“I love onigiri, so I was very excited to stumble upon Onigilly. I had visions of warm, freshly hand-formed onigiri—similar to what you might find at Omusubi Gonbei—but unfortunately, this wasn’t quite that experience.
The onigiri here is clearly more of a fast-casual, streamlined version. The rice is machine-formed and pre-pressed into triangles, with the filling sandwiched inside before being wrapped in seaweed. So if you’re looking for that rustic, handmade feel, this probably isn’t the place.
That said, it’s difficult to mess up an onigiri. The rice was room temp, slightly mushed but did not take away from the the fillings which were flavorful, and the seaweed still had a nice crunch rather than becoming soggy. It may not be the most gourmet or homemade-style onigiri, but it definitely satisfies the craving—and the convenience is a plus.
Overall, I’d come back when I’m craving onigiri and want something quick and easy, just with the right expectations going in.“

“A very enjoyable Japanese restaurant with a good selection of sushi and Japanese dishes. I especially appreciated the variety on the menu and the overall quality of the food. Everything felt fresh and well prepared, and there are plenty of options for both sushi lovers and people who prefer other Japanese dishes.
The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed, making it a nice choice for an easy lunch or dinner in Santa Clara. A solid place to keep in mind when you are looking for good Japanese food in the area. I would happily come back.“

“We tried the Super Spicy Miso Ramen and Tonkatsu Ramen through delivery.The packaging was very nicely done with the soup and other ingredients packed separately and no leaks.We put the ramen together with all the ingredients, it was delicious!! When ever we try ramen, we always judge the broth first because that's the most critical part of the ramen, and it was amazing!! The ramen was cooked to just the right degree of firmness, the pork belly, soft boiled egg, and beansprouts were very nicely prepared also.Kumo's ramen dishes more than passed our taste test. We plan to try their bento boxes next!“

“Mikaya is my favorite all-you-can-eat premium hot pot spot! They offer three tiers: Silver ($55), Gold ($78), and Diamond ($98), so there's something for everyone. The quality of the meat is unbelievable and absolutely worth every penny.
The broths are rich, flavorful, and delicious, and ordering from an iPad makes the whole experience easy and convenient. The customer service is consistently excellent, and the staff always make us feel welcome.
My family and love this place so much we come once every 2 months. Btw, They also offer memberships. If you're looking for high-quality hot pot with amazing service and premium ingredients, Mikaya is a must-try!
