“Food is so delicious and staff extremely helpful and attentive”
“We can only say positive things from the time we were greeted at the door until walking out smiling and fulfilled beyond our expectations. We have been lucky to eat at some very nice restaurants in the past...and we have been chasing that feeling of “first times” ever OH THAT'S GREAT since. Fine dining so often feels so similar and uninspired at a lofty price and hard to get reservation...but our experience at Senia was exquisite, both in presentation and in flavor. We feel spoiled! Thank you Chef and staff! AMAZING”
“Great service! Nick was really attentive to all the details to the meal as well as giving us recommendations on what to order and how everything was made!
Food is amazing and the tempura was delicious. The udon is on another level when combined with the sauce!”

“💯 10000000000% recommend if you are looking for a more educational and intimate luau…. We had a private luau for our school group, and they did a fantastic job of engaging the students (high school) while also sharing the culture of Hawai’i and other Polynesian Islands. Reno was also one of our tour guides for the rest of the week, and he was a blast. Everyone we met was gracious, kind, and friendly while also effortlessly meeting our every need.”
“From the warm greeting everyone receives when walking through the door to the attentive and super friendly service, this place is amazing! The sushi was outstanding… hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had! The texture, taste and presentation was top notch. Wish there was a location on the east coast!”
“My wife and I were invited by friends to a special fundraiser dinner at Bar Maze, and we really enjoyed the evening. The ambiance was warm and stylish, and the service throughout the night was genuinely thoughtful.
The menu offered a lot of food, with each dish bringing something fun to the table. The snacks were a great start—the smoked salmon dip disappeared quickly, the anago with smoked egg yolk was rich and addictive, and the chicken skin with chimichurri had that “I could snack on these all night” energy. The choke garlic balls with caviar and ranch were a surprising combo that worked far better than expected.
The ahi course was bright and refreshing, and the scallop with “Hawaii XO” and puffed rice was both comforting and elegant. The cheeseburger course was just pure fun, and Ethel’s grill taco rice had a nostalgic, homey vibe. “Textures of a crack seed shop” was playful and full of little surprises, and the chestnut tiramisu was a cozy, satisfying finish.
The spirit behind the event made the night even more meaningful, and we were grateful to be part of it. Bar Maze is easy to recommend, and we look forward to visiting again.”

“Sunny’s was an awesome find for breakfast. The servers are so nice and the food was awesome. I had the avocado toast - so good. Lots of variety and healthy meals. I would highly recommend this spot.”
“I love their vegetarian stir fry! I have to limit my sodium intake, and this dish gives me the flavor I need without a lot of salt.”
“I have visited the Haleiwa location multiple times and it just hits the spot for unique gelato flavors! I also highly recommend any of the crepes ... and of course, the Ube Mochi waffle!!! Staff friendly and attentive and the place is kept very clean. Definitely worth a stop if you need to pick up a pint of gelato for a family dinner too. ;)”
“Great sushi and presentation! Very subdued decor, but I liked it. One of the best sushi places I've been. If you're in Honolulu, definitely check out this spot!”
“This is the best place to go to when you want quality hot pot without breaking bank and also breaking stomach bc you ate too much at all you can eat. Really friendly service and I love the ambience.”
“Went with a couple girlfriends for restaurant week. The restaurant week special set was such a great value and the food was amazing! The service was excellent and our server was amazing, very attentive and even helped us cook one of the courses. I would definitely go again.”

“I was visiting Honolulu from Wisconsin, and this food truck ended up being one of the best surprises of the whole trip. I’ll be honest the walk to it looks a little sketchy at first since you head down this small alley, but don’t let that fool you. Once you get back there, it’s a whole different story. The customer service was awesome super friendly, super welcoming. And the food? Straight-up 10/10. The loaded barbecue fries were insane, packed with flavor and totally worth every bite. The burgers were just as amazing, juicy and cooked perfectly. Everything we tried was out of this world. If you’re in Honolulu, don’t sleep on this place. I’d come back in a heartbeat.”
“This matcha ice cream was super refreshing and well needed!! While waiting, my bf & I decided to take pictures in the red box Photo Booth that’s right along the wall. The combo of this matcha ice cream was perfect. They have so many different combos! Go give them a try!”
“Lam’s Kitchen is the real deal in Honolulu’s Chinatown. Authentic Cantonese style “comfort” food! I was turned on to this restaurant after I saw it featured in a Foodie YouTube channel.\n\nMy wife and I stopped in for lunch midweek. It was full so we had to wait about 15 minutes. There’s a “sign-in” sheet located at the entrance. After we were seated we ordered one Dry Beef Chow Fun and one Beef Flank Tendon Look Fun. Of course we had to share and both “hit the spot!” Good old school taste we enjoyed both dishes.\n\nIt was definitely “hole in the wall” looking from the outside…but somewhat inviting on the inside. We initially walked right past it LOL. The interior was clean and service was good. Brought back memories of the good old Cantonese style restaurants from any of the mainland Chinatowns back in the day.”
“The service is excellent, but the food is incredible! A place I’d totally recommend! The burger is simply perfect — juicy and cooked just right. My favorite: the pineapple burger 🤤. The chicken sandwich is wonderfully crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. This is definitely a place I’d come back to. Highly recommended!”
“We RAN to Waffle and Berry after the zoo. We showed up 15 minutes before closed and they were quick to calm us. As long as we ordered by 2 minutes before close, we would be served. And then they showed up with a snack plate for our toddler. He absolutely loved it!! We absolutely loved our dessert. Crispy, warm waffle. Sweet ice cream and berries. Unbelievably welcoming environment.”
“Outside table for one at lunch time. Korean barbecue chicken sandwich. Excellent, delicious and messie to eat. I would order again.”
“Greeted and seated right away without reservations. The staff from beginning to end were very friendly and helpful.
They have choices of booths and counter style seats. We sat in a booth. We found out they had a lunch special so that's what we ordered. Hamachi Teishoku set, hamachi jalapeño ponzu, Castella Tamago and Tempura Teishoku.
The food was good quality and delicious! They have stamp cards too so don't forget to stamp it before you leave!”

“Bar Leather Apron is easily one of Honolulu's most exceptional cocktail experiences—a place where precision, creativity, and genuine hospitality all come together seamlessly. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the care and craft behind every detail, and that feeling only deepens as the night goes on. The cocktails alone are worth planning an evening around. In the Soul is a standout—balanced, expressive, and layered in a way that unfolds sip after sip. The Japan is elegant and refined, a beautiful reflection of the bar's deep respect for Japanese technique. The Matcha is both comforting and complex, with its velvety texture and earthy aroma, while the Sagano Smoke adds a dramatic flair, weaving smokiness and subtle sweetness into something unforgettable. And if you prefer something more delicate, the Fruity & Floral is bright, aromatic, and wonderfully refreshing. But the surprises don't end with the drinks. The Brioche with pizza butter is an absolute revelation—warm, soft, and perfectly indulgent. It's the kind of bite that makes you stop mid-conversation just to appreciate how unexpectedly incredible something so simple can be. What elevates the entire experience, though, is the service. Scotty is phenomenal—attentive, personable, and clearly passionate about the craft. And co-owner Jason sets the tone with his expertise and warm, welcoming presence. Together, they create a space that feels refined yet relaxed, where every guest is treated with genuine care. Bar Leather Apron isn't just a bar—it's a world-class cocktail destination. Whether you're a dedicated spirits enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable night out in Honolulu, this is the place that will exceed every expectation. This is easily a must on my list for all future trips to Oahu.”
“Craaaaazy good omakase. It truly felt like we were back in Japan. This place is well off the beaten trail, seats 12, and is tucked away in a seemingly mostly empty shopping center. Don't be discouraged. The moment you open the door you're transported to a wonderful little sushi bar. Staff was extremely friendly. Omakase options come in $100, $150, and $300 offerings. We did $150 and were satiated, leaving full but not stuffed. The menu was interesting and unique, making dinner feel special.
I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough if you're looking for a unique experience - and want to get out of the touristy side of Waikiki.”

“This has been our go to brunch spot for the last several years. The food is amazing - the Oscar Benedict (crab/corned beef) is one of our favorites! The coffee w/cookies and especially having the milk/cream warmed is the perfect way to start the day. The peaceful atmosphere with its view of the blue ocean and Fort DeRussy park makes this a truly special place. Most of all, the staff is amazing… Summer, Feliciana, Chris, everyone! They have truly imbued the spirit of Aloha.”
“My husband and I went in on a whim. I didn't expect this little cafe to be the highlight of our week, but here we are! My favorite part, besides getting to pet several kittens at once of course, was the staff. We booked a 30 minute slot to start, and it quickly went by! The room volunteer was so helpful and kind. Every kitty we pet she told us all about their personality, habits, and history if available. You can truly tell they love the cats deeply and wish them the best. it's also so nice that they are so helpful when choosing a kitty that's right for you. personality is so important! Also, the drinks were fantastic! I got a mango matcha tea and was so happy with it. Perfectly sweet! Thank you again for giving us such a fun experience! You'll see us again for sure :)”
“This place is small but stylish and beautifully decorated, from the star of a bar design to each and every cozy nook throughout. Now home of the best craft cocktails on Oahu and complimented with well thought out, mouth watering bites. I went with a friend for the grand opening evening and I would never have guessed it was a grand opening. The staff was friendly, seemed very at ease the whole night and the bartender was knowledgeable about the menu. We tried 5 or so different small bites and a couple various cocktails each from the menu and EVERY SINGLE item was delicious and crafted so beautifully we almost didn't want to eat or drink them (almost! 😋) Well done, Podmore!!”

“We had an amazing Omakase experience here. The food is creative and each course different from the one before. Especially loved the lean tuna and the shrimp, but it's hard to choose favorites when everything was so good. The background music was great and the conversation with the chef and other patrons very lively and enjoyable. It's a gorgeous, modern room. We've been here on prior Honolulu vacations and I'm so glad we came again this time.”

“My husband was in search of some good fish in Waikiki. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. I’m not a seafood person so I got the chicken pasta and he tried snapper for the first time. Both of us were blown away by how tasty everything was. The portions were huge too! Out of all the places we had been to during our trip, this place is at the top. Even as a non fish eater, I loved it! There can be a wait, but it is well worth it. Try it, you’ll love it.”

“Right now it’s a nightmare finding everything cuz they decided to change the store around so once it’s done and you relearn the location of everything it will be perfect again but don’t be afraid to ask where things are. I did and every employee that helped was very helpful and polite. I would absolutely recommend Safeway.”
“I had about 30 minutes before my "Me time" appointment to get all girled up with lashes, pedicure and manicure. I figured I stop in and have some breakfast. The manager that serviced me was sweet. The environment was kicked back as I noticed families enjoying each other. I sat on a 4 seater. That's all they had. I invited Father God to sit with me... I got to talk with him. And ate my breakfast... cried inside of all things going on in my life. Changes etc. Towards the end, a girl asked if she could use 2 seats... I said yes. Turned around and it looked like time with her mom and dad... at least I had the chair in front of me... #godsseat... I miss my parents. They both alive. They just chose to not be in my life. Been so long. Thank you Jack in the Box for being available for me to sit, eat and talk with God. God bless your buisness ”
“Best deal in Waikiki.2 tacos for under $2 bucks. Taste great, same recipe since it's inception. Not sure if it's BEEF or some combination of filler & beef the main thing is the TASTE the seasoning is timeless. I dined on these same tacos back in the what? 90's . The quality & pricing has remained the same. Frankly it's the ONLY food product I eat at JNB.... mostly for nostalgia.”
“Superior classic burgers, great fries, friendly staff and wonderfully nostalgic setting. Highly recommend!!! 🙌🏼”
“My favorite panang curry on island! Attentive staff and fun atmosphere.”

“I really enjoyed coming to this bar for drinks I had a whiskey sour and it was perfectly balanced. The bartender that served me was very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately I did not eat the food since I had a full meal before although I've heard great things about how good it was. Next time I'm on island I will definitely try the food.”
“Amber- the co owner, is absolutely astounding. Super super friendly, and If you have any questions on any of the food she has the knowledge of it all! Location is perfect as there is a bunch of seating area around and always good jams playing in the background. The food taste AMAZING, I recommend trying the B.E.A.S.T DELICIOUS”
“What a fantastic little place!! It's a little out of the way and tucked into a small space, but don't miss it!
The space is fantastic and well designed. Lots of colors and very bright. I felt great just being in there!!
The staff was amazing (I think it was the person that owned it). She was super nice, and very helpful! She was excited about her product and it showed. She asked me where we were from and hand a nice quick chat.
They explained that all the syrups were made by them and were natural. There was lots of fresh fruit included. It was wonderful and not overly sweet.
Price was pretty typical for the higher end shaved ice, but a good size and well worth it in my opinion.
Check this place out, I think you'll be glad you did! Thanks for the tasty treats!”
“My +1 & I went here twice; once while walking to Diamond Head and the morning before we had to leave Oahu. It is an amazing place for malasadas and not expensive or fancily crafted. Just good food. The chocolate banana French toast was amazing. Any of the French toast would surely all be good. The chocolate filled malasada was great but I personally loved the cinnamon non filled one. Small quiet little place worth checking out.”

“My wife brought me here for my birthday. We got the sashimi plate (for 2). While delicious, it was not enough really for 2 people, so we got a salad, some butterfish and some extra toro. All were delicious, but we definitely had more room for desserts, which were tasty as well. In all, it was a good sushi experience and the restaurant deserves its good reputation.”
“Chef Ray makes the whole experience so much fun and definitely worth a visit. He’s very knowledgeable of all things sushi and omakase and makes a very intimate and small experience feel fun and not awkward at all. Be prepared to EAT! So much food and it’s all the most incredible sushi I’ve ever had.”
“I walked passing the center this morning what I found. They start putting up Christmas decorations in the beginning of October.. are you kidding me? It won’t help your sales if you looking for that goal. It would make many people though you are crazy. I am not sure the marketing or what so ever department does not knows well what exactly what is they doing. Instead of trying doing that you should focus on the coming event. Such as Early access sales campaigns it will be boosted traffic Not Christmas decorations in October.”
“We celebrated a big anniversary at Pai and WOW - they made it extra special. We did the four course menu with wine pairings. The service was top notch. The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. Pai is definitely a must-try restaurant. We will definitely be back.”
“I am foodie from Japan, enjoy once or twice a month hotel buffet in Tokyo. But Orchids Sunday branch menu was the best ever. Not only does it taste good, but it also tastes good, fine scenery, number and placement of staff and their diligence noteworthy.”
“Kimchi fry rice is amazing and the poke is fire, definitely on my list of top grinds.”
“Bianca, Katie and molding Clay were so great serving us tonight. Thank you so much for the fast service, the friendliness and overall creating a great experience for us!”

“finally visited Breadshop after hearing so many people rave about it, and truly exceeded all of my expectations! for our first time, we ordered the Brioche, Mango Cheesecake Brioche Tart, and Taegu Spinach Manchego Croissant. Everything tasted truly divine and the flavour profiles were also very unique and harmonious. The texture of the bread and the pastries were perfect and we will definitely be back soon to try other breads and pastries! There's a small parking lot with the first hour of parking free, as well as a few tables and chairs in the shade which were convenient. The online ordering process was smooth and easy, and an email notification was sent when my order was ready for pickup. Incredible experience all-round at Breadshop and this bakery will definitely be on my regular rotation 🥰😌🩷”
“Their sushi cake exceeded our expectations. It was so delicious and almost too pretty to eat! The 2 guys working when I picked up were awesome! Super friendly and one even took the time to show me the cake and gave tips on how to cut and eat it! Their customer service from ordering to pick up was exceptional!”
“The udon here is incredibly fresh and delicious — perfectly chewy and flavorful. The fried chicken is super crispy and juicy, definitely a must-try! The service is quick, and even though the line can get long, it moves fast. Great food, great value, and always satisfying! 🍜🍗✨”
“Visited Ohana Poke House for lunch and really enjoyed it!
I got the chicken teriyaki bowl since I'm pregnant. The flavors were comforting and the portion was huge. I was stuffed. Hubby got their ahi shoyu bowl and thoroughly enjoyed it. He said it was fresh and very well sauced.
This restaurant is located on the second floor, and there's a free parking lot out front. The staff was friendly, the vibes are very casual, and they really take their time to prepare each meal so you know it's fresh. Would recommend!”
“Such a hidden gem on Kapahulu Ave! I stopped by during a food tour (right near Ono Seafood and Leonard’s) and was so glad I did. I had the cold brew with coconut cold foam- the flavor profile was smooth, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. My friend was torn between the rose matcha and honey matcha, and the barista went above and beyond by mixing the rose and honey syrups (even though it wasn’t on the menu!) so she could enjoy the best of both worlds. The matcha itself was fantastic- vibrant, not too sweet, and really well balanced.
The baristas here were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the experience even better. Honestly, I’d recommend Better Daze over Sunrise Shack if you’re in the area!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5 Stars. This place has the best quality poke I’ve had! Spicy King Salmon, Spicy ahi with Uni! 🥢🥢🥢 We go here for all our poke and sashimi platters, we get spicy ahi, Hawaiian salt tako, and tobikko King Salmon. In love. They have two locations, one with indoor dining! Perfect for families as well.”
“This place deserves 5 stars. They've probably gotten over $100 from me from the past week. l've been coming in here everyday for breakfast and the highlight is the pork kakuni & egg. Think of a braised taiwanese braised pork and a marinated egg ontop. They even stuff the masubi center with more meat! The pork melts in your mouth and you cant just eat one. I order 3 a day!! Service was amazing and always greets upon entry. Ambiance is welcoming a small area where there are trays of masubis and Bento boxes. Highly recommend for this is the best masubi place on the island.”

“Food is ALWAYS delicious and the staff is so kind and attentive! Katsu-san creates the most beautiful sashimi platters and omakase sushi!”

“Yummy options, from local ahi poke to salmon and octopus. Good selection of toppings.. friendly staff.. in a prime location. Decent price for Waiki, more expensive than similar poke places in Manhattan so don't expect cheap. Regular, which is large portion is large.”
“Fantastic food, delicious drinks, and the most welcoming staff. Everything our group of 6 ordered was outstanding and we all said we couldn’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend!”
“Pizza bardzo smaczna, dosyć szybko dostaliśmy jedzenie, bardzo miła pani z obsługi cały czas pytała czy wszystko w porządku i dolewała za darmo wody z lodem”
“The food was very good, wife love the ice cream on her French toast.”

“so good!!!!! best lobster roll strongly recommended first time trying and i really like it”
“The fish was incredible, the hostess was awesome, and it was one of the best meal experiences of my life! Reserve a spot at their omakase and you will have the meal of your life!”
“This was definitely a different Pizza experience... their story is intriguing and hopefully this brand and cuisine comes to the remainder of the states especially Florida... I had their lime drink and it was amazing and their Pizza was delightful. 43 inc highly recommended. In Tampa Florida we have a network called The HUB and it's a place we recommend phenomenal experiences. This would be one.”
“Simple, shareable, strongly spiced food, reasonably priced but will make you want to drink. Cozy, maybe 10 tables total. Bonus points for being open late but that will mean rowdy tables. Party room next door overwhelms the ambiance with skull-numbing, throbbing bass. Limited parking.”
“Birthday dinner. Excellent service and great food. Ordered the Pau Hana dish for the two of us, along with a drink and wine. Service and the food was excellent. Was surprised that the server gave us a birthday cake on the house even though we ordered the specialty dessert pineapple upside down cake, which was the bomb. She, the waitress was very kind and catered to our needs. Thank you. We will be back again. Best service ever. Mahalo”
“Always a pleasure dining at Original Roy's, service, food and drinks are next level and the manager always takes time greeting guest and making sure we're all having a wonderful experience.”
“Amazing dinner and friendly staff from bar to dining room! Our must every time we visit Oahu!”
“The Tomahawk steak is outstanding. No need to ruin it with A1 sauce. The stuffed chicken breast was not dry, so tasty. Everything is ala carte but totally worth it. Would go again”
“Best sushi I have ever had in US. Some really premium fishes are included in the 200 dollar set, which is better than most of the 400 dollar+ omakase I had in SF. Strongly recommend this place.”

“We were fortunate to grab seats at the bar before a show at the Blaisdell. Beautiful atmosphere, very attentive server/bartender (Kalei), amazing food options and lovely hand mixed cocktails. We were pleasantly surprised and will return!”
“Definitely the Hawaiian Eggs Benedict with toast, the fried ice cream. the tarot pina colada, etc... you will not be disappointed with anything you order. Also, don't get me started with the service. Plz ask for Jessica. That girl deserves a raise or a promotion.”
“This place is small but stylish and beautifully decorated, from the star of a bar design to each and every cozy nook throughout. “First time here. Love this place. I will be back. The drinks are tasty. Staff are friendly and attentive. About 6 high top tables and bar seat. Reservations required. Also parking is available on the street or lots close by.”
“The service was good and the food was overall very good, but there are some issues. The smoked poke was really great. The Kanpachi however, while being well cooked, was drowning in a potent coconut curry sauce that just overwhelmed. Good tasting but just way too much sauce. The restaurant was very open but that didn't stop the noise level from being off the charts. We had to move as we were originally seated next to a table of 6 that sounded like a table of 20. Lastly, the temp was too cold and my wife had to get a blanket. Our new table was right under a blasting set of air ducts I guess.”
“Best garlic shrimp I’ve ever had! I’ve been to 15+ eateries ordering the same dish on the mainland and the Hawaiian islands. The guava fried chicken and Lilikoi Pie were epic too! ”
“Pizza was really good. Very thin crust. San Marzano tomatoes sauce, perfect. Fresh toppings, just the right amount. House pulled fresh mozzarella. Need to find a more authentic Ceasar dressing recipe. Our salad was bland. We will definitely go back.”
“It was just ok. Too many options to consider for an OK experience. I wouldn't NOT go back if someone suggested it, but I can't imagine ever suggesting it.”
“Amazing experience! Great food and even better service! It was our first time here and we just walked in. Even without a reservation, Randy and the rest of the Mikiya Team really went above and beyond in terms of customer service! It is all you can eat Shabu Shabu and there are different tiers. Higher tiers give you more options such as A5 wagyu and can even be unlimited depending on the tier. We got the silver tier and it came with American and Australian Wagyu. Don’t skip out on the fried mini bun, you will regret not getting it! We will definitely come back here again! If dining with a big group of people, make a reservation. Also, they validate parking. Just be sure to show the host at the front, and do not end your parking time or else you will not be able to validate it.”
“There's not enough space to right the good things about this place. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted and acknowledged by everyone, including the sushi chefs. Water and drink order is perfectly timed. Whether you order teishoku complete meals or sushi, the flavor and and portions are spot on. If you choose to sit at the sushi counter, the spread is just amazing. From white fish, tuna, to shellfish and sometimes even a fruit or plant to cleanse the pallet. I would recommend reservations as this place is always busy. Takeout is also very good!”
“We loved both the food and the wine and the service. The place is gorgeous too. We had a wonderful time.”
“The best sushi and rolls I have tried in a long time! Quality of food is amazing, really tasty and portions are huge. The place is cozy, stylish and atmospheric. Staff is super friendly and sweet.”
“Authentic Japanese food! It was great to be able to have it while vacationing in Hawaii. Brought back so many memories of living in Japan!”
“I love this spot! Live music daily. Great service, especially the bartenders! Everyone was happy and seemed like they loved working there. I went there almost daily due to how friendly the bartenders were! Highly recommended! Great food and drinks as well!”
“The staff are very friendly. Our waitress Dede was excellent. The sunset view is breathtaking. If you are in Waikiki stop by this bar and grill you will not be disappointed.”
“Since, I first tried Indian Food I fell in love with it awesome dishes Taste of unquine Dishes. All Vegetarian dishes and non vegetarian like Lamb, chicken and fish. People are so kind and welcome 🙏.”
“Everything we ordered (we forgot to take some photos) tasted very good.
Fried chicken was very popular among us and others at the restaurant. It ran out early. Nevertheless there are other fried food such as squid legs we enjoyed.
Friendly service staffs. Lively atmosphere, you do have to speak loud to hear each other type of a place.
Since it was weeknight, plenty parking space at the paid parking lot. We all enjoyed the evening at this restaurant.”
“I am foodie from Japan, enjoy once or twice a month hotel buffet in Tokyo. But Orchids Sunday branch menu was the best ever. Not only does it taste good, but it also tastes good, fine scenery, number and placement of staff and their diligence noteworthy.”
“Took the family (party of 6) to the Waikiki location last night (12/23/23)... ABSOLUTELY stellar...!!! It was very busy... and this location is a little tight on space... But, everyone and everything functioned like a well oiled machine...!!! And, as always - with any Ruth's Chris... the food and service were World Class...!!!”
“This place is pricey but is SO WORTH IT. I want to thank Chris, Mikey, Amanda, I believe Hayden (bartender) and all the other staff who made every visit just as good as the next. I loved showing this place off and everytime it was a grand slam hat trick. I am sad I likely won't be back as I moved off island but the food is amazing and the staff knows the menu inside and out. My only regret is that I didn't stop in sooner.
Thank you guys for the conversations, the food and the memories. Glad I got to so my going away here.”
“Super delicious rice noodles with the juiciest, most flavorful lemongrass chicken. Just such a delight to eat crispy veggies and herbs on a hot day here. The owner was so sweet too and chatted with us. This spot has been around for ~20+ years, too!”
“The walk up to the bar itself is beautiful and a must do at least once, staff is always friendly and food is beyond delicious. I definitely recommend to try the Blue Crab roll or if not a big crab fan, or looking to try a few things at once the 4 ROLL SET the bar recommends is a GREAT place to start!”
“Just the best food, staff. Always happy. Always tasty dishes. Their wine dinners are fun. Salmon’s always perfect. A gnocchi & beef dish was especially tasty.”
“Amazing grounds, beautiful hotel and the Luau they hosted was beautiful.
The food was exceptional, and the beach side bar they offer was amazing, as they had some extremely talented late night music available.
Overall a great experience for military members and vets to enjoy.”
“So welcoming ❤️ simple dinner or a drink at night next to the beach, priceless”
“Excellent food & great service. Obviously a huge selection of beers. We actually chose it for having good vegetarian burger options. Good atmosphere, it was a bit loud.”
“Had an absolutely amazing time at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the quality was top notch. The owners were super kind and the service was amazing. We will definitely be visiting again! Don’t be shy to try everything. My family and I ordered a lot of food and loved every single thing. Thank you Yakiniku!”
“Absolutely delicious little place inside a hotel lobby. A menu that meets so many cravings we were there specifically for the Poke. They had so many options we decided to do a Poke Flight with a side of Wonton Chips and a side at Salad Greens. That paired with an Okonomiyaki Fries and we were stuffed. They also have a good cocktail menu. The Redfish Old Fashioned was a bit light on the whiskey but very tasty. 2 drinks, an appetizer, 4 types of poke with 2 sides was less than $100 and we were full. We will be going back to try the fried rice, loco moco, and steak which all looked (and smelled) good at other tables.”

“Great Food with a European influence of France and Spain. Cozy atmosphere and the Chef ZZ is very talented with many years of experience. It’s a little hidden gem and has elevator parking for your car in the back of the building or you can park in the Walmart lot. I very much recommend this place.”
“OMG! The Hauoli Pastry Poi Mochisada is DA BOMB! Light & airy, slightly crispy outside. If I had known it was going to be this good, I would have bought 2 dozen. If you only buying for yourself, MAYBE 6 is enough, but I'm a big boy so a dozen would have been perfect for me. We discovered them at the Night Market at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club and I'm so glad we did. If I ever see them elsewhere, I'm definitely buying again. Otherwise, I will have to wait for the next Night Market, but I won't make the same mistake as tonight, so gonna leave with 2 dozen!”
“We visited Aina Steak and Seafood over the Christmas holidays and were a little bit late for our reservations. Luckily, the friendly staff still saved a table for us by the open kitchen. The kitchen and the entire restaurant, including the bathrooms, were very clean. The restaurant had a different vibe from other steakhouses on the island which was very refreshing. The friendly waitress took our drink orders and gave us an overview of some of the recommendations and specials. Our waitress was very attentive and always had a smile on her face. She checked on us multiple times throughout our dining experience. We ordered: Appetizer: Oyster platter, salad (came with the steak) Sides: Truffle mashed potatoes, mushroom medley Entrees: Prime ribeye, lamb rack Dessert: Creme brulee, cheesecake The apps were fresh and delicious. The protein entrees came with these special salts and wasabi on the side. It complimented the meat well. The ribeye was just mediocre but the lamb was some of the best I have ever tasted on this island. The sides were portioned well and very tasty. Desserts was just what you would expect to end the meal with. Overall the food was very good. Now this is where the night was sort of ruined. As we were seated near the kitchen, we could overhear the cook/manager/owner(?) berating his service staff very loudly and in earshot of us customers. We were not eavesdropping, but he was so loud that we could see that this was legitimate borderline verbal abuse. I felt sorry for the female staffers that had to endure his unprofessional outbursts in the workplace. I say this as someone who has worked in every position of the restaurant field. As a manager, I have never yelled at any of my staff ever, because you as the leader must show leadership. How do you expect to manage or control your environment when you cannot control your own temper? As a waiter, I would never tolerate an authoritarian manager. I would quit right on the spot. As HR, you might have a lawsuit on your hands if you were to abuse your workers. I loved the food, but I would only come back again if another cook or manager was working instead of this man. I cannot support a business that mistreats its workers, no matter how good the food is.”
“I and a couple of other retirees discovered Pur Sina when they opened and have been weekly customers ever since. Their small kitchen limits the menu choices, but what they offer is tasty and reasonably priced. The pleasant customer-oriented staff has made it serve as a home away from home for us, and we have always felt welcomed. If/when they leave, they will be sorely missed.”

“We celebrated my 70th birthday and this was a perfect location. Food was perfectly cooked and oh so tasty! Wonderful service as well. The view of Diamond Head was the perfect setting.”
“We ate at Hula tonight for the first time and Levin took care of us! He went above and beyond and made the experience for myself, my mom and daughter absolutely wonderful. His suggestions for entrees were on point and his customer service was the best we had since arriving on the island! Thank you so much!”
“This spot is always on our must-visit list—and this time we had the pleasure of being helped by Brian and Dean. I ordered a steak, which isn't normally my go-to, but I'm so glad I did. It was huge, cooked perfectly medium, and so delicious that we took the rest back to the hotel and enjoyed it for breakfast. My husband got his usual crab appetizer—just one this time! They even remembered us from before, probably because he's the only person who orders two for himself. He talks about that appetizer from the moment we start planning our trip to Waikīkī. He also had the tenderloin, which was cooked exactly the way he likes it. I tried their steak sauce for the first time and loved it. It's made fresh, and if they bottled it, I'd buy it for our “Steak Sundays”! Dessert is always outstanding, with a great selection—and the cream they add is unbelievably good. Everyone there is so friendly; it feels like every staff member makes a point to say hello and goodbye, which we really appreciate. We can't wait to come back, and we hope we get to see Dean and Brian again!”
“Our dining experience at Morimoto Asia in Waikiki, Hawaii was exceptional! The appetizers like ribs and pork gyoza were fantastic, and the dinner choices, including fried rice, orange chicken, and the Miyazaki Wagyu certified grade 5 beef, were simply out of this world. To top it off, we enjoyed a birthday celebration with delicious doughnuts and ice cream with a beautiful chocolate decorative piece. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience! Plus: the service was amazing!”
“I have never had a bad experience at any of the Roy's locations, and true to form, they did not disappoint on this occasion. The food was fresh and the flavors innovative and delicious. The table service was impeccable. My husband is very hard to impress and he said it was perhaps the best seafood he has ever eaten.”
“First of all, this is not our first visit here for me and my husband. But this time we had our 2 kids with us. We walked in on a Father’s Day weekend on a Saturday, expecting no tables for a family of 4. They were able to sit us by the bar. And it was amazing, the food is great we had the MEGAHAWK, oysters, thick-cut bacon, keiki steak plate and very refreshing watermelon sorbet. Willian and Brian were friendly and superb with their service. As always we will be back again soon. THE STEAK IS NOT A MISTAKE ON THIS ONE!!! 👍🏼💯✅- R.C.”

“If your in Hawaii in Oahu and looking for phenomenal coffee and ambiance Drip Studio is the place for pour over and espresso drinks. Food looks amazing as well. Kengi & Maddy are amazing they treated us with great hospitality and we enjoyed chatting with them about all the different coffees.”
“I received the Go Miso Ramen on Tuesday. The ramen broth was rich, but didn’t have much depth in taste. I wasn’t sure what the black stuff on top was, but it appeared to be bamboo. The star of this dish was the taste of the ground pork. It tasted similar to wonton ground pork. The egg was slightly under my desired consistency. Overall, this ramen is a good, solid dish even if it’s not what I’d desire to eat on a typical basis for ramen.”
“We tried the Tres Leches and the Dubai Chocolate Brownie cookies. The Tres Leches was just okay to be honest. My friends hyped it up as one of the best, but I found the cake a bit dry, most of the moisture seemed to come from the leches it was soaked in, and the cake itself was a little crumbly.
The Dubai Chocolate Brownie, on the other hand, was amazing! Definitely one of my favorites from Crumbl so far. The flavor was rich and chocolatey, though extremely sweet. I could only finish it over about four sittings if eating it by myself. Still, the taste was great. I just wish it was a tad less sweet.
The staff were really nice and welcoming when we came in and kind when they brought our order out. Overall, a good experience with one hit and one miss.”
“Took a minute to find this place on the 2nd floor in back of the Japanese store. Wife and I both got ramens and were satisfied but not overly impressed. Broth tasted manufactured rather than store-made. I’d eat here again if I was around and hungry, but would go there again specially to eat the ramen.”
“Good experience. On a hot day, gelato is always a good choice.
Service was friendly and patient. Was able to try many flavors before selecting and ordering.
Portions were surprisingly larger than anticipated in comparison to other ice cream and gelatos shops in honolulu. Even the small had quite a bit of gelato in it and we could have gotten one scoop of two different flavors. Instead I just ordered the strawberry yogurt but it was good so no regrets. They also give you a small wafer with each item purchased, which was cool.
Definitely be back. Enjoyed it very much.”
“Tucked away (really tucked away we had to call the restaurant and a waitress came out to wave us over from the parking lot) and small, Threadfin was absolutely delicious. We shared the bread and a salad to start, nothing fancy, but great flavors, high quality ingredients. My jindori chicken over risotto was excellent, my husband's crab curry noodles were insanely good. A quick uber from the Waikiki hotels, totally worth seeking out.”
“Stopped here early in the morning after arriving in Honolulu.
Very friendly , pleasant staff
Nice selection of pastries.
Kinda cafeteria style... Grab what you want from displays and bring to check out.
Patisseries are good, really liked the pastel de natas !
Only seating is outside .
Nearby parking structure available.
Yum!”
“This review is long overdue for my first visit to Paris in Kakaʻako. It’s such a cute restaurant with an intimate, cozy atmosphere — the kind of place that immediately makes you feel like you’ve discovered a small secret.
Service was truly top-notch. The staff were warm, attentive, and made the entire experience feel effortless.
And the food… absolutely stunning. This is the kind of cuisine you savor with both your eyes and your tastebuds. Every dish was beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared, with flavors that were elegant yet comforting.
For a first visit, Paris definitely left an impression — and I’m already looking forward to coming back.”
“I treated myself on my birthday and bought their ulu banana bread and a lemon poppyseed bread that came with a blueberry compote. Everything was absolutely delicious, nicely packaged and the woman (Maile?) who helped me was very pleasant. The baked goods are pricey and I doubt I would spend that much money every week, but they use quality ingredients that are themselves expensive. I highly recommend trying the products from this bakery.”
“Came here today and never knew there was good huli huli chicken just a 5 min drive from me! The aunties were very nice. Aunty at the register took the time to tell us what kine ribs they use and how the huli huli chicken plate differs from the chicken pieces.
We got the huli huli chicken plate and the meat was soft and juicy, good spice. Def coming here more often 👏”
