“Very cozy restaurant with an active live view of the kitchen. The drink presentation was splendid and delicious. The food was appropriately portioned and so rich in flavor.”
“The food, wine, service, and atmosphere are amazing. I dine here every 2 months and I am always very impressed. Thank you for your continued excellence!”

“Great service! Nick was really attentive to all the details to the meal as well as giving us recommendations on what to order and how everything was made!
Food is amazing and the tempura was delicious. The udon is on another level when combined with the sauce!”
“This is the best place to go to when you want quality hot pot without breaking bank and also breaking stomach bc you ate too much at all you can eat. Really friendly service and I love the ambience.”

“Sunny’s was an awesome find for breakfast. The servers are so nice and the food was awesome. I had the avocado toast - so good. Lots of variety and healthy meals. I would highly recommend this spot.”
“Holy cow! This was a highlight of my trip to Honolulu. The cesar salad was incredible!! The cannoli was amazing, the pizza was so tasty, and they had a great wine/drinks selection. If I lived in Oahu this would be my go to date night stop.”
“I have visited the Haleiwa location multiple times and it just hits the spot for unique gelato flavors! I also highly recommend any of the crepes ... and of course, the Ube Mochi waffle!!! Staff friendly and attentive and the place is kept very clean. Definitely worth a stop if you need to pick up a pint of gelato for a family dinner too. ;)”
“I love their vegetarian stir fry! I have to limit my sodium intake, and this dish gives me the flavor I need without a lot of salt.”
“From the warm greeting everyone receives when walking through the door to the attentive and super friendly service, this place is amazing! The sushi was outstanding… hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had! The texture, taste and presentation was top notch. Wish there was a location on the east coast!”

“This matcha ice cream was super refreshing and well needed!! While waiting, my bf & I decided to take pictures in the red box Photo Booth that’s right along the wall. The combo of this matcha ice cream was perfect. They have so many different combos! Go give them a try!”
“We RAN to Waffle and Berry after the zoo. We showed up 15 minutes before closed and they were quick to calm us. As long as we ordered by 2 minutes before close, we would be served. And then they showed up with a snack plate for our toddler. He absolutely loved it!! We absolutely loved our dessert. Crispy, warm waffle. Sweet ice cream and berries. Unbelievably welcoming environment.”
“TLDR: Melissa is AWESOME! But, if you are gluten free (ie no soy sauce with wheat) or allergic to mushrooms, you can’t eat here.
My husband and I combined have those allergies and Melissa was very kind to ask the chef if we could be accommodated. Unfortunately it wasn’t possible. Melissa was so respectful of how she informed us - aaaaaaand then offered us a complimentary cocktail (which was on point) and a reservation down the road at a nice restaurant that she knew could accommodate our allergies!
I don’t envy her for effectively having to kick us out, but she (and the entire staff) were so gracious to us. Thank you Melissa!”
“The service is excellent, but the food is incredible! A place I’d totally recommend! The burger is simply perfect — juicy and cooked just right. My favorite: the pineapple burger 🤤. The chicken sandwich is wonderfully crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. This is definitely a place I’d come back to. Highly recommended!”
“Wow! Our bartender was so knowledgeable and helpful. He increased our enjoyment of the outstanding and delicious cocktails, which was quite a feat. We shared the salmon spread and sliced baguette, which was totally excellent. The quiet room and gorgeous monkeypod wooden bar help make the evening in Bar Leather Apron a memorable experience. This is a welcoming, comfortable and extremely competent establishment.”

“Great sushi and presentation! Very subdued decor, but I liked it. One of the best sushi places I've been. If you're in Honolulu, definitely check out this spot!”

“We had an amazing Omakase experience here. The food is creative and each course different from the one before. Especially loved the lean tuna and the shrimp, but it's hard to choose favorites when everything was so good. The background music was great and the conversation with the chef and other patrons very lively and enjoyable. It's a gorgeous, modern room. We've been here on prior Honolulu vacations and I'm so glad we came again this time.”
“My husband and I went in on a whim. I didn't expect this little cafe to be the highlight of our week, but here we are! My favorite part, besides getting to pet several kittens at once of course, was the staff. We booked a 30 minute slot to start, and it quickly went by! The room volunteer was so helpful and kind. Every kitty we pet she told us all about their personality, habits, and history if available. You can truly tell they love the cats deeply and wish them the best. it's also so nice that they are so helpful when choosing a kitty that's right for you. personality is so important! Also, the drinks were fantastic! I got a mango matcha tea and was so happy with it. Perfectly sweet! Thank you again for giving us such a fun experience! You'll see us again for sure :)”
“This was definitely a different Pizza experience... their story is intriguing and hopefully this brand and cuisine comes to the remainder of the states especially Florida... I had their lime drink and it was amazing and their Pizza was delightful. 43 inc highly recommended. In Tampa Florida we have a network called The HUB and it's a place we recommend phenomenal experiences. This would be one.”
“My husband was in search of some good fish in Waikiki. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. I’m not a seafood person so I got the chicken pasta and he tried snapper for the first time. Both of us were blown away by how tasty everything was. The portions were huge too! Out of all the places we had been to during our trip, this place is at the top. Even as a non fish eater, I loved it! There can be a wait, but it is well worth it. Try it, you’ll love it.”

“Right now it’s a nightmare finding everything cuz they decided to change the store around so once it’s done and you relearn the location of everything it will be perfect again but don’t be afraid to ask where things are. I did and every employee that helped was very helpful and polite. I would absolutely recommend Safeway.”
“I had about 30 minutes before my "Me time" appointment to get all girled up with lashes, pedicure and manicure. I figured I stop in and have some breakfast. The manager that serviced me was sweet. The environment was kicked back as I noticed families enjoying each other. I sat on a 4 seater. That's all they had. I invited Father God to sit with me... I got to talk with him. And ate my breakfast... cried inside of all things going on in my life. Changes etc. Towards the end, a girl asked if she could use 2 seats... I said yes. Turned around and it looked like time with her mom and dad... at least I had the chair in front of me... #godsseat... I miss my parents. They both alive. They just chose to not be in my life. Been so long. Thank you Jack in the Box for being available for me to sit, eat and talk with God. God bless your buisness ”
“Best deal in Waikiki.2 tacos for under $2 bucks. Taste great, same recipe since it's inception. Not sure if it's BEEF or some combination of filler & beef the main thing is the TASTE the seasoning is timeless. I dined on these same tacos back in the what? 90's . The quality & pricing has remained the same. Frankly it's the ONLY food product I eat at JNB.... mostly for nostalgia.”
“This is one of the world’s great restaurant. The food is amazing, the ambience is incredible and the wait staff is one of the most knowledgeable I have seen. The guest is treated like royalty. I highly recommend this restaurant”
“The best High Tea we've had, including The Fairmont in a few key cities. Excellent!!”

Takeout Restaurants
“What a fantastic little place!! It's a little out of the way and tucked into a small space, but don't miss it!
The space is fantastic and well designed. Lots of colors and very bright. I felt great just being in there!!
The staff was amazing (I think it was the person that owned it). She was super nice, and very helpful! She was excited about her product and it showed. She asked me where we were from and hand a nice quick chat.
They explained that all the syrups were made by them and were natural. There was lots of fresh fruit included. It was wonderful and not overly sweet.
Price was pretty typical for the higher end shaved ice, but a good size and well worth it in my opinion.
Check this place out, I think you'll be glad you did! Thanks for the tasty treats!”

The sushi was outstanding… hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had! The texture, taste and presentation was top notch. Wish there was a location on the east coast!”
“Thoroughly enjoyed the experience here. Staff was wonderful, all food was vegan, and they even had some free vegan books when I was there😄 Diverse menu with plenty of different options, and overall really enjoyed everything I tried! Updated from previous review on 2025-08-24”
“The udon here is incredibly fresh and delicious — perfectly chewy and flavorful. The fried chicken is super crispy and juicy, definitely a must-try! The service is quick, and even though the line can get long, it moves fast. Great food, great value, and always satisfying! 🍜🍗✨”
“The food was very good, wife love the ice cream on her French toast.”
“Kimchi fry rice is amazing and the poke is fire, definitely on my list of top grinds.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Amber- the co owner, is absolutely astounding. Super super friendly, and If you have any questions on any of the food she has the knowledge of it all! Location is perfect as there is a bunch of seating area around and always good jams playing in the background. The food taste AMAZING, I recommend trying the B.E.A.S.T DELICIOUS”

“This place deserves 5 stars. They've probably gotten over $100 from me from the past week. l've been coming in here everyday for breakfast and the highlight is the pork kakuni & egg. Think of a braised taiwanese braised pork and a marinated egg ontop. They even stuff the masubi center with more meat! The pork melts in your mouth and you cant just eat one. I order 3 a day!! Service was amazing and always greets upon entry. Ambiance is welcoming a small area where there are trays of masubis and Bento boxes. Highly recommend for this is the best masubi place on the island.”
“Visited Ohana Poke House for lunch and really enjoyed it!
I got the chicken teriyaki bowl since I'm pregnant. The flavors were comforting and the portion was huge. I was stuffed. Hubby got their ahi shoyu bowl and thoroughly enjoyed it. He said it was fresh and very well sauced.
This restaurant is located on the second floor, and there's a free parking lot out front. The staff was friendly, the vibes are very casual, and they really take their time to prepare each meal so you know it's fresh. Would recommend!”
“Greeted and seated right away without reservations. The staff from beginning to end were very friendly and helpful.
They have choices of booths and counter style seats. We sat in a booth. We found out they had a lunch special so that's what we ordered. Hamachi Teishoku set, hamachi jalapeño ponzu, Castella Tamago and Tempura Teishoku.
The food was good quality and delicious! They have stamp cards too so don't forget to stamp it before you leave!”
“Yummy options, from local ahi poke to salmon and octopus. Good selection of toppings.. friendly staff.. in a prime location. Decent price for Waiki, more expensive than similar poke places in Manhattan so don't expect cheap. Regular, which is large portion is large.”
“From food to service this place knocked it out of the park! Coming from NYC and been to Japan twice I think this is one of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve ever had.
Seasoning for each dish was just right. The chef kindly gave me three pieces of dried stingray fin to try. Don’t be fooled by the name. I was surprised by how well seasoned and cooked it was. Moist yet crispy and sweet. It was so good that I ordered a whole plate.
Service wise, I dined solo at the counter. Chef and waiting staff were all super attentive but also gave me space to enjoy the food. During our conversation, I casually mentioned how good the mangos in Hawai’i were. The waitress kindly asked the pastry chef to add a few pieces of mango to my dessert. It was such a pleasant surprise!
Last but not least, they allow half sizes to some of the dishes. It was a huge positive cause it allowed me to try more dishes!”
“The food & presentation for the omakase dinner were amazing as was the staff & service! All the ingredients are super fresh and some items like sauces & toppings were also homemade or homegrown. It is more of a fusion cuisine with a mixture of many different items in each dish, but they all complement each other extremely well, and the individual flavors burst in your mouth with a wonderful umami! The clam soup and dessert end the dinner perfectly as both are very light and refreshing and alleviate the feeling of fullness after the meal. The chef clearly follows Japanese tradition of taking extreme pride in your product and continuously striving for excellence and improvement!! A most memorable experience!”

“I walked passing the center this morning what I found. They start putting up Christmas decorations in the beginning of October.. are you kidding me? It won’t help your sales if you looking for that goal. It would make many people though you are crazy. I am not sure the marketing or what so ever department does not knows well what exactly what is they doing. Instead of trying doing that you should focus on the coming event. Such as Early access sales campaigns it will be boosted traffic Not Christmas decorations in October.”
“Forget just dinner this was an unforgettable journey. The wow factor began instantly, turning the corner from the elevator to that view, perfectly framed from our table. Flawless food, impeccable service, great music, and a truly unique dessert followed. The heartfelt goodbye from our waitress capped it off perfectly. We loved every second”
“We celebrated a big anniversary at Pai and WOW - they made it extra special. We did the four course menu with wine pairings. The service was top notch. The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. Pai is definitely a must-try restaurant. We will definitely be back.”
“I am foodie from Japan, enjoy once or twice a month hotel buffet in Tokyo. But Orchids Sunday branch menu was the best ever. Not only does it taste good, but it also tastes good, fine scenery, number and placement of staff and their diligence noteworthy.”
“Took the family (party of 6) to the Waikiki location last night (12/23/23)... ABSOLUTELY stellar...!!! It was very busy... and this location is a little tight on space... But, everyone and everything functioned like a well oiled machine...!!! And, as always - with any Ruth's Chris... the food and service were World Class...!!!”

“Authentic Japanese food! It was great to be able to have it while vacationing in Hawaii. Brought back so many memories of living in Japan!”

“I came to Hawaii and had a lot of food. This was the only thing I’m reviewing so far because it was delicious and the price was awesome and the people were so nice. The drinks here may have been better priced than even where I’m from in Ohio. Highly recommend the brown sugar milk tea, and the strawberry sago. AND they’re open late, perfect for drinks after the beach”
“I've been meaning to go here for months, and a rainy Sunday afternoon proved to be the perfect moment to stop by with some friends. The interior, though small, is so charmingly decorated with such care and delightful details. Although known more for their bottled beverages, I opted for- and thoroughly enjoyed- a freshly made drink. The blueberry matcha was delicious, and is probably one of my top three matchas on island now! At first I wondered if I'd misordered because there was no visible blueberry-ness, but the first sip proved me wrong. The blueberry flavor was very present but still paired beautifully with matcha and oat milk, and the blueberry scented cold foam on top was wizardry. Overall, it was a nice sweet treat, while being not-too-sweet! My companion also got their yuzu chocolate oat coffee drink, and while that seemed like an ambitious combination, let me tell you... they pulled it off! The flavor notes come in waves and it was refreshingly unique and well balanced. The staff are all so friendly, fashionable, and chill. Also enjoyed their ube swirl bread to share. Also, LOVE that they are open later til 6pm, which is so rare for cafes here! Will be coming back to sample lots more and also check out their covered patio next time :)”
“Good food. Delicious breakfast sandwich.”
“finally visited Breadshop after hearing so many people rave about it, and truly exceeded all of my expectations! for our first time, we ordered the Brioche, Mango Cheesecake Brioche Tart, and Taegu Spinach Manchego Croissant. Everything tasted truly divine and the flavour profiles were also very unique and harmonious. The texture of the bread and the pastries were perfect and we will definitely be back soon to try other breads and pastries! There's a small parking lot with the first hour of parking free, as well as a few tables and chairs in the shade which were convenient. The online ordering process was smooth and easy, and an email notification was sent when my order was ready for pickup. Incredible experience all-round at Breadshop and this bakery will definitely be on my regular rotation 🥰😌🩷”

“Amazing food and atmosphere every time. I highly recommend this restaurant”
“Host. On Point. Server. Beyong On Point. Food. Delicious. All in All - I'm impressed with the service and taste. Pricey but so worth every bit. Server - knows the menu by heart. Speaks of each item w/much knowledge.”

“Caesar salad is not a caesar salad, more like a tossed green salad, should not call it a caesar salad. The Frying Dragon Roll was excellent! Misoyaki Butterfish amazing! Restaurant needs an update, looks tired. Friendly staff, loved the Chefs greeting customers upstairs.”
“Amazing experience! Great food and even better service! It was our first time here and we just walked in. Even without a reservation, Randy and the rest of the Mikiya Team really went above and beyond in terms of customer service! It is all you can eat Shabu Shabu and there are different tiers. Higher tiers give you more options such as A5 wagyu and can even be unlimited depending on the tier. We got the silver tier and it came with American and Australian Wagyu. Don’t skip out on the fried mini bun, you will regret not getting it! We will definitely come back here again! If dining with a big group of people, make a reservation. Also, they validate parking. Just be sure to show the host at the front, and do not end your parking time or else you will not be able to validate it.”
“The best sushi and rolls I have tried in a long time! Quality of food is amazing, really tasty and portions are huge. The place is cozy, stylish and atmospheric. Staff is super friendly and sweet.”
“Food is ALWAYS delicious and the staff is so kind and attentive! Katsu-san creates the most beautiful sashimi platters and omakase sushi!”
“The Tomahawk steak is outstanding. No need to ruin it with A1 sauce. The stuffed chicken breast was not dry, so tasty. Everything is ala carte but totally worth it. Would go again”
“Amazing dinner and friendly staff from bar to dining room! Our must every time we visit Oahu!”
“Best sushi I have ever had in US. Some really premium fishes are included in the 200 dollar set, which is better than most of the 400 dollar+ omakase I had in SF. Strongly recommend this place.”
“We were fortunate to grab seats at the bar before a show at the Blaisdell. Beautiful atmosphere, very attentive server/bartender (Kalei), amazing food options and lovely hand mixed cocktails. We were pleasantly surprised and will return!”
“Best garlic shrimp I’ve ever had! I’ve been to 15+ eateries ordering the same dish on the mainland and the Hawaiian islands. The guava fried chicken and Lilikoi Pie were epic too! ”

“Simple, shareable, strongly spiced food, reasonably priced but will make you want to drink. Cozy, maybe 10 tables total. Bonus points for being open late but that will mean rowdy tables. Party room next door overwhelms the ambiance with skull-numbing, throbbing bass. Limited parking.”
“About the Rating Stars (optional) - suggest a switch to Mandatory! Comments Illustrate as Advertised. Mr. Dolan has another location opposite Kahala Mall. One can pre-populate the Survey. Yep, (Better Be) too busy Dining-n-Enjoying themselves!”
“so good!!!!! best lobster roll strongly recommended first time trying and i really like it”
“Fabulous Food and wonderful staff !! Wine list is also terrific!!”
“We are visiting Hawaii from Washington DC for fun after retired 6 yrs ago with 6-8 of us pre much all of the world. Every place we go at least every three days we like to eat korean food that why we went Korea Garden .. one of the best Korean food even better than LA or east coast. I am very strongly recommend when you visit to Hawaii,,,Before we leave today we are facing to there now on the way to cruise pier 2 , 주인께서 직접 써빙도 해주시고 감사합니다”
“You will never be disappointed. The chef’s creativity in every dish shines through and is phenomenal every time. Makes me cry good tears! The best sushi on Oahu and a memorable, friendly atmosphere!”
“Pizza was really good. Very thin crust. San Marzano tomatoes sauce, perfect. Fresh toppings, just the right amount. House pulled fresh mozzarella. Need to find a more authentic Ceasar dressing recipe. Our salad was bland. We will definitely go back.”
“We arrived with no reservation after googling where the best tapas in Waikiki was. We were not disappointed - to the point that our teenage daughter insisted we go back the following evening. We all appreciated the flavour bomb of cross cultural creations and food art at affordable prices accompanied with a great wine selection that's perfectly matched with the menu. Think tapas plates of bacon wrapped dates filled with blue cheese, octopus, tripe, truffled egg custard pudding, croquets of creamy concoctions, mouth watering smoked salmon. Not to mention desserts of culinary perfection silky, smooth flavour that will satisfy your soul.”
“It was just ok. Too many options to consider for an OK experience. I wouldn't NOT go back if someone suggested it, but I can't imagine ever suggesting it.”
“Superior classic burgers, great fries, friendly staff and wonderfully nostalgic setting. Highly recommend!!! 🙌🏼”
“we came here for a reservation right after our engagement to celebrate! They knew about the celebration before we got there and we got some free champagne & chocolate ice cream at the end. Everyone was very sweet! The chefs were also involved in serving which was nice. They knew where everything on their menu was sourced which was also interesting to hear. They truly had the best sauces across all of our meals. It is a higher price point but is a great place if you are wanting to splurge for your vacation.”
“My all itme favirite restaurant. Excellent food and service. Reknown for their chirashi.”
“We loved both the food and the wine and the service. The place is gorgeous too. We had a wonderful time.”
“I love this spot! Live music daily. Great service, especially the bartenders! Everyone was happy and seemed like they loved working there. I went there almost daily due to how friendly the bartenders were! Highly recommended! Great food and drinks as well!”
“Absolutely delicious food from the kitchen and stellar service from Codi!
I loved the cocktail selection and the pulpo appetizer was great!
The pasta dishes we ordered were the perfect amount to share and be satisfied with and still have room for their delicious Crema Catalana and Cassata.
I'll definitely bring the family back to try more of their Spanish cuisine.”
“The staff are very friendly. Our waitress Dede was excellent. The sunset view is breathtaking. If you are in Waikiki stop by this bar and grill you will not be disappointed.”
“There's not enough space to right the good things about this place. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted and acknowledged by everyone, including the sushi chefs. Water and drink order is perfectly timed. Whether you order teishoku complete meals or sushi, the flavor and and portions are spot on. If you choose to sit at the sushi counter, the spread is just amazing. From white fish, tuna, to shellfish and sometimes even a fruit or plant to cleanse the pallet. I would recommend reservations as this place is always busy. Takeout is also very good!”
“I am foodie from Japan, enjoy once or twice a month hotel buffet in Tokyo. But Orchids Sunday branch menu was the best ever. Not only does it taste good, but it also tastes good, fine scenery, number and placement of staff and their diligence noteworthy.”

“Edomae-style sushi omakase with great sake-pairing options. Top-notch varieties of fish and delicate prep for all of them.
Very high-end, expecting at least $600+ per person for the pairing experience and extra dishes to feel full at the end.”
“Great variety of beers on tap! The refrigerated beer cans selection was super fun and has changed a lot since I was there in early June (2 months). They have a lot of really good San Diego beers, and some good NA beers too! Staff was friendly & helpful. Suggest finding street parking.”
“This place is small but stylish and beautifully decorated, from the star of a bar design to each and every cozy nook throughout. Now home of the best craft cocktails on Oahu and complimented with well thought out, mouth watering bites. I went with a friend for the grand opening evening and I would never have guessed it was a grand opening. The staff was friendly, seemed very at ease the whole night and the bartender was knowledgeable about the menu. We tried 5 or so different small bites and a couple various cocktails each from the menu and EVERY SINGLE item was delicious and crafted so beautifully we almost didn't want to eat or drink them (almost! 😋) Well done, Podmore!!”
“Fantastic food, delicious drinks, and the most welcoming staff. Everything our group of 6 ordered was outstanding and we all said we couldn’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend!”
“My wife and I visited for the tempura omakase and it did not disappoint. We had our first tempura omakase in Japan and this was just as amazing if not better. Service was top notch as well. Thank you so much for the experience.”
“Was happy to try another Roy's restaurant. Food was fantastic, plenty of choices and prices were reasonable especially considering was in Hawaii. Generous portions and excellent service! Would recommend without hesitation!”
“Everything we ordered (we forgot to take some photos) tasted very good.
Fried chicken was very popular among us and others at the restaurant. It ran out early. Nevertheless there are other fried food such as squid legs we enjoyed.
Friendly service staffs. Lively atmosphere, you do have to speak loud to hear each other type of a place.
Since it was weeknight, plenty parking space at the paid parking lot. We all enjoyed the evening at this restaurant.”
“The fish was incredible, the hostess was awesome, and it was one of the best meal experiences of my life! Reserve a spot at their omakase and you will have the meal of your life!”
“So welcoming ❤️ simple dinner or a drink at night next to the beach, priceless”
“Excellent food & great service. Obviously a huge selection of beers. We actually chose it for having good vegetarian burger options. Good atmosphere, it was a bit loud.”
“If you want top notch sandwiches and pizza made with the finest ingredients, come here! Everything is made with the utmost care and attention, no short cuts, no cheap substitutes. Service was warm and very friendly. These people take ownership and pride in their food. You won’t be disappointed. We were so impressed that I asked to meet the owner, Donato, who stopped what he was doing to come and chat. Best Italian!”
“First time here. Love this place. I will be back. The drinks are tasty. Staff are friendly and attentive. About 6 high top tables and bar seat. Reservations required. Also parking is available on the street or lots close by.”
“I first want to mention that our server, Tracy, was exceptional. the signature chicken meatballs and penne was as good as ever. And the little gem Caesar also consistently excellent. All staff members were attentive, and friendly. It is always a pleasure to come to this venue bringing friends who haven't experienced it, and knowing that the experience will be a positive one.”
“Everything was good. Great service.”
“What an exceptionally wonderful place for ambience, service and food. The staff were so friendly and attentive, our sever went above and beyond to be professional and friendly. The food - steak and salad with sides was excellent. The live music - guitarist/singer was also so good and created a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant.”
“Super Rude. I'll never go back. Much better places to eat nearby.”
“Definitely the Hawaiian Eggs Benedict with toast, the fried ice cream. the tarot pina colada, etc... you will not be disappointed with anything you order. Also, don't get me started with the service. Plz ask for Jessica. That girl deserves a raise or a promotion.”
“I really enjoyed coming to this bar for drinks I had a whiskey sour and it was perfectly balanced. The bartender that served me was very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately I did not eat the food since I had a full meal before although I've heard great things about how good it was. Next time I'm on island I will definitely try the food.”
“Was looking for a casual dining/bar experience and came across Genius Lounge. They have a wide selection of drinks, including Hawaiian-style cocktails and fun mixes. I got the green tea shot and the sailer Jerry Mai tai, both were tasty… and a little strong. I also got the chicken nanban, papakauli short ribs, and surf & turf entree. All the food dishes pleasantly surprised me with the good flavors, especially the Hawaiian bbq sauce rib eye. Literally so juicy and delicious. Would definitely recommend for a late night eat and drink.”

“Great Food with a European influence of France and Spain. Cozy atmosphere and the Chef ZZ is very talented with many years of experience. It’s a little hidden gem and has elevator parking for your car in the back of the building or you can park in the Walmart lot. I very much recommend this place.”
“OMG! The Hauoli Pastry Poi Mochisada is DA BOMB! Light & airy, slightly crispy outside. If I had known it was going to be this good, I would have bought 2 dozen. If you only buying for yourself, MAYBE 6 is enough, but I'm a big boy so a dozen would have been perfect for me. We discovered them at the Night Market at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club and I'm so glad we did. If I ever see them elsewhere, I'm definitely buying again. Otherwise, I will have to wait for the next Night Market, but I won't make the same mistake as tonight, so gonna leave with 2 dozen!”
“We visited Aina Steak and Seafood over the Christmas holidays and were a little bit late for our reservations. Luckily, the friendly staff still saved a table for us by the open kitchen. The kitchen and the entire restaurant, including the bathrooms, were very clean. The restaurant had a different vibe from other steakhouses on the island which was very refreshing. The friendly waitress took our drink orders and gave us an overview of some of the recommendations and specials. Our waitress was very attentive and always had a smile on her face. She checked on us multiple times throughout our dining experience. We ordered: Appetizer: Oyster platter, salad (came with the steak) Sides: Truffle mashed potatoes, mushroom medley Entrees: Prime ribeye, lamb rack Dessert: Creme brulee, cheesecake The apps were fresh and delicious. The protein entrees came with these special salts and wasabi on the side. It complimented the meat well. The ribeye was just mediocre but the lamb was some of the best I have ever tasted on this island. The sides were portioned well and very tasty. Desserts was just what you would expect to end the meal with. Overall the food was very good. Now this is where the night was sort of ruined. As we were seated near the kitchen, we could overhear the cook/manager/owner(?) berating his service staff very loudly and in earshot of us customers. We were not eavesdropping, but he was so loud that we could see that this was legitimate borderline verbal abuse. I felt sorry for the female staffers that had to endure his unprofessional outbursts in the workplace. I say this as someone who has worked in every position of the restaurant field. As a manager, I have never yelled at any of my staff ever, because you as the leader must show leadership. How do you expect to manage or control your environment when you cannot control your own temper? As a waiter, I would never tolerate an authoritarian manager. I would quit right on the spot. As HR, you might have a lawsuit on your hands if you were to abuse your workers. I loved the food, but I would only come back again if another cook or manager was working instead of this man. I cannot support a business that mistreats its workers, no matter how good the food is.”
“I and a couple of other retirees discovered Pur Sina when they opened and have been weekly customers ever since. Their small kitchen limits the menu choices, but what they offer is tasty and reasonably priced. The pleasant customer-oriented staff has made it serve as a home away from home for us, and we have always felt welcomed. If/when they leave, they will be sorely missed.”

“We sat on outside deck at the outside wall on a lovely evening. Food was delicious. Service was attentive. The noise level in the part of the restaurant under the roof was deafening. And because the doors were open the noise traveled to the outside deck. There was a speaker near our table on the wall that was playing music too loudly for my comfort.”
“We ate at Hula tonight for the first time and Levin took care of us! He went above and beyond and made the experience for myself, my mom and daughter absolutely wonderful. His suggestions for entrees were on point and his customer service was the best we had since arriving on the island! Thank you so much!”
“Our experience was amazing from start to finish. And there whole staff made our night a success. There staff was really helpful with celebrating my now future wife's birthday and my proposal to her tonight was so successful. JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR GUYS HELP. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS ALL. AND WILL DEFINITELY SEE YOU GUYS MORE OFTEN. BEST DINNER EVER.”
“Our dining experience at Morimoto Asia in Waikiki, Hawaii was exceptional! The appetizers like ribs and pork gyoza were fantastic, and the dinner choices, including fried rice, orange chicken, and the Miyazaki Wagyu certified grade 5 beef, were simply out of this world. To top it off, we enjoyed a birthday celebration with delicious doughnuts and ice cream with a beautiful chocolate decorative piece. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience! Plus: the service was amazing!”
“We were a little disappointed in two things this visit. Our table for two was in a booth with very little room (sitting too close to the table with no room to move back) and the other thing is that the butterfish (altho it was good), I missed the miso glaze butterfish. The fish itself was perfect...just the seasoning was different and not as relishes as the previous long time seasoning.”
“Staff at Lulu’s couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful if they tried. We went last night as a large party and they were so wonderful! Accommodating all of our needs, including moving our table due to a sensory overload for one of my children. Our server was outstanding, from helping with a suggestion for parking to getting all of our meals and drinks perfectly. Thank you for a wonderful night”
“First of all, this is not our first visit here for me and my husband. But this time we had our 2 kids with us. We walked in on a Father’s Day weekend on a Saturday, expecting no tables for a family of 4. They were able to sit us by the bar. And it was amazing, the food is great we had the MEGAHAWK, oysters, thick-cut bacon, keiki steak plate and very refreshing watermelon sorbet. Willian and Brian were friendly and superb with their service. As always we will be back again soon. THE STEAK IS NOT A MISTAKE ON THIS ONE!!! 👍🏼💯✅- R.C.”
“Stellar service! Prompt just enough attention and nice local vibe. Kids menu is actually really good food and nice touch with the cookie and ice cream dessert! Always go back around sunset with that amazing sunset view and hawaii cool breeze. Again did I mention the super service! The staff are super friendly with tons of aloha!”

“If your in Hawaii in Oahu and looking for phenomenal coffee and ambiance Drip Studio is the place for pour over and espresso drinks. Food looks amazing as well. Kengi & Maddy are amazing they treated us with great hospitality and we enjoyed chatting with them about all the different coffees.”
“I received the Go Miso Ramen on Tuesday. The ramen broth was rich, but didn’t have much depth in taste. I wasn’t sure what the black stuff on top was, but it appeared to be bamboo. The star of this dish was the taste of the ground pork. It tasted similar to wonton ground pork. The egg was slightly under my desired consistency. Overall, this ramen is a good, solid dish even if it’s not what I’d desire to eat on a typical basis for ramen.”
“A must visit spot to satisfy Indian food cravings! We ordered tandoori roti and it truly tasted like authentic whole wheat roti (not naan), freshly made. Garlic naan is also freshly made. The kadhai paneer, samosa chaat, and vegetable biryani were all flavorful and well prepared. Each curry comes with a complimentary serving of rice, which is a nice touch. The service is fast, attentive, and friendly, and the food has an authentic, homestyle taste.”
“Good experience. On a hot day, gelato is always a good choice.
Service was friendly and patient. Was able to try many flavors before selecting and ordering.
Portions were surprisingly larger than anticipated in comparison to other ice cream and gelatos shops in honolulu. Even the small had quite a bit of gelato in it and we could have gotten one scoop of two different flavors. Instead I just ordered the strawberry yogurt but it was good so no regrets. They also give you a small wafer with each item purchased, which was cool.
Definitely be back. Enjoyed it very much.”
“This place was outstanding! The food was impeccable, service was amazing, and ambience great. This was easily our best meal in Honolulu and would highly recommend to others. We will be visiting again on our next trip here! We had the dumplings, Lomi roll (the maki was excellent), and the chicken- all were outstanding!”
“The beer lab is amazing. Their beer is great and the wings are some of the best I've had. Idk how they get it so crispy on the outside while being so moist on the inside. Falls right off the bone. And their sauce is supreme. Reasonably priced (for Honolulu) as well. 10/10”
“I treated myself on my birthday and bought their ulu banana bread and a lemon poppyseed bread that came with a blueberry compote. Everything was absolutely delicious, nicely packaged and the woman (Maile?) who helped me was very pleasant. The baked goods are pricey and I doubt I would spend that much money every week, but they use quality ingredients that are themselves expensive. I highly recommend trying the products from this bakery.”
“A diamond in the rough! Great find for pau hana and Karaoke! First time there and felt very comfortable and welcomed. Even better is that it is close to the rail so no need to drive 😁”
“Thai Issan has recently opened a second restaurant at the place that Thai Village was operating from.
The dishes were very traditional with fresh ingredients. I tried its Larb with pork and that was really good. We also got the drunken noodles with chicken and it was decent, not overly sweet.”
