“This place has delicious food, it’s clean and nice and inside, and the staff is friendly. Service can be a bit spotty once you have your food (waited a while for water), but they took our order quickly and the food came out perfect, and absolutely delicious! The menu is well-priced, given the portions and quality of the food. Highly recommend Moonga!”

“Most likely the best brewery on Oahu, especially if you are looking for hazy IPAs and pastry stouts - they absolutely nail those styles and when things work (which for majority of the stuff I tried from them - they do) they are absolutely on top of the game, and not just for Hawaii, but CONUS as well. Think Monkish, Green Cheek for IPAs and Angry Chair (but better, less clogging sweet), Moksa, or Bottle Logic or for the pastry stouts. They just need to put some of those stouts in barrels (Hanna Banana for example please!)
Anyway, also a lot of fruity stuff that's pretty good, sometimes you may get lucky and see an old school west coast IPA or even a nice pilsner.
Staff is amazing, I do not remember all the names, but Jhonny will surely take care of you!
They will sell you a crowler of anything on tap, or have cans to go. Prices aren't the lowest, but if you are into those styles, you will not be disappointed!”

“I have been going here since they opened up and Iong story short, I would recommend this as one of few seafood boils on the island that is consistent in all aspects.

Pricing for me is seemingly higher than other reviews but when I go here with my friends/family, we come hungry. I will say though, cost to quality is not worth it for certain items. My only specific “complaint” is their “fried baskets” are packed with your sides and barely any of the actual items you ordered.

Service has been consistent - of the many times I have dined in, which is probably 30 at this point, I have had one indecent server serving us, all the other times they have been so friendly and accommodating.

Busy or not, your orders are fulfilled in less than 30 minutes - quickest I have experienced was 15 minutes for 6 pounds and 2 orders of apps.

Alcohol is cheaper vs other restaurant . Definitely recommend their mixed Soju pitchers, alcohol ratio is respectable and also tasty, so if you have a group, just order one or two and share it.”

“Food is usually always good! we went there this past week and their pork belly was basically freezer burned so when you cook that it’s almost as tough as leather. Other than that, it was great food and the brisket is always good cut. Service was really good, they always there to check on you and take more orders. Interior could use more decor maybe?”

“I do love their food. BUT everything is so self service at this point. You have to scan QR code to check in/put your name on waitlist. They no longer provide tablet at table to order. They give you a receipt with a QR code to scan and then you can order from the web browser. The workers only take your drink order and clean up after you leave. Takes away from the dine-in experience.

Anyways, it’s nice to see they put some new things on their menu. Spicy ahi wonton was bigger than expected. I noticed a few things pass by that I will want to try next time. If it says spicy, believe them.

“Never had I imagined eating a hot dog with Kalua pig amd onion rings on it or anything else as I eat my hot dogs with only mustard and relish! Decide to give this place a try and must say the hot dog I ordered called "common kings" was very delicious! Definitely gonna go back for more! It isn't a regular bot dog bun that they use either, which make this hot dog so tasty and unique! The only warning is that it is a little messy due to the size, but totally worth the mess!”

“Went there earlier today and got the wafu steak with the sashimi, tempura(5pcs), and miso soup(included). And lemme tell you they have the most ono wafu steak. You could tell that steak was marinated. It was tender and juicy. You know when your order is ready when the whole restaurant smells like steak. I would definitely recommend trying the wafu steak. It feeds a family of 3 for 30 bucks.”

“1st time visiting from California and my husband's 1st time trying sushi (which took a long time to finally get him to try it). We just happened to find the new place traveling around the island. Evan was working and was exceptional, very friendly and helpful with making selections off the menu. We Loved the atmosphere, especially the Christian music playing. Very clean and a good vibe. We loved it so much we had to buy some t-shirts. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We'll definitely be returning.

We ordered combo B which was a large serving of ramen, we chose the Tonkotsu ramen ! With two other “mini” dishes. A chicken katsu on a bed of rice with delicious curry and a 4 piece freshly made gyoza (extremely filling). The finishing touch for everyone was their pineapple chicken katsu fried rice. Amazing!

The quality of the food combined with the generous hospitality made this experience memorable for us. We are eager to come back.”

Parking: Location is in the windward shopping center near foodland. Lots of free parking. The only negative is the parking stalls are very small. Seems every stall is designed for compact cars only.”

There’s a market next door that might have alcoholic beverages. There’s parking lot is a little cramped, so massive trucks would be hard to park in there.”

The menu has a ton of things on it and we only tried three things (crab rangoon, asparagus with shrimp, and honey orange chicken). I would definitely get the asparagus with shrimp again, it was so good!
The honey orange chicken lacked much of the orange flavor, but it was decent. We will come back for sure, probably with a bigger group to share lots of things.”

“Impressed by Pan's Kitchen yesterday! I ordered the fresh grilled ahi, and let me tell you, it was incredible. With the first bite you could tell just how fresh it was - perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Just a heads up, there might be small hard time understanding sometimes due to the owner's accent. But be patient, communication works out, and the food is absolutely worth it. Parking can be tricky - it's one of those places we only go to when we see a spot open. We got lucky yesterday with an empty space, but two trucks swooped in as soon as we pulled in! Despite the potential parking hassle, Pan's Kitchen is a hidden gem. Highly recommend it for the incredible ahi (and hopefully a parking spot)!”

“This L & L has really solid comfort food. I love their fries, this branch actually seasons them (unlike the other branches who won't even if you ask them to). Easy to call in your order to minimize your wait time. Lots to choose from to satisfy your pallette. Tonkatsu, BBQ chicken and seafood platter are awesome. My favorite is the Teriyaki beef sandwich, so tender and brilliantly marinated onolicious! Staff is helpful and attentive. A spacious dining area is available that although a bit dated, clean and comfortable.”

Vegetarian options: No vegan options, but three vegetarian options. Definitely has the fast food tendency to be a bit heavy on the oil, but still quite good.”

“Came here for a quick dinner on the way up north. Had their Machiko Chicken Curry Combo. The service was super fast, food came in less than 5 minutes. Portions were huge too, had 6 pieces of chicken with a big slab of chasiu on my ramen.

Taste wise, the ramen broth was kinda a mix of pork and dashi, clean taste but there’s just a miss of umami. Gyoza was just like any normal dumpling. The curry was on the sweet side compared to other places. The chicken was the best on plate as it stayed crispy the entire meal, and juicy too. Just wished it had more flavour like ginger or garlic to compliment the curry.”

“I go to Bull Kogi anytime I want a huge plate of meat jun. The cook to order so it does take a while to get your order. It's large enough to make three meals for this senior citizen. The one thing I don't like is the paper containers they use ... By the time I get home, the container is soaked with the juices from the bank Chan. Otherwise, it's "a deal"!”

“My daughter has a food allergy. We didn't realize that the food we ordered her had a sauce on top that she was allergic to, since we couldn't see it in the menu photo. We had to ask to have it remade. And, unfortunately, it was right as they were preparing to close for the day. The employees very kindly remade the meal. They took her allergy very seriously. It is obvious that they used care to make the new one and did not try to reuse the food from the previous order. We are so thankful for how kindly they treated us and how quickly they remade the meal. Thank you for fantastic service and keeping my daughter safe! We will definitely be coming back.
