like I was at restaurant in Italy! Keep up the good work and thanks again for a wonderful evening!”
“We had never tried Afghani food before, and I am so glad we did. The staff was so friendly and helpful with any questions we had. They recommended the Mini Taste of Arocostia for our first time. Everything was FANTASTIC!!! The food was cooked perfectly. The service was great! We never had to ask to have our beverages filled up, because they were already on top of it before we had to ask. They packed all our leftovers into boxes for us for our way home. We will definitely be going back!”
“wonderful small family owned Thai restaurant in Washington DC. the food is excellent and the service is great.”
“Friendly, quaint and delicious food. Great service. What more do you need”
“Had a great experience. I would definitely come back next time we are in DC.”
“Did the cocktail mixing class. Great food and awesome experience!”
“First time visiting today and oh my goodness delicious! The Shashuka & Arepe was the best !! My family enjoyed the Cuban sandwich, the poke bowl and the banh mi. We will be back !”
“If you are on a gluten free diet, this restaurant is a real treat. This is the ONLY restaurant I know of in the entire DC area that offers gluten free French toast!!! It is really yummy. It is gluten free cinnamon raison bread that they make into French toast. It is served with maple syrup that has few slices of bananas in it. It is always served warm. (Be sure to look for the bananas. If the French toast is served with sliced strawberries, that is the wheat based French toast.) This restaurant also has gluten free bread so most of their sandwiches can be made gluten free upon request. And they can make their eggs benedict gluten free by using their gluten free toast. It is a very pleasant experience dining here. I usually dine outside. They are located on a small street in Georgetown. Georgetown can be crowded but on this small street, it is never very busy. On a nice weather day, it is a pleasant experience to eat the gluten free French toast while enjoying the weather. The service is always good too. I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant.”
“Mariscos 1133 is hands down one of the best brunch spots I’ve ever been to! The food selection is incredible — from savory dishes to the amazing drinks, everything was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen puts care into every plate.
The drink menu is just as impressive. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic mimosa or something more creative, their cocktails are delicious and well-balanced. The vibe is vibrant yet laid-back, making it perfect for a relaxing weekend brunch with friends or a casual date.
The service was also top-notch — friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Marisco 1133 if you’re looking for an unforgettable brunch experience!”
“From the cocktails to the service…our experience was top notch all around! Highly recommend!”

“We have been going to La Tomate for years. Retired several years ago and moved away from DC. Every time we are in DC we always go to one of our favorite restaurant, La Tomate. I love the selection on the menu, always something new to try with the daily specials. La Tomate has great staff and an excellent location. Many thanks to Natalina for having a beautiful Restaurant and delicious food. Happy Anniversary!”
“Truly fantastic food and a first rate professional staff. Always a pleasure to dine at La Bise. Amazing service, very interesting and upscale interior, and a great meal, what else could you ask for?”
“Great people, great service, great food! I've been on a mission to find Eggs Benny done right - thank you! For the breakfast, and for being an awesome part of the adventure. 😊”
“Ordered Rigatoni ($18) to go. It was good but why is the portion so small ?? You get more from Chipotle for $12. Learned my lesson but I don’t think the portion for that amount is worth- may not order this again.”
“Visited the café today! Loved the delectable and creative menu, the warm service, and the beautiful, cozy interior. We enjoyed the inasal, tocino, and ube latte (complete with delicate latte art) courtesy of Sun and Stars Coffee. Our kid was thrilled she could enjoy an ube steamer, too-- and didn't want to stir her drink because she found the art (Hiraya's logo in this instance) so beautiful. If you want reimagined, creative, and elevated Filipino cuisine where the flavors simultaneously bring back sensory memories of the comfort food of your childhood, this is the place for you. Can't wait to return!”
“on point!! don't shy away from the menu, everything we had was delicious.”
“The best experience I have ever had at a restaurant! food was amazing and the staff made us feel like we were regulars! would recommend 1000 times over!”
“Cozy restaurant with big personality. Our server was happy to be there and answer any questions asked. We got the steamed dumplings and crab Rangoon. By far the best crab Rangoon we’ve enjoyed to date. Will be back to try the drunken noodles!”
“Love everything! Can’t wait to travel to DC every year to visit.”
“We went on a Sunday night and the place was packed. One of the best staff and service. We tried their crab dip, bread service (best butter n bread), tosso stuffed chicken, oyster sliders… all of them tasted really great. Quite a big drinks n wine menu. Even has options for non alcohol too. All day happy hour on Sunday too. Will come back again.”
“very tasty Ethiopian dishes and very good atmosphere also excellent services!!!!”
“Ambar's newest location does not disappoint. If you know Ambar, it goes without saying the food is amazing. new offerings on the menu gave me some new favorites to add to my already long list. New cocktails for a new address, yes and thank you! The design esthetic is light and refreshing...And the 2nd floor ceiling is an instagram dream. Easily 5 stars.”
“I know I take terrible pictures but this DC restaurant lived up to the hype…excellent food and drinks, delivered hot and timely and the wait staff was on point. I have to thank my Facebook group and work friends for the recommendation….bonus points, it’s 6 blocks down the street.”
“it's about time! Mocktails are my jam these days. Thanks so much for opening a cool bar I don't have to worry about a drunk fight or gun shots breaking out.”
“I love going to this cafe whether it is to meet with friends or study for class! The staff is always very friendly, especially Camilo, and the drinks are fabulous. Definitely a go-to place for me in Georgetown!”
“❤️ Oku. hits everytime. every 🍾 celebration we (my fam) head straightforward there.”
“The best Italian meal I’ve ever had in a restaurant! The Sunday Sauce reminded me of my mom’s!”
“Bistro Du Jour is a great spot for a relaxed meal with a touch of class. The food is fresh and flavorful, the coffee and pastries are excellent, and the vibe feels cozy but still lively. The staff are friendly and attentive, and everything comes out beautifully presented. Definitely a place I’d come back to for brunch or a nice casual dinner.”
“Minibar went above and beyond our expectations. Due to health issues, we cannot drink alcohol and they curated special nonalcoholic drinks that paired perfectly with the exceptionally creative food!”
“Indique is a good place, when I entered into the restaurant I felt like I was in India they brought the culture of it. The food is amazing they have variety of selection in menus. Definitely going back.”

“I spent a couple hours here because my flight was delayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My Cosmos were perfectly pink. (If they’re clear and red they’re not made correctly) and only $6 during Happy Hour. I’m not a big fan of Mexican food, Cosmos I ordered the Bora Bora marinated chicken without the tortilla over rice. It was delicious! The chicken was so tender and tasty and all the flavors were wonderful. I also enjoyed watching the surfers on TV,. The waves relaxed me instead being stressed out over a delayed flight. Definitely recommend this place for its casual atmosphere and good food. Even if you don’t like Mexican!”
“I visited this place awhile ago and there is something very special about this place. i had catfish with fries and it was very fresh and not greasy at all. I had a brief conversation with owner and i was told they used very high level oil to fry the food. They definitely care about the quality of the food more than anything. I will definitely visit this place again.”
“A very inviting corner restaurant, great for people watching and cocktails. The drinks were nice and the atmosphere was lux. We went on a Saturday and it just felt like they needed a manager around. Felt like they were really understaffed and not ready for the crowds. There were some people who had worked there longer and were directing others, and the food did come out of the kitchen timely. But there wasn't a sense of table service really, you just catch them when you can, know the candle won't get lit even after you asked and teach the server how to swipe the card. I wish they had someone tending to things, but maybe when it's slower it will be better. The pizza was good, and lots of pepperoni. I wished it wasn't quite as soggy in the middle but it tasted good. And the burrata had no flavor, no nice olive oil or pepper, very bland, but it was a hearty portion. Can't complain about the drinks. I can sense when there's no service concept so I hope they get it together.”
“The food was delicious and Alejandro was a great server! He was very personable and prompt! We had the salmon cakes, banzino fish, w/greens, red beans & rice. The only thing that needed a smidge more seasoning was the fried green tomatoes. The first time I ordered them they were seasoned perfectly. I also thoroughly enjoyed the nicely cooked breakfast potatoes! This is my 3rd trip here, and I will be back!”
“After a visit to the amazing Go-Go museum we took our appetites and experienced excellent customer service from host, server & Owner. Even with a couple of menu items not being available the food was delicious, decor is relaxing, & welcoming. Owner made a table visit with a smile and great conversation. Look forward to next dining experience. My lemon drop was on point”

“Haley was absolutely fabulous. Her personality was so pleasant and she was extremely professional. She checked on us just the right amount of times and was very knowledgeable about the restaurant, even though she was relatively new. She's a true keeper. Oh yes, the food was out of this world. I know we'll be back and I've recommended it to my friends that either live in K of P or who I know visit there. it was just a lovely experience Laurie Edson”
“From the time we walked in to the time we left every employee we came in contact was so nice. You can tell the employees actually enjoy their job. We ordered a few appetizers and dinner. Everything we had was very good. I will definitely return next time we are in town. Also don't forget to get some if the homemade chocolates to bring home!”
“Our experience at Succotash was exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by a gracious hostess who congratulated us on our anniversary. It was a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the evening. Seated downstairs, we couldn't help but marvel at the restaurant's stunning architecture, our eyes constantly drawn to the soaring details and vibrant energy of the space. Our server was attentive and personable, and two managers stopped by during the meal to ensure everything was perfect; a level of hospitality that did not go unnoticed. We began with both varieties of the deviled eggs, each packed with flavor and beautifully presented. Our entrées, steaks, were cooked to absolute perfection and the sides (collard greens and creamy corn succotash) were both delicious. Throughout the evening, we were struck by how Succotash balances the sophistication of fine dining with the warmth and ease of true Southern hospitality. We left thoroughly impressed and already looking forward to our next visit.”
“We had an outstanding experience at the Hard Rock Cafe thanks to our amazing servers, Winnie and Caesar. From the moment we sat down, they were both friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. They anticipated everything we needed, kept our drinks filled, and made great recommendations from the menu.
Their teamwork and upbeat energy really stood out — you could tell they enjoy what they do and take pride in providing excellent service. It made our visit feel special and fun, which is exactly what you want at Hard Rock!
A huge thank-you to Winnie and Caesar for making our meal such a great experience. We’ll definitely be back — and hope to sit in their section again!”
“Today, Dec.13, my wife and I stopped in for first time (5:30/6:00- we are just “average joes)We were greeted by a very cheerful hostess. We were immediately shown to a table. Staff informed us the servings were “BIG” (easily serves two or three), but we are welcome to order as much as we like. There was a plethora of choices! Drinks and bread (4 different types) were promptly brought to our table. The waiter was sharp, attentive, and on his game! (Unfortunately I forgot his name). Our huge amount of food showed up, and it WAS a huge amount for two people! It was served up to our plates to start. (A very nice touch!) it was excellent! For dessert we had the tiramisu “pie”(yes it looked like and filled a very large shallow bowl and served with big serving spoon!) It was covered with shaved Belgium dark chocolate! ( It was decadent/sinful) We ate 3/4’s of the dish! The Manager (Jorge) was also very attentive and customer service oriented! He was observant and wanted us to have an excellent experience… and we did !! It was an absolute AAAAA+++++ meal! Now my new Favorite restaurant! I absolutely recommend this restaurant!”

“Casamara is an absolute standout in the world of fine dining. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with an atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and inviting. The menu is a true celebration of culinary artistry—every dish is thoughtfully crafted, bursting with vibrant flavors and presented like a work of art. The drinks are equally impressive, balancing creativity and elegance to complement the food perfectly. What truly sets Casamara apart is the impeccable service: attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about creating an unforgettable experience. Dining here isn’t just a meal—it’s a journey through taste and refinement. Highly recommend Casamara for anyone seeking next-level cuisine and hospitality.”
“Really great Thai place at Eastern Market! The interior is so fun and trendy and they have wine and beer and cocktails, a very cute bar! Will definitely be visiting regularly. We did the papaya salads for lighter fare. The spice level was perfect and you can ask for spicier if you want to.”
“I went for dinner here a month or two ago and every dish was incredible- from the ube bao bun to the tofu. We also loved the drinks.
Came back here on Friday to stop by the bar to get the Ube Colada (it’s so good!) and had such a lovely time. The bartenders are so kind and knowledgeable and it was the perfect place to close out a Friday evening.
Will definitely be back again for dinner or drinks and want to try their brunch!”
“Dining at Koryou Urara was one of the most exquisite culinary experiences I’ve had in DC! The food was beautifully simple but the freshness was unreal. It felt like each ingredient had just landed from Japan (pretty sure it did) and Chef Urara’s take on every dish was so thoughtful and unexpected, I found myself genuinely excited for what was coming next.
There was a quiet confidence in the way everything was presented from the plating to the pacing to the atmosphere. Nothing felt overdone but everything felt intentional and authentic.”
“We went on a Sunday night so my fiancé could do her groomsmen proposal. The staff was extremely accommodating and wanted to make the moment special. A few of our guest ordered food which they said were good & the mixed drinks were good as well. The manager & host went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend & we will be back.”
“Reynolds is the definition of elevated dining and social experience. Their cocktails aren’t just drinks—they’re a whole conversation, crafted with creativity and precision that makes each sip memorable. The bites are iconic, offering a perfect mix of flavor and presentation that keeps you coming back for more. And the vibe? Absolutely high-end—sophisticated yet inviting, making it ideal for a night out or a special occasion. Reynolds delivers on every front: exceptional drinks, delicious bites, and an atmosphere that feels luxurious without being pretentious. Highly recommend for anyone looking to indulge in a truly refined experience.”
“Service was great and beyond exceptional. A place to try for special occasion for seafood. We had the grilled octopus and sardines for appetizers. Both are great options. We had the Connecticut version of lobster roll which came in hot. The catch of the day was a pan seared cod. It was good. The hit was the squid ink risotto. This place is great to celebrate special occasions but not for weekly or even monthly dining. Would be cost prohibitive.”
“Went here for the first time with my friends last night, everybody working made it a memorable experience! Isaiah makes the best drinks hands down and knows how to give top notch customer service. The owner was present at that time and he was kind enough to interact with us.”
“Welcome addition to the neighborhood. Super cozy and buzzy spaces (bar area especially can get a bit loud) with a great wine and spirits list and an interesting and innovative take on French cuisine. Maybe more of the classics are coming, but for now few dishes on the menu were anything we recognized as typical French bistro fare, but that departure was also refreshing. We’ll be back (if we can get a table… that wasn’t an easy thing to do for a Saturday night at 7 PM). Good for them!”
